Amazing indian food, special kids meal, great service

I was a fan of Badshah for a long time, but the quality went steadily downhill: once the food was completely bland, even though it was spicy, and once it was very oversalted. The last order a day ago came 45 minutes late. However, the quality was even more annoying: I ordered Bhartha as medium to hot, and there was no trace of spiciness. Likewise, there is no trace of Indian cheese in the Vegetable Jalfrezi and no hint of Indian either: the vegetables are covered in a tomato sauce - although hot - but thin, strange, cheap, like it comes from a can. It had nothing to do with Indian food and tasted terrible. I didn't find any garlic in the garlic naan either, it was just dry and tough. The price of €32 is not worth the meal. So that was my last order. But there are tons of better Indians in Munich.

The lunch buffet is really ok! The selection is limited, but that's really okay at 11.90 all you can eat! Tasty in taste. Some kind of starter or small dessert would be great at the buffet!

This is one of the best Indian hotel. True taste of Indian dishes. Staff members are very good and friendly.

Very best Indian in Munich, by far. There is a lunch buffet on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Particularly great: the cheese in the paneer dishes is homemade, the daal is a dream! The terrace outside is large, shady and cozy.

Good real Indian with food on site but delivery also possible. For lunch there is a small starter in the restaurant. Either salad or soup. A little mango cream for dessert. Suitable for lunch. Not too much, not too little. Delivery is also good 👍 and fast. Everything is always hot 🔥 and enough rice 🍚. Currently our favorite Indian.

I really liked the food here and the good thing is the service of the restaurant. They are owned and managed by very nice people and additionally the taste is authentic Indian. If you want to taste authentic Indian food and crave for the same then it is must to at least try the restaurant for once. Their Samosas and Pakora are yummy and their main course will surely make you feel right at home 😊

Best butter chicken in 33 years👏🏻

Large portions, but still potential in terms of taste. The appetizer platter only has fried things that all taste the same, regardless of whether it has cauliflower, eggplant, potato or something else in it. Indistinguishable. Chicken Korma, Tikka Masala were ok, but there is also better chicken with a better consistency. The Garlic Naan had burnt residue on it (oven clean?)

I just ordered Lamb vindaloo from this place and I have a few comments, you cannot call it lamb vindaloo when there are only 4 tiny pieces of lamb. Calling it a vindaloo sauce would have been more accurate. The sauce was bland even with the excessive amount of oil/ghee. The naan was burnt or undercooked, no middle point. In short, everything was subpar and completely unacceptable. I would not order from here!

Very bad experience. The restaurant was near our hotel and we tried to have a family dinner based on a Google search. The food quality was very poor, and the service was almost bad. It took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 44 minutes to get anything to eat. The food quality was very poor and far from Indian quality.

Overall, a not very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. We had to wait a very long time for the food, while at least 6 orders to go were already prepared and taken away. The food was either oversalted, sometimes bland, the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through and was cold inside. The sauces didn't taste authentic either. Unfortunately, the price is disproportionate for this quality. But the mango lassi was very good.

Have been ordering here regularly for a year. Since there has been a new owner, the waiting times have been extremely long and do not agree with Lieferando. Food is not delivered “not spicy”, but rather slightly spicy, which is doubly annoying when you have to wait an hour.

The Best Butter Chicken In Munich! The food is authentic and better. I have never eaten Indian food in Munich, and all the other dishes also taste very good because they are well seasoned. My favorites are definitely Chicken Vindaloo & Butter Chicken. Try it!!!!

Essen bestellt war super Portion könnte etwas größer sein aber sonst sehr sehr gut. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde eingangen die Schärfe wurde angepasst. Großes Plus ist die Lieferzeit ging sehr flott! Weiter so

Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte. Unfassbar lecker und authentisch, toller Service, alles 5 Sterne und das verdient. Gebt dem Laden einfach eine Chance und bildet euer eigenes Urteil. Tipp, draussen sitzen im Sommer ist möglich.

The best Indian restaurant in Munich, hands down. We ate till we physically couldn't eat anymore. The service is topnotch, very attentive and accommodating personnel. I will dream of this biryani, or bhindi, or both...

Das Butterchicken ist sehr gut hier!

Can’t believe it took traveling to Europe to get my family to try Indian food. C’est la vie. Kid 1 and wife had butter chicken and loved it. Kid 2 (pickiest eater I know) had the mango chicken and did well enough with it. And I had the chicken tikki something or another and it was delightful. My weak American stomach may regret it tomorrow, but goodness that was delicious.

Very good value for the money! The food was authentic (ask for ‘desi style’ if you want a more authentic version, probably spicier). Super friendly waiter with a genuine smile. This place might become my go-to budget indian restaurant in munich.

Mild indisk mad i et lidt spøjst lokale og område. Ikke så mange gæster, men en fantastisk sød og ydmyg tjener, som skabte en god oplevelse. Maden var god, men ikke specielt krydret spændende - men velsmagende.

Habe über Lieferando bestellt. Wenn sich jemand Indisch bestellen will, würde ich es nicht hier tun. Ich hatte das Butter Chicken und es war sehr süß, die Hähnchenstücke waren eher Hähnchenklumpen. Das Naan war lecker, das Essen warm und die Lieferung schnell. Kann nicht empfehlen hier essen zu bestellen.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Super essen hat wirklich grandios geschmeckt und der Lieferant hat mir das bestellte Essen, direkt aufs Hotelzimmer gebracht. :D

Sehr gute authentische indische Küche. Alle Speisen schmecken frisch und aromatisch. Der Service ist freundlich und geduldig. Wir gehen wieder hin. Sehr schön ist auch, dass man abends die Möglichkeit hat sowohl an der Sonnenseite als auch im Schatten sitzen zu können.

Very fast delivery. The delivery man was very kind and happy. The meals taste awesome and are good quality. It has a halal certificate!

Great service by our very polite waiter. Low wait times for dishes. Food was mildly spiced & very authentic. We had a fried fish starter, butter chicken, reshmi kebab & lamb biryani. The fried fish starter & lamb biryani was too good. Mango lassi was flavorful & refreshing. I liked their lamb preparation more than the chicken.

Wir hatten Lust auf indisches Essen und haben spontan angerufen und nach einem Tisch für 5 Personen gefragt. Am Telefon wurde uns sehr freundlich zugesagt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Wir haben schon oft indisch gegessen-hier das bisher beste Butter-chicken! Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und kommen bei unserem nächsten München-Besuch ganz sicher wieder!

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Einrichtung und wir mussten kaum auf das Essen warten, das ging richtig schnell. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet! 😊

Sehr leckeres Essen! Große Portionen zu fairen Preisen. Dazu eine sehr freundliche, höfliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Oft ist nicht viel los (was mir ein Rätsel ist) und es gibt Plätze draußen mit Abendsonne. Da in einem Wohnviertel gelegen, auch angenehm ruhig.

Ein kleines indisches Lokal. Wir hatten 1 x am Abend Essen bestellt. Kam schnell geliefert und war noch gut warm. Gestern hatte ich dort Essen mitgenommen. Wartezeit ca. 15 Min. Sehr große Portion und sehr gut verschweisst für den Transport. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr hervorzuheben ist das Team, wo jeder einzelne sehr zuvorkommend ist. Im Sommer schön zum draußen sitzen und das Essen schmeckt auch lecker

Ich war mit meiner Mutter dort zum Abendessen…von Außen wirkte es nicht super einladend jedoch gaben wir dem Restaurant eine Chance und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Ich war schon in vielen indischen Restaurants aber so begeistert war ich das letzte mal in London…da können alle Restaurants in meiner Heimat Hamburg nicht mithalten! Wir bestellen Chicken Tikka Masala und Lamm Vindaloo…dazu ein garlic Naan! Das Naan war fantastisch! Knusprig und fluffig…das Lamm würzig und perfekt abgeschmeckt! die Schärfe so wie gewünscht! Bin immernoch total begeistert! Das Beste kommt aber noch…nachdem wir uns mit der Bedienung (vermutlich der Chef?!) ein wenig unterhalten hatten und wir erwähnten das meine Mutter morgen Geburtstag hat (70ten) schenkte er uns eine Flasche indischen Shiraz von 2014…was für ein herrlicher Wein ! Was für eine Liebe Geste! ich kann nur jedem Empfehlen dort essen zu gehen…!! Was für liebe und aufmerksame Menschen! Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen und den unfassbar leckeren Wein! (Welcher übrigens 15-20€ im Einkauf kostet) sind total überwältigt von dieser netten Geste!!!!
