Very good kebab plate that I will eat again and again. Turkish pizza is good but unfortunately the taste of the paste is so dominant that you can't actually taste much of the kebab meat. Overall, one of the best kebab shops I know!

They are professionals and “go-out people” at Rüttenscheider Stern who are used to and tried and tested. Looks a bit bare and desolate at night, but they are prepared for the many drunks and have put away everything that is mobile. You can still eat well here late.

I came from Istanbul as a tourist, I stopped by upon recommendation and ate German-style doner kebab, it was very successful, satisfying and delicious, the employees were friendly, they immediately bought me tea.. thank you..

I just ordered veal kebab with something spicy. I didn't mention a word about Extremely Sharp. Unfortunately my kebab was simply inedible and extremely 100 times spicy. I don't know what level of spiciness it was, but no Indian would have endured that. I just have heartburn all day. Then we charged €6 for uludag and coke. I'd love to come back but please throw away the powder.

The food was okay, but I wasn't particularly impressed. The prices are way too high for what you get. The portion of meat in the kebab pocket was too small - it was more salad than meat. However, the salad was fresh. A positive highlight is the very friendly service!

Meat was very tasty. Good quality and great taste. Unfortunately, the bread was too crusty and broke while eating. Please also cut the lettuce smaller, the large pieces of cucumber and tomato were a bit annoying. I would also recommend without sauces because meat is very juicy and tender. This kebab doesn't need any sauces.

Unfortunately, for my taste, the kebab wasn't as good as previous speakers described. For me, the meat had a bit of gristle in it, and I didn't like the sauce either (which, again, is subjective). The bread was good.

It is a nice Doner shop in Germany. They have very friendly staff, with smile, and helpful. Service is very fast. Price-quality ratio is very good. You can easily fill your stomach here with just a little. Large portions, with lots of meat in them. Taste is also very good. It also has a cozy atmosphere.

Best kebab I know. Quality and price absolutely in harmony. Been coming for years and have never been disappointed. Update 10/2022: seems to be a new owner. Prices increased (I can live with that) Portions now significantly smaller. Seems to be different meat now too. Due to the poorer quality and smaller portions, it is no longer a good price-performance ratio. I won't go there anymore. Too bad. Update 11/2024: tried again. Tastes good. Still small, little salad and expensive. Too bad.

The taste of the kebab is okay. I found it much better a few years ago. The price is official, way too expensive.. For the price you get a children's kebab, the ingredients seem to have been counted out. Unfortunately, I think the business only survives because of the location and its good reputation at the time by being named the best/one of the best kebabs in Essen. The lahmacun tasted disgusting - but of course that can be a matter of taste. Location is good, there are plenty of seats. But I don't understand why so many employees are behind the counter. Addition: I ordered tavuk sis. I don't know what I expected. The seasoning of the meat skewer was quite good, but the skewers were fried in the pan and the consistency wasn't the best. Already on the chewy side. If you compare that with an ocakbasi, there is a world of difference (also in terms of quality). If you compare it in terms of price, where somewhere else you have two thin flatbreads with you and everything including vegetables comes from the charcoal grill.. The skewers were also on top of the fries, which were already mostly soaked like currywurst sauce. So Orkide has potential, but people just don't think about it? Certainly different in the restaurant. But if deliveries are offered, at least put some thought into the composition in the food bowl. Too bad. The overall experience just doesn't fit here.
