Bassanese Haßfurt Bistro Eis Cafe in Haßfurt

Extremely long waiting time. Paid just under 15 euros for a milkshake and toast. My husband wasn't served at all because he wanted to take a look first. Toast for 5.90 consists of two slices of toast, a slice of cooked ham and a slice of cheese. Minimal lettuce (I had to look for it) and a small slice of tomato. Totally loveless and far too expensive. I can't recommend it

I don't normally write reviews. But today’s “experience” at the Bassanese in Haßfurt is definitely worth mentioning. After all, you don't experience it every day. But first things first: Since I had something to do in Haßfurt anyway, I thought I would combine the whole thing with a delicious Italian meal. My idea was a delicious bruschetta, followed by beautiful, original spaghetti carbonara. So off to Bassanese, where I had ordered pizza from time to time in the past or even eaten there. Even before ordering, the first setback: no carbonara on the menu. Unusual for an Italian restaurant, but ok. Let's just take the lasagna. I don't have to say anything about the drink (apple spritzer), as you can hardly go wrong. The bruschetta was some creation of the restaurant, at least not bruschetta. Instead of fresh, toasted baguette, an oval dough was used, similar to the trendy food Pinsa. And then the toppings… diced tomatoes and balsamic were the only thing consistent with a classic bruschetta. No onions, no basil, no spices (!!!). Actually just unseasoned diced tomatoes. Accordingly, the whole thing tasted bland. Instead there was melted cheese, similar to a pizza. But here too, no oregano, no basil, nothing. So the end result had more in common with a pizza margharita than a classic bruschetta. For the “label fraud” and the poor execution, only 2/5 stars. After half an hour (I was really fired up by now and was happy to have had an appetizer) I thought that the lasagna might slowly arrive. Instead, a waiter (not the lady who took the order) came and told me that a colleague had accidentally brought my order to another table, but the guest there didn't notice the mistake and therefore ate my lasagne. And he asked if I would like to have the dish that the other guest ordered instead of the lasagna I had ordered. Of course I didn't want to, when I order something I also want to have what I ordered! Ok, that would take 10-15 minutes if you had to make the lasagna again. I was angry, but agreed. Unfortunately, what came next was inferior in quality to every frozen dish. The top layers were cold even though the cheese was melted. The bottom layer of lasagna sheets was burnt. Respect, you have to get it right first. Anyway, after a few bites I had the channel full and I waved the lady over to the table from the start. When asked whether they were serious about serving something like that after 45 minutes of waiting, including a list of criticisms, she just nodded in agreement. I told her to collect the apple spritzer and the 'bruschetta'. Nod of agreement here too. It should be clear that there are no tips for such an underground service. The lady also didn't ask once throughout the entire visit whether, for example, she wanted another drink. The store was only half full (Tuesday around 6/6:30 p.m.) and the staff was still overwhelmed. Another restaurant would have at least asked if they could get a cappuccino or espresso on the house if the customer expressed their displeasure so clearly. Of course, none here. We always like to go for ice cream in the summer or for coffee and cake at Bassanese in the cold months. In any case, that was the last time that this place saw me (“restaurant” would be a clear exaggeration and a misnomer, at most “bistro” or “snack bar” would be an appropriate description). The ice cream next summer will be available at Buonissimo, 50 meters away. It's a bit more expensive, but the quality and skilled staff are there. In any case, I can only strongly advise against a visit to the would-be Bassanese restaurant!

I really loved my visit to this cafe. The coffee was excellent and of the highest quality. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the cafe was pleasant and inviting. I particularly liked the cozy interior and the quick service. It is the perfect place to relax or have a good time with friends.

I bought my kids two large milkshakes today and paid €16.40. They were good, but I find it an absolute disgrace and, in my opinion, a rip-off. 4 scoops of ice cream with a little milk Could almost... Never again!!!!!!!

Not recommended with children. The “Kinder Surprise” ice cream with the original Ü egg in the picture came with an imitation chocolate egg. A day later we tried it again, the daughter is looking forward to a Pinnochio with strawberry ice cream like it is shown in the picture and in the description. Two scoops of plain cream ice cream arrived. There was no sign of the “strawberry sauce” in the menu either. It's a shame, it used to be nice here. But that was the last time.

Delicious food right in the city center😃👍🏼 This time we chose bruschetta with vegetables and pizza with olives, artichokes and ham. Everything tasted great! Friendly staff, fast service. Thank you very much!😊

It's been many years since I've had spaghetti ice cream. Because of an allergy it had to be vegan. Vegan cream and coconut ice cream, beautifully decorated and delicious.

Service very unfriendly. I had a milkshake and ice cream. Milkshake tasted like two kinds, the machine probably wasn't cleaned beforehand. Ice cream wasn't that great either, there is better.

Overall package fits. Service attentive, pizza good. Nice crispy edge. Ambiance, everything solid and clean. No cheap plastic.

Had an ice cream 3 scoops €5.10 and a milkshake for €6, my friend the same. We were not allowed to sit down and were sent away straight away. (The store was also empty at the time). In any case, very unfriendly staff and they can't do pistachio ice cream either. 👎🏼👎🏼

Unfortunately I was disappointed again. Biggest point of criticism: the service. The first impression is an arrogant demeanor and ultimately very unfriendly. I worked in service myself for 10 years and would never communicate with guests like that. Prices are way too expensive, a scoop of ice cream costs €2.50. Cappuccino watery. There is one star for the ambience and for the cleanliness. Too bad!

The Bassanese used to be really great. Unfortunately, since the staff changed and the boss is no longer on site, things have slowed down considerably. Unfortunately, the waitresses are not that accommodating, I ran out of warm food at lunchtime on Sunday and had ordered toast where the salad was toasted. Too bad

Despite the concert on the market square...everything went smoothly.

The service is disgusting. The menu doesn't match. They don't deliver what is written on the menu. There were no people in the establishment, yet the staff still talked to each other and did not approach. 1/10 What can't be said about their pizzeria 10/10 Smart people and hard workers. They even served us 5 minutes before closing. They prepared pizza for us.

Unfortunately the service wasn't very friendly. Despite several people, it was not possible to push tables together.

It has nothing to do with Italy in Italy if you book a beer you get a tray of appetizers chips peanuts mini sandwiches etc etc. Here is a moratorium and they don't encourage you to drink a beer I can say that they don't represent Italy in Germany I feel sorry for myself and zero

Actually always good service and food but today they really disappointed me. First there was no lasagna (which was not communicated on the phone) then we got rigatoni which was very sour and only a watery sauce that barely covered the bottom. Maybe that was a one-off mistake but I find it unbelievable.

Sehr unfreundlich wenn man fragt ob man bitte den Sonnenschirm auf machen könnte. Man sollte sich dann rein setzten , bekam man zur Antwort. Es gibt auch Menschen die die direkte Sonne nicht vertragen bzw auch ältere. Werde diese Eisdiele nicht mehr betreten. Ist auch eine Schweinerei das Kids vom Tanzen am Straßenfest einen Gutschein für eine Kugel Eis bekommen und dann noch drauf zahlen muss bei einer Kugel vanille Eis.

I now eat here more often or pick something up from time to time. Since the new pizza maker has arrived (I think it's the former Don Camillo's boss???) the food has tasted absolutely delicious! We love eating the Carbonara or Diavola pizza, but the pasta, especially the Bolognese, is also really, really good. Ice cream tastes good too :-)

Good food, nice surroundings, sometimes slight communication problems.

At 10.40 € for 5 balls it borders on thirty. But then hiding other varieties among the others is incompetence for me. The fact that you still find remnants of the previous customer's egg on your balls is, in my opinion, a lack of hygiene. Unfortunately, the unfriendliness of the service has been consistently miserable for years.

I recently went to the Bassanese ice cream parlor in Haßfurt and was unfortunately disappointed. Although the location on the market square is attractive, the price-performance ratio is poor. An ice cream sundae costs a hefty 12 euros, but what you get is more like a plate full of cream than a high-quality ice cream treat. This insolence really annoyed me. I can only advise you to look elsewhere for good ice cream, because Bassanese is not convincing in terms of quality.

We ordered a waffle with Nutella and bruschetta. Unfortunately the bruschetta was the worst thing we have ever eaten. The waffle was okay. The service took a long time to clear plates or pay. The food also took a long time to arrive.

Craziness! The lights are turned off at 9:30 p.m. even though the store is open until 11 p.m. Never experienced such bad staff. No second drink, instead you are asked to pay.

We were outside on one of the first sunny days. Lucky to get a table. Despite the rush, the first waiter came quickly and took the order. His colleague did the same at other tables. The order was brought by him. His reaction to the question of whether we could pay directly left me speechless for a moment: it was a simple no! The Aperol Spritz was OK, although not exactly cheap. Trying to pay was, as expected, difficult. In the meantime, two older women sat down with us and turned a little pale when they looked at the ice cream prices. Conclusion: Service: with all understanding for full utilization, can be expanded. Drinks: OK Prices: in the upper segment

Food good, service friendly, atmosphere OK

Very good ice cream parlor, with delicious ice cream and shakes. The waffles are delicious. Pizza and salad taste like in Italy.

First time there today. Staff very inattentive. We had to go to the counter to order and also pay so that the waitress could come to the table. Staff very friendly. The waiter brought the food from a pizzeria across the street. The plates were carried across the street without a cover and then placed on our table. That doesn't work at all. Portion very small. A 3 in terms of taste. Unfortunately there will not be a second visit.

War vor kurzem mit meiner Freundin am Abend dort. Das Essen ist lecker und bei Getränken wie Aperol oder Lillet bekommt man was zu knabbern dazu, Chips, Erdnüsse, etc. find ich supi :) Da sich das Lokal direkt am Marktplatz befindet, sitzt man sehr schön vorallem an lauen Sommerabenden,wenn man draußen sitzen kann und hat immer was zu schauen ;) alles in allem auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung!

Bellissimo locale all 'aperto nel centro di Hassfurt collegato con un negozio accanto dove si cucina. Le pizze sono discrete ma troppo alte e poco italiane. I camarieri sono sudamericani molto simpatici. Il servizio e" lento per mancanza di personale.

Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter und sehr gutes Eis. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Schade ist nur, das das nicht in meiner Heimat ist ;) - ich würde regelmäßig hier ein Eis kaufen :)

Italienisches Restaurant. Pizza waren für ein original Italienisches Restaurant nicht so toll.

Einfach nur empfehlenswert,man muss am besten online vorab buchen, dies erleichtert den Eintritt enorm

Gemütlicher Platz. Eis war lecker, es gab sogar viele besondere vegane Eissorten, zum Beispiel: Mandel, dunkle Schokolade und Kokos. Auch der Kaffee war lecker und auch hier gab es sogar Hafermilch.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, lecker Eis und Cafe Sorten, dass einzig was ein bisschen störend ist sind die Wespen und Bienen dagegen müsste man was tun, mit Pflanzen oder elektronischen Mitteln, aber sonst super lokal mitten in Hassfurt

Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen und ich kann die teils negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Der Service war sehr gut. Der Service hat uns nicht warten lassen, war freundlich und das Essen kam zügig. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter

Wir sind auf der Durchreise und übernachten hier. Die Pizza und der Salat waren sehr gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen super schnell auf dem Tisch.

Zentral gelegenes Bistro Dieses Bistro befindet sich zentral auf dem Marktplatz in Haßfurt. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, bis zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Wir waren hier mehrfach Essen, da in Haßfurt so gut wie kein Restaurant mehr existiert oder geöffnet hat. Haute Cuisine sollte man hier nicht erwarten, die Pizza kommt vom Pizza -Bäcker auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Eis, Pizza und Nudelgerichte waren ok, das Ambiente schlicht mit kleinen Tischen. Das Service -Team war flink und freundlich, wenn man Spaß an Beschallung durch Auto- und Motorrad -Poser hat, kann man sich auch draußen hinsetzen.

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken. Schöne Lage am Marktplatz.

Toll gelegen, ideal zum Eis-schlecken. Wenn noch das Eis gut wäre. Wir waren zu dritt da und das Eis hat keinen von uns so richtig überzeugt. Schade.

Früher sehr viel besser. Kein vernünftiger trockener Rotwein! Bananensplit ein Unding. Undefinierbare gelbe Soße, dicke, wenig schmackhafte Schokobrocken. Ne. Künftig bestelle ich nur einfach Eis mit Sahne.

Essen sehr gut, aber der Preis für die portionengröße sehr hoch. Service net, vergisst aber manchmal Gerichte oder Beilagen. Man hockt gefühlt auf der Straße und ganz Haßfurt beobachtet einen.

Eigendlich war alles super ,ehrlich ,nette Bedienung alle zuvorkommend aber uns fehlte einfach das Personal vom August 🥰.............zu empfehlen ist es trotzdem in jedem Fall🤗🤗🤗

Man bracht sehr viel Sitzfleisch und Zeit Wir haben heute um 18 Uhr über eine halbe Stunde auf eine Pizza Prosciutto gewartet. Unsere Reklamationen wurden mit “ es wären eben sehr viele Pizzen zum Abholen bestellt worden” sehr gelangweilt beantwortet. Als wir bezahlen wollten, kam die Pizza. Ohne Entschuldigung. Schade. Zur Pizza: Wer viel leicht angeschmolzenen Käse und Tomatensoße auf einem fast ungewürzten Pizzateig mag ist hier genau richtig. Auf Nachfrage gibt es Chili Öl. Die Messer schneiden schlecht.

Gefühlt ist Bassanese in Haßfurt am Marktplatz sehr präsent. Eisdiele, Italiener, Pizzabäcker. Alles getestet und für ganz gut befunden. Freundlicher könnte es sein. preislich auch nicht so günstig und in Summe geht mehr an Qualität und Service
