Bachstelze in Erfurt

We were able to take part in two events in the “Bachstelze” and it was always a great experience. Always happy!!!

It was a wonderful evening and completely different from what we usually know. Thank you for the lovely time.

We went to the “Barbecue unplugged” event twice and were really excited. Both times we had an unforgettable evening. The hosts are warm, open and very personable. Both the hosts and chefs as well as the guests spread a good mood. The food and the selected wines and drinks are sensationally good. There is something for everyone. Thanks to the small, very tasty portions, you can try many amazing dishes. We will definitely come back, maybe to another event and we are fans!

A fairytale place near Erfurt. You immediately have the feeling of being at home with friends - just a very warm atmosphere. The food is prepared by Maria herself and tastes excellent. And if you're staying in a tiny house on site, this is the perfect cozy place to end the evening. A little vacation from reality :)

It's not natural to feel so welcome - especially if, like me, you're going out alone that evening. But your hospitality made me feel completely integrated and well entertained. The food was excellent and the wine pairing, so carefully curated by Matthias, was a real delight. Both show great skill and passion – a special thank you for that! I was also deeply impressed by your property. It radiates an inviting cosiness and tells its own stories with its charm and history. I would be very happy to return in the summer to be able to enjoy the terrace and garden in full bloom. Even though January had its own charm with its wintry magic, the little house seemed to be in a deep sleep - a hidden gem that is sure to awaken even more in the summer. An extraordinary place with an almost family atmosphere - you are warmly welcomed, there is singing and of course the food is spectacular, not forgetting the very good wines and the non-alcoholic drinks, which were unusual for my palate, but which harmonized perfectly with the food. We would like to thank Maria and Matthias and the whole team for this wonderful evening.

It was my first time attending a fine dinner and I have to say, I was very skeptical at first. But this went away very quickly because I noticed how much passion was put into the ambience and the food. It was a really great experience and a very tasty meal and the accompanying drinks were also a pleasure. Even if it is at a higher price level, I would do it again. Highly recommended. I also thought it was great that Maria and Matthias took time for the guests, had conversations with everyone and talked shop about food and drinks. Also a shout out to the very friendly staff. Everyone was there with all their hearts. A successful evening and despite previous concerns, we went home completely full and satisfied.

We were able to spend a fantastic New Year's Eve with Maria, Matthias and their team. The food was really great: caviar, lobster, oysters, champagne and so much more together with great craftsmanship really impressed us at the turn of the year - thank you very much! The evening was a complete success. Arriving at the comfortably lit restaurant was nice and we were warmly welcomed by Matthias and his team. Every single course was an experience for the eyes and the taste buds! The wine accompaniment was also a special and tasteful experience. The conversation with Maria afterwards was very nice and we were able to clarify ingredients that we couldn't identify ourselves. It's great that you took the time to look at each table individually. We ate at the Bachstelze in October 2024 for a very special 10-course outdoor menu. It was fantastic😇, the food was simply TOP CLASS and we felt very comfortable right from the start and were well looked after at all times. The personal and very warm welcome from Maria and Matthias creates a very warm atmosphere right from the start. December 27, 2024: I'm not sure what today's response to my post from 4 years ago means, but I would like to ask again that you spare us from any accusations. There was no “clarified” email from us because we did not do what we were accused of (destroying the outdoor Christmas decorations). We were harshly accused and threatened with the police. Back then, Matthias, I encouraged you to please take this threatened route and bring forward the alleged video recordings. The whole thing borders on slander. So be careful - you should leave that alone now. I also take no responsibility for the behavior of individuals in the group. Speaking for myself as an individual, I really enjoyed the culinary discourse with you at the time, didn't feel guilty about anything and was extremely shocked by the subsequent course of action in the chain of accusations. Addition/Addendum: What was an unforgettably beautiful evening turned into an unforgettably irritating evening. First of all: Maria is an excellent cook; I have actually never eaten better. However, a few days after that evening we received an accusatory email saying that regular guests had observed us rioting after leaving the location. Christmas balls smashed, whatever. Instead of asking, according to the motto "if in doubt for the accused", whether we felt addressed, we were immediately given the accusation and asked to comment on it. An indescribable outrage, especially on the part of Maria's partner, who took over the administration for this. There were direct threats about the night cameras hanging everywhere and the reporting that would result. It was incredibly cheeky and arrogant to give the so-called regular guests the absolute right to tell the truth and thus let other guests drive into the wall. We won't be coming back. I'm sorry in my heart, but maybe things would go better with someone who doesn't come across as arrogant and self-confident as Matthias. Sorry. A unique and special experience. Family atmosphere, you spend the entire evening with the same guests. Great tasteful location, great cuisine, I've never eaten better! Regional, seasonal, reinterpreted. After her “duty” in the kitchen, Maria took plenty of time for her guests. Your partner Matthias organizes the processes and looks after the guests during the evening. So warm, a touch of Alpine flair, I would describe the whole thing as a great "concept restaurant". Absolutely recommended!

The campaign with the children's home is truly world class.

Great food but unfortunately everything else is a disaster. I think there are numerous 1-star reviews and you can only agree with them. The arrogance and greed of the host (Matthias) is truly world class.

The location is special, as is the loving design of the entire complex outside and inside -> a family oasis of well-being, The cuisine: perfectly prepared dishes with regional, fresh ingredients. Authentic top gastronomy that has several stars: First of all, Maria, creatively lively, top chef. The food: regional, unconditionally fresh. The team: Service-oriented, to the point. Finally: This restaurant has rough edges. “That’s life” (Frank Sinatra)

Update: You see, having fun with the people at the table is not allowed and beware of looking a little bit at the cost explosion at the end of the evening. If you spend less than €500 here you are a second class guest, seated at the high table with the table legs between your legs, so that you can only endure the boss and the evening with a lot of alcohol. Craziness! And you invite your “regulars” when the store is not fully booked. Sad! We are still speechless, unfortunately. The food is great, without question. However, the boss's audacity is so pronounced that we unfortunately cannot recommend the Wagtail. What is missing here is clarity! Clarity about the prices (welcome drink, service fee, price for the menu…) and about the course of the evening. The gallows humor of the other guests at our table made the 5 hours somewhat bearable. Otherwise we would probably have left much sooner. We won't be coming back! Shame about the money!

Being with you as guests was planned long in advance and was a special experience. The atmosphere was like a large, cozy living room, your welcome and your commitment to the service were personal, attentive and perfect. The range of drinks and refined, home-made, non-alcoholic delicacies, with reference to local harvest, brilliant. The dishes are regional and seasonal, carefully balanced and prepared with sophistication and attention to detail. The surprise menu was in fact more than sufficient, so that the crowning main course was almost too much. A note on the number and variety of courses would have helped us here. Personal conversations with the hosts rounded off the perfect evening. The outdoor ambience is beautifully installed and shows the hosts' love and dedication to detail. Thank you very much!

Fantastic, high-quality, delicious food - individual, lovingly predestined - relaxed, cheerful atmosphere - worth every cent - we had an unforgettable evening (there were four of us 👍)

Zur Preisgestaltung gibt es nur eines vorab zu sagen. Absolut fair und angemessen. Es steht alles auf Tafeln und man wird stets gefragt ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Daher sagt die Vorrednern nicht ganz die Wahrheit. Egal. Es war ein exzellenter Abend mit First Class Entertainment. Weiter so.

Ambiente und Kulinarik sind über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Wir haben hervorragend gegessen und den Abend sehr genossen. Was für mich persönlich nicht gelungen ist, ist das Thema Preisgestaltung: Wie hier bereits auch mehrfach angemerkt, hat man als Gast keinerlei Einblick in die Getränkepreise und sollte auch wissen, dass das Nachschenken der Weine (immer in dasselbe Glas - kann man machen, aber ist dann halt Mist!) ganz wunderbar und zügig klappt. ;-) Auch das vermeintliche „Willkommensgetränk“ kostet. Grundsätzlich ist das okay, aber es wird klar der Eindruck vermittelt, dass es eine freundliche Geste des Hauses ist. Wenn dann der Chef des Hauses die kleine Weinbegleitung wörtlich als „langweilig“ bezeichnet und empfiehlt, unbedingt die große zu nehmen, dürfte eigentlich alles klar sein. Ich habe diese plumpe Geschäftstüchtigkeit als unangenehm empfunden, aber mit Humor genommen, weil der Abend trotzdem toll war. Alles in allem: War gut, aber muss nicht nochmal sein.

Our “Way Wagtail” experience in August 2024 You sit in the gravel bed on hard chairs/benches with sheepskin at 30 degrees Celsius and are kept happy with “small snacks” for about 4 hours and that only because Matthias (partner/husband of the boss) wants to distribute (sell) his wines ! We, who only drink water for health reasons (which was only available in plastic cups), therefore had to pay a service fee of €310.00 (menu for 2 people) in addition to €310.00. Pay €30.00, about which we had no prior information (see website mariaostzone.de under Dining / what to eat? Quote: “… The menu can also be enjoyed vegetarian and includes Grander water…” No, We have never experienced so much cheek and ignorance towards guests anywhere. By the way, there was an unironed tea towel as napkins and the cutlery wasn't even changed between courses (e.g. the spoon was used to pick up the sauce until the sweet dessert). The operators should seriously think about this!!!

The food at Wagtail is fantastic -- creative, exciting and delicious. Big praise to Maria Groß. Not everyone will like the surroundings. Host Matthias wants to create an unconventional communal experience in the actually idyllic garden, but often oversteps the mark - fairy tale radio plays in the toilet are okay... but the invitation to sing together, long-winded speeches about the philosophy of the restaurant, criticism of it is not the mood of the guests corresponded to his wishes (not everyone took part in the sing-along activity); on the other hand, no information about how many and which courses await you? Also rather unusual: Anyone who has opted for a drink accompaniment with a fixed price is offered an additional glass with each course, which comes across as a bit pushy in the long run, even though it is of course known that restaurants make a large part of their profits from drinks . All in all, a great culinary evening and I would have liked a little more restraint from the host. The chef is rightly the star here. Just let them do it and let the guests enjoy the food :)

Top gastronomy in a rustic and family location - great summer feeling with interesting non-alcoholic drinks accompaniment

Besser geht's nicht! Es ist hier alles anders und das ist das schöne daran. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl und ich liebe es auch einmal ungezwungen auf so einem großartigen Niveau essen zu können. Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so viel gelacht. Wir haben an einem Abend das Menü genossen. Es war unglaublich gut. Eingeläutet wird der Abend, in dem man zusammen singt, ungewöhnlich, aber es kommt automatisch eine andere Stimmung dadurch auf, da man einfach herzhaft lachen muss. Vom Gastgeber Matthias wird alles erklärt am Anfang: Die Küchenlinie findet nach dem Motto regional, saisonal und Zero waste statt. Das ist genau unser Ding. Wir hatten Gänge wie: Ein Starter war ein Gruß aus Thüringen: Blutwurst spicy, eine sanft gegarte Forelle mit Bisque und einem geeisten Fenchelsalat, ein spannender Gang zwischendurch bestand aus Zucchini und Erdbeeren, es gab Reh als Hauptgang dazu Wirsing, Tomatensalat und eine Sauce. Es waren in etwa 14 Teller, die wir erhalten haben und für uns war alles komplett am Punkt. Zum Schluss gab es die Wahl zwischen Käse uns Dessert, wir haben geshared, das passte für uns auch wunderbar. Empfehlenswert ist die antialkoholische Begleitung, diese hat mich total geflasht! Wir haben einmal antialkoholisch, einmal alkoholisch gewählt, um zu sharen. Und ich muss gestehen, dass ich noch nie so eine gute antialkoholische Begleitung erlebt habe. Es ist alles oder so gut wie alles selbst angesetzt. Ein tolles Level, das man in so manch anderen hoch dekorierten Restaurants nicht erlebt. Zum Schluss haben wir Karten bekommen und haben unseren beiden Müttern Postkarten gesendet - was für eine nette Idee! Dann haben wir noch ein Fest miterlebt, es war die Sommer BBQ Edition, bei der Nelson Müller, Vroni Lutz und Daniel Klein als Gastköche mit dabei gewesen sind. Das Ticket kostet Euro 299,-. Keine Schnäppchen, dafür ist aber alles all in. Und wir waren "gute" Gäste ;-) Wir haben getanzt, gelacht und gefeiert und wir haben uns durch alle Gerichte und Getränke gekostet. Am Anfang wurden unzählige kleine Gerichte aus der Küche geschickt, bevor die Cooking Stations eröffneten. 2 Cooking Stations waren outdoor eingerichtet bzw 3, da der Hausherr auch einen Grill "bediente", 2 waren indoor (ein Gastkoch und die Chefin Maria selbst). Zum Schluss schickte Maria Gross noch ein Dessert aus der Küche, dazu gab es unzählige Pralinen von Goldhelm Schokolade. Für uns war alles stimmig und wir haben schon viele Feste in dieser Art erlebt. Derartige Feste sind nie mit einem ruhigen Abend in einem Restaurant zu vergleichen, aber das geniale daran ist, dass man Köche kennenlernt, auf die man so schnell sonst nicht treffen würde. Und weil ich es in einer anderen Bewertung gelesen habe: Es gibt Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten - aber nur wenige. Ohne Frühstück. Mir ist ohne Frühstück immer recht, da ich ohnehin nicht frühstücke. Aber übernachten geht auf Anfrage. Wir haben direkt dort genächtigt. Die Fotos sind "nur" vom Abend, an dem wir im Restaurant gegessen haben, nicht von der Sommer Grill Party.

Tolle küche, Maria Gross/ Ostzone kocht selbst, super Ambiente, jeden Euro wert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The restaurant and especially the beer garden are often closed, including Pentecost 2022 and 2024. Furthermore, the slogan “Love and Peace” announced on the slate is very misleading. That was a motto from the legendary Woodstock Festival in 1969 where some of the food was given out free of charge to the countless fans. The Bachstelze restaurant is rated by visitors as being expensive at over €100 per guest. This and the constant closure of the beer garden probably have nothing to do with love and peace.

A few things in advance: If you are annoyed about the pricing, it has to do with the philosophy, it is cooked regionally and seasonally, it is practically always something different that you get and if it is prepared by a star chef and her team, then you have to take into account that it can't be snack prices! We can only afford this once a year, but then with high expectations. And these were so fulfilled... We had I think 15 courses and were completely full at the end. The service was good and quick and yes, you should be a little careful about what kind of drinks you choose, they will gladly and quickly refill them. But if you send a clear signal about what you want or don't want, then it will be accepted just as friendly. The food itself was just fantastic. A little tip: Don't try to taste the individual components of the courses to find out what's in them, the combination of them all is the secret! Thank you for the lovely evening, where else do you experience the cook coming to all the tables and simply chatting with the guests...

Wer einmal hier war, der weiß was noch gute Gastronomie ist. Einfach wunderbar. Service, Ambiente und Essen sind ein Traum.

Leider für uns der totale Flop. Wir hatten kein Essen weil unsere Reservierung "verschwunden" war obwohl ich eine schriftliche Bestätigung vorlegen konnte. Uns wurde eine Ersatz-light- Menü angeboten, welches wir abgelehnt haben. Grund dafür: das arrogante Verhalten des Hausherren, der sich weder entschuldigt hat, noch annähernd seinen Fehler eingesehen hat. Das uns von ihm angebotene Glas Sekt hätten wir dann noch bezahlen sollen - wovon nie die Rede gewesen war. Und Matthias: ich weiß jetzt schon wie dein reply hierauf aussehen wird😆

We drove an extra 300 km and were totally thrilled. Simply great food, great service! Everything fits there! It's a shame it's so far away from us. For us it was perfect! 👌

Yesterday we were allowed to be guests of Maria and her husband, Matthias, as part of a company outing. It was crazy. We were welcomed outside in a cozy and very warm atmosphere with an aperitif, optionally non-alcoholic, and very tasty appetizers to get us in the mood for a magical evening. Matthias, of course, contributed to this with his very warm manner of moderation. Since the weather was April-worthy, we were also set up in the restaurant so that we could easily move inside - even though Monday would actually have been a rest day. I appreciate it all the more that we were still allowed to stop in. Thank you thank you thank you. A potpourri of vegetarian/vegan little things awaited us, which were already available on the tables - and they were so wonderfully prepared that you could just be amazed. Home-baked bread was served, there were home-made dips made from regional ingredients and various delicacies with asparagus, lentils and tomatoes - and that was just the first act of the fairy tale. We continued with the really nice and very attentive staff and the main course bites: No glass remained empty for long, as our well-being was always taken care of and drinkable, very tasty wine as well as non-alcoholic wine and lemonade made from our own harvest were poured, always upon request. The staff was really, really attentive. We were served the most buttery salmon I have ever eaten, along with lamb fillet, guinea fowl breast and a beef fillet that was so tender that I have no words for it. Sorry, but it was so brilliant and so profound in terms of taste that I have to pause for a moment... I have never eaten better in my life than with Maria and Matthias. After we had been spoiled so much by Maria and Matthias, we also had dessert: Of course, ideal for me as someone with a sweet tooth - chocolate cake and my own creation of tiramisu with a delicious coffee poured into it and chocolate pearls in it. If you want to experience a really great evening with incredibly delicious food, fun and a good mood, this is absolutely the right place for you. From the greeting to the farewell, everything was perfect. Even things that I thought I would never eat are simply a taste explosion here. Many really great and elaborately prepared delicacies are served in quite a few courses. Plus the right drinks, which are also not “off the shelf”, whether alcohol-free or with a twist. If you think that such small portions won't fill you up, you're wrong. Come in, feel good and enjoy. I even ended up struggling to get everything done and I eat well. You should just find out about the prices in advance so that you don't end up being unpleasantly surprised. By this I mean considering not just the food itself, but also the drinks. My conclusion, absolutely recommended.

Maria is a good creative cook, but it was a bit too much. 16 courses (if I counted correctly) slay the taste buds. Just a little too much... Now to the sommelier/disc jockey/solo entertainer, whatever. What's going on there isn't possible at all. The guests will be overwhelmed and frightened when they get the bill. So I would like a little less show and more honesty for the wagtail. Kind regardseeeeee

After a long wait with reservations made long in advance, two people were finally there. The food and Maria are without question top!!! Very, very good cuisine. The ambience for these prices not again and not recommended! Uncomfortable bar stools in the corner in front of the kitchen, not comfortable but really uncomfortable. Ambience thrown together and not even remotely commensurate with the price. Maria's husband is terrible. Not wearable!!! There was no price to be found in advance and with 2 people for 500€ it was an impossible type, normally you would have had to go!!! The behavior was completely abysmal when we returned a non-alcoholic digestive schnapps that was inedible and turned out to be balsamic vinegar. With a succinct gesture of his hand and the statement to take him back with him, he completely lost his composure and became cheeky! Not acceptable at such a price! Not again for us and our relatives!

I like being there - it always feels like you're staying with good friends. Quality and taste are always excellent.

It was a wonderful evening. Everything was right, the ambience, the great service, the wines and schnapps, the coffee and the many small, excellent dishes. I miss my Erfurt excursion restaurant. It's bitter for the people of Erfurt that it's now only expensive and requires a reservation.

We were lucky enough to be guests in this magical place. Even from the street you can get a first impression that this is not a simple restaurant. Here, emphasis is placed on well-being and security. The outdoor area is decorated and decorated with so much love. Lights give the entire area a magical glow. As we entered the restaurant our first impressions were reinforced. The interior immediately gives you the feeling of being invited to your best friends' house. If I could, my living room would definitely look like this too. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table and then the magic began... A unique interplay of wines, food, funny anecdotes, very nice employees, fun and conversations began. You should definitely make your own impression. At the Wagtail you are definitely in the best hands if you like to be a guest and like to be surprised. We would like to thank you very much for the great hours here. The whole team and of course the two hosts. It was an unforgettable evening and will remain in my memory forever. Thank you very much. Food is good. But, 1) When I stepped in the restaurant, before even sitting down I was offered a “welcome” drink which should be considered “good service” BUT why it’s eventually on my bill if you didn’t show me the price at the time you offered me the drink???? Why didn’t you ever ask me if I would like to accept the offer with the price????? - I’m legally not eligible to pay in such case if in the UK! 2) Then this “welcome drink” was refilled once but AGAIN no one showed me the price!!!! - should I still pay? In the end, 4 drinks on the bill (for me and my husband) without knowing the price upfront, which is completely NOT acceptable! 3) During the meal, there was about 10-15 mins of the very loud fast tempo music which was at my intolerable level. I can see the unpleasant looking from other guests too. 4) I did receive a price range for the meal in the T&C in the email of booking reservation. I also understood that the price can change to fit the market food price on that day. However, again, I expected to see a confirmed price for the set meal when we sit down before the meal was served. This is basic courtesy. 5) During the meal, the sales of alcohol is quite pushy. Overall I’m not please with such service environment and transparency!

Dear Matthias, Please take the criticism to heart. I'm not rating our menu with this star in any way, just your service and your behavior. My impression that evening: Unfriendly waiter, crude sales tactics, poor hygiene. I don't have to say anything more about our evening. But I'm writing the review for the following reason: I'm beyond annoyed when I see other reviewers here being insulted by you online after a visit to the Wagtail. You do well when it comes to taste, aggression is out of place. An ironic “Greetings” at the end of insulting guests doesn’t make you any more likeable and to assume that you have suspicious competition is bordering on delusional. Criticism here is directed at the wagtail (legal person), not at the guests (natural persons). This is not only unfriendly towards paying customers and unreflective (as we all know, you can learn from criticism!), it is also simply punishable towards natural persons. A small suggestion as to how you could react instead, which you would be happy to adopt in the future: “It is regrettable to hear that your visit to the Wagtail was not to your satisfaction. That is not our claim. We thank you for your criticism and suggestions and look forward to welcoming you back soon.”

We expected more from this evening. The menu was really attractively presented, the little things that were served beforehand tasted okay except for the red cabbage, which you couldn't taste because of all the vinegar. Unfortunately there were so many little things that we didn't feel like eating the main menu anymore because we were already almost full. In terms of taste, we didn't find the main menu to be up to the level announced. The red trout was in a bed of fennel vegetables, but unfortunately you couldn't taste any of the trout because the fennel was too dominant. The sauce for the venison looked very dark, but it tasted bitter. On the whole, everything was over-seasoned with salt. We also found the constant encouragement to drink our glass annoying. We were the first to leave. We experienced something special there Surprise: We were greeted nicely, but when we got to the gate downstairs, it was locked with a padlock. We could have called the restaurant upstairs or gone up the stairs again. In the end, we decided to go over the fence . Because our tolerance limit had now been reached. Don't get us wrong, we're happy to spend over 400 euros for the two of us on a special evening with good food and good wine, but then everything has to be perfect and that wasn't it for us either, unfortunately .

Achtung Preise. Sind hier mittlerweile, wenn man die Leistung betrachtet, in ganz Deutschland die fairsten. Seit einem Jahr und im neuen Jahr auch nicht erhöht. Also ein absoluter Geheimtipp für alle Gourmets. Das Essen ist zwei Sterne wert und die Begleitgetränke ebenso. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig und der Service absolut top. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten das Abendmahl Menü mit kleiner Getränkebegleitung. Der Abend lässt sich definitiv als „außergewöhnlich“ beschreiben. Pro‘s: - kreative Gerichte/Getränke - ⁠hohe Qualität der Zutaten (tagesfrisch) - viele Gänge, viel Abwechslung - ⁠sehr guter und unterhaltsamer Service - ⁠Menge der Speisen (wir waren satt) - ⁠gemütliche Einrichtung - Maria, die Köchin kommt am Ende an jeden Tisch - und es gab noch noch eine Tüte mit Informationen und einem Glas eingemachter Wurst Con‘s: - Schlechte Kostenübersicht vorab…Menü wird mit 65 bis 165€ angegeben - beim Reinkommen gibt es gleich einen Aperitif, dass dieser 10€ für 0,1l kostet haben wir erst auf der Rechnung gesehen - für nichtalkoholische Säfte 0,1l werden ebenfalls stolze 10€ pro Glas berechnet - ⁠laute und unangenehme Musik am Anfang (waren nur 2 Songs, aber ich saß leider unter dem Lautsprecher) Trotz der Con‘s waren wir sehr zufrieden und geben dem Abend volle 5 Sterne.

Überteuertes essen bei dem man um aus Klo zu gehen raus muss. Kellner super nett. Chef Kellner einfach nur nervig. Preisgestaltung absolut undurchsichtig! War definitiv ein einmaliges Erlebnis, dass ich mir trotz Gutschein gerne gespart hätte. Da gibt es definitiv bessere Sterneküche mit professionellen Ambiente.

Nicht umsonst, Gastgeber des Jahres, für ganz Deutschland geworden. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar.Ich kenne kein vernünftiges Lokal, in dem Aperitif kostenfrei ist. Zumindest gibt es Billigprosecco bei uns nur beim Italiener auf‘s Haus. Man wird auch nirgendwo gleich mit dem Preis begrüßt, das ist stillos und taktlos. Wer das als Gast verlangt, hat einfach keine Ahnung was sich gehört. Zum Glück ist das Alles in der Bachstelze NICHT so. Hier wird Gastronomie noch gelebt wie sie sein soll. Und man fühlt sich wirklich wie ein Gast, für den (auf Augenhöhe) Alles gemacht wird, wenn er sich denn wie ein Gast verhält. Gute Laune, tolle Getränke und fantastisches Essen. Wir haben hier einen hervorragenden Winzersekt und einen absoluten Geheimtipp als Champagner getrunken, beides war mit das Beste, was wir in den letzten drei Jahren getrunken haben. Dafür 10 und 17 € zu verlangen ist nicht nur normal, sondern eher sehr gastfreundlich. Die Preise sind überall gut sichtbar angebracht und wer nur zum Sparen ausgeht, der sollte lieber nicht hier her gehen. Da gibt es günstige, Pizza-, oder Touristenkonzept-Alternativen um die Ecke. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns, dass es so ein wunderbare Lokalität mit normalen Preisen und so wahnsinnig guter Gastronomie gibt. Wie kommen gebürtig aus dem Schwarzwald und wohnen jetzt in Leipzig.

Wir waren gestern Abend in der Bachstelze für einen toskanischen Abend mit Gastköchin Simona zu Gast und waren restlos begeistert. Das Essen war spitzenmäßig, das Ambiente unglaublich warmherzig und gastfreundlich. Das war bereits unser zweiter Besuch und es werden sicher noch einige folgen! Liebe Maria, lieber Matthias und liebe Simona: Herzlichen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Abend!

Ich gebe 5 Sterne, weil wir einen sehr schönen Abend hatten mit hervorragendem Essen und gutem Wein. Trotzdem sollte man sich vorher über die Preise informieren. Es ist doch sehr exklusiv.

Wie haben einen gemütlichen, lustigen und wahnsinnig leckeren Abend in einer sehr angenehmen Gesellschaft erlebt. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut und im Überraschungsmenu schmeckt einfach jeder Gang! Wer das besondere sucht ist hier genau richtig!

Leider ist es nun schon wieder ein paar Stunden her, als wir hier eingekehrt sind. Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob es gut ist, hier zu viel zu schreiben. Um nicht zu viel von der Überraschung zu nehmen. Es lässt sich auf eine einfache Formel bringen: wunderbares Essen UND wunderbare Menschen. Tolles Konzept. Ein Abend der für uns nicht nur kulinarische Überraschungen geboten hat. Wir waren zum Kochevent mit Ludwig Maurer und Maria Groß im Restaurant "Bachstelze" in Erfurt und was soll ich sagen, es war genial. Tolles Essen, super Weine und die Gastgeber nett und sehr offen. Auch das Personal war freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Der Bachstelzenflavour ist eine Gaumenexplosion. Nicht nur die tadellose Küche und der ausserordentlich, unterhaltsame Service sind die Gründe, warum wir und unsere Freunde schon mehrfach hier waren. Das Gesamtpaket ist einfach einzigartig. Ein Besuch ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub, man wird von Anfang bis Ende verwöhnt. Das Essen, regional und handwerklich auf höchstem Niveau. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert, jeder Gang/Teller wird erklärt. Ganz besonders zu erwähnen ist auch der Bauchladen mit verschiedensten Likören und Essigen (alkoholfrei). Die Sparfüchse aus dem Supermakt, sollten lieber in die nächste „Dönerbude“ gehen. Nichts für Spießer oder Leute, die gefrustet sind. Zusammengefasst: geniales einzigartiges Gesamtkonzept, einfach unschlagbar!!!

Ausgezeichnetes Essen in familiärer Atmosphäre!
