Ancho's Food Truck in Ramstein-Miesenbach

Daaaayum… best peppercorn ribeye in K-town! Pan fried potatoes were perfectly cooked, seasoned perfectly and finished with bacon and onions. Absolutely delicious, we’ll be back!

Today we went to the Hoffest in Winnweiler and were looking forward to the delicious food from the food truck there, after we had found out in advance what is usually offered here. On site the selection was not only very “modest” and had none of the usual pizzazz; we couldn't even spice up the fairly standard food with a chipotlemayo or something similar; as only a BBQ could be offered upon request. It's a real shame and miles away from the special taste of the person who gave it its name. Unfortunately, the test to see whether the further journey to Ramstein was worth it for us was completely wrong. It's a shame about the potential that definitely exists But at least one of the ladies present was friendly; So overall it was at least an average experience and not a complete failure. It may be different in the restaurant; But we wouldn't set off again as a booked food truck somewhere.

We were super happy with our visit! The burgers and appetizer were super tasty and inexpensive! The staff very accommodating and nice! When we asked which nightcap the waiter recommended, we were allowed to try the house liqueur - so good! Thank you, we'll be back!

Absolutely delicious. I forgot to take photos before attacking my food, I apologize. The owner never fails to make the experience feel like an afternoon family dinner. Authentic Mexican food, the flavor with the fire is unbeatable. Hours vary due to their food truck operations at other locations but I always give them a call to verify. I recommend the Chicken TNT stick, wife loves their Birria menu. If it isn’t obvious, I am a regular and I haven’t had one bad dish in years.

Quite inconspicuous from the outside, I've driven past it dozens of times. I only became aware of the restaurant through Google reviews. To eat: Really delicious food and anything but run-of-the-mill. I had a rip eye steak with onions, peppers, jalapeños and cilantro pesto. The steak was cooked to perfection. The vegetables with the pesto are super delicious.. I also received delicious and freshly prepared fried potatoes. My wife had a “cheeseburger” with sweet potato fries. Everything freshly prepared and super tasty. The price-performance ratio is above average, in my opinion even a bit too cheap. We waited a total of less than 20 minutes for our food. Since everything was prepared super fresh, this is a peak time. If the facade of the building, the staircase and the dining room were refreshed and some investment was made in advertising, it would be good for the restaurant.

I would give this place a solid 3.75 out of 10. What really killed the vibe for me was the blonde server paying more attention to her boyfriend or love interest at the bar than giving us our drinks and food. Also took her very long to take our order as well. She was nice, don’t get me wrong but she was not attentive to her job.

We were very excited, everything was perfect from the starter to the dessert. We would be happy to go there again.

1. Parking was a small challenge. 2. The food was delicious 😋 🤤 - Vegetarian options - Gluten free options - BEST GUAC I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. A few of my colleagues worked with the staff to arrange a 💡💡 self-serve Tex-Mex buffet (for a work-related social event) 💡💡.

This is a great place to get a quick lunch. I had the 3 Taco Plate and it was plenty of food with an amazing price of just 9 Eur you cannot beat this place.

Essen war mega lecker. Wir hatten Burger, Chicken wings, Tortillas, Pommes. Service sehr freundlich und hat uns super beraten. Ambiente leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und verlangt etwas nach Pflege, deshalb ein Stern Abzug.

Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker, die besten Burger in der Umgebung. Auf jeden Fall die Ranch Soße probieren ;) Hausgemachte Limonaden sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen.

Food was satisfying. The wings are fresh and not frozen. Could use some more breading. That house ranch is delicious and the Santa Fe pasta is top tier. If you get a chance to have the house made tea is so refreshing. I will definitely be back

Das Essen war absolut köstlich, die Wartezeit kurz und der Service freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Obwohl das Restaurant um die Mittagszeit sehr gut besucht und fast Bus auf den letzten Platz belegt war, musste man keine lange Wartezeit in Kauf nehmen. Das Ambiente ist sehr rustikal.

Komme immer gerne vorbei, leckeres Essen und gutes Bier. Die Angebotene Hamburger sind für mich immer wieder das Highlight. Ebenso das amerikanische Frühstück ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das komplette Team von Ancho's Pup ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Environment: 4/5 it’s a smaller place with smoking allowed inside. However, has some nice decorations and even a horse barn that you can see from your seat. There is a faint smell of smoking inside. Food: 5/5 some of the better Mexican food around the KMC. Delicious Birria quesadillas and the inside was great. Price: 5/5 very reasonably priced for the portions that you get. A lot of the German places raised their costs, however Anchos is very competitive for what you get. Misc: They have lunch available Tuesdays-Fridays 1100-1400 and dinner available Thursday-Saturdays 1700-2100

Came here for the taco food truck. Very good taco , as good as the ones in San Diego. Simply amazing! Also very large portions. So much pulled beef. They also gave us a savory dipping source.

Best burger I have ever had in Germany, and I have lived here for years. Lots of different options for the burgers. Fries are great, and they have some interesting apps. It's run by a very nice family who speaks perfect English. We were so happy when they re-opened after covid! Love this place - highly recommended!

Ich hatte den Foodtruck für meinen Geburstag mit ~55 Gästen gebucht. Die Leute waren begeistert, es hat alles super gut geklappt, war mega lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt auch. Ich kann Anchos nur jedem empfehlen der auf unglaublich gute, qualitativ hochwertige Burger steht❤️ Egal ob per Foodtruck oder vor Ort, beste Burger weit und breit!

If you want a good burger, this is the place!!!! Also had the beria pizza which was fire.

The burger was flavorless and tough. Probably the worst I’ve had anywhere. Akin to a frozen Patty cooked w/o any salt. The BBQ Chx Pizza was good. The venue also has potential if management can get a hold of blinds to block the setting sun, and any music that drowns the pin dropping. I wouldn’t give up on this place.

This is our second time at this restaurant, first time was for dinner and second is for the breakfast that is held every other week. We got french toast, the farmers omelet and the biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious and the owners of this business are all extremely kind and provide friendly service. This has become one of our favorite spots not just for the great food but for the awesome family running it. 🥰
