The doner kebab wasn't bad. I didn't like their kebabs very much. What I liked most was the buttered bread that was constantly brought to me. Rice pudding and Kazandibi were delicious. A bit expensive in terms of price and performance...

I ate a plate of kebab, it made me a little nauseous and I had severe stomach pain.

I am extremely disappointed! We had lamb chops and two chicken skewers. The rice was soggy and both the chops and the chicken had no taste, even partially burnt. So if you can't do lamb chops, you can't do anything! The look of the food wasn't right either. The waitress holds the drinks at the neck of the bottle and the glasses too. If there is a complaint, he gives answers and when the customer clears it up, he has to specify everything. The toilet isn't exactly clean either!!! The dirty front door alone is enough to keep you from walking on it. I paid almost €60 for all the “positive” impressions!!!

We visit this restaurant regularly and are more than satisfied with both the service and the food. The prices are fair, the food is always tasty and well prepared, and the staff has always been friendly. We've never been inside, so we can't comment on the ambience or the toilets. You could make it a little nicer outside, maybe with flowers or something to provide some privacy, the main street is just moderately nice😅 (The team has now implemented it wonderfully, now it’s really cozy there 🙌🏻)

The restaurant is functionally furnished without a lot of chichi, as we have seen in many very good restaurants throughout Turkey since 1986 (3 month tour of Turkey = 10,000 km in our own new car). The staff and the food on offer are so brilliant that many Turkish restaurant operators would have to learn a lot from this great and absolutely authentic business with the same food, a mega range and quite affordable dishes! I ordered kebab bags 1.5 hours ago with an actual delivery time of 30-50 minutes and received the message that the kebab skewer had fallen over and no more kebab was available today.

The three of us came to the restaurant. We waited over 30 minutes for our order. Customers who came after us still received their food earlier. Customers of Turkish origin are taken for granted, which is why customers of non-Turkish origin receive their orders faster.

Employees are rude and gesture to send dogs home.

I wanted to go out to eat with family and our goldendoodle and was turned away. That our dog is too big. There were enough free tables in the restaurant.

There's no better way to have breakfast. The bread alone is amazing. We also went there for dinner and that was fantastic too. Vegetarians will also find something, but here the selection could be a little larger.

The old quality is gone Food portions have become smaller I bought soup and lamb ribs. It's not worth the money I paid. I ate it with a burnt taste. The soup has nothing to do with the tongue soup. It's really disappointing. As someone who came here every day a year ago, I would neither recommend it to anyone nor go there myself.

That was the first time today but definitely not the last time! Had Tavuk Sis to pick up and got a really decent portion at a great price and it was also super tasty😋!!! Come back soon…

Food: I personally ate Saç Kavurma, although I thought that the portion might be too small, as I wanted to order a Lahmacun at the same time. However, the Garcon convinced me that the portion of Saç Kavurma would be enough. TOP!!!! Service: Garcon was very attentive and read almost every request from our lips. Before we wanted to order meze and salad, he immediately put it on the table for us. Also TOP!!!! We ordered delivery today and unfortunately the food was not of the usual quality. On Saturday we had a family celebration in the restaurant, where everything was very good. Today we ordered four kebab pockets and a platter of cold and warm starters. There was no bread with the starters and the four kebab pockets were soggy and cold. The invoice was incorrect, but the very friendly delivery man corrected it immediately. The taste of the food was still good. I love meat and grilling and therefore I usually only do it myself due to my demands. However, I also enjoy eating out and have tried a lot of things. My conclusion: you don't need to try and experiment a lot - just Birlik and you're done. It is always very stable high level, especially the grilling skills. I'm glad to have it near me. Insider tip: the kebab and Konya Bicak Arasi (hope Ali Usta had a hand in the latter, because then it's on another level)

Great hospitality, great food, great service...what more could you want? There were four of us here and the waiting time for the food was absolutely fine. The restaurant also fills up quickly, which is no surprise given what's on offer. We felt very well looked after here. Here you can see the outside terrace in the pictures. The main restaurant cannot be seen here. The picture with the dessert is Turkish baklava with pistachios and vanilla ice cream. Dear Birlik team, keep it up...

Birlik Restaurant, has improved visually, but is no longer larger. The food was absolutely average to below average. Doner meat is absolutely not recommended. Not good value for money. Service mediocre.

Very good restaurant, service very nice and the food is fantastic! Homemade Ayran super delicious! The kebab meat (Yaprak) is uniquely delicious, probably the tastiest you can get in the area. It's just a shame that there's no simple kebab in bread on the menu. In any case, I haven't seen it, unfortunately. Otherwise I would have had another one packed. :) Or when you're hungry in between meals. Then it would definitely be one of the best kebabs in the area.

Service was zero, zero, so I won't go there again.. the owner should train his staff properly again

Question to the owner: Do you go to the toilet or wash your hands in your restaurant without having any concerns? I have been to your restaurant several times. Every time the toilet is in a catastrophic condition. Urine and full buckets everywhere. Toilets not flushed. Don't you notice it yourself? The fact that I waited almost an hour for the food didn't bother me that much. I will definitely not enter your store again.

I am very pleasantly surprised to visit such a restaurant near Solingen. The meat is delivered directly from our own butcher shop! It couldn't be fresher! You can taste the good meat in the meat dishes. The taste of the meat also comes through in the kebab. Here you don't need any artificial sauces to make the food tastier. You have to try the homemade ayran! It just tastes like vacation :) Künefe wasn't too sweet and you can order it as well. After a hearty meal, 1 künefe is often too much and can easily be shared. The staff is colorful, super fast and friendly at the same time. There is a relaxation room/masjid (where you can also breastfeed!). The furniture is high quality, the toilets are clean. There are also veggy dishes. There is something for every budget. Parking spaces are located next to the restaurant. On weekend visits, I would call quickly and reserve the seats. A visit will take place in the near future!

Delicious food! The Manti was filled, with a delicious yogurt on top. Sometimes a hot snack, sometimes a cold one, such an interesting dish. My husband also finished the doner pizza. The bread was very flavorful and thin. The toilets are a bit narrow, but clean. And you walk past the kitchen so you can see everything happening. Just off the highway, and there are parking lots.

Were there for lunch. Everything was successful. From the food to the service. Would definitely come again, even if it's further away.

We were at Birlik Restaurant last Friday. I don't know how many times I've driven past it. By chance I found out that this is a real restaurant and offers Turkish cuisine. So I decided to go there without a reservation. We liked the family atmosphere in the "Wintergarten", where we easily got a table. We then had starters and for the main course my friend Güvec and I had Sac Kavurma. Huge portions! My friend didn't make it and the very attentive waiter said that only 2 or 3 customers had finished my dish before me. But it was - even though I was more than full - just too tasty! He immediately offered to pack up the rest of my girlfriend, which she took up. You have to know that there is no alcohol there! But very good tea and ayran - homemade! Turkish lemonade is also on offer alongside German soft drinks. For us it was THE discovery and we will definitely go there regularly because (and I think I can judge this) it is very authentic Turkish cuisine and everything is freshly prepared there - without convenience! We could use the subsequent digestive walk back to Ohligs...

I ordered Iskender Teller and Lahmacun. The lahmacun barely had any minced meat on it. Iskender meat had fat and was cut too small.

Food came 1.5 hours after ordering. There was no information about the long preparation time when ordering. Lighting was broken. We ended up having to eat in the dark. Even a simple candle was not lit. A dry sorry was all you did.

Was there with my family to break the fast. We reserved a week in advance and discovered at the counter that the reservation had not been entered at all. Dinner time at 8:25 p.m. I'm currently writing this review at 8:31 p.m. without a spoon and without soup at the table, which I had ordered half an hour before. The waitress then asked three times which soup we wanted. I always enjoyed coming here and celebrated my birthday here every year. That was the last time I set foot in this store again.

One had the impression that it was more important to get as many people as possible into the restaurant than to ensure that things ran smoothly. The chairs at our table were also placed so closely that we sat shoulder to shoulder. The food was also not okay and was again subordinated to the vile money. All the vegetables and rice were just cold, impossible. The side salad was bland and without any taste. A real downgrade to our first visit. ------------------- We were there on a Saturday with several people. A table was reserved and everything went well. The waiter was a bit taciturn, but always friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the acoustics of the Birlik Restaurant are far too noisy. Too many smooth surfaces reflect any sound, which is reflected in the volume. The restaurant was very busy, which recommends making a reservation in advance. A rich menu with something for everyone. The dishes can all be described as very tasty and came quickly. All in all we felt comfortable.

We ordered pide with minced meat (€8.50) and extra cheese as a topping, adding a whopping €4. The most expensive pide costs €12.50 with a length of around 1.20m and this price was used for our minced meat cheese pide. I find it disgraceful. I'm a restaurateur and it wasn't the first time I went out for a pide. When I asked the employees about it, they said that's how it is with us.

Gutes bis sehr gutes Essen, so die Wertung von mir und meinen 4 Gästen. Preis/Leistung sicher 5 Sterne. Gute Beilagen, gute Auswahl, gute Bedienzeit. Auch das hausgemachte Brot und der ebenfalls hausgemachte Ayran waren top, genauso wie der "Absacker" Tee am Ende.
