Up until now, we've always been extremely satisfied when eating there. Recently, we ordered takeout for the first time. The shake wasn't ready, no big deal. One biscuit was missing, all good. It was very busy, and we understood that too. But when we opened our food in Mackenbach, the meat was missing from both bowls. So, disgruntled, we went back to Ramstein. No apology, no compensation, just the explanation that it was very busy. The owner also seemed a bit overwhelmed. A side note: if waffle fries are on the menu, they should at least mention if they're out. A shame.

We stopped there spontaneously while passing through – and were absolutely delighted! The price-performance ratio was fantastic, the burgers were delicious and freshly prepared. The food was sooo good. A taste of the states. Full of flavors and large portions. We tried the kids nuggets, Southern comfort bowl, and the Hot Honey Sando. My family will be coming back again. For kids, they have a small toy area and highchairs. The staff was friendly and the wait times for our table and for our food were short.

We ordered milkshakes, BBQ Sando and chicken tenders and were very satisfied; the server Leann was also super nice!

Honestly, the food is just normal, just fried chicken, fried food, nothing special. Service is not even a star for me, as I used to go to places where the attention is good. Also, as soon as we finished the food, we started getting the checks to the table, I think it is so disrespectful. And the server came like 10 times asking me for pay, and I had to say no, I am paying when I know I want nothing else, and I decided to leave. I requested a Lavender spritz, and I truly like it.

This place reminded us of a place in Florida. The portion sizes were a lot bigger than we thought. We reviewed this place before we came, read the good and bad, so we got a feel for the place; and honestly we couldn’t figure out what these people who had bad reviews were talking about. We don’t eat this kind of food often but now when we do, this is the place we will come too. I had the tenders with jalapeno ranch and some other sauce i forgot but it resembles the raising canes sauce, but better. My husband got the home style classic and he loved it except the cheese wasn’t melted on it he gave it a 4/5. We also had the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and this honestly sold us in the beginning and just got better from there. And the cocktails were good I had the spicy mango cocktail and the strawberry bae, i preferred the spicy mango more but either way both were good.

Top notch service and food! Ask them to cater a promotion party and they out did themselves! Everything was so delicious and everyone was asking who catered the food. We had the OG, BBq, hot honey, Korean BBQ, the dip and chips, biscuits, Fries mozzarella sticks and all the fixings! Excellent food! Next time I will have to remember to get takeout menus! Thanks to Amir and his amazing staff it was a great success. Definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. The burgers are definitely the best choice: juicy, well-seasoned, and well-topped. We would have preferred the plain popcorn chicken to be a bit more breaded. Nice experience.

Juicy, crispy, subtly spicy: the tender loving plate in a giant portion… all good Benji’s come in threes… Birria, Burrito, Birds… the little USA trip without flying, not far from the air base… love it!

The food is definitely not worth the money. We had various things like... mozzarella sticks, which were okay, the salad was okay, BUT all the meat was simply fried too long or too dark, whether it was the meat on the burgers or the tenders. To us, it looked like the oil needed to be changed again. The service was good/friendly. All in all, it wasn't worth the money, and we were disappointed.

Was my first visit to Benji’s Birdhouse. I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious patio. I liked that it is nestled against a bit of forest - made for a relaxing and more cool space. I was with a larger party and Leann was our server. Truly - our server made the experience for me. Don’t get me wrong, the food was bomb. BUT, Leann - your kindness and hard work was noticed from the moment you greeted me. Thank you so much for taking care of our large party - with to-go orders, making sure we got everything we needed, and checking on us, while also managing several other tables. I also appreciated that she gave us a ‘last call for shakes/food’. Leann, It was a pleasure to meet you 😇 For my food order I got the mozzarella sticks with the house, ranch - DELICIOUS For my main I had the tenders plate with waffle fries, coleslaw, and a biscuit. I Try the house sauce - you won’t regret it!

The chicken sandwich was mediocre. I even tried both the buffalo and hot honey in case the first was just the wrong choice.. no luck, both were underwhelming. The bun was a big disappointment, and honestly, Popeyes makes a better chicken sandwich. The milkshake, though, was absolutely phenomenal.

We placed a to go order, and because the servers didn't feel like looking out the kitchen to the to-go waiting room, we were left waiting for an hour for our food. Did it take them an hour to make it? No. So we left with luke warm food that was soggy by the time we got to eat it. So if you're getting a to go order, make sure to ring the bell every 10 minutes to get them to check on your food. The person who finally got us our food offered to get us drinks; we declined because we were already very late to a previously made engagement. We have been to this location before and gotten to-go orders before, and never had this problem. Because of this, we probably won't come back unless we are invited by other friends and are eating inside the restaurant.

Anyone who loves chicken is in the right place here. In my opinion, there's no better place in and around K-town.

Great chicken sandwich place! True comfort food! Mozzarella stick appetizers will fill you up on their own! The chicken bowl is a bowl full of happiness. Mashed potatoes, chicken, gravy, yum! The portions are huge, and the shakes are amazing. Spicy means spicy, though! You won't regret eating here.

Great food: fried chicken breast and chicken burgers in all sorts of variations! Prices are absolutely reasonable for the quantity and quality. Even during quieter times, the restaurant is really busy. Some of the waitresses only speak English, so you'll have to figure that out ;) You pack your own leftovers, which I think is a good idea, but you also had to figure that out. We ordered the Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip with homemade nachos, as many here recommend (I've rarely experienced that here in Germany), and we were very impressed. The rest, which we ordered from across the menu, was also very tasty. You can also change the chicken pieces to Beyond Meat for an additional charge. We ordered a shake for the kids, and instead of three straws, we got three small, identical shakes – that's what I call great service and 100% kid-friendly!

Everything I have tried so far at the Benjies is phenomenal! Love their Cheesy Buffalo chicken dip, as a delicious starter appetizer. The California Cobb salad is pretty good and of course their famous chicken sandwiches will make you want to come back here to eat and enjoy. Try the Nashville Sandro sandwich and enjoy the flavors! P.S save some room for the milkshakes - they make the perfect 🤩

This is a nice restaurant with good quality food! We shared the buffalo chicken dip and a buffalo chicken sandwich, which came with waffle fries. Everything was delicious! The service was great too, with a lot of seating, both inside and outside. We'll definitely be back. This place really satisfies a craving for an American style dinner. The breading on the sandwich was done very well, we were impressed. The tortilla chips that came with the dip are made in house, and were delicious as well.

First I will say that the food is pretty good. Prior to talking about my experience at this restaurant, I will mention that there were several tables outside and about four or five tables inside not being used (this is not a huge restaurant). Once being seated, it took about ten minutes for the waitress to come to our table. Not to ask us initially what drinks we would like to have while we are looking over the menu…but what do we want to order. We ordered our drinks and food since we had plenty of time to look over the menu. About ten minutes later, the drinks finally arrived. Warm. About ten minutes later after that, I had to go outside and into my car due to how hot it was in the restaurant. I understand that most restaurants in Germany don’t have air conditioning…but a few fans being present would make customers more comfortable. Prior to going to my car to get some air from the air conditioning, I had looked around when I was struggling with the heat and there were several people using the menus as fans. I was not the only one struggling with the heat there. When I was sitting in the car waiting for the meal to be served, I observed two kitchen staff outside taking an estimated ten minute smoke break. If it was as busy as staff claimed it was, why were two kitchen staff allowed to take smoke breaks? All staff should have been present to make the meals for the customers. Irritated, I told my husband that I was leaving when he noticed that no customers in the restaurant were getting their food.

This is a wonderful find near Ramstein. My wife loves the biscuits and chicken sandwich here. Nikola was our server and extremely professional and accommodating in every aspect. She made our dining experience absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here again!

The food is amazing, but no customer should be waiting 45 minutes before a waiter/waitress asks them for drinks and appetizers. I could understand if the restaurant was super busy, but the waitress was literally walking right past us, serving others that arrived after my table.

This was a fantastic twist on traditional american food. American food done better than america. The food was spicy and delicious. Usually my reviews show my meal absolutely destroyed. This was not the case this meal was beyond filling . Truly a fantastic experience please give this place business!

From top to bottom this place is a 10. We have ordered delivery a few times and dined in as well. Either times it has only been about a 25 minute wait. The prices are exceptional for the portions as you are either saving leftovers for lunch or stuffed past your limit. The taste is unlike any other chicken sandwich I have had with various creative and amazing flavors. They also roll out limited time flavors almost every month to keep it fresh. Their milkshakes are actual milkshakes; thick and rich in flavor. Something you unfortunately do not get here in Germany often (no offense, probably an American thing). Last, the staff have always been positive when I entered. Which brings me to why I decided to post, I unfortunately forgot the woman’s name but saw my hands were full and had my child and she offered to help me out to the car. Literally will not get that anywhere else. It says a lot when people that are staff and work somewhere go that extra mile. I remember she had blonde hair 😅 thank you again and if I see you again I will definitely thank you and remember your name!

It was my first time going. I enjoyed their Strawberry Shortcake milkshake and the Fried Shrimp Plate. They have television screens for you to watch. If you prefer takeout, they do have that option as well.

Had a terrible stomachache for almost a day after eating here. Not gonna lie the chicken was pretty good if you like hangover style food. But not worth the consequences and tastes unclean. Also, the way they respond to negative reviews is insulting and disrespectful (calling someone Karen, really?), so I did not feel comfortable addressing them about this directly. Two stars because the staff (besides the one who replies to the reviews) was very nice.

This place is a real find. I tried the Buffalo Chicken Sando. It was served with waffle fries. The portion size was generous, but not oversized (thank you!). The chicken was plump, juicy and tasty. The service was prompt, very friendly and attentive. The owner has replicated his success formula from his Burrito place in nearby Einsiedlerhof. To quote Ahnold, “I’ll be back!”
