Very tasty and varied. But suddenly nothing more was offered, and since the other guests were walking around us and they were just cleaning up, we quickly got the feeling that we should leave too. That was at 9:30/9:40 pm, even though they were supposed to be open until 11 pm. The waiter just said, "Yes, we're closing unusually early today because 'all' the guests are gone..." Okay, that might be true, but we had only started with the appetizers at 8:15 pm. 😅

Even though we ordered the rodizio, we had to wait a very long time for each course. I've never experienced that there before. I was really disappointed today. 😟😟

The food was okay overall, however, I was offered potato gratin at the beginning. When I asked about it later, I was suddenly told it was sold out. That was a bit disappointing, as it had been promised beforehand.

On Christmas Day, the restaurant was very busy, and the rodizio service was anything but well-organized! The vegetables were cold, and the skewers always arrived at the other tables first, resulting in very long wait times. We ordered more sauces, but they were never served. The quality of the food itself was good, and the staff tried their best, but in my opinion, they were overwhelmed.

We enjoy eating here, mainly for the rodizio, often with four to eight people. Good atmosphere, great service.

I've been there three times now. The first few times were good. Around Christmas time, it was somewhat disappointing. We sat in the large hall. The noise level was very high. It might be okay for a corporate event, but I found it a bit too loud for a private gathering. Regarding the food: Side dishes: The broccoli was far too hard, the cauliflower far too hard, the green beans far too hard, and the potato dumplings were okay. I have no idea if the vegetables had even been cooked in a pot. At that price, I expect more than just that. The side dishes lacked a certain something. They were probably all from a standard catering mix, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But something was missing. I skipped the salad bar. If I'm spending €30 on meat, I only want to eat meat. The chicken was okay, the pork was tasty, but the beef and lamb seemed to arrive only when I was almost full. If you hadn't already had at least two courses of inexpensive chicken and pork, you were practically skipped for the beef and lamb. But you know that beforehand. The drinks were expensive. We paid €200 for a rodizio for four people. For that price, I expect really good food, and it wasn't. So, no more rodizio for now ;)

Unfortunately, the service has declined significantly. We were seated in the area where the kebabs are grilled. We had booked a table for 10 but were given one for 8, which was quite a challenge. It's a shame that they only offered the Christmas menu during the holiday season. The staff tried their best. Next time, we won't be coming during the holidays. It was far too crowded and extremely noisy. It would also be nice if card payments were accepted.

And once again we made the mistake of going to the Hacienda for New Year's Eve. The reception at the front was unfriendly when we inquired about our reserved table. Our group, who had ordered rodizio, had to repeatedly remind the waitstaff to offer beef instead of sausages and bacon. Rodizio is too expensive for that. For our group who ordered plated meals, the rump steak was simply raw inside and the turkey steak tasteless. The eggs on the salad bar were half-burnt and smelled bad. It was loud and overcrowded; the restaurant certainly made a good profit that evening. The restrooms are disgusting. Next year, and actually in general, we'll be avoiding the Hacienda. You can find much better and higher-quality rodizio in Hamburg. What a shame...

Unfortunately, we were disappointed, even though we traveled all the way from Bavaria. The first two or three rounds were very positive, but after that, there was a really long dry spell when it came to food. Just for fun, we set a timer to pass the time, and in about an hour of our three-hour stay, we were only offered warm pineapple once. Only after asking several times were we offered meat again. The meal for four is really only worthwhile if you're a couple.

Went home hungry after three hours because we received virtually no service, even after complaining.

I asked for food several times, gave up after three hours, and drove home with a half-empty stomach. We're going to the Famila supermarket across the street now to get a cheese and ham croissant.

Things have really gone downhill. People keep walking past with the skewers, even when you wave, they just stare and deliberately don't come. 150 euros for two people caught and two children with one bottle of water is ridiculous. I don't know if the waiter pocketed it or if it was so expensive because of Boxing Day. Never again! I had sharp bones in my food, or I don't know exactly what they were. Now my gums hurt.

We opted for the Christmas brunch at the Hacienda restaurant again this year. Unfortunately, all that remains of our fond memories is the now somewhat dated ambiance and the consistently friendly and tireless waiters who diligently served the food. However, the only drinks offered at brunch are coffee, tea, and hot chocolate; you have to ask for anything else yourself. A vegetarian option is also available, but this is simply the rodizio without the meat – salad, fries, and dry vegetables. The fish at the brunch was just as dry as the meat in the rodizio. The price has gone up, and the quality has gone down. The low point came when they claimed we hadn't paid yet, even though another employee had already taken our payment. Ultimately, due to the incompetence of the staff responsible for taking payments, I had to pay extra because suddenly there was no longer a discounted price for children. It's also questionable that you don't receive a receipt; perhaps the tax office could find that interesting...

Today, as has been the tradition for many years, we went there on Boxing Day. We used to be really satisfied, but this year they've really changed for the worse. The waiters came by countless times during the rodizio with smoked pork loin and chicken. Those were actually quite good. Then at some point, a meatball with a dark sauce arrived. Warmed-up, pre-packaged meatballs taste better. At one point, a waiter slammed his chair back into my wife's shoulder, for which he apologized. Okay, these things happen. Then the beef arrived... FINALLY... first, steak on a skewer. OH MY GOD... The animal must have been killed twice. Shoe leather is nothing compared to this. Completely inedible, as was my piece of boiled beef. Overcooked. Someone at our table asked for mayonnaise... oh, how surprising... we had to ask twice before it finally arrived. Lamb or veal, like they used to have, wasn't available at all anymore. At the next table, they were complaining about bones in their boiled beef and having to ask for the bill five times before anyone came. The restrooms were in a similarly sorry state. Two of the urinals were marked as broken, and you could constantly hear running water coming from the toilets. All in all, in my opinion, the restaurant has gone downhill significantly. Dear restaurant owners... read this and do better.

We ordered rodizio, and it started quickly with the Kassler (smoked pork loin), chicken, and sausages, which tasted good. Vegetables were offered frequently. Excellent. We had to ask several times for mayonnaise. Then, eventually, the beef arrived. The steak on the skewer was overcooked and therefore inedible (like a shoe sole), and the Tafelspitz (boiled beef) was also almost tough... let's say very firm to the bite. Veal or lamb, as they used to offer, were no longer available at all. Very disappointing. At the next table, they were complaining about bones in their meat and had to ask for the bill multiple times. The restrooms were awful... two urinals were broken, and the toilet was constantly running. You guys used to be so good. All in all, we were full, but the food was a real shame.

We had booked a Christmas party for 26 people. We had agreed on a mixed grill platter (no pork), potato gratin, mixed vegetables with hollandaise sauce, and a scoop of ice cream with hot raspberries and a drink for dessert. Once everyone had ordered, the owner decided the 0.5-liter glasses were too expensive. He should have instructed his staff to serve 0.2-liter glasses beforehand, instead of simply taking orders and then arguing about it. The vegetables only arrived after further discussion and much too late, when the meat was almost gone. Side dishes, spoons, and plates were missing, and we constantly had to go and get them. The vegetarian dishes were only brought out after we asked for them. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience. What a shame!

We've known this restaurant for a long time. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated significantly over a long period. The staff barely understands German anymore, so you can't even properly explain what you want. For example, if you want lamb without the crackling, it's difficult. We'll now have to look around for other options, as this was truly one of our regular haunts.

When we paid, we were reprimanded because we wanted to pay by card, as tipping wasn't possible that way. The men's restroom was very disgusting and dirty.

Good selection of food. Almost every dish comes with a salad bar where you can assemble your own salad. The meat was very firm to the bite. Good selection of side dishes, such as croquettes, herb butter baguette, and more. Broccoli was served with almost every dish, but no other vegetables. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and suitable for groups of all sizes.

Well, as my predecessors have already mentioned, the golden age is over. Quite obviously since the change of ownership a few years ago. Our reservation couldn't be found. Drinks arrived quickly, side dishes by the minute. Meat? Forget it. In 70 minutes, we received one portion of lamb scraps, one portion of smoked pork loin scraps, one portion of rump roast, and one portion of sausage. That was it. We repeatedly asked for the skewers to come by again... Well, apparently, they forgot. When paying, I complained once more that we were dissatisfied... This wasn't reflected in the final price. They simply pointed out that the restaurant was too full. A blatant response. Definitely my last time there. In fact, it has to be said that the decor hasn't changed in what feels like 25 years. The restaurant is generally musty, and the restrooms are downright unpleasant. What a waste of money.

Ordered and paid for a filet steak, received a sirloin steak. The days when this place was good are apparently over. It's now solely focused on quantity. We won't be back!!

We booked a table for six for our birthday dinner, but it wasn't available upon arrival. We ordered the rodizio and received insufficient meat and side dishes, only after asking for more. When we paid, they excused us by saying they had 100 guests over capacity, meaning we had to divide the available meat among everyone present at full price. I wonder if this is normal. Very disappointing for our guests and for us as the payers.

Saturday, 6:30 p.m. We had a reservation for four people. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, and we were told that our reservation had been canceled! (Uh, no?!) Then we were shown to a table and sat there. Waiting. About 10-15 minutes later, eight people sat down at a neighboring table, and the waiter immediately asked them if they wanted drinks. The same waiter then walked past our table, placed a stack of menus on it as he passed, and continued on without looking at us. (We would have liked to order drinks too...) Meanwhile, the drinks were being served next door... Finally, "our" waiter came back to our table, and I asked him the difference between "Mixed Grill" and "Rodizio." He snapped at me that they didn't offer "Mixed Grill" on Saturdays (even though it was advertised on a board in the entrance). Our companion then retorted that a polite inquiry could have been answered politely. The waiter turned around, and instead of being served, we were studiously ignored! The next table was already receiving their food when our drink order was finally taken! Three of us opted for rodizio, and so the evening unfolded. There was a sufficient quantity and variety of side dishes. Servers repeatedly approached us, asking if we wanted fries, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, cauliflower, beans, etc. The carvers with their meat skewers also came by regularly. Sausages, smoked pork loin, sausages, pork neck, sausages, smoked pork loin... The carvers with the truly high-quality meat consistently gave our table a wide berth. We could observe them but couldn't get their attention. Therefore, we specifically asked the other staff about boiled beef and poultry. Unfortunately, they couldn't help us. Only once did someone finally come to our table with boiled beef. Later, poultry and plenty of rump steak were also offered at the next table. Unfortunately, our plates had already been cleared... For €31.90 per person, the service was more than poor! The overall impression: Absolutely disappointing! Never again!!! There are so many good restaurants with friendly staff and really good food! We'll eat at one of those next time. You won't see us at this establishment again!

The food arrived incredibly quickly. Even though the place was packed, everything ran very smoothly. The waiters were very friendly and served us relatively quickly. We always enjoy the food, and the lunch specials and happy hour offers are very tempting 🍜. There's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. We always enjoy coming back.

Yes... We constantly had to ask for food. We didn't get any side dishes at all, only after asking. Our waiter at our table was simply fantastic and funny. If it hadn't been for him, I think I would have left. Unfortunately, we had to keep asking, which was very uncomfortable for us. I probably won't be coming here again anytime soon.

As always, the food was delicious, but this time the server assigned to us was busy with other tasks, so the server also served the other tables, which led to longer waiting times. But otherwise, it was fantastic once again.

I've lost count of how many times we've eaten there. The food is AMAZINGLY delicious. The staff is always very cheerful.

Tried their Rodizio and it was interesting and a new experience to me. The meats were properly charred with balanced spices. Also there were varieties of veggies as well with complementary salad bar. It was a nice evening there with my colleagues. Would love to revisit someday.

The food was light. But nothing more. The vegetarian rodizio consists exclusively of side dishes, no vegetable skewers or anything similar. Some of the restrooms are broken. Service was average.

We've been here again after a long time. But basically, everything's the same. Please get us guests some small tongs to keep at the table so we can take the meat directly from the spit. This way, you'll avoid grease splashing on, for example, a white shirt!

We had a G3 and a salad buffet beforehand, which was a mistake. You can't handle G3 after that. Grilled meat weighing almost 300 grams, plus schnitzel and fries. Your stomach has its limits, and you can order more. If you can handle that, you'll eat well. *****. We'll be back on Saturday.

A very nice restaurant in Jesteburg. The Rodizio menu is somewhat smaller, and the selection of appetizers is limited. Unfortunately, there's no dessert included, but you can order something from the à la carte menu. The service is excellent, and the staff is super friendly.

If you're into food combining... first of all, undercooked meat, straight from the skewer, and pork still bloody is a no-go. The vegetables, broccoli, and cauliflower were too tough with canned béchamel sauce. Beans were simply soaked in water without any butter, and he seriously put 2.5 beans on my plate. Then I asked for some more mushrooms, the waitress said, "Then just take everything." The carrots were delicious. The meat was otherwise okay... Of course, the meat doesn't taste seasoned on the inside... I don't like it. But to each his own... By the time the meat arrives, the vegetables are already cold. Fries were good, and so were the potato chips. Conclusion: You have to like it, either cold vegetables with warm meat or everything separately. The waiter was very nice, though.

Super great restaurant. I've been a regular there for 10 years. Super great, friendly, and welcoming staff. I only ever eat rodizio there, which is truly incredibly delicious. The salad bar is really fresh, and there's a lot to choose from. I always enjoy coming back. If it's very busy, you might have to wait a little longer for the meat, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Otherwise, very satisfied. The price-performance ratio is also good ☺️

We went to Rodizio last night and returned home very disappointed. At first, our table was ignored. The meat wasn't cooked through, but rather tender. The potato casserole was too salty, and the vegetables were still raw. We are very disappointed and won't be going back. What a shame.

My meal (grilled platter) was served carelessly; the meat was dry, and the minced steak was greasy and gristly, along with soggy, dry fries. Something in the side salad was sour (spilled over)! Only the prices are hefty. The manager seemed annoyed, as if he wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Only when we paid did he say (almost rudely) that card payments weren't accepted. The restaurant made a sleazy impression on me and my companions (four people). I won't set foot there again and almost want to warn others. How this restaurant got such positive reviews is beyond me.

We had a grill platter, I think we ordered 45 or so, for €35, with fries, two Spezi (spicy beer), and a water. This package was charged for two, even though it shouldn't have been. The platter was a joke: 6 small pieces of steak, almost raw, only seared once, the fries had probably been kept warm, and 8 small croquettes, a couple of mushrooms... Bam, €86. Things used to be better! Annoying waiters... dirty toilets... absolutely crap... never again!

We wanted to eat Rudizio...the problem was, the people never brought the meat...twice within 30 minutes...I was really angry! Then the waiter came and asked me if I wanted anything else specific...then something else came...not recommended!

The BBQ was very tasty, the steak was cooked to perfection and without any tendons, but unfortunately, it's hard to manage more than two portions. My wife's lamb, however, was quite tough, lukewarm, and overcooked. The new portion after a complaint wasn't much better. Next time we'll have Rodizio, apparently they're best at it.

Delicious food! The steaks and scampi are excellent and of very good quality! The service staff was super nice. The ambience is very nice. The delicious food is available at a cheaper price during happy hour. We'd love to come back. In the evenings and on weekends it is better to reserve in advance.

We stopped here by chance, very tasty grilled meat, asparagus soup or salad bar goes with the dish. Very nice staff.

Why you're impressed at first and then go home disappointed in the end. The ambience and arrival hide the small inconsistencies of the visit. Huge interior space and even outdoor seating provide plenty of space for large groups. At the beginning the large white plate is empty and the drinks are ordered. Large drinks offer plenty of quantity, but my cola was non-carbonated, more like sweet sugar water. The salad bar was ok, the offerings were varied, unfortunately the eggs were cold and completely overcooked. Later, the young waiters appear little by little and offer their meat skewers. If something falls down there, there's an "oops" and no excuse for splashes of grease flying away. At first you are oversupplied with meat, the desired side dishes arrive very late and the fries seem to have been rejected. When eating, the adjacent tables are then roughly cleaned with spray cleaning agents. The chemicals in the air are perfect for eating. At some point the interior becomes empty, meaning there no longer seems to be any reason for the waiters to offer any more food. No one was seen for about 20 minutes; instead, half the staff had to eat dinner with small children at the next table. Only then were there occasional requests for new dishes. Even multiple requests for additional supplements were answered with “come back soon” and in the end they were largely unheard of. The way to the toilet is not really visible, larger labels would easily help. The toilets on the men's side were pure horror. So dirty, wherever the dirt came from, doesn't belong in a restaurant like this. If you don't care about the guests, then at least the place should be clean. The highlight at the end comes with the payment. The menu shows a reduced price for Sundays from 5 p.m., but of course this does not apply on public holidays. The fact that the restaurant then treats Mother's Day as a holiday is the final straw. All in all, a good concept in gastronomy, only this individual restaurant tramples on the idea. You should think carefully about whether you want to eat there.

The positive first: The employees are friendly. We have eaten Rhodizio several times in other restaurants. Until now we knew that it started with side dishes and the skewers were gradually served. You always had to be careful not to eat too much of the side dishes in order to still have room for meat. It's not like that in Jesteburg. From the beginning you have the feeling that you are eating food that combines food. By the time the first side dish was offered, there were already three skewers. Initially there was only one other table outside that was taking part in the Rhodizio. These guests and we were served attentively. When two more tables were occupied after a few minutes, the waiters' attention changed. From that point on we were no longer offered any side dishes. We could see that there were also side dishes that had not been offered to us before The waiter looked at us every now and then, but didn't think it was necessary to come to us. Of the three other waiters who served the skewers, two were focused on the two newly occupied tables. A third waiter, with somewhat colorful hair, was the only one who continued to keep an eye on all the tables. He continued to be attentive and friendly. We spent almost €90 in this restaurant for two people today. But the service is really bad and the selection of side dishes (including poultry meat) is very poor. You still have a lot of room for improvement

Yes, it's good! The salad buffet is great. But unfortunately not as good as it was a few years ago. Very quickly a lot of meat and unfortunately few interesting side dishes. Very narrow seating and therefore very loud. Nice but very expensive. Therefore it no longer feels like anything special.

Delicious meat dishes from up to and a service that never stops until you can't anymore. If you had a points system of 1-100, 500 points would be too few 👍👍👍
