Bardolino in Berlin

Unfortunately, the owner and the entire staff have changed. This has changed everything for the worse. The portions are smaller, the prices have increased, the staff have become rude, and the service has deteriorated dramatically! We've tried it three times and will avoid this place in the future!

No, that was the last time today. We were very disappointed by the unfriendly service.

We really enjoy going to Badolino again and often. The food is always great, all the waiters and the boss are super friendly and we always feel super comfortable.

The restaurant is newly managed and people are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very pleasantly Italian, you can feel comfortable. They gave you time to order, which I personally appreciate. After we ordered the drinks and a soup and minestrone we went on to have a pizza tonno and a saltimbocca romana. The minestrone was definitely made with fresh vegetables and was very tasty. The pizza has a crisp edge, not too hard and the remaining dough is nice and thin and juicy. The meat was tender and the sauce was also very tasty. The way the food was served was also nice to look at. For dessert we had tiramisu ordered. We were asked if we wanted two spoons, which I thought was very nice. The tiramisu was great. The service was friendly and at the end there was also a schnapps on the house. Everything was very well rounded and good, but there was a small mishap at the end: there were two drinks on the bill that we hadn't ordered. Therefore a star deduction for service. I still recommend the store and have already booked an appointment for a larger group myself.

The Bardolino has been a fixture in Steglitz/Lankwitz for decades and, in my opinion, is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city at a relatively affordable price. I always enjoy being here.

February 5th, 2025 We were there again, although we were disappointed several times. It wasn't great this time either, there was a long wait for the food. There were 7 of us and the majority were dissatisfied. After several years, we say - no thanks, it doesn't have to be that way.

We have been regular guests at this restaurant for many years. When we went there again, it was a shock to us that the management had apparently changed. Despite our somewhat heavy hearts, we stayed and overall we weren't disappointed. Our young waiter was really very friendly and helpful. Regarding the food, my son thought the carpaccio was better than before, and I liked mine too. Contrary to other reviews, our pizzas were huge and tasted good, my husband liked the scampi pizza better than before, and the steak we ordered was also tasty and filling. What was new was that you can now get garlic oil with your pizza if you wish, so that's a big deal for me :)! The fresh tiramisu for dessert was great! Therefore: Even if we really liked the previous staff, you can still go there with a clear conscience or at least try it out, it's a matter of taste. Maybe the start was a bit bumpy, I can't say.

Brazen! Had a pizza and a large ginger ale each. Without asking, 4 small ginger ales arrived for 3.50€ each (14€ for 2 large ginger ales!). There was tons of salt scattered under the pizzas on the plates (on both plates)!! What's that supposed to mean?! It's clear, 2 more "big" ginger ales and we would have paid 28 € for 2 drinks...so spoiling the guest's meal is a tough call. The receipt also says €2 for “kitchen miscellaneous”... never again!

First we sat for about half an hour before someone took care of us. We weren't told when we made the reservation that there was only a very limited menu for Christmas. Unfortunately, the duck breast was very tough and the food was only lukewarm. We used to love going here, but I think we'll look for a new Italian restaurant in the future. What a shame!!!!

For us, you will always be the best, most loyal and friendliest service we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We are so sorry that you are no longer working at Bardolino because the entire “team” has changed and you have probably had your day. We think it's a shame that the "old" boss took such good care of his top-selling and best employee and treated his long-standing guests in the same way, to whom he didn't even say goodbye (a notice would be friendly and more appreciative than to leave without saying a word). Since we weren't even given the opportunity to say goodbye to you, Valentina, this has permanently changed our mood at Bardolino, so that we are no longer regular guests there. Dear Valentina, we hope you are well and reading this review from us. The couple with their mother in a wheelchair and their little dog send you their warmest regards. Regarding the food - about 2.5 months ago it was said that the Pollo Con Mango no longer deserved this name. My mother was bitterly disappointed (the sauce, whatever it was, didn't look appealing at all and lacked the usual curry taste), the vegetables were then rationalized away and at a hefty price of €18.50.

The ambience and the food are really good. However, there is a 1* deduction because my food was already waiting to be served (so it was no longer served hot) and the service employee who brought it unfortunately smelled very strongly of a cigarette (he had probably just taken a smoke break), which wasn't very appetizing for me to serve. However, I'll be back because all the employees are very friendly, the atmosphere is good and the food is tasty (and next time it will definitely be hot 😉)

An Italian restaurant in 70s - 80s design, with good classic Italian cuisine.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. That was once... New operator, food is bad. Too bad.

The restaurant itself is obviously still the same, but unfortunately with the change of ownership, all of the permanent staff has said goodbye. Very, very unfortunate!!! We've eaten here a total of three times for girls' night out, but it's never been as bad as yesterday. The portions have become so small that at one point we actually asked ourselves whether we should order something else to eat because none of us were full. On the other hand, given the current prices, that would have been unreasonable. Just as an example: The Pollo con Mangom, which costs an incredible €18.50, is now served WITHOUT any other accompanying vegetables. You can now also look for the curry mango sauce, which has always been very tasty, for free. We only served a spoonful of frying oil over the very dry chicken breast fillet. Furthermore, the menu is significantly smaller than before. Because, among other things, there are no longer any children's and/or senior courts. Conclusion for us: at the next meeting we will simply try another restaurant and thus end our tradition after almost 25 years at Bardolino. Note from my side: What I wrote here is completely true! Nothing has been made more negative than it is...

Always enjoyed eating here. Now there seems to be a new management. The food was ok - but nothing more and the service unfortunately wasn't nearly as charming, quick and warm as before.

I've always been happy for years, but today something went wrong. One dish was forgotten, all the dishes with truffles that no one had ordered and the quality of the food was significantly weaker than in the last 18 years. Very unfortunate.

Has been a regular guest at Bardolino for 15 years. We've been there three times since the new management and each time it wasn't as good. I'll probably look for a new local bar.

Spaghetti Pesto Rosso with prawns from the cheese body is highly recommended! The crowning glory is the delicious sangria with fresh fruits served by friendly staff. :-)

Great Italian... Food delicious... Great service

Good little Italian that sticks very much to the original Italian cuisine. Service was very friendly. Beforehand we had bruschetta on the house and after the meal, as we used to know, a schnapps on the house. The food was super tasty and we would definitely come back again.

A manageable menu with unusual dishes, many labeled as spicy. But no problem, the very friendly staff will help you get these dishes in a milder version. The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic and comfortable. The restaurant is certainly busy, as there are few alternatives to choose from in the area. We can highly recommend the Bardolino; in summer, when the terrace is open, it is certainly even more comfortable. We'd love to come back.

Wird unser Stamm-Italiener. Pizza Scampi, Pizza Frutti di Mare, Pizza Mista: gut belegt bei Teller-überdeckender Größe. Scharfes Chili-Öl gabs auf Wunsch dazu. Lasagne okay, Tortelloni in Kürbissauce lecker, aber kleine Portion. Edit: beim näxten Besuch Fettucine al pollo; auch lecker ordentliche Portion. Flotter, freundlicher, unaufdringlicher Service. Zur Begrüßung gabs aufs Haus für jeden ein Bruschetta, als 'Rausschmeisser' einen (wahlweise) Grappa.

Eigentlich sollte ich den nicht bewerten, nicht, dass ich dann einen Tisch reservieren muss . 😀 2x unterschiedliche Pasta bestellt, Tiramisu und Tartufo, alles hat 5 Sterne verdient, halt ein echter Italiener mit Seele in der Küche.

Das ist seit Jahren unser Stamm Restaurant. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und sehr höflich. Jeder Wunsch wird stets erfüllt. Zu Stoßzeiten kann es sein das man etwas Geduld mitbringen muss, aber das Essen wird halt immer frisch zubereitet. Der Chef achtet immer auf einen hohen Qualitätsstandard. Wir gehen immer gerne dort hin. Es ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub in Italien. Ihr seid super. Macht weiter so. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Oft vorbeigefahren, heute mit großem Appetit besucht. Ab 16:00 geöffnet und um 16:40 ist die Terrasse sehr gut besucht. Sehr nette Bedienung, vielseitige Speisekarte mit erschwinglichen Preisen. Es war ein Genuss!!!

Schade, war lange nicht mehr hier und musste feststellen, hat sich einiges geändert.. . War mit meiner Frau dort und waren beide enttäuscht. Ihre Pizza war lauwarm und hatte eher die Qualität einer guten Tiefkühlpizza. Ich bestellte Leber mit Ofenkartoffel und Tagesgemüse. Da dürfte man erwarten das eine Ofenkartoffel wie der Name sagt, heiss ist und aus dem Ofen kommt. Die kartoffel mit dem Tagesgemuse, Bohnen und Brokkoli, waren lauwarm und die Leber war eindeutig zu roh. 2 Punkte gibt's auch nur weil es früher hier immer gut geschmeckt hat. Aber so schnell komme ich nicht wieder

Hier kann man in gemütlichen Ambiente sehr gut essen. Man wird immer freundlich bedient. Auch die schöne Terasse lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier, Service Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen kam zügig. Ich hatte ne Pizza mit Lachs, die ich ziemlich trocken fand und der Teig schmeckte eher 08/15. Mein Mann hatte einen Grillteller, Fleisch war gut, die Beilagen lauwarm bis kalt, die Portion übersichtlich. Ja, man kann hier gemütlich essen aber wir würden hier nicht extra zum Essen her fahren

Gehen schon lange ins Bardelino. I.mer sehr freundlich. Essen gut. Der letzte Besuch war leider nicht lecker Schnitzel mit Spargel und Holondaise Sosse Schnitzel ohne Geschmack, Spargel war zu knackig, Kartoffeln schwammen in Öl Alles Geschmacklos, SCHADE LACHS mit Kartoffeln und Dip. Auch da zuviel Öl auf den Kartoffeln .

Netter Service, top essen, wirklich hammer! Die Brushetta am Anfang ist echt lecker. Ich finde das lohnt sich hier her zu kommen. Wenn man gut essen will und dann noch bei so eine netten Atmosphäre, sollte man sofort hier her kommen. Kurz geschlossen: Hammer Restaurant und super leckeres Essen.

Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und schnell. Alle Kundenwünsche werden berücksichtigt. Klasse! Habe etwas Nicht aus der Karte bestellt, trotzdem kein Problem. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Seit Jahrzehnten der Italiener im Kiez, zum essen, trinken und Feste feiern. Das reichhaltige Angebot wird monatlich durch Saisonales ergänzt und die Qualität der Speisen bewegt sich zwischen gut bis sehr gut. z.B. sind Braten und Pastagerichte aus dem Parmesanlaib, Großgarnelen vom Grill 👌 und Antipasti sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und kompetent. Preislich alles sehr moderat. 👍👍👍👍

Die Pizzeria ist eigentlich ganz OK. Kleine Patzer passieren schon 'mal. Bruschetta ist manchmal nicht so toll (Zu wenig Olivenöl und die Drapierung ist eisekalt) Es wurden auch mal Teile der Bestellung vergessen. Das Essen jedoch ist gut! **************************** Lange Wartezeit!

Etwas dunkel Abends. Essen ist prima und das Personal nett. Gerne wieder.

Nach Jahren in der Fremde kehren wir einmal in der Woche hier ein. Ich liebe die Spaghetti Pesto rosso mit Großgarnelen oder die gegrillten Großgarnelen mit 3 verschiedenen Saucen. Der Geschmack macht süchtig und immer wieder freue ich mich darauf. Auch die Pizza ist hier ausgesprochen lecker mit einem dünnen, knusprigen Boden und gut belegt. Getränke zu moderaten Preisen, über die Weine kann ich leider nichts sagen. Besonders lecker ist die Bruschetta als Gruß aus der Cucina und auch der Likör nach dem Essen geht auf´s Haus. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. wir kommen sehr gern hierher, die Qualität ist gleichbleibend gut und das seit nunmehr 25 Jahren.
