Very nice beer garden in the city park. Delicious food, super friendly staff. Good value for money. The children's playground is large and well-equipped. Beautiful location – perfect for families!

I first came here 4 years ago and they still have my favorite Lillet Berry. That was nice. Plus, it's quite reasonably priced. If you want to have a drink in the park, definitely come here!

I was there for the first time this year. The prices almost made me cringe. We're talking about a self-service beer garden here ☝️ Some of the drinks are more expensive than in other places with table service. The food 🤦 A simple sausage salad with bread for almost €11, no thanks. Absolutely too expensive for bad beer, draft wheat beer, a no-go. It's a shame, the kids would have fun, but it's too expensive 🤷 There are often 5-6 people behind the bar who have to be paid, 2-3 are working, and we still have to pay for the others 🤦

We had made a reservation for a group, but without any prior notice or arrangement, the place was simply closed upon arrival. We had to switch to another restaurant at short notice. A complete no-go.

Was there on Sunday to eat and actually enjoy it! The horrible tasting non-alcoholic wheat beer was adulterated with regular wheat beer/beer to create a foamy head! The currywurst wasn't that great tasting and the few fries that came with it were very thin (similar to McDonald's). Only the curry sauce is worth a star! And all of that for the very hefty price of 15 euros! You know why they don't display a price list! That was the last time I went there!

We had lunch there today; it was delicious and reasonably quick. The man at the cash register was very friendly, and we sat at one of the many tables in the shade under the trees. There's a playground for children right next door.

Disappointing, at least in terms of the food. Very average offerings of equally average quality. The supposedly homemade potato salad was, in my opinion, definitely from a bucket. I eat potato salad often enough on the go and can judge by that. The location in the Stadtgarten is quite idyllic. Not recommended.

Beer garden has a good location, food is good, prices are upscale (self-service), service 2 stars because of self-service.

The fries are delicious. The city park in Schwandorf is very beautiful.

Overall, the package is good: a very nice location, and the food and drinks are affordable. The only thing I would like is for the fries to be a little less salty.

Relatively small selection in April, but okay for the time of year. The highlight is of course the adventure playground right next to it.

Christmas market in Schwandorf. Nicely designed, I think the prices are a bit too high for our region. But the city park is definitely a better choice than the city center.

Wonderful ambience, the food is simply delicious and the regular staff is also very friendly. For me, the food has always come quickly, even when there was a lot going on. At first glance, I would describe the menu selection as “normal” snack food. However, the quality is significantly higher and therefore the prices are justified. Hopefully the quality can be maintained that way. From carnivorous plants to vegans, there is something for everyone. The new, really cool city park playground is the icing on the cake for a stay with kids. Only children's portions would be great!

There is also a small but nice offering for vegan diets that is well marked on the menu. We recommend.

Mega nice beer garden, the Ruhrpott (Bottrop) can take a big slice of it, it's so beautiful there, really great playground ;-) the children can play and the parents can sit comfortably, eat, drink and the children can let off steam to their heart's content , dogs are also welcome ❤️from me you not only get 5 stars but the biggest star in the world 😍

I can only agree with the positive reviews here. Since the new tenants came in, it has been very nice and pleasant here in the city park. The kiosk is always staffed with sufficient staff and there is no above-average waiting time - quite the opposite. There is often something fresh from the grill. We enjoy spending the day with our child at the newly designed playground, which will be expanded to include a few more attractions this summer. Or we can meet up in the evening for a cool drink or two ;-)

There is even vegan food here. The food is great and the atmosphere in the newly designed city park is really highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the potato soup at the Christmas market is a rip-off. A quarter ladle of potato soup and a mini loaf of bread for €8. It's a shame, the stand is very nice and the staff is friendly.

What the tenants have conjured up from the old kiosk is amazing. Gone are the days when the same wheat beer drinkers spent hours sipping on a wheat beer :-) The concept is fresh and innovative, the staff is on the ball and friendly. The prices that are often mentioned here can be attributed to the fact that regional food is purchased here and not cheap goods from wholesalers. I'm happy to pay a little more if I know that the sausages etc. come from the area! I like it and I can't understand the negative comments here. You just have to stay at home and eat and drink :-)

Has the best bratwursts and the fresh bread roll, just perfect. Try it out yourself.

The atmosphere is really nice, especially for families, as there is immediate opportunity to play. I was disappointed with the food yesterday, sweet potato fries just under €5 (it felt like 20 sticks) and normal fries were also rather sparse on the plate. The (griller) is absolutely overwhelmed. The drinks were ok because they were self-service.

Essen ist immer Super, Personal sehr freundlich. Gehen immer wieder gerne hin.

Schöne Einkehrmöglichkeit mit guten Speisen (der Obatzde könnte dem Einen oder Anderen zu „raß“ sein 😉). Personal ist freundlich. Gepflasterter Platz mit modernem Ambiente und Beschattung, also kein traditioneller Biergarten. Parken leider nur mit Fußweg verbunden möglich, also nicht unbedingt für Gehbehinderte geeignet. Insgesamt aber gut und empfehlenswert!

Das Essen wie Burger, oder auch der Salat sahen sehr gut aus. Meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Fast 20 Euro für einen Burger und ein paar Pommes. Die Bratwürste lagen wahrscheinlich schon eine Stunde auf dem Grill. Mein Flammkuchen war der totale Reinfall. Für 10 Euro sollte man annähernd satt werden. Geschmacklich war er auch eher mittelmäßig. Bierzapfen soll gelernt sein. So dass der Schaum auch hält.

Irre, was man aus dem Ort gemacht hat. Tolles Ambiente, gute Einrichtung, guter Service, rundum ein schöner Ort, um gemütlich zu verweilen.

Sehr schöner Biergarten und sehr freundliches Personal. Essensauswahl super für jeden was dabei auch vegane und vegetarische Gerichte. Einfach nur top Biergarten.

Schöner, einfacher Biergarten. Getränke gut. Essen auch ok. Wir waren schon oft da und wenn wir in Schwandorf sind und das Wetter es zulässt, wird der Biergarten aufgesucht.

Ein schöner Biergarten mit sehr flinken Personal.

Noch ist um den Biergarten eine Baustelle, man merkt aber jetzt schon wie toll der Ort sein wird! Wir hatten einen kleinen Snack und ein Radler während einer Radtour und wurden freundlich bedient!

Sind auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt gewesen. Hat uns gut gefallen. Nicht so groß und dafür um so persönlicher. 🤘

Leckere Speisen (Fingerfood) zu moderaten Preisen im Freien unter tollen Kastanienbäumen. Immer wieder gerne!

Für Familien, für Paare, für Junge, für Senioren. Für jeden eigentlich perfekt! Am besten wenn Open Air Kino ist. Vorher dort leckere Burger oder Flammkuchen essen und noch ein leckerer Longdrink dazu. Abends ist die Beleuchtung da so schön und in der Winterzeit ist echt super mit dem Ausschank. Eine Halloween-Party wäre noch das I-Tüpfelchen.....

Selbstbedienung... Tische könnten sauberer sein... Ansonst schön, dass es diesen Biergarten gibt !! Ich komme wieder!

Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal, schöner Biergarten mit tollen Spielplätzen direkt daneben. Perfekt für Familien mit kleinen und großen Kindern. Unsere 2 Jährigen konnten alleine rutschen der riesige Sandkasten lädt zum Buddeln ein. Leider nur 3 *, da die Toiletten-und Wickelsituation überraschend schlecht ist. Die Toiletten sind vergleichbar mit denen an Autobahn Parkplätzen (auch was Zustand und Sauberkeit betrifft), ich habe meinen Kindern auf der Wiese die Windeln gewechselt. Ohne Desinfektionsmittel für die eigenen Hände nicht zu benutzen. Es wäre toll, wenn da noch was passieren würde.

Tolles Personal, alles frisch zubereitet, vor allem sehr lecker.

Super Service beim super Open Air Kino-Abend

Really awesome, we stopped for a rest after driving back from Prague. It was a great Salad and great beer. The kids played at the playground, the dog ran through the park, and we all left ready to hit the road again.
