Today was a 90th birthday celebration, and we were thrilled with the service and the food. A pleasant chat with the staff was a real treat.

Three of us had various dishes from the lunch menu. Everything was delicious. When we left, I forgot my wallet on the table. The waiter looked for us outside and brought us the wallet, despite the very high temperatures. Very nice, overall a lovely restaurant.

Very nice ambience and friendly and professional service

I held my friend's funeral there. From ordering the menu to the ceremony, everything was fantastic. Our every wish was fulfilled, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service and good food.

The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. You get a warm welcome here. The interior is beautifully bright and everything appears very tidy and clean. The restrooms also make a good impression. One drawback, however, is that the tablecloth was already slightly dirty when I was seated. The meal was very extensive, including soup and salad. I didn't really need my starter. The starter was bruschetta. Unfortunately, there was a bit too much crema di balsamico on it, making it difficult to grip. Result: my trousers also got some of the starter on them. ;-) The taste was very good, though. The cevapcici came with three sauces, tomato rice and fries. It tasted very good, especially the sauces that came with it. Unfortunately, the minced meat rolls were completely covered in oil. In this case, the rolls could have been drained on a kitchen towel. Overall, just minor complaints at a very high level. I thought the place was very good and would happily come back.

I've had a flyer from Luisenhof in my mailbox several times now, even though I have a clearly visible notice on my mailbox saying "NO ADVERTISING PLEASE." It's a shame that we'll never try this restaurant because of this.

We celebrated here with 40 people and were absolutely delighted. The service was exceptional...very attentive and super friendly. The buffet food was delicious, and the selection offered something for everyone. Top-notch! The chef is very keen on ensuring his customers are happy and satisfied...a very informal atmosphere! We were here with 12 people for lunch. The table setting and layout were good. The service was attentive and helpful, but a bit clumsy. The food was satisfactory to very good; it's just a question of what you order and what the kitchen can do. The lamb, for example, is excellent, as is the rump steak. A real Wiener schnitzel, which they should practice with the breading, and the cucumber salad with the schnitzel was a joke; it was so tiny. The prices were generally too expensive for my liking. It was strange that certain dishes came with a salad first, but others didn't. If I had known, I would have ordered something in advance. So you just sat there and watched and waited...it could be better, dear team. In general, the space had the ambiance of a hall, not necessarily unpleasant, but somehow strange. I'll probably come back alone and eat in the winter garden, we'll see.

The Luisenhof was recommended to me by a friend, I didn't even know it. I celebrated my birthday there last Saturday, in the beautiful winter garden. Everything was perfect, the wonderful ambience, the table decorations, the excellent buffet, the friendly, attentive service, everything was really perfect. I was thrilled and my guests were full of praise. I would love to come back, and of course my next birthday at the Luisenhof!!

We celebrated a big birthday here with 60 people with dancing and good food, and we were completely satisfied. Great service, great buffet, all requests were catered for. The staff is approachable and skilled and helpful. Great decoration. There aren't many locations left where you can celebrate in such a relaxed way.

We regularly throw advertising into the mailboxes and despite written complaints that we don't want this (both to the management and verbally to the person posting the flyers), we continue. For that reason alone I will never visit this location. In addition, the menu is far too wide. If you're looking for something typical of the country, I can hardly imagine that you'll find it locally. In addition, the food (as several people from my circle of friends have told me) isn't really outstanding. More average to not recommended.

Update March 2025: Even 9 years later, still our favorite restaurant in Farmsen-Berne! And still 5 stars :-) Unfortunately msn can't give more than 5. The opportunity to now enjoy good wines is great. A separate wine list would be great, especially for a cozy after work evening. The Luisenhof and the Bisaku family are always worth a visit! We have been regular guests for years and also used the Luisenhof as a venue for our wedding in the summer of 2016. The advice and design as well as the communication went fantastically, everyone felt comfortable, it was a great celebration at a very reasonable price and a flat rate that - for a comparable scope - was far below other venues! We now eat there regularly and enjoy the renovated premises, the attentive and friendly service staff, the delicious food and the family atmosphere. Clearly 5 stars from us.

We always enjoy going out to eat. The boss Wilson has his heart in the right place and is the soul of the house. The lunch menu with its starter soup and dessert is always a highlight and recommended!!! Even in the evening the food is just GREAT! Trust the chef's wine recommendation with your meal. Special requests for food are happy to be fulfilled.

Was there on Boxing Day with my family. Booked the first batch from 12 - 1:30 p.m Disappointing! The buffet was not fully prepared at 12 p.m. and was dismantled again at 1:15 p.m. We had never experienced such a bad Christmas buffet. Price-performance doesn't fit at all. The price for a 5-year-old child was only charged in full. Only reduced by half upon request. Still far too expensive. The staff wasn't up to it. Don't come back again! Not recommended!!! It was really a big disappointment.

We were at the New Year's Eve party at the Luisenhof for the fifth time. This time, like the years before, it was a really great party. The guests and the employees were all in a great mood. Food is cold, no labels on the food, turkey and pork together on a plate, more organized like a wedding and not very harmonious. It is very loud, narrow & cold. Overall very dissatisfied for the price. Time limits not good either. The cheese was already hard and sweaty, no cutlery plans to refill it.

We had a wonderful 90th birthday lunch. The tables were beautifully set up and we received a very warm welcome and were able to take a seat in a small separate room. The champagne toast tasted fantastic and the food was very tasty. There were also delicious dishes on the menu for vegetarians and all of our wishes were fulfilled. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime, but there was never a rush and we were always served promptly and warmly. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

We had a private celebration there in the winter garden of the restaurant in mid-October 2024. The atmosphere in all rooms is very nice, as is the service. As a group of 20, we had “colorful plates,” meaning a little bit of everything. Everything tasted very good. As a minus point I have to say that there is no heating in the winter garden. And it was quite cool in the evening, especially because of the glazing all around. A gas patio heater was provided. In terms of transport, the restaurant is easy to reach by subway if you don't live nearby and can walk. The Farmsen train station is right next door. Drivers are rather unlucky. The restaurant has 4 parking spaces, which are of course always occupied! Nevertheless, the restaurant as a whole is recommended.
