Bear Burger in Berlin

We had this restaurant very close to our accommodation in Berlin. We went twice, the first time for dinner. All the waiters were lovely and very attentive. I was with my grandmother, who had a cold, and one of them heard her and offered to make her some herbal tea (free of charge) with homemade remedies. The next day when we went, he did the same. We told him we didn't have time for her to drink it, and he quickly packed it for her to go. They were incredibly thoughtful. As for the food, it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. If I had to highlight something, it would be the curly fries. The waiter recommended them, and it was a brilliant idea; they were amazing. Without a doubt, when I return to Berlin, I'll go back again.

Suprisingly tasty burgers, even the buns were toasted! Decent size, fresh ingredients. Good meal to finish off the day.

A neighborhood classic close to Alexanderplatz. My favorite burgers in Prenzlauer Berg in a nice atmosphere- the owner really takes care. Great vegan and vegetarian options. They’re recently added pizzas to the menu too (and a pizza oven) and have a bartender too.

I ate at Bear Burger on my first night in Berlin and the burgers were so tasty and genuinely homemade that I had to come back to try the pizzas. And guess what? They were just as delicious! We had the Pulled Pork burger, and for pizza I chose the Hollandaise while my boyfriend had the Mista. If you’re passing by, don’t miss it, not only is the food amazing, but the people working here are incredibly friendly too 😋🍔🍕

We have been very comfortable in our visit to bear Burguer. Hamburguers and pizzas are great in this place. Service was great after a hard day of visit to Berlin. We were a group of 9 with kids and were very well attended.

A really great burger joint. The menu is very good, with lots of choices, and the food tastes excellent. A large selection of drinks, including cocktails, and all at very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff! If I'm ever in Berlin again, I'll definitely go back.

Food was ok, but unfortunatley the service let us down as they tried to overcharge us and lie about the bill. They added over €25 to our bill for tap water. When we disputed it the manager said it was from a bottle, when we could see the bar tender filling from a tap (and they did eventually admit this). A real disappointment when the rest of the experience was great. Can't help but feel this place will try rip off any unsuspecting tourist if they can. Would not recommended at all. This restaurant is also removing low scored reviews so I am posting this for visibility.

Good food and friendly service - recommended!

A truly beautiful ambiance and incredibly friendly service. You walk in and are immediately greeted in a very friendly manner. Then you choose a seat, and the waiter arrives promptly, takes your order, and then you wait a short while for the food. I highly recommend the food; it's very tasty and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it; anyone who hasn't been here yet is missing out.

I have always said at restaurants “this is delicious.” This one changed my expectations of restaurants. Cheap but still one of the best burgers I have ever had. Bear Burger is a warm and friendly corner burger spot, not touristy and very near to lodging and transport. The staff are happy and helpful. Best of all the plates are fresh and tasty with a good range of options. Don't skip on the milk shakes!

No revelation, that's the verdict of the lunch break. The ambiance is nice, the seating upstairs is very good for a group, and the staff is friendly. But the burgers are overpriced and boring, and the fries are overcooked. The beef patty tastes of nothing, absolutely nothing. Overall, the burger lacked any kind of pizzazz.

I went to Bearburger with my boyfriend on Wednesday evening – and what can I say: simply amazing! We had the Prenzlauer and the BBQ Burger – both incredibly delicious, juicy, and perfectly prepared. For only €4.90, we also got a really good mojito – great value for money! The staff were really cheerful, friendly, funny, and attentive. To top it all off, we even got a Jägermeister on the house – where else can you get something like that? 😄 Absolutely recommend it – we'll definitely be back! 🍔🍹
