5 stars – A true taste experience at Bambusgarten! We visited the Chinese restaurant Bambusgarten in Hanover this evening and were completely thrilled. From the moment we entered, we immediately felt at home in the stylishly decorated ambiance – cozy, inviting, and designed with great attention to detail. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The entire team took care of us warmly without being intrusive. We were more than spoiled with culinary delights: The dishes were freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and authentic in flavor. The menu is diverse – there's something for every taste. Our absolute highlight, however, were the potato-coated shrimp – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and with a sophisticated seasoning that left a lasting impression, and the vegetarian spring rolls. You won't find something like this everywhere! The value for money was also spot on – we're happy to pay for this quality and the all-round successful experience. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bambusgarten and are already looking forward to our next visit! The Bippes couple from Karlsruhe

The food was very good and without any reservations. One of the two waiters was friendly, the other seemed rather joyless and grumpy. He didn't make us feel welcome. I found that noticeable from the start and didn't like it at all. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, but there were two black hairs stuck to the white tablecloth. Furthermore, we weren't asked if we liked the food or if we wanted anything else. And it wasn't so busy that there wasn't enough time to ask. Only when we had finished our food were we asked if we wanted an espresso or cappuccino. When we paid, we weren't asked if everything was OK. Meanwhile, the cold waiter was already sitting at the table, eating unsightly. We were there to eat well. And we did, but it wasn't an entirely pleasant visit. It would have taken more.

The vegetarian duck was great, as was the service :) We'll be happy to come back!

We had dinner as a family at Bambus Garden. The service was outstanding and friendly. My son received some coloring materials to keep him occupied while he waited. The food was delicious, and I would go back anytime.

Beautiful restaurant. The food was good. It's nice that there's a vegetarian section on the menu, which even offers a vegetarian duck. The service was excellent, very attentive, and friendly. We enjoyed the food, and we also thought the prices were reasonable. We were impressed with the meat dishes' value for money; the portion sizes were generous, and while other restaurants only serve individual pieces of meat, this one really offered plenty. Be sure to make a reservation; it's always very busy!

It's always a little sensation to eat here :) from the fire show with the sizzling plates to the excellent service and the smoked duck - everything is just right here.

A truly fantastic duck. Flambéed at the table. The sauce is also very tasty. Because the food is very good, the restaurant is quite busy, which brings with it a certain amount of noise.

I drove an extra 2 hours and it was worth every cent of gas. The Smoked Duck is particularly recommended; the service was courteous and personal. I really appreciate such a fine shop and definitely recommend a visit. The store is also reasonably priced

We were still able to make a reservation from one day to the next, even on a Saturday, with a full reservation. Thank you. The ambience is great, the service is excellent, the food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is right. First-class service with first-class food at a reasonable price-performance ratio. The service is very professional and above average. The only thing we noticed was that it was very, very loud due to the lack of shielding. It was our first time there but definitely not the last time. Very child-friendly staff

The service is very attentive and friendly, the food is great. All highly recommended, a table reservation on the weekend is advisable. We come from further away, drive a good 45 to an hour, it's always worth it.

It was packed. Of course, this makes it relatively loud, but that's to be expected on a Saturday evening.

Spontaneous visit, nice welcome, relatively small dining room. All tables were occupied after about 30 minutes, which unfortunately meant the noise level was quite loud. Otherwise the food and service was great.

The food tastes excellent, the quality is very good, the price/performance ratio is right! The service is also quick, friendly and attentive. The only drawback: the noise level is very high, conversations at the table for four are difficult. But we would still like to come back!

I can fully recommend this restaurant. The food was very tasty 😋 and also beautifully prepared. Both vegetarians and meat eaters will find dishes here. If I remember correctly, there are also vegan dishes (sorry, I didn't pay much attention to that). There were also dishes that were hot 🔥 (see photos or videos that others posted). That was fascinating for me and a real highlight. The waiter who served us was super nice and, above all, helpful and always took the time and had patience to explain or answer things. He was also polite and in a good mood. What I really miss in service sometimes. The rooms are cozy, clean and well-kept. It could be difficult for people with walking difficulties because the toilets are in the basement and, from my unprofessional point of view, I didn't see a way for these people. But that doesn't mean this path doesn't exist. The prices are a little more expensive, but you also get very tasty food and great service. My colleagues and I were thrilled and would go there again at any time.

We came from Minden because we didn't feel like eating a buffet. We wanted authentic and good cuisine and we got that 100% in the Bamboo Garden. The bamboo menu for €45 per person is more than fair and I also have to say that the service was and is extremely good and you were very welcome. 2 hours full of enjoyment and appreciation!! Thanks

Very tasty food. I had the king prawns, which are flambéed at the table. Real experience :) Portions are big enough to fill you up ;) nice and friendly waiters in smart vests. Toilets very clean. Overall, highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent dishes. The staff was very accommodating. Although the restaurant was full, we had a short wait until the food was on the table. If you want to enjoy high-quality food of a very special quality, you should come here. However: be sure to reserve! It gets busy, especially in the evenings, and reservations are easy online.

I don't even know where to start. The “home-grilled” duck was a sensation! Totally different from usual Asian restaurants, where the duck meat is fried in oily fat. The fillet with the delicate skin and the light layer of fat is totally tender. The sauce (Szechuan) was a flavor explosion! We are thrilled and will definitely come back. Yes, quality has its price. Yes, if you look closely you will see that the sauces with the vegetables are calculated separately. So you shouldn't be surprised by the calculation ;-) Our simple vegetable soup still had room for improvement. Next time we will choose another one. The service is perfect. Even if the dining room is full, everything comes to the table super quickly. You should definitely make a reservation, otherwise the service will clearly inform you of this. Of course, when the dining room is full, the background noise is appropriate. Definitely... Highly recommended. It's fun and will be fun to explore the food menu further! THANKS!

For me, the Bamboo Garden is a culinary delight in summer and winter. Both the garden and the restaurant are well styled. The head chef in charge succeeds in satisfying his guests every day. We can look forward to the newly opened section of the Bamboo Garden!

The sizzling platters are recommended with both meat and vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly and fulfills special requests. The coconut panna cotta and baked bananas taste very good. I like the wine list and there is a good selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I really liked the plum wine and homemade lemonade

We ate the duck on a Saturday evening and loved it. Tender meat, little fat and very tasty sauces. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was very quick and above average. Preheated plates, comfortable chairs and everything was very clean. In addition, beautifully set tables and always fresh tablecloths. You rarely find something like this. Definitely again!

We went to Bamboo Garden for the first time yesterday. The staff was very friendly and attentive, great importance is attached to cleanliness - tablecloths are changed almost after every guest. The food was very tasty, the prices may be 1 or 2 euros higher, but in my opinion that is justified - by the service, etc. We can recommend this restaurant and would love to come back.

In short: the few times we've eaten there, we can only say that the food is very good. Unfortunately, we had such a negative experience a few weeks ago that we now prefer to spend our money elsewhere. Despite a reservation, our table wasn't ready after 20 minutes of waiting. We were informed by a very arrogant waiter that the order was still there and we got the next free table. Funny, the place was full and everyone was eating. When we asked where we could wait, we were told “at least not here”, so we continued to stand in the aisle because it was too cold for us outside. When we asked how long it would take, we were told: 'You'll be lucky if you get a table with us.' Very funny, we didn't have one. I've laughed more. Really, friendliness and hospitality can be different! So we discovered a great Greek guy nearby who knows how to do it. Recommendation to the owners, just keep it up, then it won't be humming anymore, something like that won't work for the guests. Yes, I'm still angry after weeks 😡

It's shocking, the first order was great, the second order was delivered with the wrong sauce and half of it was forgotten, today with the third and probably last order the food was delivered cold. 🤬🤬
