Überzeugt mich leider gar nicht. Die Pfifferlinge in Rahmsauce ohne Geschmack, Knödel winzig, Salat ohne Pfiff..... Brot zum Salat war trockenes Baguette einzeln abgezählt ..... irgendwie lieblos alles.

ein sehr nettes Lokal, sehr aufmerksame und freundliches Servicepersonal. Das Menü kam sehr schnell, war sehr gut. Gerne wieder

Wurden von Agata bedient, essen war wie immer super, die Bedienung war ausgezeichnet, selten so schnell freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient worden

wir gehen manchmal und genießen uns Bier und dazu essen wir Kleinlichkeiten wie Pommes oder Dessert. Personal sehr freundlich.

Die Bedienung ist sehr schlecht. Die schauen nicht um sich, ob ein neuer Gast da ist der bestellen möchte. Selbst nach einem Handzeichen von mir um zu bestellen bestätigt durch ein nicken der Dame, ging nichts,ich habe 13 Minuten gemessen mit der handuhr gewartet .,dann bin ich gegangen und habe mein Geld anderswo ausgegeben. Ich meine ;die verdienen ihren Lebensunterhalt mit dem Bedienen Aber so nicht. Das Problem ist hauptsächlich im Aussenbereich, zur Sommer Zeit.

Ich war gestern mit meiner Frau und einer Freundin von ihr hier essen, gestern war wirklich alles ausgezeichnet obwohl der Laden brechend voll war. Leider kann ich das von dem heutigen Aufenthalt nicht behaupten. Es wurde Essen vergessen, unser Tisch wurde, nachdem ich mich beschwerte, ignoriert, es kam keine Entschuldigung seitens der Kellner und das obwohl der Laden heute vergleichsweise leer war. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von dem heutigen Aufenthalt.

Waren gestern dort, hat uns sehr gefallen 👍👍👍 super nette Bedienung, vor allen schnell. Meine Bestellung konnte man kombinieren das ist auch super. Wir waren zu viert und bei einem Menü war etwas being Fleisch (Rinder Bäckchen) aber sonst super lecker. Schweinshaxe mit Spargel dazu viel holendes und Braten Soße Rinder Bäckchen mit Spätzle Zwiebelrostbraten mit Spätzle Zwei Frikadellen mit käsespätzle Leute weiter so UND DAS BIER IST EINFACH DER HAMMER, Blonde oder Weizen 🍺👍😋

Waren bereits öfters dort, jedes Mal wieder war es sehr gut.

Essen war wieder richtig gut, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Kommen immer wieder gern.

Ich war nur dort auf nen Bier auf der Durchreise. Biel war lecker Bedienung müsste die eine noch an sich arbeiten. Ob ich da essen würde wüsste ich nicht

Leider wurden die Flammkuchen von der Karte gestrichen. Saisonale Spargelgerichte können die leider nicht ersetzen.

Wir waren anfangs 10 Personen und es wurden schließlich 18 Personen, vielen Dank für die Flexibilität

Lachs ist kein Rind, Gemüse ist kein Obst und Spätzle sind keine Knöpfle. Unsere Speisen waren super, gleichzeitig war die Enttäuschung gross. Es gab keine traditionellen Spätzle, sondern ,abweichend zur Speisekarte, waren es Knöpfle.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wir waren am Freitag 4 Personen zum Essen da war das Essen gut 👍🏾 Heute 6.4.2026 haben wir auf 16:30 Uhr reserviert(Sechs Erwachsene drei Kinder). Wir hatten verschiedene Menüs, Zuerst kam das Essen für die Erwachsenen und dann für die Kinder. Eigentlich ist es umgekehrt. Das Essen war nicht so, wie wir es kannten. Nein, es war noch schlimmer. Die Käse Spätzle waren kalt und im Wasser getränkt, und den Käse konnten man suchen. Wir haben es dann mitgeteilt, und es hieß, die Kinder würden einen Boppel Eis bekommen. Damit ist aber Das Essen immer noch nicht bekömmlich und ich denke das war unser letzter Besuch. Für so viel Geld, einen sehr schlechter Service. Und die Bedienung Isidore war unfreundlich, Klar kann sie nichts für den Koch, aber die Freundlichkeit zu uns Gästen hätte sie beibehalten können

Essel leider so der Hit. Mutmaßlich viele Zutaten, Soßen und Beilagen mit Fertiggerichten gemacht. Schade wäre zu schön gewesen.

Unser Tisch war um 17:30 Uhr reserviert und um diese Zeit war noch nicht sehr viel los, vermutlich deshalb auch eher ruhig vom Geräuschpegel. Sowohl Getränke, als auch das Essen wurden schnell und zeitgleich an den Tisch gebracht, sodass wir als Gruppe (13 Leute) gemeinsam mit dem Essen beginnen konnten. Das Essen selbst war gut und preislich in Ordnung. Es ist Systemgastronomie und darüber sollte man sich bewusst sein, wenn man bestimmte Ansprüche oder Erwartungen hat. Der Servicemitarbeiter war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war kein Problem die Rechnung am Ende aufzuteilen und getrennt zu bezahlen, per Karte oder Bar. Alle haben sich wohl gefühlt und wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Abend. Danke an das Team der Barfüßer Brauerei in Göppingen.

Ich empfehle den Köchen dringend, den Salzgehalt ihrer Speisen zu reduzieren. Im Grunde empfanden alle in unserer Gruppe das Essen als zu salzig.

Sehr schönes, moderat modernes Ambiente. Gute Abteilungen, da sehr großes Restaurant. Sehr gemütlich. Essen nach Speisekarte, wahrscheinlich bei allen "Barfüssern" relativ gleich. Essen daher oft fraglich, da in Ulm gleich wie in GP? Beispiele: Weißwürste von "Magnus Bauch", München. Nicht schlecht, sondern Spitzenqualität! Aber Knödel waren hart, wie aufgetaut. Trocken. Ich denke, man könnte das Level steigern, das können die!

There's an alternative L'Osteria across the street... The food was as good as expected – the price-performance ratio was definitely okay. The service was a disaster – first, the server who escorted us to our table and had to bring a highchair seemed annoyed with her job, and later, the other server simply dismissed two hairs in the food as "okay".

The spring bowl was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Personally, I found the space a bit too large and therefore noisy, but that's just my impression. Nevertheless, I'd gladly come back anytime.

After it first opened, the food here was really good. Now, the price doesn't reflect the quality. I had beef cheeks, half of which was just a layer of fat; my colleague's was fine. After complaining, the curt reply was, "Tell the kitchen."

We've been to Barfüßer several times before – but after this visit, it will definitely be our last. There were four of us (two adults and two children), and we were shown to a table. Unfortunately, due to a massive odor (an extreme smell of sweat from the next table), it was absolutely impossible to even begin to relax and enjoy our meal. When we politely asked for a different table, our request was simply refused – even though the restaurant was only about a third full at the time, and there were plenty of free seats available. This level of ignorance and lack of service is truly unparalleled. This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable. This is definitely not what customer service looks like. In short: Such an inflexible and indifferent approach to guests is unacceptable. We will certainly not be returning.

Great atmosphere, food, drinks and service. Totally recommended.

Combined with a night at the RiKu in Göppingen, I had dinner here. From the welcome to the meal, everything was perfect. I opted for the Brewmaster Bowl, and it was a great choice. The bowl was incredibly varied and absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the beer from their own brewery. It's just a shame that only the "Blonde Helles" is available to take away. I would have loved to buy a complete set with the other beers.

Short waiting times, very fair prices, and consistently good German food. Even though it's a chain, you can tell the quality – a solid place for a relaxed meal.

Wir waren zu viert zu Gast und unser reservierter Tisch war ganz am Rande des Restaurants. Das Essen und die Getränke waren wie immer herausragend. Bedingt durch die Entfernung war die Servicekraft, gegenüber früheren Besuchen, weniger präsent. Auch wurde nicht nachgefragt ob wir noch einen Nachtisch möchten oder noch weitere Getränke. Gegenüber unserem letzten Besuch stimmte jetzt auh wieder die Größe der Portionen. Das Barfüßer ist ein gern genutzter Anlaufpunkt für uns für kleine Feiern im Familienkreis.

It's actually a good restaurant, and I've enjoyed eating there in the past. I ate there yesterday and had them pack up the leftovers (I didn't pack them myself). When I opened the package to eat the rest, I found a hair in the food.

Unfortunately, our visit yesterday was our first and last time. We had to wait ages for service, the food wasn't really hot, and there was far too little sauce on the braised ox cheeks. Overall, the food was more bad than good. The server never even came to our table so I could order more. Our table wasn't cleared until we were already leaving. All in all, a complete disaster.

We've eaten at the Barfüßer restaurant in Göppingen several times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Unfortunately, today's visit was anything but satisfactory. We had reserved a table for 7:00 pm. At 7:30 pm, we were told that there had been a problem with our order and that the food would take a few more minutes. At 8:00 pm, we were told again that the food was still being prepared. Ultimately, we didn't receive our food until 8:15 pm. Such a long wait, despite our reservation and multiple inquiries, is truly disappointing. Unfortunately, the food wasn't even hot; it was lukewarm. In addition, aside from a brief apology, there was no attempt to make amends or offer any compensation for the long wait. We found this very disappointing, especially since we've always had good experiences there in the past.

The food and service are excellent, but the light above the table is far too bright.

Good place. Good food. Fair prices, no on-site parking, and a bit of a standard menu. (But good home-style cooking.) I don't understand why there's caraway in the gravy. Not everyone likes that. The burgers, roasts, and salads are very good. My wife loves the bowl there. I wouldn't call it exceptional, though. Just like the Osteria across the street isn't exactly an exceptional pizzeria. You have to earn 5 stars, right? 😉

Wir waren zu dritt hier zum Essen. Die Speisen waren sehr gut, aber das Dessert, ein Apfel-Crumble, war eine Enttäuschung und hatte mit einem Crumble wenig zu tun. Es war ein Küchlein aus einem geraspelten Apfel in einer Art Rührteig, der leider nicht ganz durchgebacken war und viel zu süß. Das Nougateis und die Sahne dazu waren o.k. Die Bedienung kam relativ schnell und die Getränke auch. Auf das Essen mußten wir etwas länger warten. Die Gäste an den Nebentischen, die nach uns kamen, wurden wesentlich schneller bedient. Auch als wir zahlen wollten, dauerte es über 30 Minuten, bis endlich Jemand kam. Das Lokal war nicht sehr voll und eigentlich auch genug Personal vorhanden.

I went there for the first time yesterday and had pork knuckle and their home-brewed beer. Everything was delicious, so I highly recommend it.

I was there on January 12, 2026, and ordered the Brauhaus Burger. The burger was great. I had fries as a side dish. However, they were very pale and half-raw inside. I complained about this and received new fries. But the second time, the fries were exactly the same as the first time – half-raw. 🤷‍♂️ The staff were very friendly and attentive. Top marks! 👍

The restaurant itself looks very cozy and modern. Unfortunately, neither the food nor the service were convincing. The food wasn't particularly tasty, and the service left much to be desired. We were very surprised to find that we had to pay €2.50 per plate for eating a cake we had brought with us. While the owner was accommodating and only charged us for six plates, we still found it odd to charge guests extra for plates. We were also not allowed to light a candle on the cake, which we couldn't understand, as no explanation was given. Overall, our visit was disappointing. Due to the poor quality of the food, we won't be returning.

Ambiente ist schön. Bedienung war bemüht aber kümmerte sich wenig um Getränke . Essen war z.T zu klein wie das Hüftsteak. Essen kam recht zögerlich, so dass nan nicht gemeinsam essen konnte. Ein Essen wuede vwrgessen.

The food could have been warmer and there could have been a bit more of it. It's also a shame that you can't take all the beers home with you. Normally it would be 3.5 stars.

Traditional German food, top-quality and varied craft beer brewed right there in the restaurant—an authentic experience I highly recommend to everyone. We love going every time we travel to Germany (Göppingen). The interior design is spectacular, and you can see the stills where the different beers are brewed. I also recommend the beer tastings...they're fantastic!

Die Qualität lässt kontinuierlich nach. Diesmal war das Essen obendrein zur Qualität nur noch lauwarm. War wohl der letzte Besuch.

Nun ja, ich hoffe das der Koch nur einen schlechten Tag hatte, denn wenn das der Standard ist, empfehle ich über einen Berufswechsel nachzudenken. Der Rostbraten ( Medium bestellt ) war, wie wir Schwaben sagen, furztrocken und lauwarm. Und zu seiner Rechtfertigung, so voll war das Etablissement nun auch wieder nicht. Die Dame im Service emotional Lustlos. Für mich/uns ist erstmal Barfüsserpause angesagt.

We spontaneously got a table on Saturday evening. The beer was great as always, unfortunately the roast beef with onions was quite well-done, despite ordering it medium. Otherwise everything was good.

We went there for lunch today. The food was okay, but in some parts, the price wasn't justified. The onion roast beef from the rump weighed an estimated 150g raw. It went straight from the refrigerator into the pan. It was cooked to the correct doneness, but the meat was very rubbery. The Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) were good, but the potato salad unfortunately wasn't. I suspect it sat under the heat bridge for quite a while; at least it had a slight skin on the surface. Taste-wise, it was a mix of poorly seasoned and store-bought. The lentils and schnitzel were good, but if the menu lists Spätzle (egg noodles) and they serve Knöpfle (small dumplings), then that's simply not acceptable for a Swabian! The burger with a store-bought bun and cheap fries is, unfortunately, a complete no-go for 20 euros! Conclusion: Average, and it doesn't make me want to go back.

Das Angebot ist absolut ausreichend und von den Preisen her als moderat zu bezeichnen. Die Reservierung hat bestens funktioniert, das Personal ist freundlich und die Wartezeit bis das Essen kommt ist ok. Immer wieder würde ich wieder Barfüßer wählen

Wir haben eine halbe Stunde warten müssen bevor wir bedient wurden . Und dann auch erst nachdem jemand an die Theke ist. Man hat sich entschuldigt und das Essen war dann aber sehr gut.

I was there today with my siblings. The food looked good at first glance, but unfortunately it was only lukewarm and didn't taste as good as expected… The salad and chestnut soup were, for once, okay! After half an hour, we started experiencing stomach problems, so we'll have to cross this restaurant off our list. The staff was friendly but not very attentive, as we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken! There are significantly better Swabian restaurants in the Göppingen area (in the same price range). What a shame…

We went to the Barfüsser restaurant in Göppingen today for dinner – we ordered, among other things, pork tenderloin with Spätzle (€18.50). What arrived was a joke – one whole and one HALF piece of tenderloin, about 1 cm thick. The Spätzle were sufficient, but seriously, what was the point of that meat? Absolutely unacceptable! The server was incredibly friendly and apologized profusely, but she really can't be held responsible for what's ordered from higher up. It's a shame, we've always enjoyed the food, but this was definitely the last time. 😢

After several disappointing visits with our group of six, I have to vent. The service and processes here simply don't work. The restaurant is at most a quarter full, and you wait forever for service. The food arrives before the drinks, ordering more requires a lot of waving, and parts of the order are forgotten. When you ask, you get poorly made-up excuses, very politely explained, and when it comes time to pay, the expected reminder about the possibility of leaving a tip is never omitted. And then they never forget it. For the next two years, we'll definitely be eating elsewhere. It's a shame. The food was always delicious, but when the staff is very polite but does a poor job, it's just not worth it.

The ambiance here is more modern than at the "Andechser." But by no means better, just different. Overall, it's like this: "Andechser" is traditionally Bavarian, while Barfüßer is more for a younger crowd who might want a specialty hamburger. The food only gets 4 stars here because there are always a few mistakes. One roast beef was medium, the other well-done (also ordered medium). Was the schnitzel even homemade? The breading wasn't crisp at all. I've also had hard, dry bread dumplings there (thawed?). My "Winter Duck" was excellent! The service hardly ever asks if you'd like anything else to drink! There's definitely room for improvement!

I've been coming here regularly with a colleague for quite some time now and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is always friendly and prompt, and the prices are reasonable. I can't understand some of the reviews about rude service or even worse. Perhaps a little self-reflection would be appropriate for some of the guests…

Review of Barfüßer Göppingen Unfortunately, my visit to Barfüßer in Göppingen was a huge disappointment. The roast beef I ordered (medium) was tough as leather, the gravy tasted worse than any store-bought sauce, and the spaetzle had absolutely no flavor other than butter. It was as if the spaetzle had been kept warm on a hot plate and were only ever stirred with butter. The salad was also served on a warm plate – completely inappropriate. Furthermore, the menu listed potato dumplings as available, but they couldn't be ordered with the roast beef. Overall, a very disappointing meal that in no way justifies the price.

It definitely offers plenty of space to eat in peace and quiet, without being crowded at the next table. The cuisine is typical of the area, and we were very satisfied. There's a bit of that chain vibe, but otherwise, we had a good time.

I have rarely experienced such disgusting and shameful behavior towards paying customers as in this establishment. We were friendly, quiet, drank normally, and even left a generous tip. Instead of receiving respect in return, we were yelled at, insulted, and threatened with a ban for absolutely no reason, just before we were about to leave anyway. We only had one more sip left in our glasses. The staff wasn't stressed; they were power-hungry, loud, and disrespectful. Their tone demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Treating guests like troublemakers while losing control of themselves? That's not service; that's a lack of character in uniform. Anyone who respects themselves and values ​​decent behavior should avoid this place. There are plenty of establishments that still understand hospitality; this one clearly isn't one of them. After this experience, I can only say: Disgusting behavior from the staff, absolutely off-putting.

OLD fat on the brewery schnitzel 😢😢😢

It was delicious, and the portions were generous. The children even got crayons and a coloring sheet. Excellent service, excellent value for money. We'll be back. Positive changes were observed, especially the great new staff and the menu adjustments, such as wider fries.

A truly lovely atmosphere in Göppingen. The service is also very good; for example, you're politely greeted right at the entrance and escorted to your table. The food was also delicious, and the house beer is the highlight.
