Just what you'd expect from a good German restaurant. Friendly service and everything was quick. As a real carb burner, I was so full I practically rolled out the rest! Good thing we didn't pass by! 😏😏

I visited Bembelche again and was very satisfied. The food was excellent again. I can recommend the chilled steins, as they keep the beer cold longer, especially in these temperatures. The service wasn't as quick as usual this time, but it was also quite busy. I will definitely go back.

Since returning to my university town after several years in Bavaria, this has been my first stop. Hessian-style food and drinks, with regular, more exotic dishes on the menu, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Plus, a very personable owner with a heart in the right place. Whether it's for a regular get-together with friends or a quick drink on the way home, I always enjoy coming back!

We've been here for the second time this week and still can't get enough! The ambiance is wonderful and cozy, both inside and out. The staff is quick and friendly, as they should be! I 100% recommend the schnitzel, especially with the green sauce in summer! Overall, a wonderful restaurant experience and would recommend it again and again.

I first visited this shop a year ago, and since then, I've been coming here regularly with my family! The portions are always satisfying and truly worth the price. The staff is always super friendly and efficient, and the food always arrives quickly and freshly... simply fantastic! If you love good, authentic German food, you have to visit this shop at least once!

Apple wine = excellent Service = friendly and attentive - they ask questions, but what can you say - crap food? You don't do that, you remain as polite as the staff. Food = Frankfurt-style schnitzel = were two millimeter-thick slabs - 14 x 5 cm - not worth the money and ridiculous for the price... the fried potatoes took up almost 3/4 of the plate... and some of them were NOT cooked through - the red cabbage, well, okay - like the whole meal, bland and meaningless - you'll obviously get full, unfortunately, you won't be seeing me again.

Overall, it was good. The staff was very friendly, not pushy, but sometimes too passive. The atmosphere was very nice. The food had decent portions and was reasonably priced. However, the taste wasn't convincing. It was nicely presented, but the fried potatoes were rather mushy, the schnitzel wasn't homemade and was a frozen schnitzel with a sticky coating. The flavor was rather unremarkable to unseasoned. But it was filling.

Very tasty food, friendly staff and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We had the cooked cheese schnitzel, Bolognese schnitzel and cheese spaetzle. Even the robber plate for the youngest was no problem.

We were there with a large group. The service was quick and the food arrived for almost everyone in quick succession. Everything looked very tasty and tasty. I had the cheeseburger with fries. Incredibly delicious!

What happened to Bembel's? :-( Years ago I was a regular here, but now the service seems to be going downhill: the first impression was rather grubby anyway. When we mentioned that we had made a reservation, they didn't understand it (or wanted to understand it). We were then offered the bar table in the middle of the room. Despite asking and although the pub was almost empty, we were not offered an alternative. So we left…forever!

Had 2 schnitzels, once with cooked cheese and once with green sauce. The green sauce was great, but unfortunately the cooked cheese only tasted like processed cheese, so cooked cheese had little to do with me. The fried potatoes could have used a little more color. But the service was super attentive and very kind. The ambience is also great.

Rustic atmosphere with very attentive service and extremely tasty food of excellent quality. The price/performance ratio is also right. As a nice gesture there was even a fruit schnapps on the house. We would definitely like to come back.

The Bembelsche completely convinced me from a culinary point of view! I decided on the schnitzel with fried potatoes and was more than pleasantly surprised. The portion was extremely generous - in fact I received two schnitzels! Everything tasted freshly prepared and was extremely tasty. The fried potatoes were crispy and the mushrooms served with them were definitely fresh and juicy - a treat in themselves. The price-performance ratio is really excellent, because for a fair price you were more than satisfied. The staff deserves special praise: attentive, friendly and courteous. You never felt rushed or pressured, but could study the menu and order in peace. Both the drinks and the food came quickly and - what I particularly appreciated - all the dishes were served at the same time so that we could eat together. We were lucky enough to sit outside which was lovely especially after sunset. A string of lights bathed the outdoor area in a warm, inviting light and created a cozy atmosphere. I was also able to take a look inside - it looks rustic and quaint, which certainly has its own charm. Overall, I can only warmly recommend Bembelsche. It is the perfect place for a relaxed evening with excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

No hablo aleman, pero los que nos atendieron fueron super simpáticos, a pesar del local estar lleno y todo reservado (siendo martes 😅) nos acomodaron en la barra y nos atendieron en los tiempos correctos! Los platos son servidos con abundancia! Tuve que dividir el mi milanesa! 🤤💯 La pasamos excelente! Muy buen ambiente y con comida tradicional! Lo recomiendo! 👌🏻

Entgegen des alten Rufs hat es leider nichts mehr mit traditioneller Küche aus Südhessen zutun. Der Handkäse ist ein Harzer Roller, das Schnitzel kommt aus der Frisöse und das Schäufelchen hat wenig mit dem Original zutun. Da erwarte ich für über 20€ einfach mehr. Der Service ist sehr nett und man sitzt draußen schön aber es hat wenig mit einer deutschen Wirtschaft zutun.

Familiengeführtes Lokal mit angenehmer Atmosphäre, regionaler Küche & regelmäßig wechselnden Aktionsgerichten. Top Bedienung, hier bleibt das Glas nie leer ;-) Mega Apfelwein! Essen schmeckt super lecker und die Portionen sind so das man nicht hungrig nachhause geht. (Hatte den Cheeseburger) Komme aufjedenfall wieder. Für jeden der in Darmstadt ein authentisches Lokal sucht eine Empfehlung.

Zweite Mal im Bembelsche Essen gewesen.Wieder war das Essen in meinen Augen super.Großes Lob an den Koch. Heute eine Knödelsuppe und den Bembele Burger gegessen. Einfach super ,Burger natürlich nicht wie man ihn sich vorstellt lasst euch überraschen.Ambiente ist altbacken aber OK.Parktechnisch leider eine Katastrophe da Wohngebiet. Essen scheint sich rumgesprochen zu haben ,deswegen lieber reservieren .

Essen war gut und ausreichend, früher fand ich es noch besser und die Preise haben wirklich kräftig angezogen, da man bei der Preiserhöhung noch die Portionsgröße verkleinert hat

An sich war das Bembelsche eine solide Adresse. Leider hat sich das ganze zum negativen verändert. Speisen sind eher Kantinen Style und die Preise sind viel zu hoch. Schnitzel kostet nackisch 13,50, aber wirklich ohne irgendwelche Beilagen! Wenn man dann z.B. 5 Kroketten dazu bestellt, kosten alleine diese schon 3,50,- extra. Kleiner Salat dazu +3,50,-. Das bedeutet man bezahlt für ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat 21,-. Das finde ich für ein frittiertes Schweineschnitzel und ein paar Kroketten echt zu viel. Leider WAR das Bembelsche eine echt gute Adresse, Betonung liegt auf war. Preis-Leistung ist schlecht.

Wir waren im Bembelsche zum Mittagessen und es war gut und deftig und mehr als ausreichend. Sowohl die mächtige Grillhaxe als auch die gebratene Leber und der Hamburger mit Pommes liesen sich gut bewerten. Der Äppelwoi mundete und die freundliche Bedienung sind zu loben.

Eines der besten Restaurants in Darmstadt. Auf jeden Fall ein MUST VISIT wenn man Mal in der Nähe ist. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Preise waren angemessen und die Portionen waren perfekt.

We were a group of five, among which two were vegetarians. We had made a reservation and it was a Saturday evening. The ambience was nice especially with snow everywhere outside. The restaurant has a very German ambience and the hospitality was awesome. Though we had to wait a little bit for our order, it was worth the wait. An authentic German experience!

Hier stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Essen kam heiß auf den Tisch und war mehr als ausreichend. Ich hatte das Bolo Schnitzel in der großen Variante. Puh, trotz großen Hungers, hatte ich zu kämpfen. Der Service war einwandfrei. Trotz vollen Hauses, war die Wartezeit kurz. Nur die etwas stickige Luft war nicht so prickelnd. Da darf bei vollem Haus gerne mehr gelüftet werden! Noch erwähnenswert wäre, dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Einzig allein ist der Name irritierend. Man möchte annehmen, dass es sich um ein klassisches Äppelwoin Lokal handelt. Da ist man aber auf dem Holzweg.😉

Haben über bekannten Lieferservice bestellt. Schnitzel mit Beilage und Salat. Preis Leistung Top. Schnitzel waren gut zubereitet und lecker. Beilagen wie gewünscht ohne Beanstandung. Absoluter Pluspunkt sind die getrennten Saucen. Mag aus Ökologischer Sicht nicht gut aussehen, aber wenn man essen bestellt sollte das auch nicht ausschlaggebend sein. Fak ist: Essen und Saucen sind warm gewesen und man selbst dosieren. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden.

Aufgrund der soliden Bewertungen und da wir uns das Hundertwasserhaus ansehen wollten, aßen wir im Bembelsche zu Mittag. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art war solide, wenn auch recht fett. Der Apfelstrudel wusste weniger zu überzeugen und schmeckte wie ein typisches Discounterprodukt. In der Summe keine aktive Weiterempfehlung, aber auch kein Abraten meinerseits.

Habe heute beim Bembelsche bestellt über ein Lieferdienst und muss sagen bin begeistert Geschmack aussehen einfach top wird bestimmt nicht das Leste mal gewesen sein beim nexten Mal direkt im Restaurant da es um die Ecke ist. Toll bitte weiter so.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre & fantastisches Essen! Wir hatten es spontan versucht es war leider voll. Am nächsten Tag hat man uns extra Plätze frei gehalten was sehr lieb war. Das Essen hat unvergleichlich geschmeckt & das Personal ist sehr freundlich & unterhaltsam. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Wir hatten extra 3 Wochen vorher reserviert, um dann an einem Stehtisch mitten im Durchgang neben den Toiletten platziert zu werden. Man konnte und wollte uns keinen normalen Tisch anbieten. Sind ohne etwas zu bestellen wieder gegangen. Drin ist es total laut, wirkt mehr wie eine Kneipe als ein Restaurant. Nie wieder.
