Beef House in Heppenheim (Bergstraße)

We go to Beefhouse every week because the burgers there are simply the best – we're always happy to come back. Unfortunately, on September 12, 2025, at 6:30 PM, we had a very disappointing experience. The staff was unfriendly. When we pointed out that one of the burgers was still raw, the only response we received was, "I don't know." After a while, we did get a new burger, but the way they reacted was not acceptable. The fries were also lukewarm – for us and for another person after us. Instead of showing understanding or solving the problem, they denied that the fries weren't warm enough. In the end, the other customer left angry, which was completely understandable. It's a shame, because the food is generally great, but this kind of service shouldn't happen. We hope things improve in the future, as we would really like to continue coming regularly.

I'm honestly at a loss for words. The location is great, but unfortunately, the rest was more show than substance. I ordered two cheeseburgers with fries to go and specifically requested cheddar cheese – instead, I got mozzarella. The fries went soggy within seconds, apparently undercooked to begin with. The beef patties were mediocre and raw. The only positive: the buns were really good.

The burgers were very good. The sides, unfortunately, weren't. The fries, wedges, and nuggets were unfortunately too hard, as if they had been fried for too long or at too high a temperature. The bacon, unfortunately not real pork but probably beef, was as tough as a shoe sole on the burger.

Super tasty burgers with really good meat, but the sweet potato fries are better elsewhere... It's worth noting that every additional ingredient or side order costs extra. That's understandable these days, but there are other places where this isn't the case.

The fries are also simply superb – crispy, golden brown, and delicious. The value for money is absolutely spot on – no comparison to chains like Hans im Glück, McDonald's, and the like. We were passing through and wanted a quick bite to eat. We had the Texas BBQ and Chili Burger, each single (160g). Luckily, no side dishes, because the burgers are HUGE. The buns and sauce are great!

Really delicious, we can only recommend it. We had a photo shoot that day and got really hungry afterwards and the nice couple taking photos warmly recommended the burger shop to us. It was by far the best burger we've ever eaten. We'll be back!

Best burger restaurant I know. You can see and taste that the burgers are homemade, including the bun. Nice selection, and given the limited menu (they only serve burgers and fries), they specialize in the best burgers. 😍 The sweet potato fries are nice and crispy, not soggy. 😊

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch, thinking a burger can never hurt. But what awaited us was simply amazing! So fresh, so delicious—one of the best burgers we've ever had. I've been going there regularly for years and have never been disappointed. Great burgers and for me the best in the region.

Dear Beefhouse, I'm writing this text exclusively with my middle fingers. If you say that you are open until 10 p.m. on Saturdays, you can probably expect that you will get something to take away 30 minutes before the end of the landing and not just be asked to leave by a meter who is chilling at the table with his boys because they are already evacuating. Then please change your opening time to 9:30 p.m. so you can save yourself the trouble in the future and go straight to the outback. Other than that, the food is pretty good, which makes me even more upset about today's experience.

I know I've often written about the best burger I've ever eaten, but Beef House Burgee legit tops everything. You won't eat a better burger on the entire Bergstrasse than here. In terms of price, the parts are also great for what you get. Employees are always nice and friendly, no matter how busy the store is, a clear recommendation for anyone who wants absolute banger burgers for little money!

If it's busy, you'll have to wait a few minutes here, but it's not a run-of-the-mill fast-food restaurant. You get lush citizens here that are relatively fatty, but incredibly flavorful! Update after 5 years: I still really enjoy going here. The burgers are simply very, very good.

Since we were there for the first time today and various guests who were in the restaurant with us had the same questions: there is no ordering service directly at the table. You order at the front counter, even if you eat in the house. You take the drinks out of the fridge and then the food is brought to you after you pay. Hope this helps some who are there for the first time like us. A lot is ordered for pickup, so you should expect a wait. Best burger I've ever had. And I've had quite a few... Meat from the local butcher, burger buns baked according to your own recipe (and they are awesome) and sweet potato fries that are not soggy and mushy, but really crispy and delicious... A little tip: definitely add the caramelized onions! Bon appetit...

Always worth a visit! Very good "standard" burger in unusual creations. Good ingredients are used that make you enjoy the burger again and again. You only have to expect waiting times at peak times.

The boss should change his employees, you are simply ignored for 10 minutes and only get cheeky answers. And if you ask for mayonnaise you will be laughed at. So something like that doesn't work.

It's been a long time since I've had such a juicy burger. My favorite is the Italy Burger. And finally something is offered specifically for children. Our children don't like salad and vegetables on the burger. Delivery service would be perfect, because eating on site is not so nice.

The best burgers in Heppenheim and the surrounding area. Not exactly cheap in price, but okay. A small but always busy shop. Tip: When picking up, it is better to pre-order by phone.

I recently went to the Beef House for a burger. I found a parking space straight away, the atmosphere was great and you immediately felt at home. The employees were nice and helped me right away with a recommendation for the right burger. I was on my lunch break right at rush hour, but everything happened really quickly. The burger was super tasty, large portion, dips and sweet potato fries were crispy and tasty. Prices are fair and really justified for such service and good product. I'd love to go to the Beef House again. Great place. 😍

Heppenheim doesn't have that many good restaurants, but it does have a really great burger shop! I would also like a monthly changing special burger, always adapted to a current event (Olympia - French burger?) or season (winter burger with cinnamon sauce?, ...). Then there would always be something new but not too often!

Very tasty burgers and especially the sweet potato fries are first class 👍 Unfortunately, there are no menus and the homemade iced tea isn't quite as tasty. All in all, highly recommended ☺️

I'm back again😁. Big burgers and fresh buns. I returned with friends. The burgers are still big and tasty, with good pricing. Single, double or triple patty options. There is about 30 people indoor seating, and orders are placed at the counter Staff is friendly and you can see the food getting grilled.

Stopped spontaneously while passing through. And get great burgers. Also, special requests due to allergies are no problem. Friendly service and tidy store.
