Schöne Atmosphäre und guter Service, leckeres Essen, kleine Speisekarte, aber dennoch ausreichend Auswahl.

Besser geht es nicht ! Die Inhaber und die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend und sehr aufmerksam. Die Qualität der Speisen sind als Note 1 einzustufen und die Preise sind wirklich angemessen und sogar günstig. Wir hatten zwei dicke Gerichte und 2 Getränke und sind sehr satt und zufrieden mit 39 € nach Hause gefahren. Einfach Top, geht hin und überzeugt euch selbst davon !!!

Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Überraschungsplatte war eine echte Überraschung.. Kamen aus dem Staunen nicht raus. Wer gerne Fleisch isst, ist damit bestens beraten .. Klare Empfehlung von unsrer Seite. Es war alles vorzüglich und super lecker. Kommen bestimmt wieder. 👍 👍

Wir hatten ein super leckeres Essen, genau die richtige Menge Suppe, der Salat davor war in Ordnung und der Preis absolut angemessen. Es war außerdem sowohl drinnen als auch draußen blitzsauber und die Bedienung sehr freundlich – also alles bestens.

Wir haben hier köstlich gegessen! Wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Mein Partner hatte Cevapcici und ich ein Steak mit Kräuterbutter. Es war hervorragend zubereitet! Ich bestellte dazu Knoblauchsauce, die hausgemacht war und wirklich die beste, die ich je gegessen habe!

Wir waren heute am 15.05 dort. Die zwei Sterne beziehen sich ausschließlich auf die unfreundliche Kellnerin. Wir hatten das Gefühl nicht gewünscht zu sein. Die Bestellung wurde schon lieblos aufgenommen nachdem alle Stammgäste schon mit Getränken versorgt waren, die alle nach uns gekommen sind. Die Speisekarte und die Getränke wurden ohne ein Wort oder Lächeln aufgenommen. Als ich meinen Salat geholt habe kam die Suppe. Ein älterer Kellner sah wie die mir die Suppe hinstellte Löffel falsch herum. Er korrigierte das und hatte auch ein lächeln. Wir wurden während der ganzen Zeit nicht gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Bei den Nebentischen wurde regelmäßig nachgefragt. Für Stammgäste ein nettes Restaurant für uns nie wieder.

Ambiente & Essen waren super. Alle drei Hauptspeisen waren lecker & bekömmlich. Bei den Vorspeisen, waren wir begeistert von den Schnecken, die Soße ein Traum. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und das Lokal ist klein und übersichtlich. Ein Stern Abzug beim Service, anfangs sehr viel am Tisch gewesen bzw. hatte man die Tische mehr im Blick. So ab 19Uhr wurde es weniger & das Team war mehr mit Vor- & Aufräumarbeiten beschäftigt.

Es gibt sie noch, die Restaurants, die richtige Bratkartoffel anbieten und die frische Zwiebeln in der Pfanne anbraten und keine Produkte aus der Tüte verwenden. Es hat meiner Frau und mir super geschmeckt, wir sind beide satt geworden und das alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Außerdem sind wir freundlich aufgenommen und zuvorkommend bedient worden. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Es war sehr lecker, ich würde sagen, hausgemacht. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass wir bar bezahlen mussten, aus irgendeinem Grund funktionierte keine unserer drei Karten.

​Wir waren heute mit unseren zwei Kindern hier essen und sind restlos begeistert. ​Essen: Sehr lecker, wirklich reichliche Portionen und das alles zu einem top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. ​Highlight: Das Salatbuffet! Man kann sich seinen Salat selbst zusammenstellen und die Auswahl an verschiedenen Salaten ist wirklich riesig und frisch. ​Service: Ein großes Lob an den Kellner und die Kellnerin. Beide waren wahnsinnig kinderlieb und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt für uns sehr entspannt gemacht hat. ​Fazit: Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für den schönen Nachmittag.

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Obwohl es sehr voll war wurden wir sehr schnell und freundlich bedient.

Das Essen ist wirklich klasse. Ein typischer "Jugoslawe", wie man es erwartet. Die Mengen sind klasse, man wir super satt. Alles, was hier zum Thema essen geschrieben wurde, stimmt! Der Service wirkte auf mich ein bisschen muffig, lustlos wenn auch aufmerksam, deswegen einen Punkt Abzug. Das Ambiente ist ein wenig langweilig aber zweckbestimmt, sauber und somit in Ordnung. Ich komme sicher wieder. Leider kann man hier für Preis/Leistung keine Punkte vergeben. Von mir gäbe es da glatt 5!

Wir können das Balkan Restaurant am Markt allen nur empfehlen!!! Schon am Telefon wurden wir bei der Tischreservierung herzlich begrüßt. Der Service, das Essen (sehr lecker, gute Portionen) und das Ambiente sind wirklich super. Man kann sich sogar seinen Salat (super knackig und frisch) am Buffet selbst zusammenstellen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und wünschen dem Team einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend❤️

We stopped by with 15 people after a raft trip on the Niers River, having booked in advance. All 15 participants were thoroughly satisfied. We had a beautifully decorated table in front of us, ordering went smoothly, and everyone had their food on the table almost at the same time. Highly recommended!

Half a year ago we had a lovely meal. The service was super nice and the owner we spoke to briefly was very nice and helpful, we will definitely come back here again!

The restaurant is located directly on the market square. Paid parking is available nearby; free after 6:00 PM. I enjoy visiting the restaurant again and again. The food is very good, it's reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is cozy. The owners personally attend to their guests. Free Wi-Fi is available. Highly recommended; reservations for the evening are recommended.

We visited the Balkan restaurant for the second time. Everything was fine again. Delicious food, very good service, very friendly. It won't be our last celebration there.

Wir essen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne hier, vorzugsweise mittags. Eine preiswerte Mittagskarte und eine größere Abendkarte stehen zur Auswahl. Mittags gibt es eine Rindfleischsuppe vorab. Zum Hauptgericht gibt's Salat vom Buffet. Alle bisher von uns probierten Hauptgerichte (Leber, Chevapcici, Schnitzel, Fisch, veg. Schnitzel usw.) haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Lokal sauber und die Preise günstig. Was will man mehr?

A really great restaurant. We were lucky to get a spot without a reservation, but this worked out great. The food was super tasty and the portions were very generous. A great little salad buffet where you can put together your own salad. The service was friendly, only the older of the two waitresses would have liked to show a little more friendliness and emotion. Otherwise a great evening in a great restaurant. Gladly again!

Nice place to have a hot meal in the afternoon. No wooden quisine, just good food. The so-called "senior counter" is also highly recommended for younger people. Friendly, quick service and parking space in front of the door.

I ended up here by accident. My impression was: Very crowded. A good sign. From conversations with others I could tell that many came regularly. Also good. We were lucky and got a small table. To our delight, the food, service and ambience were very good. Conclusion: We would love to come back.

I don't like writing bad reviews and that can vary from day to day, but that may need to be communicated. I went to this restaurant for the first time last night and ordered a portion of cevapcici. The experience was extremely average, to say the least. The Cevapcici from Aldi taste much better. The fries were almost inedible because they were fried in very old oil. The small spoonful of Djuvec rice served was average. The salad bar is bland but you can eat it. 20 minutes after eating my plate was still on my seat and I hadn't seen the service by then, so I had to go to the front to pay. Unfortunately, it's just a waste of money.

Unfortunately, the waitress we had to pay to wasn't the nicest (you can't be in the same good mood all day long). I found it a bit strange that one waiter only served and the other only took cash. But that's probably the case with them. But that shouldn't be the case. My companion and I really enjoyed the food, the portions were just right and otherwise the rest was good too. Attentive waiter. We'd love to come back.

Today September 15, 2024 we ate a delicious Snitzel Hawaij. Very friendly service, I would definitely recommend everyone to eat here. I regularly went to El Toro in Kranenburg, but this restaurant is 100% better.

I ordered a table for the evening at lunchtime and the reservation was confirmed by the staff. When we got there in the evening there was no table available and they said there was no reservation. I showed my phone history, which clearly showed that I had called there, and the waiter said, even though there were now free tables, that we should leave.

Vriendelijke bediening en lekker gegeten voor een goede prijs. Mooie locatie aan het plein en verder is er een saladebar beschikbaar die er erg goed en verzorgd uitzag.
