We're staying here for one night from Duisburg, and Bam Bam is right next to the hotel. It was already late, almost 10 pm. We thought we'd quickly grab something to take back to our room. The bread was absolutely delicious, divine! The sauces were fantastic, and there was a great selection. It's definitely worth a visit. The service and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

More than two stars isn't possible. I once ordered a doner plate and it was very tasty. That's why I thought I'd order from you again. And this time I ordered a doner kebab. Sorry, but it was absolutely terrible, and I know why. It was leftover meat from the spit; you could clearly see and taste it. With the doner plate, you could tell it was fresh meat. But not with the doner kebab. Sorry, but you just don't do that; you never give a customer leftover, tough meat from the spit. If I had been there, I would have noticed, said something, and never wanted that doner kebab. I'm just barely giving it two stars because the doner plate was delicious the first time. But the doner kebab, as I said, is completely unacceptable. That's why it's difficult for me to order from you again in the future. What a shame.

You have to admit that the 820 reviews are right. It's not your average doner kebab; the bread is very good, the meat is good, and there are interesting additions. Cabbage and onions are, of course, included. The sauces are really delicious, and the whole thing is worth the price. I've definitely had worse doner kebabs for more money. Full marks! A classic, typical doner shop with a truly good doner kebab.

Very tasty, but definitely not a doner kebab. This thing has more in common with a Subway sandwich than with a kebab. That's not to say it tastes bad! Quite the opposite, it's quite tasty (lamb)... I just wouldn't call it a doner kebab :D Let's call it a sandwich with doner meat, then that's fine. Unfortunately, I also find the portion much too small, especially for 7.50... kind of cheeky. I don't recommend the chicken, but the lamb is quite tasty. The sauce selection is cool, and the cabbage is something different. The bread isn't my thing at all because it's toasted, industrial-style junk... I'd rather go to a real doner kebab shop that bakes its own fresh bread. If you're not in the mood for a regular doner kebab but want to try something similar, you can go here... but I definitely wouldn't go there regularly due to the price-to-quantity ratio. If you want a delicious kebab, this isn't really recommended. It's just a "worth a try" kind of thing. The people there are nice. :)

BAM BAM keb'Up – Heilbronn – a hype I can't understand I was at the kebab restaurant recently in the evening and ordered a cheesy kebab. You pay a euro extra for the extra portion of cheese. The guys behind the counter were friendly, but didn't seem particularly motivated. I ordered my kebab the classic way, with everything and all three sauces. It was ready after a few minutes, and I took it home. My first impression was actually positive, but that quickly changed when I tried it: There was simply far too much sauce on it – especially a kind of cocktail sauce that dominated the entire flavor. The cheese sauce, which was supposed to be the specialty of the cheesy kebab, was completely absent. The meat didn't seem particularly good in terms of quality and was more reminiscent of a standard kebab from next door. I'd like to highlight the flatbread, which was truly delicious, as well as the fresh salad and vegetables, which tasted good in themselves but were completely overpowered by the flood of sauce. Overall, the kebab isn't exactly bad, but it's unbalanced for my taste, and the meat quality is simply too weak for the price. For the same price—or with a small premium—you can get kebabs in Heilbronn and the surrounding area that are significantly more balanced, higher quality, and more flavorful. Therefore, I unfortunately don't understand the big hype surrounding this chain. The restaurant itself appears clean and well-maintained, but the flavor didn't impress me.

A delicious and modern fast food restaurant in the center of Heilbronn. A very large selection of dishes: from classic kebab and dürüm to fresh bowls and vegetarian options. The portions are generous, the products are fresh, the sauces are aromatic. The atmosphere is pleasant, the interior is stylish and clean, the staff works quickly and friendly. The prices are adequate for this level of quality. The perfect place to grab a snack on the go or take a short break with friends.

I went there because of all the good reviews and bought two kebabs. The guys there are super nice, but unfortunately, the kebab isn't that good. Charging €7.50 for this quality is really outrageous 😅 The meat isn't good quality; everything is drowned in sauce (only the top), so much so that the first half is practically a soup, and the second half is extremely dry. There was practically no salad. That was my first and last time there. There are definitely much better kebabs in Heilbronn.

The doner kebab itself was good. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough sauce in the doner kebab. There was a good amount on top, which is why the first few bites were really good. The combination of meat, salad, and sauce was really good. But the last third was really just bread and meat, no sauce, no salad. It would have been great to improve the layering there. My colleague and I both thought that this would make it difficult to eat the rest, and that it would somehow take away your appetite and desire. That's why I left a small amount of it because I didn't want any more. The bread was very crispy and soft on the inside. So it was really great and one of the best I've ever eaten. Almost as good as my regular doner kebab. But because they smeared the sauce on the bread, it became soft and slightly mushy in places, which didn't really improve the taste. Nevertheless, the bread was very good. The workers, who were quite a lot - at least 4-5 pieces - worked very quickly, so there was no waiting time. However, ordering the kebab was a bit annoying. I was greeted with silly comments about not wanting hot sauce or onions and tomatoes. I was also asked whether I should use the whole kebab. It was a bit annoying for a moment, but I quickly forgot about it. Based on these points, I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars overall, because it still needs a certain amount of fine-tuning. Otherwise, it's good.

I also tried Haus des Döners; it looks exactly the same as BamBam, but the contents are very small at Haus des Döners. BamBam is a lot better... Hopefully it stays that way, and the price is still "alright" at €6.50. Unfortunately, it's gotten expensive everywhere. At Haus des Döners, it's €1 more expensive, at €7.50, despite fewer kebabs. From now on, I'll only go to BAMBAM.

According to Google, the best kebab in HB. This may apply to Swabia, but if you have ever eaten kebab elsewhere in Germany, then unfortunately it was not very impressive. First the positive things: the bread is obviously not the standard kebab bread and tastes good. The selection of sauces is large and the service tries very hard to process everything quickly. Now the negative things: the kebab is only partially filled for €7.50. I have more in my bread at any kebab shop around the corner. The hot sauce is mild, like stale ginger ale. The kebab is also dripping with fat. The temperature in the store itself is like the forecourt of hell. The taste was okay, but far from being particularly tasty. All in all, a maximum of 3 stars - perhaps the hype set expectations a little too high, but you can still expect a lot more for the money.
