Bayrische Stube in München

This is a good restaurant of a “chain nature”, with the basic Bavarian cuisine you would expect in a restaurant like this. The staff is friendly and nice, but everything takes a fair bit of time. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. The menu is pretty small, so if you don’t like traditional Bavarian cuisine , this probably isn’t the place for you.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the general opinion: It's not really that bad. But good food can be better. Here, you're served ready-made products for a high price. If you've had breakfast at the hotel the morning before, you'll find the same dry rolls on the snack board here in the evening. The cheese spaetzle was edible, although only ready-made products. The roast pork was terrible, just like the bread dumplings. The salad dressing was the best part of the entire meal. This has absolutely nothing to do with good Bavarian cuisine. It's mainly hungry trade fair visitors/exhibitors who are being ripped off.

Super nice staff!!! Praise to Mr. Barletta! Very large portions! Not the best, but still 4/5 stars.

Delicious food (daily menu: roast beef with fried potatoes and salad) and tasty Munich Hofbräu. The Kaiserschmarren was quite clear for the price and still had the potential to be better. Unfortunately the service seemed very annoyed and in a bad mood. In the larger group, we were also displeased by the fact that after half past nine we were no longer asked if we would like something more to drink and by clearing the table, even though we were still sitting in the group, we were indirectly told to please leave...

Good Bavarian cuisine except for the bread dumplings. You should offer the cook a good one so that he knows what the consistency should be, etc. Otherwise very good. The adjustment for children without sauerkraut on the bratwurst at an absolutely fair price was also a nice surprise.

Failure is not enough, the meat is hard and not tasty, and the prices do not match the quality. Give them a wide berth, the empty spaces in the premises are the best proof of its quality. We only went there because of the recommendation of a girl in the same hotel, but it was probably some kind of barter

Rustic restaurant with hearty Bavarian cuisine.

Completely consistent! We were there right when the kitchen opened and so it was pretty empty. The service was quick and so were drinks and food. Afterwards we sat out with our drink and had a cappuccino with Kaiserschmarrn. Everything was super tasty and there was plenty on the plate. The waiter was personable and fun to be around. We would come again and again! :) Thanks for the great evening!

We had a very nice dinner here during our stay at the h4 hotel. Nicely decorated, great food.

An excellent restaurant with great value for money. The restaurant was busy, but we were served very friendly and attentively. An absolute plus point: not all dishes were available at a late hour. The team spontaneously prepared a vegetarian alternative in the kitchen. Nothing more can be added to the first-class service

Inhumane prices and service. Waiter very unfriendly. Price performance totally wrong. I wouldn't recommend. Thank you for your reply. I had a dumpling with a few mushrooms and I had to pay €17.50 for it. So that's far from any reality. In addition, the prices have nothing to do with the unfriendly staff. We won't go there anymore. The food was ok, not really good, but not bad either. Original Bavarian is something different... this is a cheap tourist copy. The worst was the service. I asked him politely if I could still get a place, I was alone. He just reacted annoyed, pointed to a table and said there. Afterwards you didn't get a smile or anything.

I don't understand where these negative comments come from, I lived in the hotel for over a week, ate and drank there like a king, and I have not encountered the cases mentioned below. Judging by the atmosphere and service, one of the best in Munich. When it comes to the chef, he is probably a person with a lot of knowledge, who cooks with passion and heart.

Friendly and open-minded, fast service. A delicious, decent snack with one or two cloudy beers after visiting the trade fair, that went very well. Here you can endure it well and end the day together. The price is a little higher for it right next door. Gladly again

I can't understand the negative reviews. The food was delicious, the staff was absolutely friendly.

Guide to table, menu, serve, payment 1 waitress doing everything in rush time. My family waited over 30min to sit. Got the menu book after 10min. Giving a order after 15min. And then out of stock (pork) in the kitchen. No reason to go there again. Poor staff. You better hire more staff / educate to make smooth turnover. Better anticipate the number of customers and secure stock. Good luck .

Das Essen war leider nicht komplett warm. Die Knödel wurden bestimmt in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt, innen noch kalt. 16,90€ für das Tagesgericht (Schäuferle mit Kraut und Knödel) war preislich OK, die Qualität aber auf jeden Fall ausbaufähig. Eine Cola 0,4l für 6,90€ im Vergleich zum Bier 0,5l für 6,20€ ist unverschämt. Der Service war sehr gut. Das Ambiente innen war OK, der Außenbereich direkt an der Hauptstraße ist nicht so schön.

Die negativen Bewertungen hier kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service schnell und auch gut. Ok, ist alles nicht ganz billig (0,5 l Helles 6,20€), aber das ist halt München und die Nähe zur Messe. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nettes Ambiente, aber das wars. Preis Leistung hat nicht gestimmt. Haxe war sicherlich nur aufgewärmt, da sie so geschmeckt hat. Leider bisher die schlechteste, die ich je gegessen hatte.

Super Restaurant, waren sehr zufrieden. Eine kleine Speisekarte, aber man findet immer etwas.

Schweinshaxe, Kaiserschmarrn, Bier… das rate ich dir… Ein „Sturmerprobtes“ Lokal, das auch 10er Gruppen professionell bedienen kann, innert kürze fast gleichzeitig alle Menues serviert, aufmerksam leere Gläser durch volle ersetzt… leider hat durch durch den Messe-+ Covid - Stress die Freundlichkeit etwas gelitten

Ich hatte ein Schnitzel mit Kässpätzle. Geschmacklich absolut in Ordnung. Portion hätte etwas größer sein können! Jetzt aber der Hammer!!! 0,4l Spezi hat 6,90 € gekostet! Das ist Wucher und ne absolute Frechheit!! Deswegen nur 2 Sterne!!!

Mit Teuer hat das schon nichts mehr zu tun. Wucher ist hier der richtige Ausdruck, wenn man für 0,4 Softgetränk 6,10 € zahlen muss. Bedienung ist nett, Essen solala, Preis-Leistung ganz schlecht.

Gutes Ambiente. Portionen eher klein, aber man kann ja auch Nachtisch bestellen. Lieferung innert Minuten, so schnell habe ich das noch nie erlebt.

Netter Laden, freundliche Bedienung, Gulasch von der Portion her etwas wenig aber Käse Spätzle waren von der Portion mehr als genug. Essen zu kalt serviert. !

OK if you are in a rush or have nowhere else to go. Standard hotel restaurant serving standard food to the standard tourists.

Das Schnitzel und der Leberkäse mit Kartoffelsalat waren lecker, Personal sehr freundlich, aber wenn man richtig viel hunger hat, sind die Portionen etwas zu klein, man braucht dann schon eine Vorspeise, was verhältnismäßig etwas zu teuer ist meiner Meinung nach.

Da ich nach einem anstrengenden Tag nicht sonderlich Lust hatte ewig in die Stadt zu fahren um was ordentliches zu speisen, bin ich hier um die Ecke gegangen. Da mir auch nicht der Sinn nach einem Snack oder Fast Food stand. Das Lokal ist typisch bayrisch eingerichtet, zumindest so, wie es sich Touristen vorstellen, dass es in einem Münchner Lokal auszusehen hat. Aber es ist jetzt nicht kitschig. Sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war auch flink, für meinen Geschmack etwas zu flink. Kaum hatte ich die Karte in der Hand, schon wurde ich nach meiner Bestellung gefragt. Es waren mehrere Kellner zugegen die sich ständig abwechselten. Dadurch hatte ich gefühlt keinen echten Ansprechpartner. Auf mein Essen musste ich auch nicht lange warten. Aber was den Geschmack angeht, würde ich stark auf Convenience tippen. Auch war die Pilzsoße zu meinem Brezenknödel für 12,50 € auch nicht sonderlich der Hit. Leicht säuerlich und die Pilze...naja. Das Glas Maracujasaft mit 0,2 L Inhalt hat mit 3,60 € zu Buche geschlagen. Die doppelte Menge gibt es hier für 6,10 €. Da schluckt man zwei Mal wenn man die Preise zu sehen bekommt. Also Preis-Leistung ist in meinen Augen nicht gegeben.

Sehr gute Restaurant im H4 Hôtel in München (Messe). Bedienung freundliche und unkompliziert. Wir haben bis jetzt ein paar Mal Dort gegessen und es hat uns immer geschmeckt. Service ist schnell. Ganz klar, wir werden wieder kommen. Weiter so

Sehr leckeres Essen waren 2 mal dort und waren sehr Zufrieden. Portionen waren sehr gross kleines Manko die nicht alkoholische Getränke könnten etwas günstiger sein.

Bedienung nicht kompetent und Essen war dem Geld nicht entsprechend.zu teuer für das Angebot.sorry es wurde nicht mal nachgefragt ob alles passt.oder ob man noch was haben möchte.

Wenn man viel Hunger hat super. Gerichte sind groß und liegen recht schwer im Magen. Deftige Küche, qualitativ ok, aber nichts besonderes und auch nicht besonders lecker. Service durchwachsen freundlich und aufmerksam. 2 Tage hintereinander wurde der Beilagensalat vergessen... Senf zur Weißwurst auch nicht automatisch. Wenn man die Aufmerksamkeit des Kellers aber mal hat kommt es schnell. Fazit: für schnelles Essen wärend der Messe ok. Abends oder mit mehr Zeit lieber woanders hin.

Netter und schneller Service, leckeres Essen zu leicht höheren Preisen. Abends gern mal etwas voller durch Hotelgäste. Gemütliche Holzbänke und urige Atmosphäre.
