We were passing through and stopped here for a break. Very cozy, friendly staff, good and relatively inexpensive food.

We ate here again today for a very long time and were incredibly satisfied. The service was great, the food even better. From now on we will go out for Greek food more often again. We thank you!

Greek food, just the way I like it. 😋 It's best to reserve a table in advance, as it's always very busy – and for good reason 😉 We (two people) went there spontaneously in the late afternoon. We were told that suitable tables were reserved, but we were still able to sit down. The reservation was only for the evening. The food arrived really quickly and was excellent: a fresh salad is always served beforehand. The service is friendly and very attentive. Haven't been there yet? Give it a try – it's worth it.

Friendly service, good food with reasonable value for money.

Service was rather unenthusiastic; orders were only taken after we asked, but then arrived very promptly. Change requests were accommodated without any problems. No one asked if we were satisfied or needed anything else. The food was average and seemed somewhat uninspired. The potatoes were quite hard. The ambiance was rather old-fashioned but clean.

Super friendly Food is super delicious When you make reservations with several people and three reservations in the evening, it doesn't really work. They get overwhelmed and make a lot of mistakes. But otherwise, if you go out to eat alone, everything is great and highly recommended.

Greetings from Lahr, Black Forest. Unfortunately, our visit was a while ago. We felt very comfortable and well looked after by you. Ioannis cooked for a family celebration for his friend and his family. I also remember the appetizer "Greetings from the Kitchen" – mushrooms stuffed with ham, absolutely delicious! Our favorite Greek restaurant! Bacchus is definitely one of the best Greek restaurants in the Hanover area. The menu has evolved steadily over the years – from fresh wellness salads to a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes that are rarely found at other Greek restaurants. My personal highlight is the pan-fried dishes with sauce – a delicious creation by the late restaurateur Ioannis Fournaris. You can feel true Greek hospitality here – thank you so much! We always enjoy coming back.

A Greek restaurant in a somewhat quirky setting. You enter through a barrel and have to take a winding path through a passageway in a high-rise building to get there. We sat inside in the rain, and it was a bit stuffy. The food is pretty average; the famous feta sauce is nothing special. The salad dressings were more like something out of a packet. The service was a bit unconventional, with some people adding to the menu from the next table.

We were at the restaurant with a large group. Ordering went smoothly, and the food arrived quickly. I had the vegetarian Suzuki with baked Cretan potatoes and a salad. The food was delicious. Everyone loved their meal. The portions were good and plentiful. The waitress, "the angel of the house" (according to the menu), could work on a bit more politeness. Unfortunately, the angel had already cleared the table, even though a few people were still eating.

I've known Baccus Arnum for a long time. The food here has always been delicious. Even the catering for a large party was super delicious. I had four meals to pick up yesterday: giros/souvlaki and pasta plates, etc. My guests and I were very disappointed. The food is well packaged, but why so much plastic if the portions don't fill the bowls? The quantity of each dish was incomparable to a plate served in a restaurant. The price/performance ratio was completely out of whack. Only the tzatziki, which unfortunately isn't available on grill plates and has to be ordered separately, was full. Sorry, Baccus, that really wasn't a good service for a pickup customer for a larger order. There's probably a difference between picking up and eating in. All the best anyway!

Meine Frau und ich waren in diesem Restaurant und waren rundum begeistert. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch – geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Sowohl meine Frau als auch ich waren total begeistert. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Wenn wir wieder in der Stadt sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder hierher essen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service und das großartige Erlebnis!

Went there today for dinner with four people...unfortunately there was bad service, the meat was tough and the overall atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable...we've been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years but we were only so disappointed today...😂 Finally, after paying the bill...it's not cheap...there wasn't even the obligatory ouzo...we were there for the last time today...there are good alternatives in Bacchus Two Hemmingen...

We came here on a recommendation and it was worth it - nice service and good food.

The food was great, but everything seemed a bit stressful and hectic. It could be that it was just because it was a Saturday evening and other days are better. But at least when I was there, it wasn't quiet and comfortable.

Wir kommen seit 20 Jahren regelmäßig zum Essen ins Bacchus in Arnum. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und machen ihre Arbeit sehr gut und aufmerksam so das man sich von Anfang bis zum Schluss sehr wohl fühlt. Es ist sehr familiär und gemütlich modern. Das Essen ist wirklich herausragend sehr lecker. Ich habe dort schon viele verschiedene Gerichte gegessen welche immer sehr frisch und schmackhaft sind. Ganz toll finde ich die Speisekarte da sie sowohl traditionelle als auch moderne Gerichte beinhaltet. Es gibt sogar vom Chef kreierte vegane und vegetarische Speisen, was ich gut finde weil jeder was leckeres zu essen findet. Eigentlich esse ich für mein Leben gerne Fleisch aber als ich das erste Mal den Wellness Salat nach Zypern Art gegessen habe muss ich ihn immer wieder essen da schon allein das Dressing süchtig macht 😊 Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei allen Mitarbeitern und freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen

Never, ever again. I don't know what kind of meat it was, but I've never eaten anything so disgusting. I could have broken. Meat was cold, not cooked through and without seasoning. I'm not picky, but that was bahhhhh. The basement didn't really care why my plate was still full, but he didn't have to pack the shit up for me either. The store is damn expensive. Not a nice atmosphere. I think there is a new owner in there.

Hiermit gebe ich zum ersten Mal eine Bewertung ab bezüglich des essen gehen in Hannover wobei ich eher wenig davon halte eine Bewertung über irgendwas abzugeben. Das griechische Restaurant Bacchus in Hemmingen/Arnum ist mit Abstand der beste Grieche in der Stadt, geführtes Familienunternehmen in denke ich Mal Dritter Generation . Seit 2011 gehen wir Standardmäßig nur zu Bacchus da es ein sehr gemütlich gestaltetes Ambiente aufweist. Preise sind echt noch akzeptabel,gerade angesichts der üppigen Portionen. Einfach nur sein Geld wert! Schaut vorbei & genießt.

Lieferung laut Webseite ab 12 Uhr. Um 12:20 Uhr bestellt...gegen 14 Uhr mal nachgefragt ob das Essen noch kommt. Da hieß es dann es dauert noch bestimmt 30 min. Geht gar nicht !

The parking options directly at the restaurant were exhausted early on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, this was also the most expensive Greek restaurant we have been to so far. Another visit on a Friday evening: The tight time of 1 1/2 hours until the table has to be cleared for the next guest can be perceived as a kind of canteen check-in. Two large groups came with us, so everything took a while. We hadn't finished eating long ago. After 1 1/4 hours the waiter was already at the table.... So, if you want to sit comfortably, enjoy time together in peace and quiet, it might be better to look for another restaurant. Thank you for your apology. But that doesn't change the messed up evening. The waitress had already asked if we still needed the cards, and my friend hadn't even taken off her jacket yet. And when we were pointed out that it was late (!), I hadn't even finished my first drink, a non-alcoholic beer, my friend hadn't even finished her Coke Zero and we paid €50 for two people. So earning money alone is not enough. We are/were regular customers of yours. Of course, I'll go somewhere else with friends on the weekend in the future where I don't have a stopwatch breathing down my neck (something like that is impossible). I would be happy if you could get the problem under control.

Bester Grieche weit und breit. Tolles Essen tolle Leute alle sind zufrieden.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen, der Salat zum Gericht war noch nicht ganz aufgegessen da kam schon das Hauptgericht. Ganz große Portion Gyros mit Zazziki und Pommes. Die Pommes gingen extra zum Gericht. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und immer guter Service. Einzig zum Abschluss wurde der Service etwas vermisst, das Lokal war fast voll. Für zwei Personen habe ich 50,50 Euro mit Getränken bezahlt. Der Preis ist für die Größe der Portion gerechtfertigt in 2025.

If you want to avoid meat or live a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, you will find modern, creative cuisine here that leaves nothing to be desired. The chef develops the dishes with so much dedication that the meat-free options are simply fantastic - absolutely not a compromise, but a real enrichment! Even the little details make the difference: the menu is designed with a lot of love and the website/app is simply on point! We love the warm baguette with the excellent olive oil as a greeting from the kitchen and are here regularly. We can only recommend it to anyone who wants great Greek cuisine, interpreted in a modern way. Simply great! Be sure to try the homemade zucchini medallions and the vegan Suzukis!

Lecker, wie immer. Das Hähnchen mit Gemüse in Metaxasauce ist super gut. Aber auch die Grillteller sind sehr gut. Immer wieder habe ich Schwierigkeiten mich für meine Bestellung zu entscheiden.

Es passte alles .Unserer Meinung gibt es im Umkreis von 40 km kein besseres Restaurant Wir kommen seit ca 25 Jahren immer wieder und empfehlen es allen Bekannten.

Basically the food is absolutely fine and appropriate for the price, I would come back for that. Unfortunately, the impression was greatly spoiled because the table was not set for our birthday party and only a basket of cutlery was placed on the table. In addition, they didn't even ask if anyone else would like to drink something. The worst thing, however, was that there were fruit flies flying all over the table, some of which landed on the food and drinks. A lack of a “thank you” for a tip is tolerable, but it fits the impression. You'll quickly lose your appetite!

A very tasty restaurant with tradition. This restaurant has been around for a long time and the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff are great. The other day we picked something up and it was ready very quickly, there was a free ouzo and even freshly sliced ​​bread when we picked it up. The dishes were packed in bags separately from the salad. Finally someone remembers that salad doesn't have to sit over piping hot food. The paper bags and the sealing of the dishes were also well received by us. As always, we would love to come back!

Leider war unsere Reservierung übersehen worden und uns konnte nur ein nicht so optimaler Platz angeboten werden. Aber der Chef hat vorbildlich reagiert, sich entschuldigt und uns dafür noch ein paar Dinge auf's Haus serviert - perfekt, besser geht es nicht. Das Essen ist ausnahmslos sehr lecker und von sehr guter Qualität.. Meine Gemüsepfanne hat sehr knackiges, frisches Gemüse, die Soße ist sehr lecker und dazu die tollen Bandnudeln🤤Auch das Sxhweinefiletpfännchen ist super und das Filet noch zart und saftig, wenn das Gericht kochend heiß serviert wird - perfekt 👍 Wir empfehlen das Bacchus sehr gern weiter.

Das Essen war wieder sehr gut , leider ist es im Lokal sehr laut wenn alle Tische besetzt sind . Das Besteck wurde nicht anständig hingelegt , Servietten gab es erst auf nachfragen und Getränke wurden nur hingestellt aber nicht eingegossen . Für die Lautstärke und nicht immer aufmerksame Bedienung gibt es Punktabzug .

There were two of us there in the evening and we had specially reserved a table. When we arrived we were first asked to sit down because our table was probably not free yet. After we waited for over 10 minutes, other guests who came in and were also in pairs were immediately seated while we still had to wait. When we were finally allowed to sit down at our table after another 10 minutes, the waiting continued. The drinks only came after we had finished the starter and, unlike all the other guests, the tzatziki was served to us without bread, which we then had to ask for. For the bill we had to ask the gentlemen twice if they could bring it to us. Although the food was good, the service left a lot to be desired. However, it should be mentioned that we were served by the two gentlemen. The waitress in the next room seemed to have a different approach to the guests.

Vielleicht ist das einzige Problemchen, dass der Kellner nicht zu hektisch sein sollte und die Bestellung erst bis zum Ende anhören müsste. Gestern war das Restaurant aber auch sehr voll, daher wohl die Hektik. Nicht schlimm, wir kommen seit Jahrzehnten immer wieder gerne! 🙏🌹😘
