Breakfast is a real highlight in Erfurt! From cheese to olives, simit, fruit, dips to scrambled eggs, everything is there and you don't find it that often in the city :)

We went to Ba Badiyel for breakfast and loved it! The service is super friendly and the food is to die for. We had breakfast for 2 and can absolutely recommend it.

Simply put, awesome! Food tasted great. the waitress was overly nice! I can only recommend it if you're in the mood for good food! 🍽️

I can only recommend the reader to visit the restaurant in the heart of Erfurt. We were there for breakfast today and chose the palace breakfast for 2. We were totally thrilled! The selection was very diverse. All dishes, whether fruit, vegetables or cold cuts, were fresh and simply delicious. Our individual wishes were also taken into account. The price-performance ratio was also great. We got so full that we didn't need anything until dinner. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. For us the best breakfast offer in the area. And best of all: our dog was also very welcome. We'll definitely be back 😍🐶

Great food with perfectly grilled, high quality meat! I can highly recommend this place for a nice evening with friends, with vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes to share. If you eat meat, you are in for a treat, with wonderful New Zealand beef and the delicious lamb chops! Don't miss the Turkish wine 🍷 or close your meal with a Raki! Also, the service is very kind and attentive. We are always happy to spend an evening at Ba Badiyel.

Delicious food, I highly recommend the eggplant cream, the yogurt and the lamb fillet with dates and walnuts... exquisite! The Turkish tea was perfect. The service is fast and very friendly, the place is very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely return.

The restaurant is well located and we became aware of it through positive reviews. The table for 4 was somehow in the draft and wasn't particularly comfortable. The service was friendly and on the ball. That fits. The starters were delicious and tasty. The baked champions are mega. The main courses are also very good, but the portions are too small for the prices. The food could also be served more beautifully.

We were there with 15 people and the food came together in 30 minutes so everyone could start at the same time. Service super nice. The food was also really tasty, but it could have been prepared a little more lovingly. Recommendation guaranteed.

We got the last free table on a Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. So reservation is recommended. We ate very tasty food and received very friendly service. I would definitely visit this restaurant again and recommend it!

Since we are in Turkey very often and know the local food, we wanted to try Turkish cuisine here at home. The food was also good but a bit overpriced in my opinion. The starters were very good. The homemade lemon mint lemonade was very refreshing and tasty but there were too many ice cubes. The ambience was very disappointing. Not only did it seem cold, it was cold. The warm oriental flair was totally missing, there were no rakı bottles on display, but there was plenty of wine. That certain something with just a few decorative objects or a rakı to greet/farewell would give the whole thing a kick. That's why I only give it 3/5 points.

Delicious typical Turkish dishes, unfortunately presented too carelessly and too expensive... The restaurant wasn't really full, but the waitresses were still slightly stressed, we missed the typical smile! The ambience is cold, not really orientally warm or cozy! We love Turkey and its hospitality, unfortunately we missed that feeling here in the restaurant! The menu is small but ok, you have to pay dearly for free starters that are typical of the country! Instead of flatbread from the industrial bakery, you could offer home-baked pide. The restaurant lacks a fine touch, some “döner kebab shops” are better equipped… Good luck, I'm a tough, critical person but also honest with my opinions.

Very tasty very accommodating!!!

Unfortunately the food wasn't as expected. The starter platter for 2 people was served without a green leaf and without a yoghurt dip. As a result, the entire meal was extremely dry and boring. We were very disappointed. Despite asking for a dip or something similar, we were only offered a small salad for an additional charge. Well, I know Turkish food differently. Too bad, not recommended and no repetition necessary.

Definitely a recommendation for fine, upscale cuisine! Super delicious food, with friendly service and advice. We had the appetizer platter with a delicious selection of dips. The drinks and main courses, especially grilled dishes, are also highly recommended.

Simply fantastic! The food was aromatic, plentiful and full of finesse. Lamb has never tasted so tender. A special highlight was the shared appetizer plate, both hot and cold. And the staff was courteous and warm at all times. A win for Erfurt!

On a business trip we discovered this fine restaurant online and booked a table - the manager was more than accommodating and helpful - there was a problem with the reserved table and we were called again to confirm that it was the same definitely works. The atmosphere is nice, all the staff are more than friendly. The food: incredibly tasty and very attractively served. The finest grilled vegetables, the greatest dips, a very fine salad. I'm really excited. I'm a regular visitor to Erfurt and it certainly wasn't our last visit here.

We came across the restaurant while looking for a location in Erfurt that would be suitable for our company to hold a Christmas party or for business meetings. Within walking distance of our company, professional, attentive and very courteous service, combined with super authentic Turkish cuisine. The menu is very balanced, so that vegetarians can also find what they are looking for. Freshly cooked and piquantly seasoned, so that memories of the last visit to Turkey are brought back. I come from the Rhineland and actually only knew Turkish snack bars. Since my first visit in the summer of 2023, I have been in love with Turkish cuisine and this restaurant. Now I was back in Erfurt and in my favorite Erfurt restaurant. The people who work here are simply charming and create a feel-good atmosphere. It's clear that the food is delicious.

Without wanting to exaggerate, the food was fabulous. Above all, we liked the advice and if we travel through Erfurt again, we will definitely visit again!

Turkish restaurant with tasty food and friendly service. The staff made us feel well taken care of from the moment we walked in. The food, however, was a bit hit and miss. The vegetarian main dish of grilled, pureed aubergines with a medley of well-seasoned vegetables and fresh yoghurt sauce was divine. The combination of smoky, slightly spicy, and acidic flavors was delightful, and we couldn't resist wiping the plate clean with the warm, fluffy bread. The hummus was smooth and earthy, and the kibbeh were juicy and fried to perfection. However, the baba ganoush was a bit of a letdown as it was served too cold and lacked any depth of flavor. Additionally, it was disappointing that they had run out of all their desserts except for baklava, which sadly was dry and stale. While the food was somewhat hit or miss, the service more than made up for it. The main critique would be the pricing. At ~20€ for a vegetable main and 8€ for just two pieces of kibbeh, the portions didn’t quite match the price point. Come here for a friendly service and some standout dishes, but be prepared for a mixed food experience and higher prices.

Today we had a relatively spontaneous meal at Bâ Badiyel, and luckily we still got a seat. Food/drinks came quickly. The waitresses were nice and friendly, with a smile on their faces. The food impressed us, good quality, deliciously prepared. I don't know of a comparable restaurant with Turkish dishes in Erfurt. I would say the prices are in the upper range. But it's not intimidating, it's appropriate. Another note as a mom: we had our baby (11m old) with us. When we sat down we were immediately asked if we needed a high chair (very attentive). There is an armchair in front of the toilets where you can sit down in peace and breastfeed. If you need it, you should have a cloth or something similar to cover yourself with. I didn't see a changing table, but I wasn't looking for one either, maybe it exists. The waitresses were up for a joke with the baby. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

Absolutely worth a visit! We wanted to try something new and decided to try Bâ Badiyel today and are absolutely thrilled. The service was magical, friendly and knew what food tasted like and her recommendation was exactly the right choice. The food was delicious. The food was really delicious and authentic Turkish. We were impressed by the starters, which were carelessly prepared but delicious. There is certainly a lot of manual work involved. And yet we were amazed at the quite high prices, especially for the main courses. For around 27 euros you would expect a little more sophistication and attention to detail. Overall, the evening unfortunately disappointed us due to the circumstances. We were seated in the next room, even though we had requested an outdoor table when making our reservation. The main courses were served even though we hadn't finished the starters yet. Except for serving and one other time, we didn't see the service staff in 3.5 hours. At some point they admitted that they had forgotten us. Unfortunately, the very good food does not manage to put the experiences with the service and the high prices in a better light. In any case, we can only recommend Ba Badiyel to a limited extent.

The restaurant makes a great impression, the rooms and the beer garden are very cozy and stylish. The staff is very friendly and committed, the atmosphere is familiar and they give very good advice on the food. The food itself is more than good, and traditional Turkish cuisine is particularly recommended. Waiting times for drinks and food are short and unnecessary customers are not accepted just to fill the store. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and more than recommended if you want to enjoy cuisine other than German!

We love it, we have been visiting the restaurant since the beginning and are simply thrilled. We also chose the venue for our wedding and were overwhelmed. Both inside and outside, there is always a contact person in sight and you don't have to wait long, even if it is very busy. A reservation for the weekend is essential, but during the week you can also be lucky and spontaneously grab a spot. Even with a baby or toddler you are very welcome ♡

Very nice restaurant and a nice garden to relax outside. The map is quite clear, which may make it easier for you to decide what you want to take. The food was good but there were hardly any vegetables or salad with the meat dish and at €22 or €23 the price was quite intense. Food could definitely be more intensely seasoned, by that I don't mean salt, but when I go out to eat abroad I don't expect it to taste like German food.
