Bellessa - Südamerikanisches Restaurant in Cottbus

Wir waren gestern zu sechst im Belessa. Der erste Eindruck war noch in Ordnung. Trotz einer etwas chaotischen Reservierung fand der Chef einen Tisch für uns. Leider war das auch schon das Positivste des Abends. Die Bedienung wirkte komplett überfordert. Bei der Bestellung fragte sie zwar alle nach den Getränken, aber nur vier von sechs Personen nach dem Essen. Als wir sie darauf hinwiesen, war sie überzeugt, wir hätten bereits alles bestellt. Vier Vorspeisen für sechs Personen – ein mutiges Konzept. Offenbar ist Addition im Belessa optional. Als dann tatsächlich alle Vorspeisen als Vorspeise bestellt wurden, musste erst die Küche konsultiert werden. Begleitet wurde das Ganze von Augenrollen und hörbarem Seufzen. Als Gast fühlt man sich da natürlich besonders willkommen. Der nächste Höhepunkt: Ein Getränk landete auf der Hose eines Gastes. Der junge Mitarbeiter entschuldigte sich sofort – das rechne ich ihm hoch an. Vom Chef kam allerdings weder eine Entschuldigung noch ein Ersatzgetränk. Offenbar trocknen nasse Hosen dort von allein. Auch beim Besteck wurde es kreativ. Trotz zwei zusätzlicher Sitzplätze fehlte Besteck. Erst nach Hinweis wurde eines gebracht – allerdings nur eins. Restaurant-Mathematik scheint ihre eigenen Gesetze zu haben. Das Essen war schließlich nur lauwarm bis kalt. Die Käse- und Hähnchenbällchen waren alles andere als appetitlich. Nach dem Erwärmen waren sie zwar warm, aber leider nicht besser. Vor dem Bezahlen suchten wir das Gespräch mit dem Chef. Statt Einsicht oder einer Entschuldigung bekamen wir Ausreden. Sein Argument, das Essen könne gar nicht kalt gewesen sein, weil er und der Küchenchef ihre Finger in die Bällchen gesteckt hätten, war wohl der unfreiwillige Höhepunkt des Abends. Schade. Fehler können passieren. Entscheidend ist, wie man damit umgeht. Hier fehlte es an Service, Einsicht und dem Willen, eine unangenehme Situation zu lösen. Noch ein Hinweis: Die Speisekarte im Internet entspricht nicht der aktuellen Karte. Laut Chef wird sie alle vier Wochen geändert. Fazit: Schlechtes Essen, überforderter Service, keinerlei Kritikfähigkeit und ein Chef, der lieber diskutiert als sich entschuldigt. Für uns war es definitiv das erste und letzte Mal.

Das Bellessa ist ein echter Gaumenschmaus! Sehr gutes Essen, preislich etwas höher angesiedelt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre ungezwungen. Im Innenhof etwas laut aber man fühlt sich im südamerikanischen Flair dennoch wohl. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Einfach nur fantastisch! Das kleine versteckte Lokal ist die Suche wert. Wir waren mit der Verwandtschaft aus Bayern da und waren rundum zufrieden, mit dem Service, Essen und die Lakation. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

Sehr lecker, die Zutaten sind frisch und alles war perfekt zubereitet. Nicht jedes Restaurant bekommt es hin. Gerne wieder 👍🏻

Gemütlich platziert im schönen Eberthof hatten wir ein super leckeres Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit sehr guten und freundlichen Service. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben uns Essen liefern lassen und waren sprachlos. Es sah aus, als hätte man es lieblos in die Packung geworfen, die Portion war für den Preis viel zu klein und geschmacklich gerade noch erträglich. Für das Geld eine absolute Frechheit.

Sehr spannende Küche, nicht alles 100%ig gelungen, aber super Reaktion im Service, der ohnehin toll war. ZT ungewöhnliche Speisen in CB, durchaus dem brasilianischen Original nahekommend. Chapeau. Am Wochenende sicherlich reservieren!

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Das Essen war kein bisschen authentisch. Ein „südamerikanisches“ Garnelen-Gericht für knapp 30€ ist von einem 5€ Tiefkühl-Thai-Curry kaum zu unterscheiden. Dass der frittierte Maniok ausverkauft ist könnte man mal erwähnen, bevor man ihn einfach durch normale Pommes ersetzt.

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Der Service, das Essen & die Freundlichkeit wird hier ganz hoch geschrieben. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderbares Erlebnis mit Nachhall! Einfach nur ein zauberhafter Ort mit sehr sympathischem Personal, absolut appetitlich, für mich ein ganz neues Geschmackserlebnis. Lecker- Südamerika Flair und Essen. Wer mal etwas Neues ausprobieren möchte ist hier richtig!

Wir waren heute zu 2 dort. Der Service wa sehr aufmerksam und sehr schnell und natürlich sehr freundlich. Das Angebot an verschiedenen Variationen von den Gerichten, ist sehr überschaubar, aber definitiv ausreichend. Die Qualität und die Zusammenstellung der Gerichte, sind auf jedenfall gelungen. Ich kann dieses Lokal definitiv weiterempfehlen. Wir werden auf jedenfall mal im Sommer wiederkommen, um den Außenbereich zu sehen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit.

Very friendly and attentive service, very tasty and filling food, nice decor. Unfortunately, the bar owners from across the street came and went dozens of times in just a few minutes, sometimes leaving the door open, which, given the frosty outside temperatures, made the dining room quite cold.

The online reservation worked very well, my special request was still remembered when assigning the table, the staff was very friendly, the ingredients were excellent and the taste was fantastic.

A very young, harmonious team whose friendliness contributes to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The open kitchen and stylish decor perfectly complement the evening with authentic South American cuisine. A real insider tip for anyone visiting Cottbus :).

Beautifully located in a courtyard. Super friendly service. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The food was excellent, and they even conjured up something for our little one that wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the delicious food. We'll be back.

Rodizio in August was total crap...very badly grilled and for the price you hardly get

Yesterday Rodizio Grill was unfortunately I have to say very bad... meat wasn't grilled well, often with blood, chicken wings absolute rubbish... staff and atmosphere were very good, nice.... 4 people = 160 euros, basically we ate maybe 30 💶 in total... 🥗 Bar not like before, too much salt, butter, fresh salad at least.

The Rodizio Grill wasn't really good. For that price, you usually get sausage, meat with a lot of blood, so it's not grilled well. The only thing that was really tasty were the ribs. Five people pay €200 for just the grill, and in the end, you get a few pieces of poorly grilled meat, the salad bar is too salty, there's not enough choice, and the salad isn't fresh enough... So, unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience on August 5, 2025.

It's worth a visit! The courtyard invites you to linger, and the restaurant is also very well-appointed inside! The restrooms are very well-maintained and clean. The food was delicious, and the waitress was friendly and prompt! Please keep it up!😃

A must for anyone who appreciates good food.

A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff who are happy to provide information about the dishes on offer. Their recommendations are spot on. The menu is quite sophisticated and varied. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey, but the quality is excellent. We were very pleasantly surprised. Finally, a new restaurant with international flair in Cottbus that breaks away from the beaten track and surprises customers with something new. We'd be happy to return. Highly recommended. On our return visit, we were once again thoroughly spoiled by the exquisite cuisine. The menu may have become a bit more concise, but still offers something special for every taste.

It breaks my heart to give a bad review on a such a nice place. Brunch had no seasoning or was way too salty. The way you can order from 4 different mains plus the buffet is great, but many of them were just bland.

Were here for Easter brunch. I can only recommend it. Fresh fruit, very tasty smoked fish platter, various types of cheese and salads. Vegetarian dishes also on offer. A big thank you to the entire crew. Very friendly and attentive. We'd love to go there again.

Price-performance ratio not very appealing, far too expensive and little food, Valentine's Day special without warning so a 3-course menu for 2 people paid €111 and the dessert was forgotten. Not worth a second visit.

Hi food was very good. Service was very nice. Open kitchen is also great. I have to deduct points for the fact that there is no toilet suitable for disabled people, but you have to say that a solution was/was taken care of.

The location is exceptional for Cottbus. The service and the ambience are top. The pisco sour was very tasty. Unfortunately, the Matambre fell short of my expectations. The tiramisu was okay. I was recently in Argentina and so I'm used to something different. The price level is quite high.

Ich hatte die Hirschroulade. Diese war sehr hart, eher krispi. Keine Ahnung ob das so sein soll, hat nicht geschmeckt. Gewürzt war es gar nicht, auch hier weiß ich nicht ob das so sein soll. Jedenfalls ist es nichts wofür ich 26€ nochmal zahlen würde. Daher würde ich da auch nicht mehr hingehen.

Very nice little restaurant with South American cuisine. The dishes from many countries are surprising and very tasty. Plus, the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly. Definitely worth recommending. --Update from December 30, 2024-- Visit again. Again very nice service. There was a new menu with very tasty dishes. Great value for money again. Highly recommended.

Waren jetzt zum 2.Mal hier und haben wieder sehr gut gegessen. Die Ochsenbäckchen waren Spitze. Gute Weine. Netter Service. Lediglich beim Nachtisch ist noch Luft nach oben. Wir kommen wieder.

The food was good, nothing mind blowing. Although I did love the octopus, as it was well seasoned and very easy to chew. The staff was friendly, but seemed a bit lost at times, it gave the impression that they hadn’t been working there long. But as I said, the service was still good. Overall a good experience, if a bit on the expensive side.

The food was first class. It tasted really good, the staff was really friendly and nice and you could watch the chef cook. It didn't take long until the food was on the table. The cocktails were really tasty too.

First time I was charged for taking the food home! In a society of massive food waste, to charge for taking the food home, that otherwise would go to garbage is indecent. The restaurant deserves for this reason no further comments!

Good place to eat in Chóśebuz. Very attentive and friendly service and very delicious food! I can also recommend the cocktails from the bar next door ("El Chico").

We were there for brunch. The food was delicious, the staff was very accommodating and the atmosphere is interesting and very pleasant.

South American cuisine atmosphere, except Brazilian food, which is a shame, but the service is great and the servers still communicate in Spanish and Portuguese. I loved the experience! The coffee is delicious.

The service was attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were on the table in a reasonable time. The beef was tasty, but I found the plain rice too dry. I would have liked a little more sauce with it. Otherwise the restaurant is worth a visit.

Just really beautiful. My husband comes from Cuba, which is actually part of Latin America. But from a culinary point of view, he immediately felt at home in this restaurant. Very nice staff, imaginative atmosphere and the DELICIOUS DELICIOUS FOOD made us happy. We felt very comfortable and made a reservation for Christmas brunch. Boys and girls, keep it up!!!

We were looking for a great restaurant and Bellessa was recommended to us. What can we say, it was great!! Hidden in an inner courtyard, great ambience, the service is super nice and the food is super tasty. If you sit well, you can watch the chef through the open kitchen, all fresh ingredients, great taste. We'll definitely be back!!!

We were in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. We would recommend a reservation. The service was incredibly nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and we could hardly decide. The card probably changes every three months. We will definitely visit the restaurant again!

I visited Bellessa - South American Restaurant and was overall satisfied. The food was okay, but didn't quite meet my expectations. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly. However, a wider variety of authentic South American dishes could be offered. Overall a good experience but there is room for improvement.

Just wow! We were on vacation and happened to be in this wonderful restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome and our waiter Namid was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating - we have rarely had such a great waiter! The restaurant is very cozy and the food and drinks were incredibly tasty, fresh and simply delicious! We will definitely come back :) Clear recommendation!
