Thursday lunchtime around 12 p.m., the restaurant wasn't really full, the service was very unfriendly, it took an eternity for her to come, and when I asked for the weekly menu, she said there was probably a blackboard in front of the entrance door, then I should go to the door now?? When she brought the drinks, she threw the lids on the table with a whim... that just doesn't work! Food was great as always! Clearing the empty plates took forever, as did paying! If you have that kind of energy to work with, at some point you'll stay away, despite good food!

I went to dinner this evening, I was unhappy with the waitress (with short hair and glasses) at the entrance, totally rude and not friendly, how can you work with people and be like that? Luckily there is only her who is so rude, the other waiters are super helpful.

First visit with schnitzel was good! Yesterday pork knuckle: Expensive, dry, small, warmed up! The competition is much better there! We were told that it was warmed up in a special oven, but that was nothing! They thought the knuckle was in the deep fryer to warm up, a real shame! New 11/12.10.24: 2 days 70th birthday! Everything was great, we put a lot of effort into it! Everyone friendly! Food was great in everything! Keep it up!

Have been there several times now, the atmosphere is very nice and the waitresses are very attentive. Unfortunately, the food has been very bad three times now. The schnitzel was partly undercooked, the beef roulade was completely over-salted and the potato salad tasted anything but satisfactory for a brewery in Swabia. The gravy also tastes of caraway but that may also be a matter of taste. I also don't find the beer selection particularly diverse for a home brewery. I can only recommend the cheese spaetzle and the tarte flambée. As I said, I've been there a few times and unfortunately was rather disappointed.

First of all, the food and drinks are really good, both in terms of selection and taste. Inside, the Barfüsser is very stylish and attractively furnished. Due to the location, the outside area is nothing special. Planting and privacy screens might be an upgrade. The would-be show drivers who loudly drive their tuned cars down the street at maximum volume will want to throw their beer glass onto the windshield after the third time, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. That's why I always like to come there and enjoy the home-brewed beer and the other delicacies on the menu.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately the portions are a bit small. The service was good, unfortunately the prices are a bit on the higher side. The interior design and ambience is tasteful and pleasant.

Quite okay Eating in the lounge takes some getting used to. Drinks are good, the food tastes good too. What's not right is that the side salad and the children's meal were served 9 minutes after everyone else had eaten and the soup was served a full 12 minutes later... There were 5 of us and the restaurant wasn't full...

We went for lunch today. There was cutlet with rosemary röstie and herb butter. You're almost at a loss for words. Never woke up so hungry. Only the herb butter was available in sufficient quantities. The meat, I would guess less than 30 grams without bones, was also tough. Hopefully that was the exception otherwise you can't give the store much longer. Even the waitress agreed with us and even she was embarrassed to serve something like that. In retrospect, the only thing that annoys me is that I didn't take a photo.

Getränkebestellung und Essen hat etwas länger gedauert - aber bei der angespannten Personalsituation in der Gastronomie akzeptabel. Sehr gut finde ich, dass der ganze Tisch mit 8 Personen nahezu gleichzeitig sein Essen bekam. Sehr gerne wieder!

Das Personal war stets bemüht aber überfordert 3 Stunden für 4 Essen ohne Vor - und Nachspeise sagt viel aus. Nach zwei Reinfällen wars das für mich

Wir wurden wie immer sehr freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geleitet. Trotzdem dass es etwas voll war wurden wir sehr zuvorkommend bedient und die Wartezeiten waren absolut akzeptabel. Ein großes Lob an das Service Team!

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal in dem man sich wohl fühlen kann. Das Essen war genau nach unserem Geschmack und war wirklich sehr lecker. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend und wir kommen gerne wieder, auch wenn es beim Service minimal gehapert hat. Es wäre perfekt, wenn öfters jemand an den Tisch kommen würde. In unserem Fall haben wir teilweise sehr lange gewartet, bis jemand kam und wir etwas nachbestellen konnten. Insgesamtes Fazit: Daumen hoch!

We have eaten here several times. Unfortunately, the kitchen's performance has declined massively in the last 3 months. Unfortunately also the service. Even though it was really full, we had to wait 20 minutes for a service person to take the drinks. The food took an hour to arrive and was lukewarm. The complaint took again 15 minutes instead of the promised 5 minutes. If I have a large restaurant, I also need the corresponding large kitchen and staff. Neighborhood business people can't wait 60 minutes for their lunch. The companies were known early by reservation. You really have to think about whether you can go with a larger group of 8 people or more. should eat here again if everything takes forever. They were polite and received a fair price and asked for their understanding several times. Nevertheless, something like this shouldn't happen, otherwise word will get around and it will be negative advertising.

Ordered the meal of the day, waited a long time. Instead of fried potatoes, warm Swabian potato salad was served with herring without being asked. Overall, far too sour and only edible for diehards. The Barfüsser in Göppingen is definitely always worth a visit. The pork knuckle was particularly tasty and the cozy atmosphere contributes to the feel-good atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but it would be great if they asked for more drinks more often in between. All in all, highly recommended!

The restaurant is designed for masses of guests, but this time it wasn't extremely busy. The food was, as always, very tasty, as was the beer. The staff is friendly. You like to go there again and again.

Had pork schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce. The schnitzel was ok, but the sauce tasted strangely soapy. Unfortunately the sauce doesn't work at all, what kind of fat was used? And unfortunately the spaetzle were not dipped in butter. Ambiance is nice and staff friendly.

We ate here for the first time. Our first impression was initially positive. We ordered the food and were very disappointed with what you get for the high prices. Pork loin in bacon was completely cooked through and very dry. The Viennese-style schnitzel with cheese spaetzle was pounded far too thin for my taste and the cheese in the cheese spaetzle was only slightly flavorful. The side salad was also far too small for €5.90. What was really tasty, however, was the shandy. We paid just under €80 for this meal, and I think it's too expensive for the quality. Our conclusion: It was ok once, but we won't be back anytime soon.

This was our second time there. The first time there were eight of us, unfortunately everything took a long time and the service wasn't particularly motivated. The second time we sat at a table on the street and weren't served until we left after about 30 minutes. Absolutely incomprehensible, as there are enough staff available. Since we were there with children both times, it may be that children are not particularly welcome. We originally come from Ulm and have always had good experiences with Barfüßer here. Here in Göppingen we won't be going to Barfüßer anymore, as there are a lot of really good alternatives with much better service. The ambience in Göppingen at the train station directly opposite the Sparkasse high-rise is unfortunately without green. In Ulm we liked Barfüßer Glacis and Neu-Ulm on the Danube better in terms of ambience. The food is okay, even if you can eat much better in Göppingen.

... Und wieder einmal ein ganz, ganz großes Lob an die 3 Mädels im Service... Superfreundlich... Kompetent.... Schnell... Einfach Top. Auch das Essen wieder 1A+... Wie immer eben 😊... Was uns tierisch genervt hat, war die Großfamilie 2 Tische weiter, deren Kinder die ganze Stunde in der wir anwesend gewesen sind, geschrieben, gebrüllt, geweint haben. Auch wildes Herumrennen zwischen den Tischen hat die Eltern nicht gestört... Wahnsinn... Das ist dann doch etwas zuviel anti autoritäre Erziehung für unseren Geschmack... Dafür kann Barfüßer nichts... Allerdings sollten sich die Eltern schämen, sich so zu benehmen... Schade dass es eben auch solche Gäste gibt... Wir hoffen nächstes Mal ist es wieder besser... Schönes Ambiente , sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr leckerer Kartoffelsalat 😀 Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Insbesondere die Falafel Bowl ist zwar fein aber für den Art des Inhalts und auch die Menge arg überteuert und der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Ansonsten wurden wir freundlich bedient und hatten einen gemütlichen Abend.

Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations at all. The pulled pork in the bowl was over-seasoned with an indefinable spice and the potato salad was warm. (I couldn't eat it) Salad/sauce was the best part of the bowl. My colleague had schnitzel and a dumpling with it. Schnitzel OK, dumpling very dry. Too bad!

Nette, aber sehr laute Location, mit bemühtem Personal. Allerdings haben wir ewig auf unser Essen gewartet. Essen schmeckte gut. Eine Sparte mit Seniorenportionen wäre auf der Karte hilfreich. Eine schnelle Entscheidung beim Vorlesen der möglichen Optionen ist für viele nicht so leicht.

Alles gut allerdings sollte bei den Salaten auf die Qualität geachtet werden hatten leider zwei Salate bestellt die nicht mehr ganz so frisch waren - auf den Hinweis das dieses nicht so sein sollte kam die Antwort : Die Salate werden so geliefert!!! - jedoch sollte bevor angerichtet wird die Qualität nochmals überprüft werden. Trotzdem bleiben wir dem Barfüßer treu.....

Unserer Meinung nach stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Das Essen war zwar gut aber kleine Portionen. Auch meinem Mann sein Schweinebraten war kalt ebenso die Knödel. Er forderte daraufhin eine extrem heiße Sauce, da er das Essen nicht zurückgehen lassen wollte. Die Sauce kam fast erst dann, als er schon mit dem Essen fertig war. Der Sommersalat zum Beispiel ist für diesen Preis keine angemessene Portion. Auch das mit gelieferte Baguette war kalt, dies könnte man warm servieren. Alles in allem werden wir nicht wiederkommen. Der Barfüße in Memmingen ist dagegen super.

Definitely recommended!!! Very nicely constructed, conditions very nice. Had a turkey schnitzel “Viennese style” with spaetzle, it really tasted excellent. Price performance is okay.

Perfekte Dressings für Salate. Meine Mädels könnten von Pommes nicht genug haben. Es lohnt sich wirklich Gerichten mit Pommes zu bestellen, die Preisleistung ist mehr als fair.

Service, Essen, Ambiente waren hervorragend. Für meinen Geschmack hätte die Hauptspeise (Ochsenbäckchen) etwas wärmer sein können. Zudem bin ich bei der Mehrzahl bäckchen auch von zwei Stück ausgegangen und nicht von einem.

We were there for the first time on Sunday lunchtime with a reservation. However, reservations were not absolutely necessary as there was enough space. If the weather was good, you could sit outside. Staff was friendly, food and drinks came quickly. Quality of the food was good for a brewery, high chairs for children are available. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, so you can definitely spend several hours there with friends. We'll definitely come back again. In terms of price, we spent around €56 for 2 meals and 5 drinks.

We recently visited the restaurant and ordered two pork schnitzels and two turkey schnitzels. Unfortunately, the portion of the turkey schnitzel was significantly smaller than that of the pork schnitzel, even though both were offered at the same price. The turkey schnitzel portion was more comparable to a children's portion, which is disappointing for the price. There was also lipstick visible on my Aperol spritz glass. When I asked for a new glass, the drink was merely transferred to a new glass instead of being completely replaced. The staff's reaction seemed annoyed and unprofessional. This practice raises questions about the restaurant's hygiene standards. Despite our complaint about the schnitzel, we weren't even offered a schnapps on the house, which we also found to be outrageous. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Es war wie immer alles perfekt! Sehr leckeres Essen und mega freundliche Bedienung! Macht weiter so! Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente ist wirklich wunderschön, die regionale Küche ist hervorragend und das Personal ist äußerst freundlich. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass die Polizei öfter präsent ist, um die Personen, die die Straße als Rennstrecke nutzen, zu kontrollieren. Es ist störend, wenn man abends draußen sitzt und das köstliche Essen sowie die leckeren Getränke genießen möchte.

Auf den ersten Blick umfangreiche Speisekarte.Wenn man jedoch Salate und Flammkuchen abzieht, wird die Auswahl klein. Im Hochsommer wenig kalte Speisen,eigentlich nur Wurstsalat.Traurig. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht i.O.

Great ambience, nice and quick service, food also good. Good space design. The pork knuckle was as it should be, super crispy and delicious! The coleslaw that went with it was also a poem! The menu is also beautifully designed. Delicious, special beers and schnapps to choose from. Prices in general, as usual today, but everything is still reasonable and not exorbitant. The only small negative points on my first visit were that our reservation was not in the system even though we had made the reservation in person on site a few days before. Luckily the places were still free. Otherwise it would have been really stupid because there was a big birthday to celebrate. Some of the other people's food was rather lukewarm. Spaetzle also looks different to me and probably comes from a retort... In any case, the brewery is a big plus point for Göppingen! When you're in it, it's easy to forget that the Göppingen train station is just a few meters away. Definitely recommended! I'd love to come back!

Hallo zusammen, wir kommen einigermaßen regelmäßig in den Barfüßer und sind eigentlich bisher immer echte Fans gewesen. Am gestrigen Sonntagabend war es jedoch anders, als sonst. Die (Sommer-)Salate waren so gut wie überhaupt nicht angemacht, sehr trocken und haben niemanden an unserem Tisch überzeugt. Meine Kalbsfrikadellen schmeckten - wie der Kartoffelsalat - nach nichts. Auch die sog. 'Schwarzbiersoße' - die wir sonst mehrfach nachbestellt haben - erinnerte eher an eine Tütensoße, als an etwas von einem professionellen Koch Hergestelltem. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war hingegen in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente wie immer prima. Wir wissen nicht, ob Ihr den Koch gewechselt habt, oder was gestern los war - jedenfalls waren die 141,00€, die wir bezahlt haben, den Besuch nicht im Entferntesten wert. Schlecht beraten. Riesengroße Portionen Salat waren nicht abgeraten. Deswegen 3/4 Salat waren ins Müll geschmissen. Mein Hauptgericht Geschmorte Oxsenbäckchen

Immer wieder gerne! Gut für größere Gesellschaften und besonders, dass man sonntags durchgängig warmes Essen serviert bekommt. (Wir konnten erst ab 14.00 kommen , da haben andere bereits wieder geschlossen)

Auf der Internetseite wird groß beworben, dass alle Em-Spiele gezeigt werden. Über eine Woche vorher reserviert, um ein Spiel im Restaurant zu schauen…. Uns wird ein Tisch angeboten, von wo aus man kaum auf die Leinwand sieht… wir bitten um einen anderen Tisch, bekommen wieder einen unmöglichen Tisch angeboten und müssen zum zweiten Mal reklamieren, angeblich sind alle Tische, von denen man gut auf die Leinwand sieht reserviert, während des Spiels füllen sich diese Tische jedoch nicht…. Wir haben für über 100 Euro konsumiert, das Essen kam lauwarm, die Sicht auf die Leinwand letztendlich mittelmäßig …. Vom total gestressten Personal wird man den ganzen Abend angepampt. Ich komme nicht mehr wieder…

The brewery is modern and comfortably furnished. The receptionist could be a little friendlier - after all, that's the first impression. The dishes taste very good, the pork knuckle and the Brauhaus Schnitzel are recommended. Otherwise friendly staff and quick service. The beers brewed in-house taste excellent. We'll be back.

The place is huge and looks very nice. I tried their famous schnitzel and wasn't super excited, a bit too greasy, not crispy, but the taste was good. The other day I went back and had the flamkuche which was excellent. So all in all a good place for a bite or a drink, i will definitely come back when in the neighbourhood.

We have never been to the restaurant before. In short... the service is a complete disaster. Inattentive (the restaurant lives from sales and not from “standing with its feet in its stomach”), unfriendly, ignorant of table culture, inexplicable statements on the menu… The service staff is more interested in communicating their own top stories from their private lives with each other, although one table showed itself several times that he had an “order” after 15 minutes of waiting (the restaurant was occupied by 6 tables and 9 waiters ) would like to give up and a table next door had to get up several times to place their own order at the drinks counter…. If the restaurant had been full, I completely understand. When you asked the “restaurant expert” (a trained person, mind you, confirmed after request) that the table opposite would like to order, their eyes were rolled in a disrespectful manner!! The customer is no longer king for a long time, but that even made our hearts swell as patient guests. Conclusion: we could go further, but it's not worth it! We won't be visiting the restaurant anytime soon. Everyone in the service segment deserves a second chance. But not for now. Tip: the operations manager (if there is one) should care more about the employees. In any case, paid workers do not revel in bringing in sales….

Zum zweiten Mal dort gewesen in der Hoffnung, dass es sich was geändert hat. Von Verbesserungen hält der Inhaber wohl nichts. Dafür gibt es jetzt diese schlechte Bewertung: Das geht überhaupt nicht,es werden einem Fertigsossen von Feinfix serviert. Spätzla von der Verpackung (sind voll wässrig),Kartoffelsalat kurz in der Mikro warm gemacht.Ich hab das Personal darauf angesprochen kurz darauf sprach ich das Personal nochmals an,was der angebliche Chefkoch dazu meinte. Antwort: Der Koch ist heftig am rühren der Sosse und verdünnt sie etwas,damit man es nicht mehr so herraus-schmeckt die Fertigsosse. Ich bin selber Koch,dass wäre meine Entlassung gewesen wenn ich sowas meinen Gästen anbieten würde. Preis Leistung passt überhaupt nicht!!!

Went there for the second time hoping that something had changed. The owner probably doesn't think much of improvements. There is now this bad review for this: It doesn't work at all, they serve ready-made sauces from Feinfix. Spätzla from the packaging (they are completely watery), potato salad warmed up briefly in the microwave. I asked the staff about it. Shortly afterwards I spoke to the staff again about what the supposed chef thought about it. Answer: The cook is busy stirring the sauce and dilutes it a little so that you don't taste the finished sauce so much. I'm a chef myself, and that would have been my dismissal if I offered something like that to my guests. Price performance doesn't fit at all!!!

Wir sind nicht zum ersten Mal im Barfüßer, das Essen ist gutbürgerlich und auch bezahlbar. Am Sonntagnachmittag gab es noch genügend freie Plätze. Sehr schade was dass die Nachtische bis auf die Eiskugeln nicht mehr verfügbar waren. Naja das schmälert den Gesamteindruck deutlich, am späten Abend kann man damit rechnen, aber nicht schon am Nachmittag. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sehr gut hier und das Bier ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
