We had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by several negative experiences. A key point for both of us was the vegetarian selection. The veggie patty we tried looked, smelled, and tasted like meat. It almost seemed as if the patty had been cooked in the same fat and pan as the beef. We would have preferred a vegetable, falafel, or cheese patty instead. Another negative aspect was the reception. A blonde woman greeted us with little friendliness when we cautiously asked if we could sit at a different table—not the one she suggested. Our hesitancy was also not rewarded with friendliness when we ordered: "Should I repeat that a third time?" we heard when we didn't immediately repeat everything correctly. Unfriendly corrections of our pronunciation followed when we mispronounced certain dishes we wanted to order. When we asked about the dips, we simply received a curt "You'll have to turn the page and read it." Even when we didn't order another drink later, we felt like we'd done something wrong – accompanied by an unmistakable eye roll as we left our table. It's a real shame, because even though the burgers aren't the best, we would have been perfectly willing to come back – if only they'd treated us kindly. It's the tone that makes the music, and unfortunately, friendliness was lacking at every turn here.

I've downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 3 for the food. Disappointed with the last 3 visits. I think the bacon is pre-grilled: cold and hard. The burger meat isn't as good as it used to be, and I don't think the preparation is as good as it used to be. I visited at 5 p.m. on Friday. I have to get used to one thing: craving burgers doesn't automatically make me go to Beef and Beats anymore.

We wanted to eat tonight. Not even half the seats were occupied. After being assigned a table, we sat for 15 minutes without our order being taken or anyone coming to our table. The waitress sat at a table the entire time, apparently having a private conversation, while the young man from Thesen took care of everything. Even after we said we were leaving, there was no response from the waitress. No matter how good the burgers are, we won't be coming back with service like that.

I had the appetizers and fries for two people. I could make it without a recipe using any deep fryer.

Update today (10/2025). Ordered 4 burgers with fries today for €76. The burgers are still great, and that makes up for the high price – however, the fries bowls were very sparsely filled today (just over 20 fries). For €4.50, that's so annoying considering the cost of goods, that I won't be ordering fries again from now on. From now on, I'll be getting homemade air fryer fries with my burgers, as the price/performance ratio is really outrageous. Therefore, reduced from 5 to 3 stars. It's a real shame that they're scaring away customers to make about 20 cents more profit...

We went there because we heard good things about it, but despite picking it up ourselves the burgers were cold, both chicken burgers had been reheated 2-3 times and were almost completely black and extremely tough, a disgrace for the price, we can't and will definitely not recommend it to anyone, I wouldn't pay a penny for the mini beers that were left there and left standing 5 times so the foam would go away, all in all a complete disaster, bought a burger for 60€ and threw half away, thanks for nothing

The prices are getting ever more expensive. I was shocked at how tiny a portion of Twister is. €5.90 for that? That's a bad joke. We used to enjoy ordering there regularly... but this was the last time.

The staff is friendly, the burgers are solid, and the dips are delicious. We also had a milkshake, which we rather regretted. It wasn't quite cold and was very sweet and somehow didn't taste that good despite the obviously fresh ingredients. That was rather disappointing. On the other hand, the food is very good and served quickly, fresh, and hot. The sauces and dips are very good. A sweet highlight: they serve Hamburg Kiez beer and Kölsch, which suggests a pleasantly open atmosphere. We've been regular customers for years and will continue to do so. We've only had one evening where we were truly dissatisfied; otherwise, everything has always been perfect. (1 out of 35, and that was more related to the cocktails where they didn't taste good, so a clear exception)... so it's definitely reliable.

Great food. Not only the burgers, but also the starters and dessert (cheesecake) are very good! Yes, it takes a while, but good things come to those who wait. Friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere. It was definitely worth the trip.

Today we had another really good burger at Beef & Beats. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait (but the burger was worth it 👍🏻). However, the service was very professional and handled with a charming smile. We'll be back anytime.

The place wasn't particularly busy, but we still had to wait 60-90 minutes for a burger. When I asked about it, the server responded very rudely and unfriendly. The food was okay, but not particularly outstanding, and very expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately the food was very carelessly prepared. Special orders due to allergies were ignored in the kitchen and, after complaints, everything that wasn't ordered on the burger was simply scraped off. Unfortunately, sweet potatoes were black. Waiting time 1.5 hours. The prices were far too high for that. 1 burger with side dish and 1 cola 25 euros.

What's particularly positive is the large selection of different burgers - there really is something for everyone. Regardless of whether you want to eat on site, have something delivered or pick up the order yourself - everything is possible without any complications. The relaxed atmosphere and delicious cocktails further round off the on-site experience. Clear recommendation!

Hmm, this is the third time we've been there, hoping that the service has improved. Unfortunately no and that was our last time. The first time, my husband had his burger 20 minutes before me, and the waiting time was already long. The second time we got there early and waited forever for food. So the burger was always delicious, unfortunately BBQ Sause was missing this time. The fries were okay too, but a small portion of fries for €4.25 for a handful is really expensive. The service, well the service is actually always friendly, just the choice of words when ordering: Do you want something? Hmm, you should think about it. We're really easy going. This time the young lady was unfortunately completely overwhelmed and not really organized. She passed us three times, cleared a table, then wiped it down and took payment. I spoke to her in a friendly manner to order. She had shown us to the place 15 minutes beforehand. When we got our drinks after another 15 minutes, there was no carbonation in my drink and my husband went to the counter to complain about it and was then told: That can't be right, I just opened the bottle. You could see that there was no carbon dioxide in my cola and you could taste it too. After 50 minutes I asked if they had forgotten our food order. Then another service person came and told us that our two burgers would arrive in about 15 minutes and that the drinks would be on the house. A little tip to the staff who take the order, they say that the food will take a little longer. (Even if the restaurant wasn't completely full and some tables were occupied). Since orders are also made outside of home. Then you can think about whether you want to wait longer or go. For a burger order and meal 1.30h is a very long time. Another tip, if there are only two people, get organized and split up, either at the tables, or one makes the order and the other then serves the drinks. In addition, a service person was often not in the bar for a long time. I work alone in the catering trade in a pub with 7 tables with 4 seats each + 12 seats at the counter and another bench for 6 people. So I know what I'm talking about. So pay attention to the organization and the tone and maybe turn the music down a bit so that you can understand when you are spoken to and the guests don't have to address each other very loudly. It's a shame, but three disasters are enough for us, even if the burgers are delicious.

Absolute recommendation for every burger lover. The burgers have impressed us with their quality and harmonious atmosphere for years. The meat is fresh and the rolls are baked by the local baker. With a variety of burger options you can feast your way through or stick to your murder on the dance floor. Every month there is a beef of the month which is adapted to the season and sometimes includes popcorn or truffle mayo in the bun. The team is on the ball and always friendly and makes sure that the cocktails don't run out. All in all, a love that hopefully never ends.

Everything went great, always worth a visit

We had reserved a reservation for our wedding here in 2022 for a larger party. But the reservation was forgotten even though we had reserved 3 months in advance and asked again 2 weeks before and discussed details. That evening we were standing in the restaurant with 14 guests and there was no room for us. We didn't accept the offer to quickly clear something out in a corner because it didn't correspond to our idea of ​​a nice evening together. Instead of admitting the mistake, they tried to blame us because we supposedly didn't confirm the appointment again. I assumed that reservation and asking again beforehand whether everything would work was sufficient. We've been there a few times before and when we were there with more than 4 people we got something that we hadn't ordered twice and due to the delay the rest of what came was rather lukewarm. As an apology we were offered dessert once. However, if there were two of us, the food was good. I have lost trust due to the incident described above and will no longer eat here.

As always, a culinary delight. And always ready on time if you pre-order. Even if you drive there spontaneously and take food to pick up, it doesn't take long.

SANTAS BEEF thrilled 🍔 Beef & Beats really impressed us! The burgers were not only delicious, but also perfectly prepared - juicy meat, fresh ingredients and great flavor combinations. The fries were also a highlight: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned just right. A really great experience where you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. Absolutely recommended! Tip: Try the garlic mayonnaise

Unfortunately, it's a pretty poorly run store that always has surprises in store. We haven't been able to order beer on site several times because the most common drinks ran out early in the evening. Normally every restaurateur would just run to the drinks market to find a solution. During our last visit, we were informed in advance that there were no longer any burger patties and, mind you, at 7 p.m. with only a few guests. Great burger place without beef.

We ordered two burgers to take away. Unfortunately, the burgers and fries are packed in Styrofoam boxes, which is not only unnecessary plastic waste, but also means that the bread and fries are soggy by the time you get home. It only took a few minutes from timely (!) collection to consumption, so I can't recommend taking it with you. Except for the soggy bread, the burgers were delicious.

Hello everyone, Last night we ordered from Beef&Beats again. We were looking forward to it, unfortunately this time it wasn't good, not good at all! Do you have a new chef? Everything was so oversalted that you couldn't eat the burgers 🍔, the onion rings were oversalted and also the twister fries 🍟. Unfortunately they got rid of everything. Sorry for the review, but you can do better!

We came on a Saturday at 5 p.m. and sat down at one of the tables outside. At that moment we were the only guests. A young man stood behind the counter and 2 young women walked "around the corner" shortly after we sat down. Sunglasses up, rocker and cell phone out. We sat there stupidly for probably 15 minutes because the ladies had other things to do. The young man then took pity on taking our order because the two ladies were still calmly standing "around the corner". The tables outside then filled up very quickly. A group of young people sat on the "pallet furniture"...as the ladies had finally decided to return to their work, one said to these guests: I haven't gotten around to getting the cushions out yet - if you want cushions - they're lying around the corner. The guests had to get up and get the seat cushions! How bold is that? Since this wasn't the first incident of this kind we've experienced, it really pisses us off. The food was delicious and fresh - as always... but the service is also part of a nice meal! and once again it didn't exist. I didn't give a tip that evening and one lady mentioned to her colleague about 5 times when she was collecting the money that we had NOT given a tip when she explained the billing to her. You don't do that even if the guest is sitting next to you. We now find it incredibly annoying when we as a guest are ignored (and then wonder why there are no tips around the corner...). We won't be coming back for a while.

Cool place to eat burgers and enjoy the evening there. As a starter you can choose between several finger foods and sauces. Everything was kept very compact but attractive. Instead of just the classic mayo and ketchup, there are different sauces (my favorite is the garlic mayo. Once you have enjoyed the starter, the main course comes. Here again there are cool offers where fries and drinks (iced tea, cocktails, etc.) are included. Of course, you can also just stay classic and order everything individually. You can really try out the hamburgers. Whether you prefer vegetarian, smash, pulled pork, there is something for every man here. The burgers are not too big but not too small either. It's always enough for me so I usually have the rest packed up. Value for money was good. Let's get to drinking. The menu has a varied selection of drinks. If you would rather drink without alcohol but don't feel like drinking water, there are homemade iced tea varieties that are beautifully served. There are also cocktails with or without alcohol, which are also beautifully prepared. I could now list all the other drinks, but I just wanted to mention what I've already drunk. Ambiance: In the restaurant you can eat either outside or inside. The store is well maintained and in good condition. Hello, we ordered from Beef & Beats for the first time today. The delivery time was shorter than stated. The driver was super friendly and knocked on his own initiative out of consideration for the sleeping children. TOP! The burgers were perfect, juicy meat, top pink center, great buns!! Absolute recommendation! Fries are soft due to delivery, no one can help that. Twister crispy 👍🏼 Gladly again, next time we'll come by.

Unfortunately we didn't have such a good experience this evening. The poor waitress was almost constantly on her own, and even though the place was full, it took us about 20 minutes to place our order. Only some of the drinks were brought to the table, the cocktails were ready at the counter for ages, so we got them ourselves. There were lots of small fruit flies swimming in my cocktail, so a new one was immediately made, but it was also decorated with the small animals. On the third attempt, the gentleman also came up with the idea of ​​checking the bottles and mixing a cocktail without flying. The managing director's saying: "It's summer" didn't make things any better. I really had lost my desire for a cocktail. Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm but still tasty. But there were problems here too, the burger could not be ordered as requested because the ingredients were not available. Last but not least, the coffee machine didn't work.

In my opinion I always feel horrible when staff have to ask multiple times due to guests just chatting, but she was so understanding and sweet! Food was great, mozzerrella sticks delicious but what they need is a good marinara sauce to go with them!

Ein Lob an das Beef&Beats-Team. Ich war jetzt das erste Mal mit einem Freund bei Beef&Beats. Uns beiden hat es sehr gut gefallen. Eine überaus freundliche Bedienung hat uns mit viel Aufmerksamkeit durch den Besuch begleitet. Kurz beschrieben: freundlich, zügig, zur Stelle wenn man sie brauchte und lecker war es auch noch. Die Musik war i.O. und in einer Lautstärke, bei der man sich noch gut unterhalten könnte. Fazit: Gerne wieder.... Macht weiter so. 🍔👍😉

Die Burger sind lecker. Die Auswahl an Beilagen reichte völlig aus. Die Getränkeauswahl ist abwechslungsreich. Die Bedienung war richtig nett. Zum Nachtisch bestellten wir Brownie mit Vanilleeis und Schokosoße. Zu zweit eine Portion geteilt. Richtig lecker. Hatten auch noch jeder einen Absacker. Haben alles genossen und mit drei Personen 92,- € bezahlt. War ein schöner Abend.
