Good food, unfriendly service. Staff did not really care about us and it felt unwelcoming. Efficient and good food, but poor experience because of indifferent service. Also, cash only, which seems odd.

Het eten is echt fantastisch, als je hier wilt eten wel op tijd reserveren. Bediening is niet altijd even vriendelijk en de baas is een oude knorrenpot. Heel gek dat de pin het niet doet en je zal of van tevoren cash mee moeten meenemen of "even" langs de pinautomaat moeten. Het is een heel klein en gezellig restaurant. Niet het nieuwste meubilair maar goed daar kwamen we niet voor. Wij hebben met twee kids het complete menu met voor en hoofdgerecht genomen. Helaas moest dit voor drie personen terwijl onze kids niet veel en alles lusten. We hebben daardoor veel eten tegen onze wil moeten laten staan. Het eten is daarentegen echt fantastisch. Maar de volgende keer bestellen we iets los van de kaart ipv een duur menu en de helft laten staan

Kommen immer wieder gerne 👌😋 Das essen ist einfach genial. Und da kann man bestellen was man will. Auch das Drumherum passt 👍.

Wat een geweldig restaurant! Je waant je zo in Beiroet. Een klein restaurant in het hartje van Keulen. Gelukkig hadden we gereserveerd, want het zat tot de nok vol. De obers moesten even puzzelen, maar uiteindelijk konden we met z’n 4-en boven gezellig zitten. We kozen voor het Mäse Menu. Voor €47 p.p. de tafel vól met de meest heerlijke voor- en hoofdgerechten. Echt van een waanzinnig hoog niveau. De bediening was echt prima; leuke kerels die ook wel tegen een geintje kunnen. Het dessert en de koffie hebben we alle vier laten staan; dat was écht niet naar onze smaak. Al met al een een geweldig gezellige en smaakvolle avond!

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten voor een goede prijs. Het vlees heeft een lekkere rooksmaak van de houtskoolgrill, de groenten zijn zeer vers en de bediening is zeer vriendelijk. De gerechten stonden vrij snel op tafel.

Disappointing and overpriced – not recommended! I was really disappointed with the Beirut restaurant in Cologne. The food is absolutely overpriced and in no way justifies the high prices. The portions are tiny and anything but generous. In terms of taste, it wasn't anything special - everything was very unspectacular and nothing that you couldn't get better or cheaper elsewhere. The service also left a lot to be desired. You had the feeling that the employees didn't really enjoy their job, and that was clearly noticeable in the lack of warmth in the atmosphere. The atmosphere that you would expect from a restaurant like this is completely absent. In addition, the tables inside were dirty and there were leftovers from previous guests on them - apparently they are not cleaned regularly or thoroughly enough. Furthermore, this is not a place for children and there are no chairs for children. Overall, absolutely no recommendation. There are far better options in Cologne.

My only complaint is that everything sounded so good, we ordered too much! The food was delicious and were very generous servings. Super enjoyable!

Last Saturday I went on a trip to Cologne with my wife. And bought shawarma here twice, unfortunately we found dirt (hair and skin) in it. By the time I explored, we were gone. And I live far away from Cologne, otherwise I would complain there directly. It's very angry, they ruined the whole day.

He saw that I was a foreigner and thought I had no money when I ordered an Arabic shawarma, priced at 20€ (in a respectful way, he said it was for two people, not for one person, we would make it equal to two sandwiches) I told him not to be afraid of money. The menu is really great, especially if there are several people. The guys are also really nice and hard working. There is a star deduction because it is simply no longer appropriate today not to offer card payment. You don't even have 300 EUR in your pocket

On a quiet side street. Staff is sweet and friendly. Food was to die for: fried potatoes with toum, babaganoush, fallafel, rakakat, baklava, Lebanese white wine. Giving one less star only because the place is uncomfortably tiny (even for Europe) and we were seated at a table that was in the way of both staff and other patrons. Staff member even tripped over my partners leg because of lack of space. Also server tried to insist only cash until we insisted on credit card and he gave in. Otherwise very enjoyable meal.

Just looked on TripAdvisor for a good restaurant in Cologne and this came up. So with a group of 6 we visited it. We did not want to spent too much time on dinner but it had to be good, so one of the group ordered for us all. Only Mazza he ordered according to him. When the food came the complete table was full with all different small dishes and they were really good. We had almost finished when they served again the complete table with dishes, this was the main course. We did not expect this and it actually was too much. Recommend this restaurant for sure and the service is very good as well!

Heerlijk Libanees eten. Klein, gezellig tentje. Het was er druk maar ze hadden gelukkig plek voor 2. Gerechten rond de 17 euro, niet te duur dus. Vriendelijk personeel.

The factory was very bad, especially the teacher. We ordered two shawarma rolls and we sat at a table waiting for them to prepare the rolls. Some guy came and said why should you wait outside for them to prepare the dirtiest factory and the food was normal. You were the first time he came and this is the last time 😏

I've eaten there several times now. Unfortunately we live too far away to go there regularly. The food is super tasty and the price is absolutely right. Inconspicuous from the outside but perfect inside. And the location is perfect. A street parallel to the banks of the Rhine.

Really delicious and polite service

Super delicious! Not too crowded, even on a sunny (week) day at lunchtime. We had the vegetarian platter, the flatbread with cheese and a lentil soup, which is always served with plain bottled bread. Definitely enough for 2-3 people.

I have invited a big group for business dinner in this Lebanese restaurant. The quality of food is excellent and fresh. The mezze plates are good with great variety of cold and hot plates. The grape stuffed leaves is the lowest in cold appetizers. The Falafel is also not that good. All the rest of appetizers is excellent and recommended. The mix grill is good and meat quality is nice. They are not flexible with payment methods and prefer cash which is not the standard in europe.

horrible attitude from the service people, high price. Only the baba ganoush was eatable. Rest was too salty or too dry. They charged 40 euros per person for a few meze dishes without main course nor dessert. Plus wine and water. Manager was rude and disrespectful to one of my colleagues after he complained the waiter dropped the oily food on his expensive trousers. The manager said “let me give you something for that and kissed his head while making strange body move” and laughed. It was a business dinner and we felt very uncomfortable.

Only the location of the tables is a bit awkward, which is probably due to the floor plan of the commercial space. A little bit of the Mediterranean in the centre of Köln. Been here a few times over the years when visiting on business. The food and atmosphere are great. It's cramped and authentic, so he prepared to squash in a bit. It's worth it as the food is so well prepared and presented. Only significant snag is that they are still "cash only", which is so weird these days, but common in Germany.

We ordered falafel and chicken kebab. I cannot stress enough how bad the falafel was—it was extremely salty and lacked any other spices. It was just salty and bland. The chicken kebab was mediocre; not bad but not very good either. For a falafel, chicken kebab, and a small coke, we paid 36 euros, which is very overpriced for the quality of the food. As for the staff and the vibe of the restaurant, it was awful. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there! Additionally, they claimed their POS system was broken and only accepted cash, which was surprising. How long should a business owner wait to fix their POS machine? Lastly, we arrived around 1 pm, and instead of taking our order, they were busy cleaning the floor and toilets!

The dishes are good and generous. The only problems are: - I had a Coca Cola served in a glass. I would have preferred to have the small bottle with a glass. absolutely nothing to say about the cuisine. On the other hand, the service is catastrophic. 6 of us arrived to eat and the service was expeditious. We had booked for 7:30 p.m., we were there at 7:20 p.m. As soon as we were seated, the waiter started telling us that we shouldn't hang around because there were other reservations later in the evening. We ordered quickly, the dishes arrived quickly and throughout the meal we were thinking that we had to go even faster, the waiter was walking around us to make sure that we didn't waste a single second, some clumsy gestures to retrieve the items. empty plates on the table as well as unpleasant remarks because obviously customers were waiting for our table. It was stressful until the last second, we were pushed out even though we had spent almost 400 euros. Nothing to say about the cuisine however CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE = 0.
