He's honestly reliable and they're super nice. Some of the comments about the meat being cold are true, but thankfully that's not an everyday occurrence.

What can I say... The doner kebab isn't even mediocre. I went there at night, as it's pretty much the only option in the middle of the week (unfortunately), and I'm disappointed. I ordered a large doner kebab (9 euros) with feta cheese (+0.50 cents). I got a doner kebab (if you can call it that) that was only half full. They skimped on the sauces, and you get a very meager portion. The bread is soggy and lacks stability. You pay 50 cents more for feta cheese, and what do you get? ... Two small strips of feta cheese. They could have saved themselves that. I initially wanted to get veal, but after a second look at the "veal skewer," I realized I should probably go for the chicken version (which is a bit better). As far as I can see, the "veal skewer" is a skewer of minced meat. It doesn't have a proper shape and looks like you'd get Argeta in your kebab. Conclusion: I wasn't full, the kebab was awful, and I'm definitely NOT coming back.

Delicious and good bread, and that's the best part of the kebab! The meat isn't very flavorful—it doesn't taste good, the tzatziki is okay, and the cocktail sauce is terrible. The salad is fresh, but overall, it's a rather poor kebab! A real shame.

Clean, friendly, and child-friendly. I went to Bey Food Döner at the main train station and was completely satisfied. The kebab was super delicious and the meat was well-seasoned, the bread was fresh and crispy, and the vegetables were crunchy. The sauces, in particular, were perfectly balanced. The people are way too rude they don't have sense to how to speak to there customers i asked for a chicken doner they told me they don't have one but they had the full chicken roll available so i asked them what is this for so they laughed and said this is not good they are so racist this is not the first time of them being this rude previously when i paid for the big doner bread they take the payment of the big one but give me the smaller one when i came home i had to sleep hungry because i was so tired i can't make anything and the bread was so small it didn't complete my hunger they are so racist never go there i mean we are not getting anything for free i order doner for my all family members and pay than what's the issue why they behave like that it is not for free i paid whats the issue than please don't go there

Stay away from the currywurst. The shop itself makes a good impression. My expectations for a currywurst from a kebab shop weren't high. But when the seller poured the supposed "curry sauce" into a cup to heat in the microwave, I knew I'd made the wrong choice. He didn't have any curry powder either, so the "curry"wurst remained a pressed piece of something with a runny, lukewarm, unidentifiable sauce. I admit I'm partly to blame, but I still don't understand how they can offer the classic dish in such a disrespectful manner. P.S. The fries were also oversalted.

The kebab could be really good... - Plus point: The hot sauce. It's different than in other stores. It's really spicy and tastes good. - Minus point: The meat was completely cold and the parts that weren't brown were also cut. So the meat was really cold, it wasn't even lukewarm. That - I think - doesn't work at all. You should at least make it hot before ordering... Would I come back? If the meat wasn't absolutely cold, it would be. But who knows. There doesn't seem to be much effort...

Took 2 Lamacuns here. For €8.50 per piece I would have expected more content and sauce. Otherwise very tasty.

The chicken doner was absolutely delicious! 🥙 The meat and sauce were particularly tasty. It was a very generous portion and also quite spicy (if you like it!). The only thing that could be improved is the ambiance (which is why I didn't have such high expectations).

Just ate there for the first time. For the meal, I thought the kebab bag for €7 was a decent portion. The meat was delicious as were the side dishes and sauces. With the exception of the curry sauce, which wasn't quite my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean it doesn't taste good. I might have a little advice, maybe smear the sauces into the flatbread first and then fill it with everything, because it was a bit of a mess while eating as the sauce flowed everywhere. The staff was super welcoming and nice and I will probably come by more often after work. All in all, I inhaled the kebab and enjoyed it :D

One of the worst Dürüms I have ever eaten in my life. This shop probably only survives because of its location due to its proximity to Essen main station. I can't recommend it at all. Meat bland, salad little, sauces strange. In addition, the ends of the Dürüm were left open and only "kinked" using aluminum foil. That made a mess while eating. Positive: You can pay with card/Google Pay.

Mamu is simply the best man, the staff is really nice and the kebab tastes really, really good. Tender meat, good bread, easy to recommend

I lived in Essen from 2008 to 2009 and during that time I regularly ate kebab at the main train station. Things looked a little different back then. The station building had been recently renovated in anticipation of the European Capital of Culture exhibition. Everything somehow had the charm of an unfinished construction site. Even today you have the feeling that everything is changing. Galeria Kaufhof has closed, the construction pit at the Postbank blocks access to the pedestrian zone. It sounds bitter, but the city seems to be concreted over and built up. I still go to Essen every now and then. Doner kebab is only available at BeyFood. Nowhere does the meat taste like it does here, really nowhere. For over 15 years, the food here has had a recognition value that I otherwise only know from the Bratwursthaus in Bochum. The shop is an original. Hopefully he NEVER shuts down. There are photos on the walls from the immediate area from many, many years ago. The chairs are carved from materials from the station before its restoration. The legendary yogurt sauce is unbeatably delicious. Great shed :)

Far too expensive, the kebab feels empty and in my opinion the meat doesn't taste good either. (I didn't ask for more meat I'm just unhappy with your food which is a total rip off, you can get more for less money elsewhere)

For normal German tastes and non-connoisseurs, it might be ok for us, an Italian Arab family who ate there with 6 people and also had plans for Turkish/Arabic/Oriental. The kitchen wasn't that great: the bread fell apart, the meat was covered in spices and flavor enhancers. Ordered 2 x Dürum and 4 kebab pockets.. the meat didn't have a good consistency. Falafel also has nothing to do with the original recipe, which is not exactly easy to make by hand. No competition to the “Haus des Döner” or the “Döna” on Rüttenscheiderstrasse and other good kebab shops. The entire facility doesn't invite you to sit comfortably...sorry but that was nothing Fair 3 stars from us so as not to cause any major damage, actually 2 🌟 would be ok.

Absolutely top notch, and has been for many years. Always the same super great quality, especially recommended Were there again yesterday, usually twice a month, and of course the food and the very friendly, competent staff were great again. Simply enjoyable, I can only recommend it

Sehr leckerer Döner, Mitarbeiter immer freundlich und schnell, brauch mittlerweile schon nichts mehr sagen zu meiner Bestellung, ich werde gesehen und sofort der Große Döner hingelegt, sogar die Zutaten meines Döners haben sich die freundlichen Mitarbeiter gemerkt. Von daher Klare Empfehlung, alles Tip Top.

Der kleine Mitarbeiter aus der Spätschicht ist unfreundlich und faul. Der größere Mitarbeiter von letzter Woche ist dagegen viel motivierter gewesen.

Meine Lieblingsdönerstation - vor allem Döner mit scharfer Soße esse ich hier sehr gern. Je nach Ansturm gibt es schon mal eine etwas längere Wartezeit, aber das nehme ich gern in Kauf.

Alles katastrophal. Vermeidet diesen Dönerladen. Ich weiß nicht warum, aber bei 6,50€ erwarte ich einen Döner mit etwas Fleisch. Stattdessen habe ich 1/4 Portion bekommen. Zudem wurde mir nachdem ich auf die extrem wenige Menge von Fleisch aufmerksam gemacht habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass das Brot voll mit Fleisch sei. Denken Sie, dass alle, die am Wochenende Döner bestellen so besoffen sind, dass es ihnen nicht auffällt? Finde ich sehr unfair. Kam jedes Mal vor. Nächstes Mal verhungere ich lieber.

Döner ist soweit solide, kann man essen. Entweder Kalb oder Hähnchen, wobei Kalb eben Hackfleisch ist. Bedienung ist freundlich, Laden auch sauber. Preise haben angezogen, aber wie eben überall.

Super Dönerladen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich alles ist sauber und der Döner ist vom super qualität. Sind sogar draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Ich hatte einen Falafel Dürüm. Fladen und Falafel Industrie Ware aber lecker. Alles war frisch. Produktion und Küche machen einen sauberen Eindruck. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wenn ich mal in Essen bin ist ein Döner hier ein muss. Personal sehr freundlich, schnelle Bedienung. Der Döner ist immer lecker, gut gewürzt. Leider ist in der letzten Zeit, schon zum zweiten mal, wenig Fleisch drinn. Das die Preise zugelegt haben ist normal....es hat halt überall angezogen.

Hat leider an Qualität verloren. Früher fand ich den Döner für einen Döner nachts am Hbf schon echt sehr gut - aber in den letzten Wochen wurden die Portionen kleiner, das Fleisch war teilweise nicht mal richtig durch und das Fladenbrot war nicht mal zur Hälfte gefüllt. Die Mitarbeiter sind aber sehr nett und man bekommt sein Essen meist schnell, dennoch sollte man bitte wieder mehr Wert auf die Qualität legen 👆🏼

Wenn die anderen Imbisse schließen und man doch noch Hunger hat.... Hier war die Rettung. Freitag Abend 23:30... Meine Frau und ich waren im Kino und auf dem Weg nach Hause.. Die A40 aus Richtung Bochum... Essen City raus und Richtung HBF in der Hoffnung auf einen Imbiss der noch offen hat... In Essen eher ein Glücksfall... Wir entdeckten Bey Food. Ambiente: klein, voll, laut... egal wir haben Hunger und probieren es. Service: Nette Mitarbeiter und trotzt Stress behalten sie den Überblick. Essen: Der Dönerteller war sehr üppig, der PomDöner ging auch mit Reis und war auch gut gefüllt. Beides war echt lecker und wir haben es genossen. Preis: Günstiges Innenstadtniveau, zusammen 18€. Klare Empfehlung, auch als Rettung in der Nacht.

Kleiner aber feiner Imbiss mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, die einen zügig bedienen. Wir hatten 1 PomDöner und 1 XL Döner mit Extra-Fleisch zum Mitnehmen -> der Laden würde aber auch ein paar Sitzplätze draußen vor der Tür bieten. An sich sehr lecker, in der ganzen Hektik und bei dem Trubel hat der Verkäufer nur leider den extra dazu-bestellten (und bezahlten) Käse vergessen :-( Kann man passieren, von daher kein Stern Abzug. Ärgerlich war es trotzdem.

Als ich das "Fleisch" gesehen habe musste ich 3 mal hinschauen um zu wissen dass, das es um einen "Dönerspieß" handelt. Der "Dönerspieß" besteht mit viel Phantasie aus 60% Hackfleisch, wenn überhaupt aus 60% Hackfleisch. Beim ersten Biss habe ich einen Kotzreiß verspürt. Ungenießbar und nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Hut ab, an die Leute die zum 2ten mal dort hin gehen...

Döner hat leider nach Papier geschmeckt. Ungenießbar und der Schlechteste Döner den ich je essen musste. Ich hatte das Döner Menü für 10€ mit Pommes und Getränk und die Pommes war das leckerste von allem.

Der leckerste Döner den ich je gegessen habe. Kam nach einer langen fahrt aus der Schweiz an. Normalerweise esse ich in der Schweiz keinen Döner ( schmeckt bei uns nicht so gut ) Dieser Döner jedoch war super lecker ! Frische Zutaten, leckere Sauce. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an euch dafür !

Essen super, Mitarbeiter freundlich. Der Stern abzug ist für den Chef. Der redet mit einem Ton aus der Steinzeit mit seinen Mitarbeitern und profiliert sich auf deren Kosten. Wenn der da ist betrete ich den Laden nicht mehr, sonst rege mich nur auf.
