Bad-Bistro in Trier

Trier calls itself a big city and doesn't manage to organize proper catering in the municipal indoor swimming pool. We have been there as a family at different times over the last 5 years. Bistro was almost always closed. Easy too. If it was ever open, unmotivated service and really poor quality. As a recommendation, the lifeguard once gave us sweets from the vending machine. Of course, this doesn't bother the regular guests - who take their trains and go home again. However, this is not an all-day treat for families. I'm reluctant to visit again.

Today, unfortunately, I was served some of the worst fries in all of Trier, and what was served was still too much of a good thing! There were no clean tables. Okay, it's the holidays, but really, you can just quickly wipe a table! Delicious crispy fries at the public pool are a thing of the past! Next time, I'd rather go to the kebab shop around the corner; for €4, I can get a decent portion of crispy fries!

The staff is just as overwhelmed with 3 guests as with 20. You simply wait in vain to order, to pay, and so on. And when the order is finally taken, the employee comes back several times to ask exactly what you ordered instead of writing everything down right away.

Staff, well...the bill was too big, I had to pay with a card, and getting change to get drinks from the vending machine was not possible. I won't be back any time soon.

Sadly, my family and I (5 people, so five of us) ordered fries and currywurst and waited half an hour until it was ready. Drinks from the vending machine for 0.5 l were €2.50 and currywurst for €7.90, which was okay, but when the food came, I seemed a bit disappointed... 5 fries and half a sausage cut up and the price was unbelievable. I would advise anyone not to eat there, it's a rip-off, I'm really disappointed.

I often go there with my children. Great pool, clean, water temperature is just right, friendly staff. I'd love to come back next Sunday!

The staff should be paid double salary - 1 man for ordering & cashiering, for the kitchen, service, cleaning of tables and glasses and serving of drinks…the operator, on the other hand, should have his license revoked.

Today I was at the Trier public pool. Since it's vacation time, you have to spend time with the kids wisely. At 12:30 p.m., I got a little hungry, and as we all know, pool fries are the BEST. Unfortunately, they were out of "white" currywurst, and the shish kebab was also sold out. So, okay, two beef currywursts with fries and one chicken nugget with fries. Unfortunately, up until that point, I didn't know how to mess up such simple dishes. The fries hadn't even seen any salt. The beef sausage was anything but fried, and the curry sauce was anything but tasty (disgusting aftertaste). I threw my portion in the trash after the second bite because I didn't want to subject myself to that. The others felt the same way, but I was too hungry. I expressed my criticism to the staff, whereupon I was offered something else. Since my appetite had disappeared (I was still hungry), I politely declined. Dear bistro team, please correct this and stop serving this kind of food in the future. Otherwise, close the shop or hire staff who know how to prepare food.

I would prefer not to give a star. Staff unfriendly after you wanted to pay by card and this wasn't possible, the good lady became very rude. Sauce on the fries ice cold as well as the fries. Payment via card and chip is not possible. Personally, I think the price is a bit harsh for a Moor's head roll that costs €2.

Es handelt sich um ein Restaurant neben einen Biomarkt. Das ganze hat den Charme einer Kantine. Man ordert und bezahlt sein Essen an der Theke und geht dann mit einem Tablett zu einem zugewiesen Tisch. Der Platz war in der Nähe der geöffneten Tür und ein bisschen zugig. Das Essen war ganz toll dekoriert, aber leider nicht geschmacksintensiv und gewürzt. Auf Nachfrage gab es keine Abhilfe. Wir würden nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Immer mehrere Menüs zur Wahl - fleischlos - auch für Veganer etwas dabei und sehr schmackhaft anreichtet. Von Bestellung bis zum Servieren geht es recht zügig. Auch frisch gepresste Säfte und auch individuelle Saft-Wünsche können erfüllt werden.

Tout est dans le titre... Parfait pour manger en vitesse en visitant la ville. Des plats bio et vegan. On mange autour d'un grand comptoir. Seulement 5 plats : très frais.
