Without exception 5 stars! The welcome was very warm and the allocation of the table, despite reservations, had a personal touch! The ambience is very appealing and not loud despite the good attendance! Everyone seemed to have their own place in the team. The processes followed pleasantly fluently with a pronounced politeness. The selection of dishes is not exaggerated and leaves nothing to be desired! The food came without a long wait and the dishes were lovingly and traditionally prepared. We were able to enjoy the excellent quality of the food, especially the speciality, the lamb! We'll definitely be back!!!

Damn delicious food, can especially recommend the chickpea curry and naan bread. You can always order rice for free if there is not enough. Curry cannot get cold either because it is constantly heated in a small pot using a tea light. You have to budget €20-30 per person, but this experience is worth it. Also nice waiters and nice atmosphere. A real gem in manageable Erkelenz.

Delicious food but relatively expensive

I was greeted by a very unfriendly man and told me that I had to leave the restaurant despite it being within opening hours. He didn't want to answer further questions and told me to leave the restaurant.

We went to this Indian restaurant for the first time with friends. Have eaten Indian food several times in other cities. Ayana-Erkelenz “trumps” all the Indian restaurants we have visited so far 👍 The food is top class and also very attractively prepared (after all, the eye eats too 😉) Every guest will find what they are looking for in the relatively large menu 👍 and the price-performance ratio is very good 👍 The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful 👌 We would love to come back soon 👍

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the positive reviews from Google. After we waited half an hour to receive the menu, it took 1 hour to prepare the starter and 2 hours for the main course. Everything was ordered at the same time because we were already totally frustrated that we had to wait so long for the card. The waiters walked around the restaurant with blinders on, when our drinks were empty (due to the horrific wait for the food) reordering was a challenge in itself. Neither waving nor other gestures were noticed and even a direct address was ignored by the waiter. The food that finally came after 2 hours was even the wrong one for one person and the portion size was absolutely subpar. None of us were even remotely full and the taste was “okay” at best. The €190 bill for 5 people topped it all off. This will definitely be the only visit to the restaurant. At least you could spend the evening warmly complaining about the service with the people sitting next to you, we weren't alone with our problems.

We were there for the first time yesterday, among us neighbors (friends), because we wanted to try something special and unknown. Our expectations were exceeded. Great ambience, great food from starters to dessert. Great staff, super friendly, humorous (greetings to the man the women trust ;) :) we were thrilled and will definitely come again. I drove from Düsseldorf to Erkelenz specifically to be able to eat with friends at this fantastic Indian restaurant. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly, the food was well prepared and tasted exactly how I wanted it. Very high quality authentic Indian cuisine. My Indian friends are also absolutely thrilled with the Ayana. I have never found such a good Indian restaurant in Düsseldorf.

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und professionell, das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet (was man auf dem Foto hier nicht mal im Ansatz erkennt) , das Essen ist SEHR gut ...aber ... ich finde es NICHT wirklich typisch indisch. Es ist eine europäisch entschärfte Küche ... Was Granaten-leckere ist, ist das Naan-Brot, vor allem das mit Knoblauch. Den einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die "entschärfte" Variante ... und die gewisse Eintönigkeit von 4 Geschmacksvarianten, die auf alle Gerichte angewendet werden *lach*. Was aber wirklich nur auffällt, wenn man da (wie wir) relativ oft essen geht.

Ambiance is very nice, only a bit noisy due to the open design at Full House. But all in all a very good restaurant. Everything fits, I'll definitely come back.

Finally found a really good Indian restaurant. Food, staff and ambience perfect!

We were there for the first time today and absolutely loved it. From the starter to the dessert, our expectations were more than exceeded. I was actually speechless for a long time because of the quality of the food and the hospitality of the staff. We will definitely visit this restaurant more often because it is much more than just a “recommendation”. Many thanks to the innkeeper, his kitchen and his service staff.

We have been to Ayana a few times and have always been very happy with the food and service. The waiters were always very nice and helpful, and the food was always delicious. The portions are very generous! We can only recommend Ayana 😄

It was our first time there and we are not connoisseurs of Indian cuisine. We were given very nice advice so that we got good food that wasn't too spicy. First there were appetizers that were recommended to us and we were thrilled. The main courses continued to our satisfaction. Finally, a good espresso, served in nicely preheated cups. We will definitely come back and explore the Indian cuisine further.

We had dinner there. Reserved table was available immediately. We were always served quickly and our needs were addressed very attentively but not intrusively. Service was therefore very good. But the best is yet to come. The food!! It's just awesome. I had the Indian Grill Platter with lamb and chicken and ordered it “spicy”. That's how it was delivered. The normal citizen would probably have dropped dead. But I can tolerate it very spicy and I enjoyed it very much. The first bite threw me off a bit because I wasn't expecting it to be so spicy, but it was absolutely delicious. The samosa as a starter was also great and the cheese naan and the classic naan were very tasty. Summarized. YUMMY!!! 😀 I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation. When it comes to spiciness, you just have to be careful and express your wishes. But that's definitely not a problem. My wife's food was mild and also very tasty.

New restaurant in Erkelenz. Indian cuisine - something completely different. Communication with the service staff was a bit difficult. However, a “spicy” dish should be served “mild”. This was also promised when ordering. Unfortunately it was served spicy. Immediate exchange after the complaint! Perfect! All in all: good service and delicious food. Absolutely recommended, including a reservation.

Sehr gutes Restaurant, waren am 07.04.2024 dort. Schon bemerkenswert das dieses Restaurant an einen normalen Wochentag so gut besucht war. Aber das hat auch seinen Grund. Service 1A, Speisen, jeder sollte für sich entscheiden, welches Gericht er essen möchte. Meine positive Erfahrung, jeder zeit wieder. Bestellte Gerichte wie gewünscht, alles bestens.

There was relaxing music, nice waiters and comfortable chairs. The food was delicious and the homemade lime lemonade is highly recommended. The portions were good and you were more than full.

I had dinner at Ayana Indian Kitchen Restaurant this evening and it was fabulous. That was the first time I was able to try Indian cuisine and I was very impressed. From drinks to the main course and dessert the visit was a 10/10.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of eating at the "Ayana Indian Kitchen" in Erkelenz and I was thrilled. The highlight was definitely the biryani – one of the best I’ve eaten so far. The spices were perfectly balanced and the rice was to die for. The staff at Ayana was very friendly and attentive, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I also really liked the decor of the restaurant. It is stylishly and comfortably furnished, with an ambience that invites you to linger. In short, Ayana Indian Kitchen is an absolute must for all Indian cuisine lovers. I will gladly come again.

The menu offers a large selection of Indian dishes - both vegetarian and meat. The portions are big enough and the food is delicious. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and asks several times for drinks or requests. The rooms are very large, and even though the decoration tried to create coziness, there is still a bit of a lack of ambience.

Wir waren am Samstag dort und wurden freundlich im noch leeren Restaurant empfangen, das sich aber schnell füllte und als die ersten Vorspeisen kamen wurde deutlich warum. Die Speisen sind ansprechend angerichtet gewesen, geschmacklich haben sie unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Gut abgestimmte Gewürze, glänzende Soßen, angenehme Schärfenoten in der richtigen Dosis. Die Hauptspeisen haben den guten Eindruck noch gesteigert und waren alle, wir hatten scharfe Gerichte, milde Gerichte, sowie vegane Hauptspeisen, hervorragend. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre, dass die Soßen zu sämig waren, manchmal würde man sich diese auch stückiger wünschen und nicht so "durchpüriert". Die Getränkekarte kann sich sehen lassen, zu empfehlen ist der hausgemachte Eistee, sowie die hausgemachte Limonade, neben den klassischen Lassis in süß und salzig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, beantwortete Fragen und gab Empfehlungen. Wir waren mit 4 Kindern, darunter 2 Kleinkinder zu Gast, diese wurden aber ebenso herzlich empfangen und bedient wie die großen Kunden. Rund um war es eingelungener Abend und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Restaurant ist ansprechend eingerichtet und sauber. Bei Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist äußerst umfangreich, so dass man einigen Minuten benötigt, um eine Entscheidung zu treffen. Die Getränke kamen zügig, ebenso das bestellte Essen. Bei der Vorspeise (Hühnerfleischsuppe), die im Prinzip sehr schmackhaft war, handelte es sich leider um Formfleisch. Dieses Formfleisch fand sich dann auch in der Hauptspeise wieder, nämlich im Salat. Der Salat als solcher hätte in einer mittelmäßigen Pizzeria weder schlechter ausgeschaut, noch schlechter geschmeckt. Das Dressing sehr mayonnaise-ähnlich, das Huhn fest und fad, der Salat grob angerichtet. Die Gerichte meiner Begleitung zeugten von gleicher magerer Qualität. Das Naan hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Leider hat sich der Service nicht weiter bemüht, nachdem das Essen auf dem Tisch stand. Die Gläser blieben leer, niemand fragte beim Abräumen nach unserer Zufriedenheit. Dies hätten wir nämlich gerne genutzt, um unseren Eindruck persönlich zu vermitteln.

Wir hatten uns auf authentische indische Küche gefreut und wurden leider absolut enttäuscht. Die Suppe zur Vorspeise war noch lecker, aber dann ging es steil bergab. Das „Dressing“ auf dem Salat war Remoulade, das restliche Essen kaum gewürzt. Im Restaurant hingen Duftbäumchen, die man sonst nur an den Rückspiegel des Autos hängt. Der Service war ebenfalls bescheiden. Ein Mal und nie wieder. Super schade.

Duftbäumchen an den Wänden), das Fleisch war trocken, der Kohl verbrannt, die Kräuter haben sich verflüchtigt, die Kleidung roch noch am nächsten Tag nach Küchendunst. Wirklich sehr schade. In dieser Region hätte ich mir ein gutes indisches Restaurant sehr gewünscht.
