One of the best restaurants in Thuringia...it doesn't get any better

We took advantage of the gastronomic offerings at the Lummerschen Backhaus in the Spiegelzelt and were very disappointed. The beer was priced as 0.5 liters on the menu. We received 0.4 l for the same price. The sandwiches on offer were nothing like what was pictured on the menu. These were significantly smaller and of inferior quality. Two sandwich slices instead of 4...for the price of €16.00. I also mentioned this when operating it because I assumed there would be 4 slices as in the picture. I was informed that this is the only way they exist. Even as a snack, this price is completely excessive considering the quality delivered. The offering in the 2023 Spiegeltent season was significantly better in quality. It's a shame, you can't keep guests and win them like that.

The hardest experience I've ever had in a business. As soon as we entered the dining room with a 6-month-old baby, the waitress (owner?) fell asleep and she was very snotty. During the course of the evening she looked at the child very closely every time she passed by and after she was a little restless due to the heat and the previous journey of 400km, the lady said absolutely angrily as she passed by: "That's really tiring for me" (none of them guests present felt this way). During the course of the evening I politely asked the waitress (owner?) if she had mayonnaise or ketchup, then I was asked if I could decide what I wanted. I can't understand how you can work in the catering industry if you hate dealing with people so much. Once and never again!

You can also eat small portions and prefer a great game soup beforehand. Always good...
