The prices for food and drinks that have now been quoted surprised me yesterday. I didn't expect €5.40 for half a liter of Äppler. The portion of green sauce with egg felt like it was only half as big as before, despite the price increase. The boiled potatoes that came with it were only lukewarm. The price/performance ratio no longer fits. Price increases are okay, but a simultaneous reduction in portion size does not exactly increase acceptance. The beer garden has also become less comfortable due to the untidy surroundings. The service was good. This development is really a shame.

I have nothing against maintaining traditions. The restaurant is just getting old and the tent in the courtyard and everything around it doesn't necessarily exude comfort. This definitely needs to be renovated, beautified and invested in. The food is ok, but nothing more. I see the prices for the food and drinks as being way too expensive. For this location you don't have to pay 6.50 euros for a 0.75 bottle of water and 5.50 euros for a 0.5 beer. The price-performance ratio doesn't suit me at all.

The beer was good as always. We have been going to Bier-Hannes regularly for years. Whether as a couple, with family or friends. We always appreciated the good, rich food and the excellent beer. This week five of us were guests in the beautiful beer garden and unfortunately a lot has changed. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great and had a lot of trouble. But unfortunately that's what we're experiencing in many places at the moment, so I don't want to go into it any further. What really bothered me personally was the really sharp increase in prices while the portions were reduced at the same time. I ordered a colorful Greek salad with feta cheese and olives. Under colorful I would have also expected tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers to be included. A green salad with around 8 olives and a few crumbs of sheep's cheese was served for the hefty price of EUR 16. Yes, I know everything is getting more expensive, but I also know the value of the food being offered to me. My companions had schnitzel with fries for almost EUR 20, ribs with cabbage and hand cheese (EUR 7). If the quality is good and the portions get bigger again, you might be able to get comfortable with the prices. In yesterday's case, I unfortunately have to say that the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The map has also shrunk a lot. Some dishes from the past no longer seem to be available.

All in all the beer is very good. Draft beer is recommended, but you can also purchase bottled beer to take away. The food seemed okay (Frankfurt cuisine), but there weren't enough staff in the kitchen. This is also communicated on the menu and therefore you have to expect very long waiting times, or "only" simple (cold) dishes can then be prepared. The service does its best to compensate for the lack of staff. In terms of ambience, it's ok, you're sitting in a beer garden, although the word garden is almost overrated, as there's little greenery and it's close to Hanauer Landstr. There is an open beer tent that extends over about half of the square, providing shade or protection from the rain. All in all, I was satisfied and will stop by again for a beer or two. 😉 ADDENDUM: When the beer garden isn't packed, everything works much better. The food is delicious, as is the beer (Pils), and the waiting times were significantly shorter. Just right if you like German cuisine. There is little vegetarian food.

The most Taiwanese-style German restaurant I have ever eaten in Frankfurt, the pork trotters are huge. (Supplement - each meal portion is very large)

Top address for delicious beer and German cuisine. The prices are still fair and more than reasonable. Hopefully the Hannes beer will stay with us for a long time, although there are also problems with staff here, which can sometimes be seen in the slimmed-down menu. Unfortunately, Sunday is the day of rest, which is a shame but ok. We always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately very much diminished. Delicious beer still and beer garden food has diminished. Food should be hot and not lukewarm. Service staff inattentive, more interested in checking cell phone messages.

Warm team. As a group of 13 people, we were provided with drinks very quickly and, after a reasonable amount of time, also with food. Eating more hearty, meat-heavy home cooking, but everything looked good and tasted good too. Delicious beer selection and cider from the Stier winery.

Discovered the beer Hannes at the Tesla Center today on June 21st, 2024. Since I had to wait, I ran over to grab some lunch. Had the liver dumpling soup and the brawn with fried potatoes and a side salad as well as a Zwickel Pils, the whole thing for €31.80. From the service to the ambience to the food, everything was absolutely authentic and a really good price/performance ratio. The brawn was perfectly seasoned. The soup was also really tasty. I would say it was homemade as written on the menu. I will definitely come back and hope that such institutions don't continue to die out. Thank you for the positive experience today...

The restaurant appeared to be family-run, and was crowded with locals. They were very accommodating to me, even though I was clearly an outsider. A male waiter was humming as he worked energetically. The local beer and German food were delicious. He spoke a little Japanese.

Heute ärgere ich mich sehr! Jägerschnitzel bestellt. Dazu gehört natürlich Soße... Der Teller kam, ich suchte die Soße. Ein bißchen unter einem Schnitzel. Worauf ich direkt um etwas mehr Soße gebeten habe. Kam auch separat... Schnitzel kostet 18.50€ Die "extra" Soße nochmal 5€ Frechheit!

The food is home-style. There were two smaller schnitzels with salad. The salad was rather okay, it lacked a little oomph but it was ok. The service was top and super friendly. The location is traditional with a nice beer garden. There are plenty of parking spaces right in front of the door.

That is not how it works ! Beer tastes like metal, even different types. When asked about this, the waitress says they have problems with the dishwasher... that's not possible! If you know that, you're not allowed to serve beer!

I was there tens of years ago, back in the days of the DM. In Frankfurt for work, there was a small hotel opposite. I always had dinner at Bier Hannes with one or two excellent beers. Nice to see that the restaurant still exists. It was really beautiful there. Nice greetings from Vienna

What a wonderful restaurant: original, authentic, down-to-earth. No fake lifestyle ambience, home-style cooking, the prices are right, parking in front of the house, original equipment from various guilds from times long past on the walls. In short: luckily time has stood still here. And that’s completely natural. Simply great!!! And the beer is really delicious! Like the food. Definitely go back!!!!

Had to go to town. So sweet and everything looked really good

This time the food was really not recommended! I've been here several times and the food is always good. But what was offered this time was just bad. The sauerkraut lasagna was icy cold. The defect was remedied by placing the plate in the microwave. The starter salad had no dressing and the schnitzel was too salty. The knuckle was mushy and not crispy, as usual. The waitress was arguing exceptionally loudly with a gentleman in the kitchen. By the way, we weren't the only ones who made our displeasure known this time.

Today I ate a Jäger schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad. 2 very small schnitzels, breading limp! Totally over-salted the hunter's sauce and 6 mini mushrooms! The salad was very good and freshly prepared! Staff very friendly and on point. If I were to eat here again it would only be the grilled pork knuckle!!!

In summer it is a good place to eat, in the cold months it isn’t, the local hasn’t changed the look the last 30 years. The worse point is they still on the philosophy “only cash is money” so you have to pay cash (yes in the year 2023). The food is ok but the service could improve.

Uhriges Frankfurter Restaurant, mit hausmacher Bier. Essen ist ok. Der Service ist sehr schlecht, langsam und MEGA unfreundlich.

Bier-Hannes ist eine ausgezeichnete Brasserie im Fruchtland. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Bieren und sie sind alle köstlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und freundlich. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Ich war das erste mal dort essen. Rustikales Ambiente. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Die Auswahl an Essen ist vollkommen okay. Gut bürgerliche Hausmannskost. Salat sehr lecker und frisch. Ich hatte das Jägerschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Schnitzel waren etwas kompakt, allerdings gut gewürzt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren gut gebraten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv.

Bei den Lammkoteletts haben die Knochen für meinen Hund gefehlt ☹

In Fechenheim gibt es nichts Vergleichbares.

Spontan dort eingekehrt zum essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, mit typisch Frankfurter Humor. Ambiente irgendwann stehen geblieben was aber nicht stört. Essen war schnell serviert und sowohl Qualitativ und Geschmacklich sehr lecker. Es hätten von den Beilagen bei meinem Mälzer Schnitzel etwas mehr sein können. Komme gerne wieder.

Gemütlich, eine supernette Bedienung! Trotz unseres Eintreffens zu später Stunde hat unsere Bedienung es noch geschafft die Küche zu überreden uns noch zwei Haxn zu machen. Sehr lecker - knusprige Kruste und für ganze Männer zum sattwerden. Überall wird über fehlendes Personal geklagt, die ganze Gastronomie leidet darunter. Aber auch wenn die Füße schmerzen - wir sind TOP bedient worden und können nur empfehlen beim Bier-Hannes einzukehren.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir Gäste im Bier-Hannes. Auch das hausgebraute Bier schmeckt sehr gut. Die sehr gute Service-Bewertung bezieht sich auf den sehr freundlichen und stets gästeorientierten Herrn Brahimir Pavic, der auch bei vollem Haus immer noch einen guten Sitzplatz findet.

Unfreundliche Bedienung, vertrocknete harte Roulade (das muss man erst mal schaffen). Frage nach Besichtigung des Sudhauses wurde wie folgt beantwortet: "Nein!!!" ................? Frage nach Pommes beim Mittagstisch wurde wie folgt beantwortet: "Nein, lohnt sich nicht für eine Person!" "W:" und wenn mehrere Personen Pommes nehmen?" "Nein, das macht der Koch nicht"! Schweigen ...............? Das Bier schmeckte schal und süßlich. Brauchen wir kein zweites Mal.

Wegen Personalmangel um 20Uhr keine warme Küche mehr...fand es schade, aber war mal so....gibt zum Nachdenken was zur Zeit in der Gastronomie so los ist..

Wir haben draußen im Biergarten gesessen. Der Biergarten befindet sich in einem Innenhof. Leider bekommt man doch einen Teil der Straßengeräusche mit. Ansonsten finde ich es gemütlich. Man wird sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft. Man bekommt hier Hessische und bayerische Küche. Neben dem Grundstück befindet sich ein Parkplatz. Wir werden auf jeden Fall hier wieder essen.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Essen ist aber gut.

Parkplätze nebendran, Service ist gut, auch wenns ein bisschen dauert, wenn viel los ist (aber alles im Rahmen.) Preislich in Ordnung und Essen so wie man es bei einem Biergarten erwartet. Schweinebraten und Rotkohl beides leider nur lauwarm gewesen, geschmacklich aber gut.

Es gibt immer zwei Seiten einer Geschichte...und manche kritischen Kommentare sind zu interpretieren. Es handelt sich beim Bier-Hannes um eine Wirtschaft nicht um ein Sterne-Restaurant. Die Essen sind eher däftig und gehen in Richtung Hausmannskost. Bei Qualität und Portionsgröße gibt es gar nichts zu beanstanden, wir waren alle absolut zufrieden. Das Bier ist für bayrische Geschmäcker ein wenig herb, aber und das ist das Wichtigste es schmeckt. Die Bedienung/Service wird dem eines Wirtshaus vollkommen gerecht....keine übertriebene Freundlichkeit aber aufmerksam und bemüht. Wir kommen, wenn wir in Kürze wieder in Frankfurt sind gerne wieder vorbei. Danke.

Erster Besuch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! entgegen der letzten für uns sehr überraschenden Kommentare von letztem Jahr waren alle Bedienungen super freundlich, herzlich und sehr auf Zack! Das war eigentlich der Haupt Anlass für mich, mal eine Bewertung hier zu hinterlassen weil es, wenn man hier kurz reinliest, dem aktuellen Stand definitiv nicht gerecht wird. Das essen war zünftig und die Portionen ordentlich. die hausgemachte Leberknödelsuppe war wirklich hervorragend!!! Beim Bier hat mir das Zwickel Pils besser als das aktuell saisonale bayrisch hell geschmeckt. Im Biergarten sitzt man gut, entweder ganz frei oder unter einem großen offenen Zelt. Genug Platz und auch bei Regen gut!
