Lunch is available until 3 p.m. We've tried several times now around 2 p.m. to get the dishes on the lunch menu, but unfortunately they've always run out. I recently called in advance (at 1.30 p.m.) to see if we could still get the food from the lunch table, but lo and behold - everything was already gone!! This seems to be poorly organized in this finale. In any case, I will avoid the Göppingen branch in the future. Too often bad experiences and mistakes were not corrected

This evening we had dinner at the Barfüsser Brewery without a reservation. Very modern and chic furnishings. Nice and quick service. Usual menu for a brewery. We had the Wiener Schnitzel with spaetzle and a side salad. Very tasty, fresh and rich. Very good price-performance ratio. We'll be back!

The wild garlic dip was missing from my meal. Otherwise very tasty.

Lukewarm food, allergy and additives not present in the menu. Is very important for people suffering from allergies. Like with us where there was nougat ice cream on the menu and hazelnut ice cream with the apple crumble. We should have asked if we asked. An absurdity. Otherwise everything is okay so far.

You can easily reserve online. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and taken to our table. The atmosphere and furnishings were great. You feel very comfortable despite the size. The food was very good. Portion and price absolutely okay. The service was very nice and accommodating. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back! Update: Everything was fantastic the second time too! I can't understand the bad reviews...

First the good. Ambiance is really pleasant. Service was overwhelmed and more or less ignored me after I expressed a request. Schnitzel was good. Spaetzle probably came from the bag but the potato salad took the cake. The fact that it comes out of the bucket and isn't homemade seems to me to be bad for the image of a "traditional" company. There really are also acceptable ones out of the box. Only this potato salad is an absolute no-go for me as a Swabian. Were there once and won't go there again.

The best schnitzel I've ever enjoyed, nice and crispy, juicy and huge! The cheese spaetzle was just so delicious and cheesy that I could come over every day! The peach-elderberry tea was also incredibly good and of course refreshingly sweet, not as sugary but nice and mild as it should be. The beer is also good to treat yourself to and is recommended, there are a few varieties to choose from. If you're in the area and want to treat yourself, you definitely have to stop by here!

Hearty southern German home cooking of good quality and very tasty, that's what you get at the Barfüsser Restaurant Göppingen. Rustic furnishings with lots of natural wood offer a cozy atmosphere. Service works well and unobtrusively. We really enjoyed our repeated visit!

Deftige süddeutsche Hausmannskost in guter Qualität und geschmacklich sehr gut, das gibt’s im Barfüsser Restaurant Göppingen. Rustikale Einrichtung mit viel Naturholz bietet ein gemütliches Ambiente. The food tastes very tasty. Come here again and again. The ambience is beautiful. The meal takes about 15 minutes at lunchtime and about 30 minutes in the evening. Probably a lack of staff. Highly recommended!

Disappointing experience - long wait and warmed up food We ate at Barfüße with the family yesterday and unfortunately had a very negative experience. We ordered at 7:30 p.m., but even after over an hour - at 8:45 p.m. - our food still wasn't there. Only after we asked was it finally served. Unfortunately it was immediately clear that the food was not fresh. The fries were soft and reheated, the schnitzel looked like it had been fried again, and the onion roast was cold inside while the sauce was just poured over it. It seemed like they had forgotten our order and tried to cover it up with warmed up food. To make matters worse, communication within the team seemed to be poor. We were transferred between tables and suspicions arose that our food had originally been delivered to the wrong table. The employee in charge went into the kitchen several times and finally came with the statement: “Then we’ll just do it like this.” Ultimately, two dishes were taken off our bill, but we still had to pay over €74 for this disappointing meal. 1 hour and 40 minutes waiting time for warmed food - that is simply unacceptable. A truly disappointing experience that we have never had before!

The food tastes good and didn't take long to arrive, portions are generous, the beer is delicious. Unfortunately, Kaiserschmarren is a finished product and not caramelized. Unfortunately the service lacks a bit of motivation.

I've never been served such a horrible meatball. The cheese spaetzle that came with it was good.

I haven't eaten something so bad at such an overpriced price in years. I would be ashamed to pay €20 for an Alpburger with a small salad and then use everything from the package and frozen products. Service just as miserable. 25 minutes in an empty restaurant because the waiters preferred chatting to doing their work! Once and never again. Every snack bar is better

A restaurant for food, beer comes as a side dish

Unfortunately, once again the food wasn't even remotely worth the money. Possibly the wrong choice on my part, but it has already been so bad several times that we have decided not to give the barefooted animal another chance.

Very tender knuckle and the sauce was strong. Was very tasty. The service could have been more attentive.

We were there with 10 people on Sunday. 4 wanted schnitzel with fries in a small portion. What came? Chicken schnitzel. The staff's statements as to why varied. We only criticized it after the meal and the four of us got dessert on the house. The staff also apologized. The food was ok.

Ordentliches Essen, sehr gute Hausbiere! Die Portion ist ausreichend! Cordon bleu mit Obatzda! Gewagte Kombi aber sehr lecker! Die Biere sind handwerklich sehr gut!

Modern and attractively designed restaurant. The service staff was characterized by friendly and attentive behavior. The dish (redfish with potato salad) was solid home cooking.

We were here for the first time today. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was very friendly and quick. Not a long wait from ordering to eating. We liked it here.

Wir kommen schon sehr oft in das Lokal. In den letzten Monaten hat der Service immer mehr nachgelassen. Man hat das Gefühl das man nicht beachtet wird. Erst nachdem wir eine Kellnerin direkt angesprochen hatten, konnten wir unser Essen aufgeben. Am Nachbartisch stand über ne Stunde das dreckige Geschirr noch auf dem Tisch. Leute am Empfang mussten 10-15 Minuten warten bis ihnen ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde. Das Telefon klingelt dauernd ohne das einer der Kellner den Hörer abgehoben hat. Fazit: Das ging schon einmal viel besser. Strengt euch wieder an, dann kommen wir auch wieder.

A year ago the schnitzels were even bigger and cheaper. Non-alcoholic drinks are already in the upper price segment. The taste of the food is good, the waiting time is short.

Not possible to get a table without a reservation. That's what happened to us personally. That's why we reserved well in advance this time. Everything went well online. Ideal location, city center, center of the train station. Nice ambience, nice furnishings, well maintained and clean. Tables have enough space and are clean. You can have a conversation. Service staff very nice, fast and friendly. The barefoot was average. As a group we had burgers, fries, bowls, cheese spaetzle and turkey schnitzel. Everything was fine and good, only the cheese spaetzle and the schnitzel were not tasty, nor were they bad or particularly good. The schnitzel was clearly too small for €18.90. The cheese spaetzle weren't really warm and didn't really taste like good cheese either. You won't get full with the portion of schnitzel + cheese spaetzle. The drinks were good and the price was completely reasonable. I wouldn't necessarily have to go back for dinner. I would personally like to try and test the lunch menu. It's an average shop, nothing goes wrong and nothing particularly good or outstanding when it comes to the food and ingredients. P.S was there again yesterday, same problem, the poultry schnitzel was still raw inside, the cheese spaetzle wasn't really warm, and the "Cola" tasted strange. I can't recommend the schnitzel to anyone.

Four of us were guests at the Barfüsser in Göppingen on January 13th, 2025. Our order consisted of an Ochsenbäckle, cheese spaetzle with salad and twice half duck with red cabbage and dumplings. Unfortunately, the food was consistently disappointing. The half duck in particular, which is quite expensive at 25 euros, did not meet expectations. Instead of half a duck, there were only two small pieces of fillet, while the red cabbage was served in an excessive amount - presumably so that at least it would fill you up. The rest of the portion was overall very sparse. We paid 140 euros for four dishes including drinks, and yet we all remained hungry. We would have expected much more for this price. A visit to Barfüßler in Göppingen is no longer an option for us. Thank you.

Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ( Bier ). Essen bestenfalls durchschnittliches Niveau, nicht schlecht aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Preise für die angebotene Qualität in diesem Einzugsgebiet deutlich überteuert.

Weiß nicht , warum manche Menschen soviel schlechte Bewertungen schreiben?! Die Service war sehr gut, das Essen ( die Schweinshaxe ) war warm genug und hat lecker geschmeckt! Der Preis ist auch okay. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Despite the size of the guest room, it is very comfortably furnished. The service was very friendly and obliging, but not very attentive. The taste of the food was mediocre (I had the roast pork with dumplings). The portion was large. The price was okay. Overall it's ok, but I don't need it often now.

I had dinner here today...so...the ambience is good. Could be a little more comfortable, but it fits. The service is absolutely fine, friendly etc. There is nothing to complain about. That fits. Now for the food...you know what's boring...that's exactly how the food was...boring...I was looking for the taste and unfortunately I couldn't find it. What I mean by German cuisine is something different. Unfortunately, the fact that sauce powder is used here has to be expected today. If you already use it, you can at least refine it and give the sauce a note... so it's just the run-of-the-mill powder sauce from Maggi, Gefro or Tellofix... that you can taste. You could try a little harder. Everything tastes a bit bland. Spaetzle is virtually tasteless. They look like spaetzle, unfortunately without any taste. Meat...phew...it can always be worse. Spice? None. When you think of breading, you or I imagine something different. This is just as much of a misstep. In terms of taste?....yes you chewed...and that was it....culinarily boring...I couldn't find anything positive about the food. If there is actually a trained chef there, I should be ashamed of myself. This has nothing to do with culinary art.

Wir waren schon öfter im Barfüßer und auch immer recht zufrieden! Nur gestern fanden wir, dass es ziemlich nachgelassen hat. Vor allem an den Portionen, die für einen hungrigen Mann definitiv zu wenig sind. Wir hatten die halbe Ente mit Blaukraut und Knödel. Die halbe Ente waren zwei kleine Stücken Fleisch ein Haufen Blaukraut und zwei Knödel, und das Ganze für rund 25 Euro pro Gericht. Geschmeckt hat es gut aber der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt! Fazit…auch hier wird gespart und die Last wird auf den Gast abgewälzt … sehr schade.

We were at Barfüsser Göppingen yesterday and had an evening that we won't soon forget! A huge thank you to Simon and Tamina, who gave us great service - so warm and attentive, it couldn't be better! The two are an absolute dream team. The food was great, the beer flowed naturally, and the atmosphere was simply brilliant. Particularly noteworthy: card payments are possible without any problems, the toilets are sparkling clean, and the service is simply unbeatable. We rocked the place and had more fun than we had in a long time. Thanks to the whole team for a perfect evening – we will definitely be back!

Wir mussten einen Cappuccino der zum Nachtisch bestellt wurde drei Mal reklamieren bis er endlich kam. Auch wurden wir nicht mehr gefragt ob wir noch etwas nachbestellen wollen. Das war sehr ärgerlich...

Die Bedienung musste immer wieder gerufen werden, um Bestellungen aufzunehmen. Das Essen selbst war durchschnittlich, der Semmelknödel vom Schweinebraten war zu kompakt und gesamte Essen war lauwarm und nicht heiß. Der Braten selbst war schön zart.

Haben einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht und sehr gut gegessen. Leider waren manche Gerichte nur lauwarm.

Wir hatten eine Reservierung für sechs Personen in diesem Restaurant. Nach unserer Ankunft mussten wir fast zehn Minuten warten, bis sich jemand um uns kümmerte. Währenddessen fiel uns auf, dass der Bildschirm am Eingang alle Reservierungen anzeigte. Als schließlich eine junge Dame kam, um uns zu platzieren, wies ich höflich auf unsere Reservierung hin. Zu meiner Überraschung reagierte sie ärgerlich und wies mich scharf darauf hin, dass ich nicht auf den Bildschirm schauen dürfe. Ich entschuldigte mich sofort und versicherte ihr, dass dies nicht meine Absicht gewesen war. Doch anstatt die Situation zu beruhigen, setzte sie ihre Vorwürfe fort und verglich mein Verhalten damit, ihr über die Schulter auf ihr Handy zu schauen. Dies war eine äußerst unangenehme und peinliche Situation für uns. Wenn es den Gästen nicht erlaubt sein soll, den Bildschirm zu sehen, sollte dieser entweder gesperrt oder nicht unbewacht bleiben. Danach wurden wir nicht einmal direkt zu unserem Tisch begleitet, sondern es wurde nur auf einen Bereich gezeigt, wo wir Platz nehmen sollten. Nach dem Hinsetzen warteten wir rund 30 Minuten, ohne dass auch nur jemand unsere Getränkebestellung aufgenommen hätte. Enttäuscht standen wir schließlich auf und verließen das Lokal. Unser Besuch war eine große Enttäuschung, und der Anlass, den wir feiern wollten, wurde dadurch völlig verdorben. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant aufgrund dieser negativen Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen und werden definitiv nicht zurückkehren.

Nachdem uns der Platz angewiesen wurde, habe wir 35 Minuten gewartet, ohne dass jemand zu uns kam, um die Getränke oder Essensbestellungen aufzunehmen. Ich bin dann auf eine Bedienung zugegangen und habe sehr höflich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir gerne Getränke bestellen möchten. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten weiteres Abwartens bin ich dann auf eine andere Bedienung zugegangen und habe das Problem noch einmal geschildert. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten des Wartens ohne Reaktion haben wir dann das Restaurant verlassen.

zu wenig Personal führte zu langer Wartezeit schon bei den Getränken. Essen wanur lauwarm an den Tisch gebracht worden und Fleischqualität für den Preis minderwertig. Ochsenbäckchen, die zu 25% aus Fett bestanden. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und werden so schnell nicht mehr kommen. Die Bedienung trifft KEINE Schuld, es ist zu wenig Personal vor Ort.

Alles bestens - " wie immer " Jedoch gab es ein kleines Manko-die Burger waren diesmal leider schon um 19:30Uhr ausverkauft. Aber sonst alles super

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Portion hätte allerdings aufgrund des Preises etwas größer sein können. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und auch sonst war der Service sehr aufmerksam. Leider wird man wenn man zu zweit ist immer nur an kleine Zweiertische gesetzt und muss erst um einen größeren Tisch nachfragen.

Super Ambiente, netter junger Mann als Bedienung. Trotz Hektik super freundlich geblieben. Essen total lecker, Portionen mehr als ausreichend.

I've been a regular there since it opened, but what I experienced there today was humiliating and insulting to me. When we arrived at 7 p.m., despite many empty tables, we had to wait until a very unfriendly Anastassia showed us to a table People were talking so loudly at the next table that we asked for another table...this was then commented on by Anastasia in a very and unfriendly way: you can be lucky that you got a place...without a reservation...the restaurant was already half full at that time empty...we didn't get another table. My companion and I are 71, respectively. 65 years old...I have never experienced such disrespectful treatment in any restaurant. Otherwise, I have always experienced very friendly, caring staff there...what a one person can destroy it in one evening...unbelievable.

Ate together with the family. It was very tasty and the portions were generous too. The children were even given crayons to draw with and a sheet to color on. Top service, top value for money. We'll be back. Last visit on December 28th, 2024, I didn't like the service at all! Therefore 5 stars are gone. A young guy and very impatient. The biggest hit: He didn't want to offer us alcoholic beer 🍺 in advance. We're in a brewery! What's wrong with your staff... Just because we had black hair or how should I understand that? If that happens again, another star will be deducted. ;)

Heute Abend trotz guter zeitlicher Organisation im Vorfeld (Tisch-Reservierung von 18:00 Uhr auf 18:45 Uhr verlegt), eher mittelmäßig. 45 Minuten auf Kellner warten kann auf jeden Fall verbessert werden, da wir eine Kleinfamilie sind. Sonst, Essen und Trinken alles richtig und lecker!

Having to have unnecessary discussions because we didn't want to sit at the high table. We had reserved a standard table for 6 people. Only when we decided to leave were we allowed to sit at one of three free tables. We stayed for about 3 hours, the other 2 tables remained unoccupied. Then why the discussion?

An der Qualität vom Essen muss noch gearbeitet werden um die Preise zu rechtfertigen. - Spätzle waren wässrig - In der Bratensosse waren gehackte Knoblauchstückchen und nicht wenige, das hat die Sosse geschmacklich verfälscht. - Semmelknödel in der zu kleinen Schüssel war unbequem zu Essen. Nachtisch Kaiserschmarren auch nicht geschickt zu Essen aus der kleinen Schüssel. Besser wäre sicher eine Präsentation auf dem Teller gewesen. Die Löffel waren wohl alle, wir bekamen Espressosöffel zum Desert. - Die Dampfnudeln waren keine Dampfnudeln, eher Buchteln. Es fehlten auch die Zwetschgen. Wir hatten einen Tisch (Standard) reserviert. Als wir ankamen wollte man uns einen der Hochtische geben. Als wir diesen Tisch ablehnten hat man sich nicht kundefreundlich verhalten. Wir bekamen eine Belehrung, die anderen Tische seien bereits reserviert. Erst als wir sagten das wir woanders hingehen können, sollte es ein Problem sein uns einen normalen Tisch zu geben, wies man uns 'normale' Plätze zu. Wir waren ca. 3 Stunden dort und es waren 2 Tische für je 8 Personen den ganzen Abend frei. Daher die Frage warum so Sturr darauf beharrt wurde uns an den Hochtischen zu platzieren? *Bei der Reservierung ist nicht erkennbar welchen Tisch man bekommt, somit ist das auch nicht vom Gast auswählbar* Lecker waren die Maultaschen, Kartoffelsalat, die Schwamerlrahmsosse und das Eis.

Also für 14 Personen reserviert sogar Telefonisch, bekommen haben wir so eine Art Hochtische mit Barhocker. Essen Wartezeit ca.90min Geräuschpegel war ok. Meine Frau hat Osenbäckle bestellt die waren aber ungenießbar als ich mich beschwert habe hat man sie nur mitgenommen mit dem Komentar er gibt in der Küche Bescheid. Bezahlt hab ich trotzdem den vollen Preis. Schade waren immer zufrieden bis jetzt. Gut für die lange Wartezeit haben wir ein Heißgetränk bekommen. Werde mir trotzdem zweimal überlegen ob wir da nochmal hingehen.

Das Ambiente war Hervorragend die Bedienung sehr schnell, kann das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schönes rustikales Ambiente, wir waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag da und hatten Reserviert. Sehr nette Bedienung und super leckeres Essen. Natürlich muss mann mit etwas Wartezeit rechnen da das Restaurant gut besucht war. Wir werden bestimmt noch ein Mal wieder kommen.

Von vielen Besuchen war dies der schlechteste. Noch nie, auch an kritischen Feiertagen mussten wir 80 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Das war Hardcore. Nun werden wir wohl eine Weile andere Lokale bevorzugen. Wir werden jedoch einen längere Besuchspause einlegen. Schade. Freundliche Grüße

Essen war gut. Schade das die Weihnachtskarte jedes Jahr die selbe ist.

Die erste schlechte Erfahrung auf OpenTable. Wir hatten vor einem Monat einen Zweiertisch für den 23.12. reserviert, 18 Uhr. Wir kamen dann sogar früher. Es war 16.30 Uhr, die Gaststätte leer. Wir wurden zu einem Tisch neben der Theke unweit der Küche gebracht. Am Nebentisch faltete das Personal Servietten und unterhielt sich. Wir fragten, ob wir nicht an einen anderen, etwas gemütlicheren Tisch gehen könnten. Es gibt ja ca. 80 Tische dort und fast alle waren leer. Die Antwort war, das gehe nicht. Kurz drauf kam eine andere Bedienung. Auch sie lehnte unseren Wunsch barsch ab. Als wir insistierten, verzog sie den Mund und entgegnete sichtlich widerwillig, dann werde sie eben fragen. In dieser Atmosphäre, an einem Tisch neben der Theke und - riechbar - neben der Küche und mit Bedienungen, die weder professionell noch freundlich sind, haben wir beschlossen zu gehen. Wir wollen Freude haben, wenn wir ausgehen, keinen Ärger mit unwilligen Bedienungen. Detail: Man konnte auf OpenTable für den gesamten Zeitraum noch freie Tische reservieren und als wir zwei Stunden später - nach einer leckeren Pizza gegenüber - am Restaurant vorbeigingen, war es nach wie vor halbleer.

Spontan 2 Personen essen gehen, sehr gut geschmeckt, kommt immer sehr gern wieder.

Waited 3/4 hour for food, no drinks. The food arrived cold, probably prepared 3/4 hour ago. The service was nice and friendly, but totally apologetic. Tables not cleared, and dirty at lunchtime! Actually, the entire offer is terribly bad for the money. Hey manager, motivation is lacking with the constantly changing staff. If it continues like this, I wish you a nice bankruptcy.

Leider war der Service an diesem Tag nicht sehr gut, es dauerte immer sehr lange, bis wieder Getränke bestellt werden konnten. Der Platz war für 5 Personen zum Essen sehr knapp. Ansonsten freundliches Personal, Essen gut

Insgesamt eine runde Sache. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben als gern gesehener Gast.

Es war wie immer alles perfekt! Sehr gutes Essen, gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne wieder.

We ordered 2x half duck in orange sauce with dumplings and red cabbage - the sauce was disgustingly inedible!!! It's a disgrace to serve something like this to paying guests for dinner!!! Oh yes: the price for it...the crowning glory! I'd be happy to pay a little more for good food, but I wouldn't eat that and there again for free! The staff is running like crazy in this uncomfortable mass processing! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Drinks and service are good/tasty and quick. The selection of food and drinks is sufficient. Everyone will find something there. The food could be a little better here, then 5 stars are fully deserved. The ambience matches the location (Brauhaus). You get what you expect.
