Today, seven of us ate at the Bavaria Alm for the first time. Service regarding the reservation was excellent. Staff friendly. The food, okay, we've had better. Quite loud, but we could still have a conversation. Unfortunately, this will be the first and last time we eat there. We have no reason to eat there again. The price/performance ratio was rather disappointing.

We had dinner here this early evening. We really enjoyed it. It's very cozy, despite its size. The noise level is pleasant. The food is fantastic. The portions are generous, justifying the price. And Mo is simply the best! You can tell right away how much he enjoys his job. It's always nice to see such a friendly person in the restaurant industry. We'll be back.

I recently ate at the Bavaria Alm – and what can I say: It was a thoroughly enjoyable visit! The food was hearty, delicious, and exactly what you'd expect from traditional Alpine cuisine. The [insert your favorite dish here, e.g., "Schnitzel with fried potatoes"] was particularly spot-on and very tasty. A real highlight, however, was the service: Waiter Mo was super friendly, attentive, and always had a joke on his lips. Despite the packed house, he kept an eye on things and made us feel completely at home. You don't experience service like that every day! The rustic atmosphere and authentic decor make the visit feel like a mini-vacation in Bavaria – right in the middle of the city. Conclusion: If you're looking for good food, friendly service, and Bavarian flair, the Bavaria Alm is the place to be. Kudos to the team – and especially to Mo!

The location is nice and the staff is friendly. The dishes are average, nothing special, and I think the 20.90 per person for brunch is a bit overpriced.

It's always a nice experience to enter the restaurant from the inside. Even in summer you have nice seating on the terrace despite the main road nearby. The food is extraordinarily good for a system catering establishment and wishes out of the ordinary are not left unanswered here.

For anyone who likes Bavarian food, great. The service was very friendly. Food prices are normal, drinks are a little more expensive. The service was great. Unfortunately the food was very poor. The only thing we liked was the bread.

I've never been there. I think the ambiance is nice, but there are some things that could be improved. Inside, there's a picture hanging at the very top of one of the front walls, presumably primitive art? 🤣 It doesn't really fit here. I think we sat in a box, in leather chairs, very comfortable, a good height from the table, very friendly service, the restroom was OK. The terrace is also very good, with plenty of seating. Ate a schnitzel, OK but not great, not crispy, crispy. I'll try the knuckle of pork soon, the fries were good.

Three weeks ago, we made a reservation for breakfast for four people. They offered us a table with bar stools and high benches, which was too uncomfortable for us. When we asked, we were told we should have checked the box in the online reservation to indicate whether we had mobility issues, which isn't the case. Very inflexible, snippy staff. We definitely won't be back!

I love the Bavaria Alm. The food is very good, the ambulance is really nice and cozy, and the service is excellent.

Yesterday I was eating alone in the outdoor lighting. The service was friendly and accommodating, just as you would expect. I could also notice that the mood in the service team is very good, you can only be surprised when the rather slim ladies bring the food with their very large trays and then serve it with one hand in between. I'm not one to get or expect anything for my review, but this is really very good, the only thing you might miss are the mountains and the wide view from an alpine pasture. I'll definitely come here again often.

We had reserved a table a few days in advance for today, May 11th, 2025 (Mother's Day) at 6:30 p.m. Since the weather was quite nice, we asked if we could eat on the terrace. It wasn't a problem, but there wasn't a shady table for us. So we went back to the restaurant and even though we had said that we had already reserved beforehand - there was only a place for us in the middle on the armchairs, or the high tables near the women's toilets. We then decided on this high table by the toilets. I would have liked to know what seat we would normally have gotten. After our order with drinks, starter and main course was taken, our drinks and starters came quickly... then we had to request our main courses three times. The time between starters and main course was too long, we had the food packed up. We were given a waiver of drinks as compensation...but my Mother's Day was a disaster for me.

You can tell it's a chain. Anyone who has ever been to Bavaria will notice that it is not comparable. The quality of the food is average. I was offered Jäger sauce as a watery version. The handling of my complaint was not good. It was claimed that this is always how it is done. Food was made new. Sauce was a little thicker but not the classic Jäger sauce as we know it.

It's nice that it's not pointed out on the "Brunch" page or in the reservation that you only have a time slot of around 2.5 hours for Easter brunch. We were with you today for Easter brunch and my wife's birthday. The plates were only cleared once. Instead, we were told very dryly at 11:37 that we had to leave the table at 11:45. If we were kind enough to take the glasses out and drink them outside. It doesn't work at all. My wife's food almost fell out of her face because her plate was still full. Absolutely not recommended. Worst service in a long time. Just point this out in your reservation, then you can cancel straight away if you don't like it. Hiding this fact in the FAQs is bad form, close to misleading.

Very tasty! Whether it's a crisp salad, a modern burger or the typical Bavarian-Austrian... everything is fresh and comes to the table lovingly prepared. And tastes like vacation! Highly recommended: the Bavarian salad with rocket and chard, beetroot, walnuts, strawberries and goat cheese. Plus freshly baked bread with a subtle hint of caraway and an absolutely great, cracking crust! The Corona hygiene rules are well implemented. Even outside, the tables are a huge distance apart. You have to fill out quite a lot - but that just shows that the Almlers take the protection of their guests seriously. TOP!

I was at your place this morning with my husband for lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, but our waitress was very unfriendly and seemed very uninterested in her work. She was a bit plump and had light brown hair. As we're used to at other restaurants, one should always maintain a friendly demeanor, even if one doesn't enjoy one's work. We also sat for a long time with empty drinks and, since the waitress didn't come back, didn't get a chance to order more. What a shame!

The ambiance hasn't changed; it's still good. The food has now fully adapted to fast-food restaurants! At first, it wasn't so noticeable. It felt like more was being made of it. Brunch is no longer possible. There are two two-hour time slots per table/reservation. Either for breakfast or lunch! This has absolutely nothing to do with quiet, social gatherings. Brunch under time pressure is completely unacceptable! Addendum after reply: When we tried to book, we pointed out that it wasn't just Easter, but also two birthdays. We won't be holding any more celebrations at Bavaria and advise anyone who wants to celebrate there against it. Being able to serve a lot of customers also means a lot of revenue. That's what it's all about! Enjoying brunch under time pressure is a contradiction!

Something different. With a good selection of food and drinks. Even though most of it tastes like ready-made food and frozen food. So not bad, but with potential for improvement. The service is very courteous, friendly and attentive. Typical Bavarian setup, but very loud when it's more than 50% full. Reservation recommended. Larger groups are also possible. Not so much for a “comfortable meal”.

Everything was perfect, but unfortunately it took a long time to eat. That's probably the case when it's freshly made. Still waited over 1 hour. Otherwise super good.

Yesterday we were here again. On the way home we took a short break here to enjoy delicious coffee and cappuccino with Kaiserschmarrn in the pan and with ice cream. It was, as always, delicious.

Very disappointed. The fried egg on the meat loaf was without! Egg yolk. A new one was brought to me. Fried potatoes were lukewarm and bitter (burnt and fried with old oil). The warmest thing about the meal was the fried egg that was brought later!!! Sad how this chain has worn out

Today was the first time and also the last time! Rolls were printed together like a wet sponge and went back to the original situation! The speed at which it was filled was catastrophic. The only ones who really tried were the two women in dirndls. Waited over 40 minutes for coffee before anyone even came.

We reserved a table for 8 people three weeks in advance. When we got there we were told that unfortunately our table had been given to other guests and that there was no other table for 8 people. Instead, we were suggested to put two tables together, next to the aisle. We finally accepted this because otherwise it would have been difficult or impossible to find a table for so many people on a Friday. Ordering drinks was very slow. Additionally, one of the waitresses was very rude, so much so that we even had to complain to another waiter. Of course, something like that doesn't work. We can therefore no longer recommend this restaurant.

Great ambience, nice menu, chronically understaffed therefore slow service, reservation pointless: we reserved a table for 1 p.m. on Sunday lunchtime and were offered 2 bar stools and a bar table. Nothing for a cozy Sunday dinner. We left again.

First impression was good: driendly service, large sitting area, detailled memu with many pictures. But unfortunately it took 45 minutes to serve, with mistakes made. And it is also pretty noisy restaurant. Fiod quality is average, nothing outstanding, but the price is high. I wont come back

As soon as I enter the inn I feel a little closer to Bavaria. The ambience is very nice. The staff is very friendly and, in my opinion, does a very good job. They always try very hard to implement the guests' wishes. The food is very good. I can highly recommend the restaurant and would say see you soon. A reservation is usually necessary. The only note is that it would be nice to get a mug to drink for every beer size, not just the measure.

Five of us were here last Saturday evening and felt very comfortable. Our waitress was always nice and friendly, but we sat for a long time with empty glasses. We would have drunk a lot more, but the waitress rarely came by. But that wasn't because the lady was standing around or anything, she was just really busy trying to serve all the guests. Maybe you should hire more staff, especially on Saturdays. The food took a while, but was consistently delicious. However, I have to agree with many people here. The main food is not hot. It's more like lukewarm. Which is just a shame. There are enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

This was my 6th time here and as always it was great and delicious. Great atmosphere, delicious food, great service, fair prices. I will definitely come by more often :-)

We went to the Bavaria-Alm for Easter brunch on Good Friday, the first time by the way. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and the very rich buffet. In addition to two different scrambled eggs, there were also sausages, bacon, duchess potatoes, salmon on spinach, white sausages, potato soup, smoked pork, turkey and other hot dishes. There was also the usual sausage, cheese, salad and fruit dishes. All around a great brunch buffet that lives up to its name. The only downside, albeit a small one, was the service. Although he tried hard, he was a bit overwhelmed with allocating tables, taking orders and cleaning the tables, but that was all within reason. The restaurant was very clean and looked well maintained, even the toilets were very clean. A very positive thing to mention is the fact that you can click on the accessibility option when reserving a table online. Our conclusion: At least the brunch buffet can be recommended by us without reservation. Edit: After several brunch visits, today was the first time we had a "normal" breakfast on a Saturday. Here too, our conclusion was consistently positive.

We were there for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately we have to agree with some of the negative reviews. Ambience really great! Our waitress was extremely friendly and tried very hard to coordinate everything. But now to the food... lukewarm, Jägerschnitzel with a sauce from the bag🤮very mushy. My girlfriend had a Parmesan dumpling...served lukewarm...not really edible on the inside and at a proud price!

The food was good and plentiful, the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the fairly high noise level, which probably can't be changed since the well-attended restaurant essentially only consists of a huge room with a small gallery.
