Very good food, delicious beer, quick service, great rooms. We'd love to come back.

We have eaten here several times. Unfortunately, the kitchen's performance has declined massively in the last 3 months. Unfortunately also the service. Even though it was really full, we had to wait 20 minutes for a service person to take the drinks. The food took an hour to arrive and was lukewarm. The complaint took again 15 minutes instead of the promised 5 minutes. If I have a large restaurant, I also need the corresponding large kitchen and staff. Neighborhood business people can't wait 60 minutes for their lunch. The companies were known early by reservation. You really have to think about whether you can go with a larger group of 8 people or more. should eat here again if everything takes forever. They were polite and received a fair price and asked for their understanding several times. Nevertheless, something like this shouldn't happen, otherwise word will get around and it will be negative advertising.

The Barfüsser in Göppingen is definitely always worth a visit. The pork knuckle was particularly tasty and the cozy atmosphere contributes to the feel-good atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but it would be great if they asked for more drinks more often in between. All in all, highly recommended!

Ordered the meal of the day, waited a long time. Instead of fried potatoes, warm Swabian potato salad was served with herring without being asked. Overall, far too sour and only edible for diehards. When the waiter complained, he replied that he didn't know anything about it, he wasn't told anything, and there was no sign of an apology. We definitely won't be going there again.

The restaurant is designed for masses of guests, but this time it wasn't extremely busy. The food was, as always, very tasty, as was the beer. The staff is friendly. You like to go there again and again.

Had pork schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce. The schnitzel was ok, but the sauce tasted strangely soapy. Unfortunately the sauce doesn't work at all, what kind of fat was used? And unfortunately the spaetzle were not dipped in butter. Ambiance is nice and staff friendly.

We ate here for the first time. Our first impression was initially positive. We ordered the food and were very disappointed with what you get for the high prices. Pork loin in bacon was completely cooked through and very dry. The Viennese-style schnitzel with cheese spaetzle was pounded far too thin for my taste and the cheese in the cheese spaetzle was only slightly flavorful. The side salad was also far too small for €5.90. What was really tasty, however, was the shandy. We paid just under €80 for this meal, and I think it's too expensive for the quality. Our conclusion: It was ok once, but we won't be back anytime soon.

This was our second time there. The first time there were eight of us, unfortunately everything took a long time and the service wasn't particularly motivated. The second time we sat at a table on the street and weren't served until we left after about 30 minutes. Absolutely incomprehensible, as there are enough staff available. Since we were there with children both times, it may be that children are not particularly welcome. We originally come from Ulm and have always had good experiences with Barfüßer here. Here in Göppingen we won't be going to Barfüßer anymore, as there are a lot of really good alternatives with much better service. The ambience in Göppingen at the train station directly opposite the Sparkasse high-rise is unfortunately without green. In Ulm we liked Barfüßer Glacis and Neu-Ulm on the Danube better in terms of ambience. The food is okay, even if you can eat much better in Göppingen.

Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations at all. The pulled pork in the bowl was over-seasoned with an indefinable spice and the potato salad was warm. (I couldn't eat it) Salad/sauce was the best part of the bowl. My colleague had schnitzel and a dumpling with it. Schnitzel OK, dumpling very dry. Too bad!

We were there for the first time on Sunday lunchtime with a reservation. However, reservations were not absolutely necessary as there was enough space. If the weather was good, you could sit outside. Staff was friendly, food and drinks came quickly. Quality of the food was good for a brewery, high chairs for children are available. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, so you can definitely spend several hours there with friends. We'll definitely come back again. In terms of price, we spent around €56 for 2 meals and 5 drinks.

We recently visited the restaurant and ordered two pork schnitzels and two turkey schnitzels. Unfortunately, the portion of the turkey schnitzel was significantly smaller than that of the pork schnitzel, even though both were offered at the same price. The turkey schnitzel portion was more comparable to a children's portion, which is disappointing for the price. There was also lipstick visible on my Aperol spritz glass. When I asked for a new glass, the drink was merely transferred to a new glass instead of being completely replaced. The staff's reaction seemed annoyed and unprofessional. This practice raises questions about the restaurant's hygiene standards. Despite our complaint about the schnitzel, we weren't even offered a schnapps on the house, which we also found to be outrageous. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Good restaurant that is centrally located in the middle of Göppingen. I can recommend Grandma Traudl's Schwabenteller, it's super good. 👍🏽

Relaxed atmosphere and something for every taste. Price performance is right and the service is ok. Everything is barrier-free. Underground car parks are within walking distance.

Great ambience, nice and quick service, food also good. Good space design. The pork knuckle was as it should be, super crispy and delicious! The coleslaw that went with it was also a poem! The menu is also beautifully designed. Delicious, special beers and schnapps to choose from. Prices in general, as usual today, but everything is still reasonable and not exorbitant. The only small negative points on my first visit were that our reservation was not in the system even though we had made the reservation in person on site a few days before. Luckily the places were still free. Otherwise it would have been really stupid because there was a big birthday to celebrate. Some of the other people's food was rather lukewarm. Spaetzle also looks different to me and probably comes from a retort... In any case, the brewery is a big plus point for Göppingen! When you're in it, it's easy to forget that the Göppingen train station is just a few meters away. Definitely recommended! I'd love to come back!

I usually go to this place to eat more often. Today it was very hot and I wanted to sit outside because there were 100 tables outside. Two thirds were completed. Unfortunately, the others were already occupied. When I asked the service staff if I could sit outside, I got the answer. No, they are closed. Find the mistake! It's a bit rude to say something like that to a guest Instead of getting the key and unlocking two or three tables again. You'll never see me again.

The dishes taste very good, the pork knuckle and the Brauhaus Schnitzel are recommended. Otherwise friendly staff and quick service. The beers brewed in-house taste excellent. We'll be back.

The place is huge and looks very nice. I tried their famous schnitzel and wasn't super excited, a bit too greasy, not crispy, but the taste was good. The other day I went back and had the flamkuche which was excellent. So all in all a good place for a bite or a drink, i will definitely come back when in the neighbourhood.

We have never been to the restaurant before. In short... the service is a complete disaster. Inattentive (the restaurant lives from sales and not from “standing with its feet in its stomach”), unfriendly, ignorant of table culture, inexplicable statements on the menu… The service staff is more interested in communicating their own top stories from their private lives with each other, although one table showed itself several times that he had an “order” after 15 minutes of waiting (the restaurant was occupied by 6 tables and 9 waiters ) would like to give up and a table next door had to get up several times to place their own order at the drinks counter…. If the restaurant had been full, I completely understand. When you asked the “restaurant expert” (a trained person, mind you, confirmed after request) that the table opposite would like to order, their eyes were rolled in a disrespectful manner!! The customer is no longer king for a long time, but that even made our hearts swell as patient guests. Conclusion: we could go further, but it's not worth it! We won't be visiting the restaurant anytime soon. Everyone in the service segment deserves a second chance. But not for now. Tip: the operations manager (if there is one) should care more about the employees. In any case, paid workers do not revel in bringing in sales….

Zum zweiten Mal dort gewesen in der Hoffnung, dass es sich was geändert hat. Von Verbesserungen hält der Inhaber wohl nichts. Dafür gibt es jetzt diese schlechte Bewertung: Das geht überhaupt nicht,es werden einem Fertigsossen von Feinfix serviert. Spätzla von der Verpackung (sind voll wässrig),Kartoffelsalat kurz in der Mikro warm gemacht.Ich hab das Personal darauf angesprochen kurz darauf sprach ich das Personal nochmals an,was der angebliche Chefkoch dazu meinte. Antwort: Der Koch ist heftig am rühren der Sosse und verdünnt sie etwas,damit man es nicht mehr so herraus-schmeckt die Fertigsosse. Ich bin selber Koch,dass wäre meine Entlassung gewesen wenn ich sowas meinen Gästen anbieten würde. Preis Leistung passt überhaupt nicht!!!

There is now this bad review for this: It doesn't work at all, they serve ready-made sauces from Feinfix. Spätzla from the packaging (they are completely watery), potato salad warmed up briefly in the microwave. I asked the staff about it. Shortly afterwards I spoke to the staff again about what the supposed chef thought about it. Answer: The cook is busy stirring the sauce and dilutes it a little so that you don't taste the finished sauce so much. OK... in Göppingen there is a much better restaurant in the same scene with good service. Barfüßer is not an asset for Göppingen.

Wir waren mit 9 Personen zum Essen am Samstag Abend. Sehr schöner Platz mit bequemen Stühlen. Essen, Getränke und Bedienung wie immer sehr gut. Können und werden Euch weiterempfehlen. Waren jetzt auch schön öfters da und waren immer zufrieden. Macht weiter so 👍👍

Sehr freundliches Personal (Emanuel) Kurze Wartezeiten auf unser Essen. Online Reservierung super geklappt. Service perfekt, aufmerksam. Kommen oft hier hin, wie immer Toll.

Everything in one is as good as usual. But in direct comparison - and that is the closest reference for me - barefooters in Ulm and Reutlingen are a lot better. Classics like schnitzel are good and fresh, but in RT and Ulm they are much thinner, prepared a little more delicately and also give the impression of being a little higher in quality. Unfortunately, the potato salad was good at best, but unfortunately not particularly fresh. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was great as usual. All in one, of course, good, but there is still some room for improvement 👍

We went to the Barfüsser in GP for the first time for a small family celebration. What a great restaurant. Super delicious food and great service. I would particularly like to praise our waiter Giacomo, he took great care of my grandchildren. All wishes were fulfilled and no one said anything when the little ones got angry. He really looked after us well. The food was very, very tasty and rich. We'd love to come back.

It was our first time at Barfüsser in Göppingen. Saturday afternoon with the whole family including 3 children/toddlers. Our waiter Giacomo was simply a dream. Such a warm and courteous person...just great. He really responded to the children and gave us all great advice. The food was simply great, even small special requests were no problem at all and were made possible after a short consultation with the kitchen. We'd love to come back as soon as we're in the area again.

Unser Platz diesesmal war angenehm (hinterer Bereich Richtung Toilette), wir konnten uns gut unterhalten. Die dicht besiedelten Plätze am Fenster bzw in 2. Reihe am Fenster sind (nach meiner Erfahrung) deutlich lauter. Service war auf Zack. Es wurde in regelmäßig gutem Abstand immer nachgefragt ob alles i.O. ist. Nachbestellungen wurden zügig gebracht. Wir kommen wieder

Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat waren nicht gut, Zwiebelrostbraten war ok, jedoch die Spätzla nicht. Preis-Leistung hat uns dieses Mal nicht überzeugt

The selection of drinks - especially the four home-brewed beers, including a dark one - as well as the classic Swabian dishes, complemented by a range of tarte flambée, together with the friendly service leave nothing to be desired. Very nice atmosphere in the stylishly furnished brewery ambience. The food was super tasty and well prepared. The waiting time was absolutely fine. BUT: The service is a completely incompetent total failure. At first we were ignored for fifteen minutes, even though there was hardly anything going on in the early afternoon. The food order appeared to be taken correctly, but was delivered incorrectly twice. I ordered an Almburger with salad and no cheese. First they came with fries and on the second attempt the cheese was still on them. After the meal, the plates were left on the table for about half an hour before they were cleared away. It's a shame - the service here ruins the good food to some extent. Because that wasn't the first time today that all the waiters seemed a little sleepy.

I ordered pork knuckle with dumplings and cabbage, plus extra sauce. It wasn't a problem that I paid more because of the extra sauce. When I got home I saw that there was no cabbage, the order form said cabbage and dumplings. The food itself was great, just a shame without cabbage. I was looking forward to the cabbage, had it before, very tasty.

The atmosphere is really nice, unfortunately I can't say anything more positive. The price is not justified for the quantity/quality and when you ask the waitress whether the food is homemade, they remain silent. However, the worst thing is the service. People prefer to chat rather than serve, even though there are a dozen waiters present, but they prefer to have group conversations. The food or drinks don't come together and you have to wait over 10 minutes for the rest of the food to be brought to the table, even though they were ordered together. It's also not particularly helpful that the waiters only gossip about the guests as soon as you walk past or complain about how little tips you get from the stingy people. This clearly doesn't belong in the dining room! In summary it was not a nice experience and yesterday was the first and last time we visited this restaurant.

Great brewery, with super nice service, good food, good beer, especially the beer. Tasting is absolutely a recommendation, you can easily park in the underground car park opposite, at fair prices, just like here in the Bauhaus, I would be happy to come back and spend another nice evening here.

It isn’t easy to travel somewhere where you know minuscule words of the native language. It’s even harder when you’re doing it in your own. Noel and the staff were so incredibly welcoming, the best I’ve experienced thus far in all of Göppingen and Esslingen, and I can’t wait to go back to not feel like such a stranger in a strange land. Prost!

Mooi ambient in het centrum van Göppingen. Op aanraden van het personeel van het Holiday Inn Express in Göppingen zijn we hier eerst iets gaan drinken en gaan proeven van de verschillende biersoorten die hier gebrouwen worden. Een echte meevaller. Gezien de schotels die geserveerd werden aan de naburige tafels besloten we voor de avond een tafel te reserveren. Geen overbodige luxe zo bleek want het toch niet kleine lokaal zat stampvol. Het eten was inderdaad heel lekker en het waren geen kleine porties. Het personeel was en bleef niettegenstaande de drukte heel vriendelijk. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
