The food is good. The rusty knights are excellent! The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere by the pond is great!

The beer garden is idyllically situated by a small pond in the middle of an extremely beautiful, well-kept park in the heart of Pirmasens. The park alone is worth a visit, especially with children. We received friendly service in the beer garden itself. The menu is small, but the food is very tasty. Excellent value for money. A very enjoyable lunch for us. And we'd be happy to return. Highly recommended

Great beer garden, friendly, attentive staff, but unfortunately the food is terrible and very expensive.

We were there today for the first time this year and were disappointed. Until last year, the food was really good and reasonably priced. Now the prices are high, but the quality is subpar. The fries and salad were so oversalted they were inedible...the tarte flambée was sticky and tasteless. These days, a creamed schnitzel with fries costs a whopping €17, a burger with fries €16, and six jacket potatoes with a spoonful of quark and four slices of salmon come to €14. But the biggest outrage is the €6 they charge for a 0.7-liter bottle of mineral water. Sorry, there are actually nicer beer gardens in the area where the food is good and the price-performance ratio is good.

Nice little outdoor dining area with table service. Unfortunately, card payments are not accepted. Great service, friendly staff. Tip: the homemade lemonades!

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Plus, the service is very friendly and quick. We love coming here!

The food was the biggest failure in my life... A huge disgrace to humanity... Anyone who gives more than one star (because 0 is not possible)... apparently hasn't eaten anything good yet or has had a calcification of the taste... Ready-made schnitzel for over 15€... and fart dry... Cream sauce wasn't quite a disaster in terms of taste but close... Apart from the quantity (4 forkfuls of meat with sauce then it was empty)... You needed a spoon for the fries because they were all small pieces (maybe you bought broken fries) :) Spare ribs with coleslaw over €14... It came off the bone very easily and well, but also like the ready-made schnitzel fart was dry... Barbecue sauce how could it be different from the tube... Coleslaw was actually very good (quite spicy) but that wasn't a big problem for me...it was the only thing that tasted good and satisfied my hunger a little... You can make ColaWeizen for €4.50 (normal these days) Service was ok...the two girls can't say anything about what the kitchen produces... In the end I paid 60€, came home and cooked 🤦🏻😂 My conclusion: You can eat better at every snack bar in Pirmasens and the surrounding area

Great service, excellent food! We had a cheeseburger with fries and a sausage salad with fries. A side salad was served with it. The burger was very good. A fluffy bun, juicy patty and a delicious burger sauce. The fries were crispy and also went well with the sausage salad. The salad was fresh and perfect with a delicious vinegar and oil dressing. Particularly worth mentioning is the homemade lemonade, which also tasted very good. For dessert we treated ourselves to “Rusty Knights” with vanilla sauce, which was also very successful! Together with a large bottle of mineral water we came to less than €50 in total. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine and fair. 😊 The beautiful location is an extra bonus!

We had to wait quite long before we were served at all, then part of the meal came before the drinks, some later and a dish was completely forgotten. In terms of taste, it was delicious, but also quite expensive (€ 15 for a TK schnitzel with fries).

We always enjoy coming to the beer garden, the food was always really good but unfortunately the Greek and Italian salad plates were tasty not at all yesterday. No comparison with 14 days ago, dressing was very watery and full of dill, almost only green lettuce and it was already wilted. Sausage salad was very clear, looked like half a portion. We were all a little disappointed.

Great ambience and great service, food was also very tasty and came very quickly. Flammkuchen are freshly topped and taste very good.

Great beer garden right on the water. The food is delicious and so is the coffee. Unfortunately the playground is not right next to it, but there is a small pond and the meadow. Can be easily combined with a visit to the dynamicum or the playground

A beautiful beer garden in the idyllic Strecktalpark! The waitresses are friendly. The food is good and you don't wait too long. Not a large menu, but completely sufficient. There is a special dish and of course cake until 2 p.m. You can sit comfortably under large umbrellas in the countryside, next to a pond, completely relaxed and informal

We've been here several times. In addition to the great view of the lake, there is super friendly and quick service here. The food here has never disappointed us either. Always happy ☺️

Very unfriendly, not accommodating, if you like garlic beer this is the place for you. Was my first and last visit.

Die Idee dort einen Biergarten zu eröffnen ist super. Essen geschmacklich und preislich ok. Bedienung ist immer freundlich. Live Musik gibt es auch Mittwochs. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🤗
