Trier calls itself a big city and doesn't manage to organize proper catering in the municipal indoor swimming pool. We have been there as a family at different times over the last 5 years. Bistro was almost always closed. Easy too. If it was ever open, unmotivated service and really poor quality. As a recommendation, the lifeguard once gave us sweets from the vending machine. Of course, this doesn't bother the regular guests - who take their trains and go home again. However, this is not an all-day treat for families. I'm reluctant to visit again.

They are there more often when things have to go quickly. Everything was very nicely prepared and tasty. The price/performance ratio is completely ok. There are plenty of delicious cakes to choose from and the coffee, which tastes very good, is particularly worth mentioning. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The renovation was very successful, we like to come back again and again.

Owner absolutely unfriendly. My girlfriend and I were approached with the words: ``Do you have any problems? Why are you looking so stupid? It's hard to beat his unprofessionalism, especially since he often makes a fool of passers-by. Don't even start with the prices.

Well, what can you expect if you just want to have a drink in the middle of the tourist center of Trier. Our Aperol Spritz were served without straws. The waitress wanted to bring us some straight away, but after that she wasn't seen again for a long time. After we drank the drinks without a straw and paid to 'our' waitress, she naturally kept the change as a tip without asking. It doesn't get any bolder than that!
