Pizza never arrived - ordered via Lieferando. Unreachable by phone.

Following an inspection conducted by the Food Inspection Authority (City of Mannheim) on May 8, 2025, the results were published on June 30, 2025. Please note: According to Section 40, Paragraph 1a of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB), this regulation expressly obliges authorities to inform the public only if there is sufficient suspicion or evidence of a significant violation of hygiene or consumer protection regulations. FACTS / REASON FOR COMPLAINT "The operating rooms exhibited severe cleaning deficiencies and pest infestations. Dead and live cockroaches were found on the walls and floor. Cockroach nests were found in the walls of the saladette and the dough mixer, as well as cockroaches in the stainless steel containers containing open food in the saladette. Tuna for pizza topping was stored at 17.3°C. The chopping block in the kitchen was damaged, with deep grooves in which dirt had accumulated. The slicer was heavily soiled. Misleading information was found on the menus: Shepherd's cheese was labeled as feta, Italian hard cheese as Parmesan (Parmigiano Reggiano), and Vegan Gouda Flavor as vegetarian cheese." NOTES ON THE CORRECTION OF DEFECTS AND REMARKS "Production, processing, and treatment in the facility were voluntarily discontinued. During the follow-up inspection on May 22, 2025, most of the deficiencies were remedied, and the facility was able to reopen. During the follow-up inspection on June 12, 2025, only minor hygiene deficiencies were identified. The misleading information, with the exception of the incorrect labeling of the "Parmigiano Reggiano" product, had been remedied." I hope that those responsible have now thoroughly remedied the identified deficiencies and introduced permanent, effective hygiene and quality control measures.

THEY CAN'T ISSUE A PROPER INVOICE. The pizza is good and delicious, but they can't issue a proper invoice, let alone a catering receipt, which renders it useless. If you need a proper invoice, avoid this pizzeria.

As agreed, we received our three party pizzas delivered to work today on time. The feedback from all our colleagues was unanimous: Simply fantastic – top-notch taste, high-quality ingredients, and they arrived piping hot. A big thank you to Gianni!

Ordered from Liefrando but never received the order. Funny how the app says that the food was delivered. I was standing outside the apartment the whole time and it never did. Would've given 0 stars if there was an option.

Ordered several times via Wolt. Every time the sauce was completely in the bag instead of in the food container. If I complain in person, I am told on the phone that I have to complain to Wolt. ... the remaining sauce on the cream schnitzel tastes like water. The schnitzel was completely softened by the sauce and like a sponge. Very far from a crispy schnitzel with sauce. The fries are pure mush. After about 15 orders, that was my last one. Too bad.

It was a mediocre pizza in my opinion.

No side salad was delivered, although it was clearly stated that each schnitzel came with a side dish and a salad. The schnitzel is as thin as a laser beam, and the sauce is completely tasteless - and that at 15 euros per schnitzel! I can well imagine that other dishes are just as mercilessly saved. This is nothing more than an overpriced canteen, but definitely not a delivery service restaurant.

Pizza burned down. Unfortunately, callback is not possible.

Although the snack shop appears small from the inside, da Ganni stands out with its delicious food and familiar atmosphere. The team was extremely welcoming and approachable to us, making us feel welcome. The pizza was delicious! I have to go there again next time!

Ordered Pizza Salsiccia. Cost €9.50. €2 more than a Margherita. Therefore, my expectations were based on a generous distribution of salami/Italian bratwurst. To my disappointment, I discovered that this shop had only put 7, advertised as “seven”, and damn near 7 pieces of salami. You can imagine my disappointment. But the fries were okay, crispy and warm. Stable performance for that. Overall okay for the price, but please don't skimp on the covering.

Ordered today via Lieferando because the reviews were very good. Noodles with cream sauce were ordered, which was more like a soup and the sauce just consisted of whipped cream, without spices, without anything! the salsiccia on the pizza was disgusting! Extra garlic was ordered for the pizza, which of course cost extra, but it wasn't on there! I then submitted a review to Lieferando. 3 hours later I received an email saying that my order had been canceled, which arrived 3 hours ago. Due to the cancellation, my review was deleted!! Of course you can do it that way too! No wonder the reviews are only good when criticism is wiped out like this! The food was definitely a disaster! never again !!!

My friend and I were craving a pizza and stumbled upon this place around 01:00 when everything else was closed. It was the most delicious pizza we had in a long time and the staff were super kind👌🏼 also, the prices are great!

Great value for money and the food tastes exactly as you would expect. It's not a special Italian place now. However, for the prices and opening times, one of the best in Mannheim. The pizza is nice and crispy and baked perfectly in the pan. I like to come here to enjoy a snack while standing. Tastes great

Ein Schock von dem es sich zu erholen unmöglich erscheint. Eine derartige Enttäuschung habe ich in meinen 50 Jahren noch nie erleben müssen. Keine Empfehlung!

2 Stunden auf Essen gewartet damit es am ende Miserabel ist. Danke für nichts ihr Banausen.

In einer Welt, die von kulinarischer Vorfreude und verheißungsvollen Duftnoten durchzogen ist, wagte ich es, mein Glück mit Gianni über Lieferando zu versuchen. Oh, wie sehr habe ich diesen fatalen Fehler bereut! Das "Putenschnitzel mit Gorgonzola" sollte der Höhepunkt meiner gastronomischen Reise sein, doch stattdessen fand ich mich in einem Dilemma aus Enttäuschung und Geschmacksverirrung wieder. Wo war der Gorgonzola? Ein rätselhaftes Verschwinden, das nur von einer Sahne-Überdosis übertroffen wurde. Das Schnitzel ertrank regelrecht in einer unheilvollen Flut von Sahne, und der versprochene Gorgonzola schien in den kulinarischen Abgrund gesogen worden zu sein. Doch dies war nicht der einzige Akt in diesem kulinarischen Drama. Die Zeit, die unaufhaltsam verrann, glich einem düsteren Fluch. Fast zwei Stunden verbrachte ich in ungeduldiger Erwartung, als hätte der Koch persönlich beschlossen, meine Geduld bis zum Zerreißen zu strapazieren. Gianni und Lieferando entführten mich in einen Albtraum aus geschmacklicher Leere und zeitraubender Tortur. Diese Bestellung wird als dunkles Kapitel in meiner kulinarischen Historie verweilen. Diejenigen, die nach kulinarischem Elend und dramatischen Wartezeiten suchen, könnten hier womöglich eine Tragödie für ihre Geschmacksknospen erleben. Doch allen anderen sei dringend geraten, diesen Ort der kulinarischen Misere zu meiden wie die Pest!

Diese Restauranterfahrung war enttäuschend auf mehreren Ebenen. Das Essen erreichte mich lange kalt, und das Fleisch war schlicht ungenießbar – zäh wie Gummi und ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Was die Wartezeit betrifft, musste ich über zweieinhalb Stunden auf meine Bestellung warten, was die Situation nur verschlimmerte. Eine insgesamt frustrierende und wenig schmackhafte Erfahrung.

Das war nichts. Pommes kalt und matschig, und die Pizza klebt die Hälfte vom Belag auf dem Deckel.

Ich habe essen bestellt, und wirklich ich war so begeistert. Service war freundlich und das essen der Wahnsinn. Ich hatte eine Pizza und einen Salat. Das erste Mal ,dass der Pizzateig so gut geschmeckt hat, dass ich sogar den Rand gegessen hab. Zum Salat kann ich nur sagen, Hut ab nicht nur billiger Eisberg sondern auch lollo mit dabei, das Dressing war bestimmt hausgemacht. insgesamt fand ich den Salat auch wirklich lecker. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und werde künftig auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

Si mangia benissimo, la farinata spettacolare, una pizza croccante sottile morbida e buonissima. Un locale proprio carino, provatelo, non vi pentirete.Locale piccolo ma grazioso, particolare. Le pizze sono strepitose. Ottima possibilità di scelta anche tra le birre e le bevande. Il Personale sempre cortese e gentile , gradevolissima esperienza. Accoglienza eccellente. gentilissimo . Una buona scelta di piatti e pizze complimenti al Personale.

Eins zwei Tische wären ideal,aber liegt bestimmt dran das kein Platz dafür da ist.

Immer lecker, sehr nett, top Preise, hat Sonntag auf, authentische italienische Küche, schmeckt immer, gibt auch vegane Pizza seit neustem als Tipp:)

Die Pizzen schmeckten gut auch der Boden war super, nur die Tomatensauce war zuviel. Und obwohl Knoblauch in Zutaten aufgeführt war, war es nicht der Fall.

Bester Italiener Imbiss im Kiez . Bestelle oft auch über den Lieferdienst . Frage mich nur warum die negativen Bewertungen anonym gemacht werden ? Es ist auch völlig normal das die Lieferzeit länger dauert als angegeben. Ich bin froh das es Lieferservice gibt 😍

Die Pasta Bolognese war wirklich ungenießbar. Die Pizza war okay. Allerdings hat die Lieferung fast 1,5 Stunden gedauert…

Ich habe diesen Laden vor kurzer Zeit entdeckt und fahre seitdem mindestens zwei mal die Woche aus Ludwigshafen essen! Der leckerste Italiener in der Umgebung! Frische Zutaten, knusprige leckere Pizza! Sehr leckere Pasta! Portionen sind ordentlich! Preise sind absolut fair! Freundlicher Familienbetrieb! Dieser Laden bekommt von mir eine 5 von 5!

Dachte erst wie soll man von so einer Pizza satt werden haha konnte ab der Hälfte nimmer gute Pizza!!!!

Im Geschmack/ Preis Verhältnis ist es eine von besten Pizzerien in der Stadt. Aber dort gibt es keine Ambiente, außer man mag in einem grellen Kiosk im stehen essen 🤪

Zu aller erst: Bei Gianni ist kein Restaurant sonder mehr ein Imbiss, wer also richtig Essen gehen will ist hier (leider) falsch. Qualitativ und geschmacklich können Pizza und Pasta von Bei Gianni aber leicht mit Restaurants mithalten, die Preise sind allerdings deutlich günstiger. Für eine Pizza oder einen Teller Pasta in der Mittagspause oder zum mit nach Hause nehmen also bestens geeignet.

Der Titel sagt alles. Keine andere Pizza in Mannheim kann mit Gianni mithalten. Die Preise sind auch nicht zu schlagen!

Die Pizzeria hat mir an so manchen Tagen bereits das Leben gerettet. Nirgends kann man für so wenig Geld diese Qualität erwarten. Ich habe mit Sicherheit über 100 mal dort gegessen und wurde nicht ein mal enttäuscht. Solltet ihr in der Gegend sein, holt euch hier eine Pizza! Imbissflair und besser als im Restaurant.
