Highly recommended! :-) The well-made website alone stands out from the crowd. The food offering is contemporary - finally a Greek restaurant with creative vegan options. Would like more of it! Food and service great; Atmosphere a bit loud, but hardly avoidable on a Saturday evening. We'll definitely come back again! :-)

For me the best Greek in our region, nice and courteous staff. The price/performance ratio is right. Tasteful / children's menu available.

There were two of us there in the evening and we had specially reserved a table. When we arrived we were first asked to sit down because our table was probably not free yet. After we waited for over 10 minutes, other guests who came in and were also in pairs were immediately seated while we still had to wait. When we were finally allowed to sit down at our table after another 10 minutes, the waiting continued. The drinks only came after we had finished the starter and, unlike all the other guests, the tzatziki was served to us without bread, which we then had to ask for. For the bill we had to ask the gentlemen twice if they could bring it to us. Although the food was good, the service left a lot to be desired. However, it should be mentioned that we were served by the two gentlemen. The waitress in the next room seemed to have a different approach to the guests.

Deliciously prepared dishes with very well seasoned sauces. The Cretan potatoes are recommended, for example, as are the fish dishes. On YouTube you can take a look into the kitchen and watch the chef making the special delicacies. There is space at the table, but less between the tables. There is a covered outdoor area. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick.

Super delicious food, the gyros is a specialty, a treat for gyros lovers. The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly.

Solid Greek restaurant with 80s chic. What is particularly noteworthy is that there is a great range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I had a vegetarian Suzuki with Metaxa sauce and gratinated cheese. Delicious.

Vielleicht ist das einzige Problemchen, dass der Kellner nicht zu hektisch sein sollte und die Bestellung erst bis zum Ende anhören müsste. Gestern war das Restaurant aber auch sehr voll, daher wohl die Hektik. Nicht schlimm, wir kommen seit Jahrzehnten immer wieder gerne! 🙏🌹😘

Our second visit to “Bacchus” was rather disappointing. The waiter scolded the kitchen energetically in Greek and could be heard throughout the restaurant. The operation and response are somewhat average, tailored to the bare essentials. Shrimp as a starter seemed like frozen products that had barely received enough heat - halfway breaded on the outside, just on the verge of being cooked on the inside. The cocktail sauce had some thick, slightly dried edges. When asked that the taste wasn't that good, all you hear is, "The shrimp are just like that." Hmmm… The Bifteki is okay, but strikes a weird balance between being too dry and losing fat. Was that briefly fried again? I don't know it. The tomato rice with it crunches a bit, so it's just about cooked through. Although it wasn't that busy on a Sunday afternoon, the feeling of a bit of careless food remains. Compared to some other Greek restaurants, “Bacchus 1” falls somewhere in the middle for us, both in terms of taste and ambience. So you don't really need another visit.

I had the small grill plate and my sister had the beef liver. The food was super tasty, the meat was really tender, the rice and sauce were very well seasoned. The small salad beforehand was plentiful and very good. We'll definitely be back.

Waited a long time for drinks and orders. There is only 1 waiter inside and outside served. The portions were small and not even my wife was full. I had 2 vouchers, 1x 125.00 and one for 50.00. I received each voucher from a different person but they only accepted one because something was apparently missing, so I couldn't redeem a voucher for €50. Because of the voucher, the waiter was probably a little angry, so we didn't even get a farewell ouzo. Conclusion: once and not again!!!!!

Nicht für spontane Entscheidungen! Über das buchungsportal wurde der Tisch angeboten! Gang zu den Toiletten spiegelglatt!

wir waren dieses Jahr an Silvester das erste mal dort und seitdem gibt es für uns kein anderes griechisches Restaurant mehr. Es schmeckt einfach sensationell und auch der Service ist einfach toll....

Uns hat es gut geschmeckt. Wir empfehlen die Pfännchen, die es auch vegetarisch gibt. Auch vegane Speisen sind hier im Angebot. Man kann den üblichen Beilagensalat gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis austauschen gegen einen Spezialsalat - mir hat er sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service gibt sich alle Mühe, auch wenn es sehr voll ist, und ist immer sehr nett und freundlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Das Gyros und das Schweinefilet waren auf den Punkt und sehr saftig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, sehr schnell und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein toller Abend. Tisch-Reservierung ist dringend empfohlen.

Addendum 2024: The owner asked us via lawyer to take back this bad review. We are told that this is a lie and that we were never there. Luckily we paid with EC and the receipt was in the account. This way of dealing with critical guests now only gets one star, less is not possible.

We reserved a table outside days in advance for Mother's Day. We were then informed on site that other guests had simply sat down at our table and were eating their food there. Despite other free tables outside, we weren't allowed to take one as a replacement. What a shame! The only offer that was made was for the three of us to sit at a small table for two in the middle of the aisle. However, this was only possible for us because other guests offered their remaining table. But we rejected that because we didn't want to sit in the main service area! As an information for anyone interested: Apparently you can just sit at a reserved table and the waiters will still serve you.

Leckere Speisen und gute Auswahl. Reservierung ist sinnvoll, da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist.

Wir hatten die Dorade und einen Grillteller. Beides war sehr lecker, die Dorade war frisch, Fleisch beim Grillteller auf den Punkt gegrillt. Kleine Anmerkung: Das Essen hätte ein wenig besser dekoriert sein können. Der Spezialsalat der zur Dorade serviert wurde war mal wirklich was Besonderes, hatte ich so in der Form noch nicht gehabt. Obwohl fast jeder Platz belegt war, waren die Kellner immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier also auch 5 Sterne. Das Ambiente könnte noch gemütlicher sein, so wie man es vom Griechen kennt. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. :)

We have been regular customers since 1985. Unfortunately, we found that the taste and quality have declined significantly recently. When ordering today: The “Metaxa” sauce was more like “M...”. And the salad probably hasn't been refrigerated since it was served. Mushrooms are also becoming fewer and fewer (but that may be due to our times, right now), so I don't want to complain. About delivery services, about punctual. The table wasn't even set yet. Family was surprised. If it had still tasted good, it would have been the perfect Easter snack. If the price-performance ratio is right again, we will order more often again.

Meine Frau und ich haben den Abend sehr genossen. Die verschiedenen Vorspeisen sowie die leckeren Hauptgerichte a la carte waren optisch super, genauso wie geschmacklich. Das Personal hat eine super Bedienung geleistet. Das war echt ein toller Abend. Immer wieder gern!

I was invited within the family, so 4 eaters. I don't remember exactly, it was probably around the beginning of 2007: 1. Everything tasted absolutely delicious! 2 The (large) table was almost overflowing and we still took some things with us, even though everyone only had a normal portion. 3. My starter was the baked mushrooms, really huge things and enough for me and my friend because the baking dish was quite large. 4. The bread was also amazing, baked in the oven! We all had typical dishes, platters, skewers, lamb, suflaki etc. Conclusion: EVERYTHING was super tasty and very good meat, tender and also well seasoned! The ambience: is also great! Unfortunately I can't remember any more details, but if I'm in the area again, I'll come back!

We stopped by without a reservation and were greeted warmly and allowed to choose a table. Later the restaurant filled up. We felt comfortable from the start and were served courteously. We chose a starter (mezes was delicious) and two main courses. It was a good portion and tasted delicious. At the end there was an obligatory ouzo for everyone. It's strange that the 0.4 liter cola is significantly more expensive (€4.40) than the beer (€3.60). Here the cola price should be adjusted accordingly. We'd love to come back.

Excellent food, very tasty. Everything tastes good here. The service is friendly and takes care of the guests' needs. The seats are a bit tight. But what is probably the same everywhere today. Tastiest Metaxa sauce ever. Reservations are recommended.

Hello, we just ordered Giros with fries and a Tigany Giros. Unfortunately, the fries were completely submerged in the tzatziki and a red sauce, so they were of course completely soggy. The Tigany Giros was far too salty, we cooked neutral rice with it so that it was somewhat edible. I would have given it 2.5 stars because it was very unsatisfactory and too expensive for the price/performance ratio.
