After waiting 30 minutes, we were informed that one of the items we had ordered was no longer available. We spent about €24 on this item (it was a large quantity). The manager, who was already very rude to all customers, then offered us a nugget box instead. When I asked if a nugget box would also cost around €24, she replied very rudely that she didn't know the prices. It turned out that not even two boxes would have been that expensive. They still refused to give us the money until we clearly stated that this couldn't be right. Then, with gritted teeth, they gave us the money from the cash register. This wasn't an isolated incident during our visit. Other customers were treated very rudely on several occasions.

In the past, on the way from Wiesbaden to Berlin (now from Altenkirchen), this rest stop still felt like a halfway point. So, a stop for coffee and cake or a small snack is simply a must. We love the seats on the terrace. Okay, some people grumble about the prices, but things haven't gotten more expensive these days. We'll stick to "our" rest stop (in every direction).
