Baklava Dünyasi Turkish Süswaren in Duisburg

Very bad service, I paid 30 euros so that at the end I was told that my child, who is 2 years old, cannot eat food from outside. I just wanted to give my child something so that I could drink a coffee or eat something sweet in peace, but even though it's about a child you're not allowed.

We paid 5 euros for a trilece. Way too expensive! And that too in Duisburg.

The lady was very unfriendly. Ten of us drove 600km to eat there. In the end, we were told that she was the only salesperson and that we couldn't eat anything in the store. We were kicked out. It was a disappointment for us. The food tastes really good, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing.

Service & Payment Terms The service leaves something to be desired, especially when it comes to payment conditions - card payments are only possible from 10 euros. With a product portfolio that costs a maximum of 8 euros (including tea), this is simply impractical, especially with such a hearty dessert like baklava. What bothered me even more, however, was the unfriendly way in which it was made clear to you at the checkout that card payments from 10 euros were accepted. A little more rhetorical skill would be desirable here. For dessert I chose the classic version: Kare Baklava with pistachios. Baklava is originally from Antep, a province in Turkey known for its outstanding cuisine and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since I have already eaten baklava from the best masters there, my standards are correspondingly high. I don't normally eat baklava in Germany, but this time I wanted to make an exception and go on a little culinary adventure. Visual impression Visually, it was exactly what a Kare Baklava should be – fresh, appealing and without complaint. After all, the eye eats too. ;) The top layer was nice and crispy, and there were no American pistachios inside, which are usually thicker and taste rather bland. Important information: • American pistachios are cheaper per kilo, but have a less intense taste. • Antep pistachios are more expensive, smaller, more aromatic and more nutritious. I immediately recognized that high-quality Antep pistachios were actually used here - a pleasant surprise! Many competitors save on ingredients, but a good baklava can quickly cost up to 40 euros per kilo. The first bite – promising! The first bite was crispy and had a pleasant texture in the mouth. Then came the flavor nuances: I immediately tasted high-quality butter - a clear sign of quality. This typical taste reminded me of traditional pasture butter that comes from good animal husbandry. Of course I can't say for sure, but it was exactly the aroma that I know from our village - and I recognize that quality straight away. The big problem: the sugar But then came the sugar – and my palate had an extreme problem. The sugar had an acrid taste - slightly sour, artificially glucose-rich and far too dominant. This completely destroyed the high standards of baklava. My guess: 1. Excessive caramelization → This can make the sugar bitter and unpleasant. 2. Cheap citric acid or too much lemon juice → Some companies use cheap acid concentrates that leave a pungent taste. 3. Glucose syrup instead of sugar → I hope not, but you can often tell by the viscous consistency of the syrup on the baklava. I couldn't determine this. Conclusion One of the best baklava I've eaten in Germany - but still not at the level that would be possible. Everything was right. But sugar was saved - and that's exactly what ruined the entire taste experience. Too bad!

The food offered here is very tasty and traditional. Unfortunately, like so many things today, the price has risen. The ambience is great and the service is very friendly and also very good.

Baklava Dünyası in Duisburg Hochfeld is disappointing across the board. The prices are outrageously high and the quality of the baklavas leaves something to be desired: artificial flavors, excessive sweetness and a dry texture. The location in Duisburg Hochfeld also does not contribute to a pleasant experience, as the surroundings are not very inviting. If the store were blessed with a skyline view, ocean view or other great scenery, one could understand the high prices. Overall, Baklava Dünyası is not recommended in terms of taste or atmosphere. If you're looking for good baklava, avoid this place.

Yesterday I bought baklava and two small cakes for my children - that's the biggest rubbish ever! The cake was rock hard and smelled like the milk had been left in the cream for 2 weeks. I can't describe the smell🤮. I also bought half a kilo of mixed bakla with cocoa and it was really dry and couldn't be eaten. Just because you want to earn a few euros more you can't sell such rubbish to customers, so sorry, I'll drive from Mönchengladbach to Duisburg just for rubbish. So people buy your baklava from somewhere else, I'm stinking mad, even one star is too much 😡

We specifically took a detour to get something sweet. Delicious baklava other than ordinary desserts, tarts etc

The tall guy with curly hair made our evening. Best place I’ve seen so far. We stayed only 10 minutes but it was such a great time it felt like seconds, we left with a good mood, a great smile and then got home and tasted what we bought, all I can say is OMG. You have to try this desserts. They are AMAZING. 5 out of 5 for everything. The service was great, the place looks really nice and the products are more delicious than you can think of. GO AND EAT GUYS! It’s worth it!!

Lust auf Künefe bekommen, 15 min gefahren 20 min Parkplatz gesucht für einen Künefe der schlechter hätte nicht sein können. Ich habe das erste mal einen Künefe gegessen, den ich runterwürgen musste und meine Begleiter waren gleicher Meinung. Es war zudem in Butter geschwommen, was ich am Abend immer wieder hochkam. Zu dem kostet der künefe 9€ völlig unverständlich bei der kleinen Portion und der Qualität. Und all die guten Rezensionen verstehe ich sowieso nicht.

Also bei aller liebe, wer in diesem laden auch nur Kaffee bestellt hat kein Respekt vor seiner eigenen Person ! Der Typ mit den langen Haaren ist so unfreundlich….. Junge junge Junge

Künefe mit Eis war sehr lecker. Es war auch nicht extrem süß das man bei der Hälfte aufhören musste. Die Dame mit Kopfbedeckung war sehr freundlich und sympathisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Ein Mitarbeiter war sowas von aufdringlich dass es uns kein Spaß mehr machte da zu essen. Wir haben höflich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir uns unwohl fühlen, wurden aber mit Null Einsicht und dummen Kommentaren widerwillig in Ruhe gelassen. Also von mir keine Empfehlung. Sonst war mein Essen zwar zu süß (gehört dazu) aber lecker. Es gibt noch ein weiterer Standort, den ich im nächst probieren werde. Hier in Hochfeld, nie wieder solange dieser unangenehmer Person da ist.

Leider hat Google diesen Store angezeigt aber meine Freundin kennt einen anderen Standort und war davon mehr begeistert. Hier herrscht kein System im Ablauf, Menü Karten gibt es nicht. Bestellung schwierig. Obwohl hier viele Sitzplätze gibt stand keine Toilette für die Besucher zu Verfügung. Die Auswahl war auch nicht so groß wie der Name "Baklava Welt" es verspricht.

Hier gibt es weit und breit die leckersten Baklava überhaupt 😋 Ich bin extra aus Dortmund hergefahren, da es bei uns leider keine große Auswahl an Baklavaci gibt (Nurpastanesi, Yüksel usw.) und es bei weitem nicht so gut schmeckt. Wir lieben diese antepfistikli Baklava-Sorten. Jedes Teilchen ein Genuss. Daher sehr zu empfehlen 👍🏽 Ich hoffe die Qualität wird stets beibehalten.

Nach einem Essen ist ein Nachtisch immer sehr gut angebracht. Wir waren mit mehreren Personen zu Besuch, wir hatten unterschiedliche Sachen bestellt, baklava’s , Sütlac und tirilice was wirklich gut geschmeckt hat. Die baklavas waren ok. Als Getränke hatten wir Türkischen Mokka und Tee es gut war. Was mir gefallen hat, war die Ambiente im Style von yesilcam altes türkisches Filmindustrie. Ein Lokal was man mit Freunden besuchen kann.

Ich war heute das erste Mal dort... Ich wurde sehr sehr nett bedient und beraten... die Baklavas waren auch sehr sehr gut an jetzt bin ich Stammkunde!!!

Ich persönlich mag den anderen Store mehr. Hier sind die Baklavas leider nicht so frisch wie beim anderen Baklava Dünyasi und die Auswahl geringer. Beim letzten Besuch hatte der Laden einen unangenehmen Geruch. Dennoch waren die vorherigen Besuche gut und deswegen 4Sterne.

War heute um süßes Gebäck zu kaufen dort.Stand vor der Theke um bedient zu werden.Kam mit der Verkäuferin ca.45 Jahre alt mehrmals Auge in Auge.Sie war jedesmal mit anderen Sachen beschäftigt und hat mich nicht beachtet.Sie war mit ihrem Handy auch beschäftigt. Ich stand wirklich fast 10 min. vor der Theke bis irgendwann meine Geduld geplatzt ist.Als Ich daraufhin Sie von Ihren anderen Sachen unterbrach und fragte: Ob Ich was bestellen kann, hat Sie mich gefragt ob eine Bestellung vorliege :-( Das habe Ich vorher in keinem Geschäft erlebt und habe nach dieser Aussage vom Verkäuferin den Laden auch sofort verlassen. Hier würde Ich in Zukunft nie wieder was kaufen und bitte daher die Geschäftsführung sich mit Problemen und Kritik von Kunden auseinanderzusetzen.

Mann kann nur mit BARGELD zahlen. Warum wohl?! Man munkelt dass das Finanzamt nicht genau mitbekommen soll was eingenommen wird. Damit die Herren ihre Taschen sich voll machen können müssen Kunden darunter leiden

Wir waren heute zu besuch bei Baklava Dünyasi und was soll ich sagen -es wurde ein sehr kurzer Aufenthalt. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es sehr voll war, wollten wir uns eine ruhige Ecke suchen und zu unserem Glück wurde auch nach kurzer Zeit ein Tisch frei. Als wir uns jedoch hinsetzen wollten, forderte der Kellner uns auf, einen anderen Tisch zu suchen, weil es sich um einen Tisch mit mehreren Plätzen handele und ja noch andere Gäste mit mehreren Personen kommen könnten. Der Witz an der ganzen Geschichte ist, dass vor uns auch nur ein Paar ( 2 Personen) an diesem Tisch saßen. Gastfreundschaft sieht definitiv anders aus !
