Luisenhof & Dubrovnik in Hamburg

It's been a while but our Christmas party was the celebratory event of the year for all participants. We had a lot of fun despite the fact that the restaurant was full. The service and quality of the food were very good. So if you don't know where to have your celebration take place. This restaurant and its team is my recommendation.

We were at the New Year's Eve party at the Luisenhof for the fifth time. This time, like the years before, it was a really great party. The guests and the employees were all in a great mood. Was there on Boxing Day with my family. Booked the first batch from 12 - 1:30 p.m Disappointing! The buffet was not fully prepared at 12 p.m. and was dismantled again at 1:15 p.m. We had never experienced such a bad Christmas buffet. Price-performance doesn't fit at all. The price for a 5-year-old child was only charged in full. Only reduced by half upon request. Still far too expensive. The staff wasn't up to it. Don't come back again! Not recommended!!! It was really a big disappointment.

Today we took part in the Christmas buffet with the whole family and everyone was very excited. Our requests and questions were always answered immediately and friendly. The food was very good and the selection of dishes was very large. Very lovingly decorated and we were among ourselves in the winter garden. Thank you for the great food. The whole family was thrilled. (34 people)

Food is cold, no labels on the food, turkey and pork together on a plate, more organized like a wedding and not very harmonious. It is very loud, narrow & cold. Overall very dissatisfied for the price. Time limits not good either. The cheese was already hard and sweaty, no cutlery plans to refill it.

Every wish will be fulfilled here. Location is great, food is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. I celebrated my wedding here ages ago with over 100 people and to this day they have not lost any of their quality or friendliness. The Christmas buffet was PERFECT!!!!

The restaurant has a friendly, open appearance, the service team is friendly, relaxed, knows the menu and knows how to serve guests professionally. The dishes I ate there were all lovingly prepared and made to perfection using fresh ingredients. I recommend the restaurant without reservation

We had a wonderful 90th birthday lunch. The tables were beautifully set up and we received a very warm welcome and were able to take a seat in a small separate room. The champagne toast tasted fantastic and the food was very tasty. There were also delicious dishes on the menu for vegetarians and all of our wishes were fulfilled. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime, but there was never a rush and we were always served promptly and warmly. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

We had a private celebration there in the winter garden of the restaurant in mid-October 2024. The atmosphere in all rooms is very nice, as is the service. As a group of 20, we had “colorful plates,” meaning a little bit of everything. Everything tasted very good. As a minus point I have to say that there is no heating in the winter garden. And it was quite cool in the evening, especially because of the glazing all around. A gas patio heater was provided. In terms of transport, the restaurant is easy to reach by subway if you don't live nearby and can walk. The Farmsen train station is right next door. Drivers are rather unlucky. The restaurant has 4 parking spaces, which are of course always occupied! Nevertheless, the restaurant as a whole is recommended.

I can recommend this restaurant just for the starter salad! And otherwise the service was extremely nice, the food was very tasty, not too oily, not too bland, very well seasoned! I can only recommend it. Vegetarians and vegans don't miss out here either.

Very nice, good food and nice staff

Very nice staff. Food was very tasty and really homemade. With the meal there was soup and salad and at the end a scoop of homemade ice cream. Everything was included! Dogs were also allowed. It was simply a pleasant meal at an absolutely fair price.

Always friendly staff experienced. Same today. Drinks and food were delivered quickly. Our dog was also welcome and given water. Thank you for that. I ate schnitzel Viennese style with fried potatoes and vegetables. Before that there was a salad. The salad was delicious, fresh and appetizingly prepared. The vegetables and also the fried potatoes were deliciously seasoned. The schnitzel, however, was very disappointing. Very thickly sliced, it tasted dry, even though the breading was crispy. A schnitzel should be very thin, pounded appropriately and fried floating in a lot of butter. You could have cut 3 schnitzels from the piece of pork. What a shame, because less is more.

Very nice restaurant! We were there in a large group and we were well looked after. Food was very tasty. I liked some of the interior design, hence only 4 stars. I like the color contrasts, but the very impressive chandeliers bother me. The tables are nicely set up. Overall, highly recommended!

We celebrated my grandma's unforgettable ninetieth birthday here with a buffet, it was super tasty and great service. There was always at least one person there who looked after us and tried to fulfill all of our wishes. We couldn't have celebrated a better birthday.

Celebrated a diamond wedding here. The employees were all very friendly, accommodating and did a great job, our buffet was excellent and prepared with love. We celebrated our wedding yesterday at the Luisenhof and the entire team made this day the most beautiful day of our lives. The tables were wonderfully aligned and set, the food was terrific and left nothing to be desired🥰 the entire team was always attentive and loving at all times throughout the evening until late into the night. If you want to have a nice celebration, this is the best place 😊 the food, service and ambience are breathtaking. We still work with heart here. Seriously, everything has become so outrageously expensive and the quality has declined. But not here! Very hospitable and loving service and always looking after the children so that the parents can relax. And when the food comes, all worries are forgotten. Very delicious. We had planned a birthday party for around 60 people at the Luisenhof/Dubrovnik with a buffet and drinks. The room was beautifully prepared with white tablecloths, slipcovers and cloth napkins, and space for our disc jockeys and dancing. The welcome drink was offered attentively, the buffet was rich, varied and very tasty, it was constantly replenished and not a single plate was eaten. The staff was very careful, polite and always present. The celebration lasted from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. and pretty much all of the guests had positive comments about the party and the venue. We were very satisfied.

The service team was super attentive, great and delicious selection of food and drinks! Everything with a lot of love, joy and attention!!! We are already looking forward to the next time.

We went to the “barbeque evening” today. I really wonder why they put the grill and "side dish buffet" in front of the entrance. It was cramped and disorganized. Everything took place in the winter garden while 80% of the restaurant was empty. The buffet was a small table with bread, fried potatoes, potato salad, a bowl of tomatoes and onion quarters (!) and coleslaw, oh yes and the grill 😆 Plus tartar sauce, garlic oil and hot red sauce. That's it. There wasn't any more space on the small table. Well, the meat went like this. Then there was the big sound box in the winter garden with loud party music. But it wasn't a dance evening. But entertaining wasn't possible either. You can do better. We know this. That's why we're disappointed. But I still have to stand up for myself: the service was, as always, very friendly and attentive.

Almost inconspicuous right next to the Farmsen subway station. Therefore it is very good for a meeting upon arrival with the public. Suitable for Hamburg. The food is good and plentiful

Unfortunately, we were unable to experience the good impressions of other reviews. There was no answer to questions asked of the waiter. The chicken soup (for €7.20) served in a small starter soup bowl was oversalted and the few pieces of meat with bones were still there. Since no waiter came to ask if it was tasty, we complained about this in the end. Normally the dish is not included in the bill. But since there wasn't even a “sorry” from the waiter, that was to be expected. With a restaurant that is barely occupied, I can only describe the service of this mid-priced restaurant as poor. The vegetarian pan was rich, good and tasty. The cat ham in the farmer's omelet was somewhat tough. The turkey steak OK. While we were eating, the waiter at the next table cleaned the table with quick citrus cleaner. The smell was so intense that the smell in the nose overwhelmed everything else in terms of taste. Therefore, all in all, too many negative impressions to come back.

I was here for a smaller one. Very nicely laid out, cozy... but we were in the back (winter garden). You have to know the directions to get to the small parking lot... where I was actually lucky to get one. Otherwise it's probably better to reach it by train. Buffet was generally good. The meat was a bit dry for me. Minced meat very seasoned but tasty. Staff nice. Definitely recommended too.
