Benji's Birdhouse in Ramstein-Miesenbach

We were there for the first time today. I have to say the young man who served us was really very friendly ❤️ Food, a lot and not manageable, I found it too expensive for the money. There were three chicken pieces and water puree... I'd rather have a little less and more real mashed potatoes or fries, which I really missed... Everything is tailored to the Americans, the portions are way too big, the drinks are too big, the main thing is a lot and in abundance ??? There’s enough being thrown away! Can't understand this principle 😔 it's time to rethink a bit. I saw what went back, most people can't do that. What annoyed me the most was that everything was in English, not a single menu was in German, 👎as a reminder, where do we live? Of course we are glad that we have the nice Americans, otherwise there wouldn't be many shops, but hello, we're still here, what's the problem with printing 2 cards in German? Honestly, for me that's a reason not to go! They probably don't need our money! Because you don't feel welcome. I would have left again if it wasn't for my boyfriend. My friend's burger was delicious.

Dry overcooked chicken. Do not recommend, long wait for disappointing food. It used to be good but food quality has gone downhill the last few months.

Had to try this place because of its popularity. I dislike how there is no option for sandwiches only. I'm here for some chicken sandwiches not for fries. Or there could've been an option to substitute them for some salad/coleslaw or something healthier. Sandwiches were good. The batter was not too think so the portion of meat was decent. Sauces tasted good as well. I see why this is a go to place for a lot of folks. Pricewise.... probably won't come back though because I felt like I wasted my money for those unwanted fries and food.

I ate here for the first time on 29.11.2024 with my husband. The dining area was very nice and clean. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. I couldn’t decide between the Cobb Salad and the shrimp but I ended up ordering the shrimp platter. It was delicious. Everything was perfect and the portion sizes were in line with the prices. I like that every entree is customizable to your preferred spice level. I definitely recommend Benji’s Birdhouse especially since it’s nice to have an alternative to the usual restaurants in the area that are in abundance with the same there cuisines. Please make 1 shake option that is vegan or dairy free!

I went to Benji's Birdhouse recently and I absolutely do not regret going. I had ordered a homestyle sando with smack sauce and it was delicious.

Had a nice relaxing experience with great food. The chicken here is delicious and the service is on point. Will be going back again!

We came there Thanksgiving Day, there were 2 tables. We were told as a party of 2 that we needed a reservation since they were having their Thanksgiving dinner. This was never listed on the Facebook page that you needed to make a reservation. It says they would like for you too, but as space permits they can accommodate and it isn't necessary. However, we were turned away. So, we spent our Thanksgiving at the restaurant across the street. Great service over there. Very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Viva La vida Update! I received such a generous response back from whomever is in charge of responding to these reviews. Disgusting character if you ask me. They can't take honest criticism. There were once again 2 tables in there when we arrived. Reservation was recommended but still only an option. "I walked in expecting them to give up someone else's seat" false, there were not but once again 2 tables and servers standing around talking. It was said you could still be seated if there was availability & there clearly was. The unprofessionalism shows. I was called KAREN, my name is Kaelie. You thought you ate? Grow up. :)

I love your food, but I’ll definitely be coming back for the milkshakes. My favorite is the Oreo one, though honestly, they all are so delicious! The girl who makes them is truly talented!

Can we HAVE better chicken? NO!! Benji’s buttermilk chicken is the BEST!!!! This is not a fast food restaurant but it is sooooo worth the time they take to bring your order out. Get the spicy buffalo appetizer as that one comes out quick but do share. It is delicious and you will want to eat it all. Enjoy your time here. The portions are very plentiful but incredible. We came once and my daughter even request this place every time she gets a chance. Also, remember that they do take reservations and some days it is better to make one because it is never empty. All of Benji’s are very good. Try them all.

Went there for the first time as some of my friends have been telling me to do and it surely did not disappoint. I had the Honey BBQ chicken, and it’s pretty amazing; Pack of flavors. I also would like to note in that they have some games by their tables, like UNO cards, jenga, Exploding kittens, etc. those were great to have, as it elevated our dining experience. It helped us pass time while waiting, not many restaurants have those😊

If you are in need of some Nashville hot chicken, this is the spot. The chicken sando is outstanding and so are the waffle fries. If you have any room left, try one of their delicious milkshakes.

We have never had a bad experience here except for tonight in particular. We called ahead for takeout (we ordered two meals, one appetizer and two milkshakes) and were told our order would be ready in 15 minutes, being that we live 35 minutes away we expected our order to be ready by the time we got there and ontop of that we had a couple of errands to run before picking it up… When we arrived to pick up our food we were missing one of our entrees and were given something we did not order. I told the waitress we received something we didn’t order and were missing a meal and she explained that it was still being cooked which is understandable, so we waited another 15 minutes for our second meal. Once they brought our second meal out I apologized reminded them that we also ordered two shakes because they told us goodbye like we received our entire order. We then waited another 10 minutes for our shakes only for my husband to overhear them clearly talking mess about us not receiving our entire order when it’s not our fault it was given to us incorrectly in the first place? So yeah, we usually have such a good experience dining in or ordering takeout but tonight was not it.

The Bird House has become a staple, not only for my household, but for my soldiers and unit as well. My previous duty station was just outside of Nashville, so coming to Germany and finding a place that does “Nashville Hot” just as well as the original is so nice. And the staff is always incredible. Any time there has been even the slightest issue, Nikola and Ivan have always made sure we were taken care of. I have friends and family back in the states planning to visit, and already talk about going to The Bird House just from the pictures I show them and what I tell them about the restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

1st time here. I was impressed with the staffs quick acknowledgment of us when entering. Our food arrived fairly quickly and was flavorful. I did not care for the fries only because I like mine crispy, I'm sure if I requested them cooked that way, they would have obliged.

Love their new location, nice and open. Staff was great and the mashed potato bowl was really good, the potatoes are really silky and everything comes together really nicely. Great sized sandwiches and Buffalo dip is great. Drinks are okay but overall great time.

Not easily impressed and rarely leave a review but I thoroughly Enjoyed it all! The Californian Cob salad was very satisfying and the Mozzarella sticks were outrageously Perfect! Fairly priced and Decent staff! Thankyou

I had an amazing experience at Benji’s Birdhouse! If you're a fan of spicy food, you have to try the Nashville Sando. I ordered the "hot," and let me tell you—it was HOT! If you love heat like I do, you might want to go for the "blazing," but if you're sensitive to spice, the OG might be a better fit. The flavors were on point, and the chicken was perfectly crispy. I also tried the Southern Comfort Bowl, and the standout for me was definitely the biscuit with honey butter on top. The biscuit was warm, fluffy, and that honey butter? Absolutely divine! The only thing I’d change is adding a bit more seasoning to the potatoes, but overall, it was still a solid dish. The environment at Benji’s is great too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and most people seemed to prefer the patio, which had a nice vibe. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Waitress had perfect English, super sweet and great service! Food was amazing and the banana pudding milkshake was phenomenal!

Had the Home style Sando chicken sandwich which allowed me to taste the chicken and determine if it was seasoned properly. They didn't disappoint, chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy to perfection on the outside. I will be back.

This place was just really nice. Love the patio dining and music. Very laid back and enjoyable, and the food is excellent too! I had the Nashville Sando (Hot) and my wife had the Korean BBQ. Both tasty with nice portion sizes. Will definitely come back.

this place is quite impressive nice decor, price a bit high but the portion size and quality make it worth while. I would make this a positive destination place. chicken sandwiches are crispy and I chose the spiciest. lemonade is tasty but small, frosted lemon was fantastic ice-cream lemon tasty treat. I strongly approve this place.

Incredibly long wait to take order and to wait for food. Waited 12 mins for our order to be taken and 37 min wait for our food(yes I timed it). They were out of lemonade which was the only thing I enjoyed. I haven’t found anything I like on the menu. The chicken is so greasy and fattening and the milkshakes aren’t good. Don’t recommend.

We just love this restaurant! The service is always excellent, making every visit a pleasure. The food is fantastic and always made with top quality ingredients that never disappoint. As fans of spicy food, it's nice to have a place that hits just the right level of spiciness that we like. Since they changed location, it's especially nice to sit outside in summer and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. We recommend!

Our first time visit and we loved it. Food was delicious and the service was great. Fair prices. Cool atmosphere. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but it worked out. We would definitely recommend.

Some good chicken meals! A little pricey for what it is though, especially the drinks.

If fried chicken tenders and brioche bread is what you want, this is the place to go. They do have other offerings, but this is the crux of the menu. Sinfully good food, served quickly and hot. Portions are massive so you will not leave hungry. Parking is limited and reservations are recommended as the place is full from opening to closing time.

Nice atmosphere, very polite and attentive staff members. The portions are huge. If you are not usually a person to eat spicy food, I would definitely recommend not going past the „hot“ version of any dish. I recommend everyone to come and try this place out you will not regret it.

I ate there for the first time yesterday and it tasted great, €20 for a sauce, a chicken burger with waffle fries and a 0.5l cola is really a great price. The waiters spoke both German and English and were super nice.

I got the strawberry shortcake milkshake. I was disappointed because the only flavor I got was the strawberry syrup. I was expecting at least some cake but there was none. The Buffalo chicken dip was good. It came with deep fried tortilla chips. Other people with me got the honey chicken sandwich. They liked it. Too heavy on the sauce for my taste. I wanna come back to try the Nashville sandwich. Will not get a milkshake again

If you’re in or around the Ramstein area you have to go here. One of my favorite restaurants ever and routinely went while I was in Germany. I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken dip appetizer, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and biscoff cookie milkshake to top it all off. Easy 5/5

Very delicious restaurant, the Korean chicken sandwich was a 10/10! The only issue with the new location is the parking lot! Parking in their lot is an absolute nightmare. The gravel is extremely sharp and if you’re in sandals think again. My toddler was holding my hand walking out of the restaurant and slipped, and his knee and shin were all cut up. If you’re handicapped or have a stroller this is not a good place to park. Gravel also flies off tires when cars back out, so if you’re in the lot watch your eyes and shins. I wish some of the larger stones could be removed.

BIRDHOUSE IS DELICIOUS 😋 That shmack sauce is so good for dipping my fries!. I have never had a banana pudding milkshake. So I tried it and let me tell you if you love banana pudding, you are going to love the shake. Definitely our chicken sandwich spot!. Customer service was excellent 👌🏽.

Benji’s Birdhouse never disappoints!!! The new location is so cute, the staff are always nice, and they are always expanding their menu. Looking forward to coming back when the outdoor seating is open too! 🥰

The “OG” chicken sandwich with pickles and sauce gives off a similar vibe as Chick Fil A. They even make waffle fries. The new location is a much better layout than the original location down the road.

The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes of the dishes, making it a great value for money, we left restaurant with full stomachs and happy hearts.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I made a reservation for two adults with one child and requested a high chair. The table placed us at put our daughter below the table. When we asked if we could be seated somewhere else, they told us it would be another 35-minute wait. The staff seemed not to care very much. Everything was very sticky and dirty in the waiting area. I can't comment on the food as we left and went to the restaurant downstairs stairs. Now that is the place to go to Liami!!!

I dined at Benji’s Birdhouse this week and had a great experience. I had the homestyle classic and a Banana Milkshake, and I can say it was beyond perfect. The service was also very friendly and attentive. It was pretty busy when we went in, but they managed to seat us, and the food came out really fast. I would definitely recommend it for family time or a date night.

I have always like going here until today. We showed up as soon as they opened. Only us and another couple. Then customers started coming in and we noticed that we sat here for almost an hour and no food. I don't give reviews based on color, but this time, I will. All the white people that came in AFTER us were getting their food. I went up to the young lady that took our order and asked why our food was taking so long and she gave and me some cakamamey story about the order Machine being down and they have to write the orders by hand. Well if we were here before EVERYBODY, why are ALL those who came AFTER us being served. Very very poor customer service. You might have a bigger facility and raised the price of your food - no problem there. But your service has gone down in the toilet. Disappointed😡😡 Don't think we will be back. Sloppy service is a huge deterrent for us, no matter how good your food is.

Outstanding fried chicken and cocktail restaurant in Ramstein-Misenbach. Many varieties and flavors of fried chicken tossed in various sauces including a housemade Korean sauce. Everything from chicken strips to chicken sandwiches and salads, you won't go wrong.

Great food, nice place I’d recommend a reservation since the place isn’t that big but I didn’t have one and they fit me in when it wasn’t busy. It’s a bit pricey but you’ll be leaving really full and satisfied. About 50€ for 2 people, with shakes.

I would like to say that this is probably one of my favorite food spots I have found so far. The food was amazing tasting and the prices were not to bad. We started with the Buffalo chicken dip and chips and man oh man it was good and would recommend. I got the Nashville hot and had great heat to it. The bun was soft and fluffy and my wife got a salad special that's not on the menu. Kids got nuggets. The oreo milkshake tastes amazing. One of the best milkshake I have ever tried. We also got the peaches and cream and it had peaches mixed in it. My wife also got this raspberry cran drink that tasted as good as it looked. Would recommend.

Visited our son and DIL for Christmas and finally getting around to writing my reviews. This is a fav of theirs and the chicken sandwiches were tasty. We all got something different and all were delicious. I got the buffalo one, and while it was a bit messy it had great flavor. And 10 stars for the fries!!
