Great Vietnamese restaurant. Not too big, just about 12 tables, nice, pleasant atmosphere thanks to the dark lighting concept and natural wood and bamboo. Food tastes great, lovingly prepared. Service also very attentive. We'd love to come back...😋

We ended up at the Bamboo Leaf today by chance. The atmosphere is very inviting. The food tastes wonderful if your taste buds aren't completely destroyed by fast food. The staff were very friendly and we were served by Mr. Duy, a nice young man with a nice smile. You can rely on his recommendations, keep it up! Good Vietnamese food and great service. A hidden gem in Berlin.

This is the good ones Asian restaurants I have visited in Berlin. (KADEWE area) It serves from Vietnam, in the cocy, warm style, prefect for date, something romantic, celebration with friends, or just want to treat yourself better. The food tastes fantastic. The service is great, our waiter was really kind and helpful. The price is affordable. I recommend it.

The Salvo truffle bowl was delicious! You don’t really feel the travel of labor much but everything is presented very well. One of our family members had Pho for the first time and really liked it

We had not made a reservation, but were still able to take a seat. The food came so quickly that we didn't have to wait long. Red chicken curry was delicious. Super friendly guys at the counter. Negative view of the street/buildings. Very dark from outside, we thought they were closed at first.

There is fish sauce in every dish, even the supposedly vegetarian ones. This is not on the menu and I was only told when I asked after I had already eaten the dish. This is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and, if I'm honest, a bit disgusting. If you eat a vegetarian or vegan diet, you should be able to trust a restaurant's menu and not only find out about it after asking.

The grilled pork belly was tough and mushy, because it was also lukewarm, the waitress took it away again and brought it back lukewarm and mushy. That's how it should be. If you want to become a vegetarian but always crave meat, you should definitely come here. Or if you like pork belly from the microwave, that too. Not me.

Great restaurant. We were 6. All the food we ordered for the starters, the sushi and the main distes were Great. Very good valle for money. Will visit again for sure next time.

Tables are way too close together. You can hardly get to your seat. A very, very small restaurant. Unfortunately, sushi was very hard on the outside and not really tasty. The curry was excellent though. The bowl with rice noodles was also very tasty. The spring rolls as a starter are also highly recommended. Service top and very friendly. Luckily we bought the sushi just to try and share it. The quality was really not good.

This is my first experience writing a negative review - luckily I've never had to do that before. The chicken was more like a slippery mass. When I asked the waiter to change the dish or call the chef to explain what it was, he replied, "The chef doesn't want to come out." – You probably hide in the kitchen if you are unsure of your work. The waiter awkwardly couldn't answer the questions. And the veal pho - a dish I've never had served badly - smelled so unpleasantly of stale meat that I couldn't even touch it. Neither I nor my companion touched the food. I asked for the food to be cleared away immediately. The kitchen's fault was obvious - yet there was neither an apology nor a discount. I paid the bill in full. Don't repeat my mistake. Never again.

I have an extremely picky daughter .. and she loves the food here. Well presented dishes and taste great!

Today we went to lunch around 2 pm, ordered springrolls and two drinks...until then the experience seemed very good. My main dish arrives and we were waiting for my partner's. After waiting almost half an hour and complaining on several occasions with two different waitresses (who, by the way, did not make the complaint in the kitchen because I saw it firsthand), they told us that there was a problem in the kitchen and that the order was not prepared. Almost finishing the drinks and my plate we decided to cancel my girlfriend's meal. We asked for the bill and did not receive any apology...by the way the kitchen staff was having lunch at the table next to us and they behaved like schoolchildren making noise and having loud conversations, which by the way they did have their food on time. I would not return to the Restaurant... a shame, because the experience started very well and ended very badly

Perhaps the friendliest and good looking staff also best sushi of all times.

Decent food with good atmosphere. The only downside is that the prices of beverages is on the higher side and we felt the place to be quite dark on the inside. Little more light would be nice Overall a nice place with decent food.

Lousy service and attention, after 40 minutes the food came cold. It's a shame that this restaurant is damaged. The waiters avoid the customers because they know they will receive complaints.

My wife and I always try and eat at a pho spot in every city we visit. We were skeptical at first because it also served sushi, so maybe it was just one of those spots that served many mediocre dishes. It’s also in a relatively touristy part of Berlin. But this was hands down the best pho we’ve had in Europe! The broth tasted clean and authentic. Staff were also friendly and attentive. Given how good their pho was, I’d even give their sushi a chance next time

If you feel cheated and want to go home hungry - then you've come to the right place! With so many delicious Asian restaurants to choose from in Berlin, we were unlucky enough to come here. 45 euros for a lunch for two after which we left angry and hungry. A dish called “curry chicken” where instead of chicken we are served tasteless, rubbery jelly - and then they try to convince us that it is real meat! As if we don't know what chicken tastes like! Either it was 10 times thawed and poor quality chicken breast that turned into jelly, or we got some poor quality by-products that have nothing to do with chicken. There was also a Pho Bo, which was inedible because of the many tendons in the meat and its bland taste. The waiter refused to replace the dish or take it off the bill, even though we sent it back to the kitchen immediately after the first bite. The cook didn't come out - even though we didn't want to call him. The waiter offered it himself, disappeared briefly and then came back alone to further explain to us that everything was fine with the food. If it’s “okay” for you – it’s not for your guests! Simply offer an alternative or at least show a little compassion that your guest stays hungry. We returned the food and left very disappointed. Even a simple chicken curry can apparently be ruined. Just ask Bamboo Leaf how it works. If you want to feel cheated and leave hungry – this is the place for you! The service on March 20th was very friendly, very attentive. That's what the stars are for. I found the food very disappointing, the rice in the sushi tasted very dry, hard and old. Butterfish didn't taste fresh at all. Avocado Dream didn't taste like avocado, more like yogurt. There was little fish in the sushi, and double the rice in a maki. Very disappointing, I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe the non-sushi dishes are better. But unfortunately we wouldn't come back for that. Too bad.

Super delicious Pho soup! The mango salad with crispy duck is also highly recommended.

The food is delicious!! I definitely recommend the salmon bowl (the one with salad, truffle dressing, and more). the service is also really good. The server with glasses wearing a black hoodie was incredibly polite and friendly!! He left a really good impression :)

I've never had such a good ribbon noodle soup with tofu!! The soup is very flavorful and the tofu is particularly airy. That's why I recommend number 20😌

Brilliant sushi, delicious grilled salmon and a wonderful bowl with 🍤🍤🍤 shrimps at temperature. Delicious drinks. If I could give 6 stars, I would rate it 7. #yummy #delicous

It was great, I was looking for good food in Berlin and Google maps didn’t let me down, in general the restaurant is very atmospheric and well furnished despite its small size, the nice girl waiter helped with the choice of dish, which included soup and the main course. The Miso Soup was excellent, well seasoned and filling, the second course of Pho Bo was also very tasty, green and fresh. I was very pleased. If you are in the area of ​​the Dewe shopping center, be sure to stop by, you won’t regret it.

First time I actually ate Vietnamese cuisine, the dish I got was exceptional and was full of flavours. I found the Saigon beer suitable for the chosen course. Very nice restaurant located near the Berlin Zoological Park and very helpful staff. Highly recommended

We were there for dinner today with 10 people. Reserved 2 hours in advance and the service was great despite a short-term reservation! The food was also super tasty and fresh 🫶🏼

The sushi was just ok because the rice wasn't so great which was a bit disappointing because the fish was fresh and tasty.

I had dinner in the restaurant with a friend and then picked up a meal to go for my boyfriend. The waitress didn't close the plastic box properly, so that - despite it being transported upright - the entire liquid contents spilled over my clothes, the soaked paper bag tore and the food contents ended up on the floor. Despite calling the restaurant immediately, they said there was “nothing they could do” and didn’t even want to replace me with a new meal. I'm shocked at how they treat customers there!!

Friendly staff, but sometimes a bit slow. We were alone in the restaurant and had to wait a long time until someone came to the table. Then we had to move around because a lamp was broken and they wanted to repair it. Agreed, they had placed us there. 10 minutes later they gave the table to others again and they had to change places again. Something incomprehensible. Unfortunately there is a lot of draft in the front area when the door keeps opening and it felt like they didn't want to let us sit at the back. Food is very tasty. Portions were OK.

This restaurant offers Japanese sushi and Vietnamese dishes for little money. I personally find the Vietnamese dishes tastier, but the sushi is also very tasty. The restaurant itself has a sober decoration and is frequented by young trendy people.

Very tasty, attractively decorated restaurant. The two of us ate sushi (menu 4, black rolls and rainbow rolls). The decision was really difficult for us given the delicious selection ;) The service was really nice and quick. A small mix-up in the kitchen was handled very accommodatingly. I like to come here again after shopping.

I would particularly like to highlight the staff: everyone was very friendly, courteous and attentive. And best of all – the food was served super quickly! The restaurant is small but nice. The oriental decoration with bamboo gives it a particularly cozy atmosphere. The central location near the Memorial Church is ideal. The food was served in reasonable portions, tasted good, and the service was friendly. The price-performance ratio is also good. Recommended!

The experience at the restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! The atmosphere was cozy and vibrant. The food was spot on in both taste and presentation. We tried a variety of dishes: the Sushi was fresh and flavorful, the Glass Noodles were perfectly cooked with a delightful texture, and the Chicken Rice was comforting and well-seasoned. The highlight for us was the Prawn Rice in Mango Curry, which had an exquisite balance of sweetness and spice. The service by Wuang (if I recall the name correctly) was impeccable. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was just right for us. It was a flawless dining experience, and we can’t wait to return!

After expressly requesting a vegan order, it didn't come vegan. The service seemed visibly overwhelmed. In terms of taste, it wasn't worth the, in my opinion, overpriced price. Definitely not recommended for vegans/vegetarians.

Best meal we’ve had in Berlin. Highly recommend the Seafood Donburi and the Pho Bo. Pho was missing some of the traditional garnishes such as lime and bean sprouts but was still delicious. The drinks were also delicious, we had the home cocktail and the swimming pool, both very good. Fast service and they got us in Saturday night without a reservation.

Terrible service. Been sitting for almost 10min without any attendance or menu. After telling it to the waitress, she got annoyed at us and threw menus on the table. If you are planning to come with your significant other, do yourself a favor and find another place.

It said sushi lunch, so I ordered it, but I only got maki... Maybe it was because it was lunch, but the price was cheap. The rice noodles were delicious, but the fried spring rolls that came on the side were really delicious. The restaurant was so dark that I almost fell asleep while eating.

Unbelievable place! A great little gem just off the bustle of the main Kaiser Wilhelm and Zoo District. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had the "business lunch" for 12,90€ each for a large bowl of salmon and rice with a crispy spring roll each. The crunchy sushi was incredible as well. The food was incredible at such a good price and the portions were very generous! If you are ever in Berlin, this place is worth a visit!

Inconspicuous from the outside, there is very tasty Asian-Vietnamese food here. The restaurant is rather small, so I recommend making a reservation. Even though it was full, the atmosphere was pleasant and you could still have a good chat. Price/performance ratio is good to very good.

We went to Bamboo Leaf in Berlin through a friend's recommendation, and he really didn't promise too much - it was the best sushi I've had in Berlin so far. The quality and taste were outstanding. It's definitely in my top 3 overall sushi restaurants at the moment. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for first-class sushi!

Small restaurant with a good menu. Just a few meters from the Memorial Church you can get delicious, light Asian cuisine here. The service is fast, attentive and reserved. The food is very well seasoned and simply delicious. The decor is dark and warm with some very nice highlights.

Just a few steps away from the Kudamm is this small restaurant with very tasty food and good prices. The ambience is very nice, but it is very popular and therefore a bit cramped and very crowded. Reservations were a good idea. We'd love to come back. We will try the sushi, which is beautifully presented and has a large selection.

It's a wonderful restaurant with very tasty pho and sushi, but my favorite dishes are the grilled salmon and the miso soup. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is very friendly and the best thing is the origami decoration. I love it! So if you are in Berlin and near Kurfürstendamm then you should visit this restaurant, they also have lunch specials!

We were there for lunch, very nice atmosphere. The sushi menu really appealed to me, so I ordered sushi. The food came within 5 minutes, which surprised me slightly. After the first bite it was clear why it came so quickly. The rolls were not freshly prepared, the rice was dried out and the fish was too warm. I couldn't and didn't want to finish it, and when I paid I wasn't even asked what the food was like. Very unfortunate.

The environment is clean and tidy, the bamboo tube lights are very distinctive and full of atmosphere. I ordered a red curry and an eel sushi. The red curry tasted good and the portion was slightly smaller. The eel sushi was surprisingly delicious. The service attitude was very good. When I went to take the package the next day, the boss was very nice and gave the children desserts to eat~ Highly recommended! The environment is clean and tidy, bamboo lamps are very special. We have ordered a red curry an eel sushi. The red curry is good, but the portion is slightly smaller, and the eel sushi unexpectedly delicious. Service is super good, highly recommended !

The food, service, taste, variety is amazing. Sushis, noodle soups, wontons, rice and curry. Everything was awesome. Highly recommend.

Very good Pho and nice selection of starters

Excellent sushi, we ordered 4 different types and were very full. Very tasty sushi, a small amount of rice and most of it fills you up. We also really liked the presentation. Everything was very tasty and I can definitely recommend this place.
