Bistro Babylon in Konstanz

Super delicious 😋, we ordered via Lieferando. It arrived within half an hour. We had an appetizer platter and two veggie pizzas. The pizza was delicious, with a nice crispy base and plenty of toppings, and not too much cheese 😍 simply delicious. The eggplant and onion pizza is my new favorite.

Great wines, good service, good food! If only Konstanz had more charming places like this...

Here, connoisseurs encounter gourmet cuisine and adventurers encounter the pure joy of life. About three weeks ago, we experienced a gourmet menu that offered harmony, finesse, and surprising flavors from the first forkful to the last. A love of food was masterfully combined with creativity and precision. The opening, with Gillardeau Oyster No. 4 in mango, chive oil, cucumber granita, and a delicate chili-coriander vinaigrette, set a fresh, surprising aromatic accent. Each subsequent course was pure joy! We would have loved to bathe in the truffled potato espuma. The service by Jerry and Tim was friendly, humorous, calm, professional, and pleasantly unobtrusive. Particularly impressive: Although there was no "official" wine pairing, they offered a customized solution that was second to none – exactly the kind of attention that made the evening perfect. The collaboration with our colleagues at the bar, who helped by serving the courses, demonstrated that every hand contributes to a great evening – and that guests are thoroughly pampered. We hope that the "Team" section on the restaurant website also showcases all those who make the success possible behind the scenes and in service – from the service team to the chefs and the tireless dishwashers. Because they all contribute to ensuring that guests enjoy such a perfect experience.

A complete disaster. Nothing was left on the online menu. The food took over an hour to arrive, even though we were the first to arrive. When we politely asked, the only response was an extremely arrogant "we have everything under control." The drink orders were all mixed up. Absolutely not recommended. I've never experienced anything like this before.
