I was very skeptical about the restaurant, as I had eaten Indian food in Berlin two weeks earlier (I was disappointed because the food was bland). But here, I had one taste orgasm after another; here you can taste "Indian" cuisine.

The freshness and texture were fantastic.

My boyfriend and I sat down at a table and looked at the menu. Then I asked the receptionist if they offered pizza. His expression was clearly annoyed, and he answered rudely with "No." This behavior was very unpleasant and unprofessional. We left the restaurant without ordering anything. I hope that management will place more emphasis on treating guests with respect and courtesy in the future.

We received a very friendly and warm welcome. Since we couldn't decide on the menu, we received very good and competent advice. The food was delicious. The restaurant has a wonderful and beautiful ambiance.

There are vegan dishes to choose from, several main courses to choose from, and even a vegan dessert ☺️ Really delicious rice pudding and completely different from the German version. I personally felt a few starters were missing in the vegan version, which could be improved. Otherwise, I'd gladly go back 🫶

My visit to the restaurant was a truly wonderful experience overall. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the cozy atmosphere – everything was clean, stylishly decorated, and I immediately felt welcome. The service was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. You could tell that the food here is made with passion. I chose the Butter Chicken, a dish I particularly enjoy. The preparation was excellent: the meat was tender and juicy, the sauce creamy, spicy, and wonderfully balanced in flavor. You could tell that high-quality ingredients were used and the chef knows their craft. I particularly liked how perfectly the spices were combined – not too spicy, but still aromatic and authentic. One small criticism: The meat portion could have been a bit larger. However, everything tasted perfect, and the dish was beautifully presented. The side dishes were also fresh and perfectly complemented the main course. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, where almost everything was just right – from the atmosphere to the service to the food. I will definitely come back and can recommend the restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food and friendly service.

We visited Ayana for the first time on Sunday, and the wonderful aroma of spices immediately filled the air. 👍👍👍 A very pleasant atmosphere, extremely friendly and attentive staff, plenty of space for my mother's wheelchair, fair prices, and fantastic, lovingly prepared food. We especially recommend the tandoori specialties. We'll definitely be back. 👍👍👍

I find the food very tasty; the portions are very generous, so you're really full and have a nutritious meal. The price/performance ratio is great. I've never eaten Indian food before and I'm pleasantly surprised. The best thing is the curry sauce, which is served separately with the meal. I highly recommend it.

I was thrilled with my visit to Ayana! From the moment you enter, you're greeted by the wonderful aromas and warm atmosphere. I particularly want to highlight the butter chicken and the crispy naan breads, which were an absolute highlight. The vegetarian dishes are also very varied and lovingly prepared. The portions are generous, the prices are absolutely fair, and the quality is excellent. You can tell that the food is cooked with love. I'll definitely be back :)

We've been going to Ayana for a while now with great anticipation, so the waiters already recognize us. :D Eating and drinking there is always worth it. From drinks to dessert, everything tastes incredibly delicious. It tastes very authentic, the portion sizes are more than generous, and the seasoning is simply exceptional. If you can't stand spicy food, you're still in good hands there. Even as a vegetarian or vegan, there's a wide selection of dishes. My personal goal is to try all the vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu to find the best. 😁 The service is great, the waiters are incredibly friendly and attentive. I personally get overwhelmed quickly by noisy environments, especially in restaurants, but I find the distribution of guests and the music so well-chosen that it's easy for me to bear. Food was quite bland for an Indian restaurant. Staff were very friendly, but forgetful.

The restaurant looks good, the staff are friendly, but the food is unbelievable for the price. 1. At these prices, I'd normally get a small snack at a good Indian restaurant to start with, say, lentil bread and 2-3 sauces, and then a small dessert or something similar on the house (which is also rewarded with a tip, of course). 2. The meat portion was reasonable for the price, and the rice was also decent, but the quality was a disaster. The pieces of meat were large, which I'm definitely not a fan of, as they tend to contain something disgusting. And that was exactly the case: I had two pieces of meat (chicken breast), where there was a bit of a bite, and maybe some of you know what that means: it had such a disgusting, intense chicken flavor. Normally, things like that are cut out and taken care of, but when the pieces are that big, it's easier to overlook. It made me feel like vomiting for a moment. It was cheeky to offer me a 0.5 liter glass of mango lassi for that price, and it wasn't nice and creamy, but rather runny like juice. Cheese naan is a no-brainer; the cheese is like cottage cheese, so chunky. The regular naan was almost as crispy as chips and not like bread it should have been. The accompanying sauce was rather runny and weak in flavor, and there was far too little sauce, but after I asked for it, they improved it and brought more. So, to deliver this for €20.50 is okay. I'm a real fan of Indian cuisine and have tried a relatively large number of Indian restaurants, but this one doesn't really belong in the top 10 in terms of taste. 3. When I got home, I had diarrhea; I didn't eat anything else that day except at that restaurant. Oh well, too bad.

The food is very good and the different dishes are seasoned differently. The service is friendly and quick. The rooms are nicely designed. Highly recommended!

Indian cuisine was new to me, but it tasted good. There's a lot of variety on the menu, so I'll be back again.

Great atmosphere and the food is very tasty and, above all, hot, both in the restaurant and when you pick it up. With a large group and if it is full overall, you can take some time. The pickup schedule is always perfect and I've never had to wait for my food. The staff is extremely friendly and always tries to look after all guests. We always enjoy going here, reserving a table makes perfect sense. Price-performance also suits us. The wine recommendation also always rounded off our meal. Keep it up!

It was our first time in this restaurant and we didn't know Indian cuisine at all. We were pleasantly surprised, everything tasted delicious. Above all, we noticed that the Indian dishes all seem to have a basic level of spiciness, tasty but taking some getting used to. The restaurant was very crowded and therefore the noise level was very high. The service staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, we got the impression that the service was pretty headless and didn't really work in a structured way. All in all, it was a really nice evening.

I visited the restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Completely right. The food is amazing! The price is rather medium-high at just under €140 for 3 people, but after 3 courses each plus cocktails. We were all very satisfied in the end. We'll definitely come back again!

We ate at the Ayana restaurant today based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Although the restaurant was very busy, we were warmly welcomed at the door and escorted to our table. We had never eaten Indian food before and were therefore very careful with our choice of food. We had ordered mild and the food was mild but very tasty, the other levels of spiciness that were ordered at our table were also just right and delicious. We all received our food at the same time (this is not always the case with a table of ten people) and we Everyone was thrilled. The cocktails are also impressive. The service throughout the entire evening was excellent. We were certainly not here for the last time.

Without exception 5 stars! The welcome was very warm and the allocation of the table, despite reservations, had a personal touch! The ambience is very appealing and not loud despite the good attendance! Everyone seemed to have their own place in the team. The processes followed pleasantly fluently with a pronounced politeness. The selection of dishes is not exaggerated and leaves nothing to be desired! The food came without a long wait and the dishes were lovingly and traditionally prepared. We were able to enjoy the excellent quality of the food, especially the speciality, the lamb! We'll definitely be back!!!

Damn delicious food, can especially recommend the chickpea curry and naan bread. You can always order rice for free if there is not enough. Curry cannot get cold either because it is constantly heated in a small pot using a tea light. You have to budget €20-30 per person, but this experience is worth it. Also nice waiters and nice atmosphere. A real gem in manageable Erkelenz.

I was greeted by a very unfriendly man and told me that I had to leave the restaurant despite it being within opening hours. He didn't want to answer further questions and told me to leave the restaurant.
