I regret going there. Their pita bread is terrible. Raw meat and burnt bread. We mentioned this, the waiter was helpful and brought meat bread, but it was still raw meat. I will never eat it again. We were disgraced with our money. We even paid for the pita bread we didn't eat.

We went for breakfast with our family this morning. Everyone raved about the Birlik restaurant, but it was truly a disgrace. There were 15 of us, and the food they brought wasn't even enough for two people. Then, the person working inside didn't bring the kids what they wanted and kept telling them to eat something else. The service was absolutely zero. For a restaurant in such a beautiful location, this is disgusting service. The kids never got anything they wanted. And they charged me way too much for what I paid. So, they're clearly making fun of people. Adem

The service was terrible. The waiter was yelling and didn't bring what we wanted. Breakfast for six people consisted of a wooden platter with a few small items; when we asked for more, they added some tomatoes and cucumbers. It really didn't taste good at all. The bread arrived very late, and our children were yelled at because they asked for fries several times. As a restaurant owner, you should be happy when customers order more. Why yell at the children, and how dare you yell at your guests? I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a shame; we used to love eating here.

Excellent beef, delicious grilled chicken wings just like back home, and everyone was friendly and helpful. However, I'm deducting one star because the beef with flatbread is often missing from online orders, and the restroom is inconveniently located.

The prices are also perfectly reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast for six people. The photo shows most of the food. Outside the picture, there was a board with bread, a teapot, and then two more plates of bread filled with spinach and cheese. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish everything.

Unfortunately, the sauces weren't as good; the cocktail sauce tasted like a "Mercimek" soup. They also added too much of the not-so-tasty sauce. The salad was okay. Overall, the doner kebab wasn't recommended. It wasn't tasty, only the meat and the bread were just right. I wouldn't recommend the doner kebab (in bread); other dishes are tastier.

Ah, I never recommend it, we went there thinking it was a Turkish restaurant, they forgot our order for 50 minutes, it can't be this irresponsible, it's absolutely beyond mediocre, and when we got up after 50 minutes, they had just started making it, and the lady at the cash register said, "What am I going to do with these?" I said, "You can give them to the Turks who come behind us" because I've heard it before and read in the comments here that they serve the leftover old dishes to the Turks under the name of "ours". It was a bad thing for me to say, I will never go again, I won't recommend it either.

Completely satisfied from the food to the service

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with my visit. I ordered a doner kebab, but the staff prepared it entirely to their liking—without asking me what I'd like in it. Unfortunately, the doner kebab was filled almost entirely with onions, with no sauce. The taste was extremely onion-heavy, almost as if I'd gotten an "onion turnover" instead of a doner kebab. It's a shame, because I was actually looking forward to a delicious doner kebab. Perhaps they'll pay more attention to customer preferences in the future—then I'll be happy to come back.

For example, some dishes were topped with pistachios; while they looked elegant, unfortunately, three pistachio-filled dishes at our table were left uneaten. If this small detail were addressed, the experience would be even more wonderful. 🙏

Service and ambiance were good, the food was quite greasy, but otherwise good. And prepared quickly.

Unfortunately, when the terrace section was added to the restaurant, the service quality decreased. Sunday, August 31st: Breakfast was refused because we were a minute late. Instead, we ordered soup and pide – the wrong food arrived 50 minutes later. No concessions, just a mass processing. We were regulars with the whole family for a long time, but now: arrogant staff, declining quality. For us, that's it – never again.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant? A customer sat at the table next to us with his dog. The dog smell mingled with the food smell.

We received a very warm welcome at the Birlik Restaurant in Hilden, and the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. They even kindly let me charge my phone – truly thoughtful. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the portions were generous. My only minor criticism: on a Friday evening, with a full house, it took quite a while for the main course to arrive. However, the service was always smiling and attentive. All in all, a clear recommendation – we'd be happy to come back!

I'm calling out to Turkish citizens here: Don't go to this unity restaurant. If you ask why, there's a woman wearing a headscarf. She told the waiters behind the counter that I meant, "Give these leftovers from yesterday to our citizens, okay? Do you understand?" Today, I had to have soup again. A foreign family next door received baklava, and it had pistachios on it, even scattered across the plate. I was craving it. It looked nice, so I wanted it, but the baklava I received didn't have pistachios on it and didn't look as fresh as the one at the next table. The baklava at the next table was fluffy, but the one I received was thin and shrunken. In other words, Turkish citizens are treated as second-class citizens in this restaurant. It's unfair.

Unfortunately, our visit was a complete disappointment. We ordered three kebabs to go and only drove five minutes home, but the quality was still disappointing. The kebab wasn't very appealing visually: some of the sauces were scattered in the aluminum foil next to the bread, and the foil was completely soggy. After the first few bites, the kebab fell apart completely, making eating unnecessarily difficult. The texture was correspondingly unsatisfying—mushy, unstable, and barely edible without cutlery. The taste, unfortunately, was also disappointing. The meat was tender, but lacked any flavor. The "spicy" sauce was more reminiscent of a mild curry sauce from a chip shop. The red cabbage alternated between finely chopped pieces and thick, uneven chunks. The one star is unfortunately justified. This was definitely our last time.

We always love going there. The food is always incredibly delicious and freshly prepared. The staff are always friendly and strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You receive attentive service throughout, and you never have to wait long, whether for your food or a refill of tea. As soon as your plate is empty, someone comes over to ask if you need anything else. All in all, it's a place where you feel welcome and simply enjoy eating. Highly recommended!

How can you wait 27 minutes for a lahmacun and then it's still cold...

The food was very good—fresh, tasty, and authentically Turkish. However, the service left a lot to be desired: When I asked about non-alcoholic beer, the only response I received was that they didn't sell alcohol—which doesn't really help. The Coke size was also inconsistent when ordering multiple times—sometimes 0.2 liters, sometimes 0.3 liters. This shouldn't really happen. Overall, the visit is worthwhile for the food, but the service clearly needs improvement.

If you're looking for delicious flavors in a wonderful atmosphere, this is a restaurant you absolutely must visit. I highly recommend trying the meat pide (1.20 cm).

We were there today with two adults and two children. The restaurant makes a very nice impression at first. As we sat down, a waiter came to clear the dishes from the previous guests - greeting us was probably unnecessary. The food we had ordered (two portions of fries for the children, a lamacun, and another vegetarian dish) arrived in dribs and drabs... first the lamacun, then the vegetarian dish, and after a measly 45 minutes (after asking several times and canceling a plate of fries in the meantime), the fries finally arrived. Plus point: the second plate of fries was brought anyway, and one of them was on the house. The waiter didn't offer any apologies for the delay. When we wanted to pay, the boss (?) came and apologized, and we got another portion of baklava on the house. The food tasted okay - but I wouldn't go there again - especially not with children.

The food is always excellent. No matter what you order, everything is delicious. I like that they run out of doner kebabs on a given day—to me, that means there's a fresh kebab every day, and that's fantastic. My favorites are the baklava with kaimak and adana durum.

The service is catastrophic, unfriendly waiters, had to wait 40 minutes until a waiter finally came to the table, completely disorganized.

Bland salad, stale, sour meze (appetizers), cold, soggy rice, cold grilled food, poorly seasoned. Dirty tables and floors. Disgusting restroom. What can I say? We had stomach upset after half an hour. The prices are also disproportionate under these conditions! Things used to be different!

We ate döner on the leaf, we expected real döner but it was like the döner in the doner shops, I would not recommend it. Most of the people who went there ordered mixed grill and lahmacun.

Last week, I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner. The table we sat at was dirty, it took 15 minutes for the waiter to clean the table. The food tastes mediocre, there is no trace of the old quality. If you sit at the tables next to the windows, look down slowly to your side, you can't see your eyes because of the dirt. The sinks are filthy, you can't take a step. The waiters greet you with faces 5 inches wide. We also decided to drink ayran, but we regretted it. They put 1 spoon or less of yogurt in 1 glass of water, mixed it and brought it to us. I will never go there again.

I had breakfast and kebab at another time, both were great, I recommend it, it's a nice place.

I don't quite understand the restaurant's reputation. 1. There was no more doner meat left around 6 p.m. on a Sunday. And it must be said, it wasn't busy. It was more of a coming and going situation. 2. You could order, but the drinks took a while to arrive. It's no wonder, then, when the waiter keeps going out to smoke. 3. At the Adana kebab, you could count the fries. A bit steep for the price. 4. Instead of lamb, they shoved something else into our sac kavurma, but it definitely wasn't lamb. 5. We paid to a very grumpy/annoyed cashier. It was also interesting to observe that guests we apparently knew were served very quickly, even though they arrived later in the restaurant. The amount of food on their plates was also massively different from ours. Sure, you shouldn't compare, but with the same dishes???

We were there for the second time today with six people and were absolutely thrilled! From the delicious breakfast to the large platter in the evening, everything was perfect. Friendly staff and delicious food at fair prices! The restaurant is always busy, so reservations are recommended. A small point deduction for the open-plan ambiance and the restrooms. I wanted to order takeaway. They said it would take 10 minutes. It turned out to be 25 minutes. Okay, I was offered a cup of tea instead. The food was delicious, if a bit spicy. BUT the value for money wasn't right. For €40, a doner kebab on fried cubes with yogurt and appetizers – very reasonable – for two people. The advertised pide with spinach was completely missing. We wouldn't recommend this place!

I have been there regularly with several people for about 8 years. Initially one of the best Turkish restaurants in North Rhine-Westphalia for us in terms of price/performance and quality and ambience. There are now new owners, as the staff say, and unfortunately you can see that in all respects. On the last three visits, all meat dishes except the chicken dish were left because they were inedible. Waiters pass it on but still collect the full price. Basically everything from the theory is still the same In practice, you do everything wrong. I think you'll notice that in your sales now. Add to that the dirty and bad-smelling toilet and kitchen at the back, no matter how beautifully the terrace was made. Isn't the turnover enough to slowly bring things up to speed? In any case, you have lost us All the best and much success for the future

We celebrated our wedding dinner in the Birlik Restaurant and were more than satisfied all around. From the loving decoration to the delicious food, everything was perfectly organized. Everything went smoothly. There were around 60 of us and we had our own area, which was very nicely prepared. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. The service was first class. The staff was attentive, friendly and always available. We were regularly asked if we would like to dance and appropriate music was played straight away, including a nice opening melody. The children were also thought of: they were able to play in the yard undisturbed, which relieved the parents a lot of stress. We can only recommend the Birlik Restaurant. It was an unforgettable evening, thank you for everything!

I had a meal here and had a kebab plate, it was super tasty and the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The portion was very filling. Meat was well prepared, not too dry and not fatty. Would recommend it to everyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Even though the store was half empty, we were only assigned a seat either in the middle of the aisle or next to a group of eight with 4 children, where it is of course very loud. So you could forget about eating comfortably. For the chicken skewers you wanted to pay extra for the fries. This is the first time I've heard that fries cost extra when the chicken platter costs €17. So you could choose between rice and bulgur. The bulgur was already clumpy and cold. The “salad” consisted of some cabbage, carrots and onions just slapped together. So the only thing left was the chicken skewer, which didn't taste particularly good either. The drinking bottles were grabbed by the neck and the glasses were placed upside down on the dirty table. All in all the worst restaurant I've been to.
