Extrem unfreundlicher Eigentümer 👎

Meine Frau hat vorhin dort Burger geholt, und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich selten etwas so Enttäuschendes gegessen habe. Schon beim ersten Bissen hatte ich das Gefühl, in ein Stück Kohle zu beißen. Das Fleisch sowie der Bacon waren nicht etwa knusprig, sondern schlichtweg hart und übergart. Von einem saftigen Burger, wie man ihn erwarten würde, war leider nichts zu merken. Geschmacklich war das Ganze dadurch kaum genießbar. Gerade bei einem so einfachen Gericht wie einem Burger sollte die Qualität des Fleisches und die Zubereitung stimmen – das war hier leider überhaupt nicht der Fall. Sehr schade, da ich mir deutlich mehr erhofft hatte. In diesem Zustand würde ich dort nicht noch einmal bestellen.

Super köstlich, üppige Portionen. Zu mehr als guten Preisen für die Qualität! Hier gibt es übrigens den allerbesten Cole Slaw der Welt! Mehr als empfehlenswert. Geht hin. Haut euch voll. Es lohnt sich! Update: Ich war heute mal wieder bei Axel’s Soul Kitchen und habe den Spicy Chicken Burger probiert – hat mich absolut überzeugt. Geschmacklich richtig rund, schön würzig abgestimmt und insgesamt einfach ein stimmiges Gesamtpaket. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und ein durchdachtes Konzept gelegt wird. Auch das Team vor Ort war super freundlich und entspannt, man fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben. Ich war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal da – klare Empfehlung!

Sehr schmackhaftes Pulled Pork und zudem eine Riesenportion. Die große Portion empfielt sich nur, wenn man sehr viel Hunger hat. Preis - Leistung sehr gut.

Der Burger und die Pommes waren super lecker. Preis Leistung passt auch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 👍🏼

Sehr gemütlich die Innenausstattung ist schön. Und das Essen die Portion war heftig, und sehr lecker. Und die Preise waren in ordnung.

Hier gibt es für mich nur ein Problem, ich kann gar nicht so viel essen wie ich gerne würden. Aber ich bleibe dran.

Regelmäßig da mit Besuch & die allerbesten Burger, die es weltweit gibt. Da kommt Niks auch aus den USA nicht mal ansatzweise heran.

Ich bewerte hier nur den Caterer. Für eine Feier mit 75 Personen hatten wir phantastisches Fingerfood. Großartige Qualität, tolle Zusammenstellung, sehr ansprechend serviert. Beratung und Kontakt im Vorfeld mega freundlich, zuverlässig, kompetent. Aufbau und Abbau pünktlich und einwandfrei. Ganz großes Danke und Lob und klare Empfehlung.

Vor zwei Jahren gab es die besten pommes und burger. Heute wird ein schwarz verbrannten burger mitgegeben und die pommes sind nicht durch. War wohl vorerst das letzte mal.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal da. Und es hat sich definitiv gelohnt! 😋😋😋 Super lecker Burger und Pommes! Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung! Ambiente zum dort essen ist auch gut. Es ist ein Imbiss mit wenig Tischen aber die sind geschmackvoll dekoriert mit gemütlichen Stühlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder um uns durch die Speisekarte zu testen!

Letzte Woche das erste mal vor Ort gewesen . Unglaublich sauber . Burger war mega lecker und die Pommes perfekt gesalzen . Personal super freundlich und auf zack 👌.Wir waren rundum zufrieden,kommen gerne wieder . 👍

Waren heute Abend dort und haben die Smash Burger bestellt. Die waren unglaublich lecker. Bisher keine besseren Burger gegessen, kann ich also nur unbedingt weiterempfehlen!

War heute in Effeld. Habe ein burger u pommes mit mayo. Burger nur mit Käse bestellt. Hat 8 Euro bezahlt u dann waren Zwiebeln drin. Ich hatte bestimmt 5 mal gesagt nur Käse. Die Brötchen war zu hart für meine Enkelin. Die pommes waren 4 Euro 50 mit mayo. Manche pommes waren komplett weich und so viel Salz hab ich noch nie erlebt. Für das preis war ich sehr enttäuscht. Habe am Samstag bei Soul Kitchen einen Zwischenstop gemacht und war sehr begeistert. Bin Leidenschaftlicher Burgerfan und bin mehr als Positiv überrascht. Preisleistung auch top nur zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten ein einzigartiges Buffet für 45 Personen. Es war für Jung und Alt genau das richtige dabei, die Beratung im Vorfeld war klasse und hilfreich! Das Essen kam pünktlich und war schnell aufgebaut. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Von der Menge her hätten wir auch noch mehr Personen satt bekommen. Insgesamt eine gelunge Erfahrung mit dem Buffet. Wir werden hier definitiv wieder anfragen bei unserer nächsten Feier!

Currywurst 5.-€ Pommes 4.-€ (Düsseldorf ? Nein, Wegberg!) 1/3 der Pommes waren Verschnitt,nicht Essbar,also weggeschmissen. Schade war mal gut und lecker. (Foodtruck Weihnachsmarkt)

Waren wegen einem Gespräch zum Catering da, sind direkt dageblieben zum Essen. War super lecker und alle sehr freundlich.

The burgers and schnitzels are second to none. Everything is freshly made. What's particularly noteworthy is the use of many regional products. The staff is always very friendly, despite the stress. Everything is very clean.

Always a success. Whether on-site or at events. I also used the food truck for my milestone birthday. It was a complete success for 70 people.

We can only review the food truck. Strange pricing. A whole bowl of fries costs 4 euros. Currywurst costs 4 euros. We had one bowl of fries and one bowl of currywurst with fries. Even though the fries each cost 4 euros, the fries with sausage only came with half the amount. Second drawback: The fries were really bad. Sticky and not crispy at all.

I booked the chip cart. From the booking to the bill, everything was perfect. Great communication, and every question was answered promptly. The two employees on the cart were in a good mood the entire time during my party and were happy to answer my guests' requests and questions. The food was absolutely delicious.

We had your food truck at our wedding. Our guests and we both enjoyed the food, the service was impeccable, and there were no long waits. And the ice cream machine was a hit with young and old alike. We highly recommend it.

Extremely good burgers and delicious sides. When I get a burger in Wegberg or the surrounding area, Axel's is my favorite place. I'd also say there's something for every taste. Whether I order for pickup or eat in on the fly, everything always went smoothly for me!

Update June 15. My wife's burger was half-raw. I returned the burger and complained. The burger chef rudely said, "So what, it's a bit pink." No, it was partially raw. The waitress saved the day, and I got a new burger. My Texas beef was unseasoned, and the bacon wasn't cooked, just a fat, wobbly mess (see picture). I was told that at Axel's, the bacon is only heated. Oh, I dreamed about the crunchy bacon of previous burgers. Sorry, folks, not like that. The taste is abysmal. At first, the quality was really top-notch. Now, however, defects are creeping in here and there. Sometimes the meat is a bit burnt, or the burger is so drenched in sauce that it's soggy throughout. Of course, it's often really busy, so you have to work under pressure. But please try to retrain.

A cool mobile food truck-style snack bar that you can rent for events. They offer typical fast food with French fries/snacks, burgers, and pulled pork. The quality and price are right. Everything tastes great. The fries are cooked perfectly.

The food truck was at our summer party today. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was very well prepared and fresh. I highly recommend it.

I ordered the Texas Beef and absolutely loved it! A great little burger shop right on the border between Germany and the Netherlands. The quality is top and the prices are unbeatable compared to what you get. Treat yourself to the Texas Beef and the Chili Cheese Fries – you won’t regret it!

We visited Soul Kitchen for the first time today and had reserved a table. You order at the counter, pay, and wait for the food to be ready, then pick it up yourself and go to your table. My wife had a Classic Burger. She was happy; it tasted good. I had a chili burger with bacon and a second patty, along with a small salad. I wasn't entirely satisfied. The patties were overcooked for me, a bit dry. I only tasted some of the spice; the chili could have been a bit more and better distributed. The coleslaw was a bit bland, I thought, which was a shame. We had a bottle of Radler and an Alt with the food. The price was fair overall, €28. We'll see, maybe we'll try it again. Then I'll order the patties medium 🙂

Nice ambience, nice service. Food was so-so. My burger was OK, my partner's didn't taste good. Unfortunately I had a long hair in my food, but that can't happen and it also spoiled my appetite. - Conclusion: expandable food.

Absolutely recommended! Price performance top! Handmade burgers like I've never had before. Great portions. It was our first visit and certainly not the last!

I would like to share my experience with Axels Soul Kitchen. Initially we were really impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service when picking up on site. Since we don't live around the corner, it's been all the more annoying that we've recently received more incorrect orders that we only noticed when we got home. Additionally, we noticed that the delicious burger buns that we initially loved were no longer being used. The chicken for the burgers also seems to have been changed. That's a real shame because we were initially very happy with the taste. Another point that disappointed us is the lack of response to our friendly criticism on Instagram. It would have been nice if this had been addressed. Overall, I hope that Axel's Soul Kitchen finds its way back to its original qualities, because the potential is definitely there!

Great burgers that don't have to be afraid of being compared to the best burger shops in Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, etc. A real enrichment for those of us who are underserved in culinary terms in Wegberg and the surrounding area. P.S. They also have a really great party service with classic dishes for (family) celebrations!

Got chicken burger today. It only takes us 4 minutes to get home. What can I say burger was cold and not cooked through. Now twice. Never again. When you say something, you don't react to it. So for that money I can buy better burgers elsewhere.

Burgers were great. Fries were well fried and not particularly tasty, not seasoned. Since there is no service in the snack system, there is no table service, unfortunately with the well-equipped and beautiful tables.

I moved from Düsseldorf and there are many burger restaurants there, but none that are as good and tasty as Axel's Soul Kitchen. Thank you for your soul food!

Today we finally managed to visit Axel's Soul Kitchen after several attempts. 1 hour before the end of the day we ordered our Tikki and pulled pork burger with fries and enjoyed them too. All I can say is, damn it was delicious. The food was quick, fresh, well done, tasty and very tasty. I liked fries more than in the Netherlands. And the meat was soooo tender, soooo juicy and well done. I can only recommend Axel's Kitchen.

Good food, prices are OK these days. We stop there often when we pass it halfway from our moped tour. See you again soon...

The stars say it all. I am absolutely satisfied. Finally someone in Wegberg who understands value for money. Quality is great. Portion sizes absolutely satisfactory. If you don't get enough there, you won't get enough anywhere in Wegberg. In comparison to others who have raised the prices and at the same time made the portions smaller so that you can eat an extra sandwich, this is not the case here. Hopefully you stay that way. Then I know where I can go in the future without having to cross the border.

For us, the best burgers in the area are here. The quality of the food is always very good and the staff is very friendly. This evening we attended the menu evening for the first time and were able to convince ourselves that Alex and his team can do more than just burgers 😉 Thanks to the matching wines from the Zöller-Lagas winery and our nice table neighbors, this was a really great and delicious evening.

I can imagine that you can eat really good burgers and other dishes there, but unfortunately we still had room for improvement. But better from the start: Klinkum is not far away and I like to support the local restaurants. So it makes sense to stop by Axel’s Soul Kitchen whenever you get the chance, whenever a burger joint like this opens up in a more rural area. So I got on the bike and cycled there. The shop is located directly on Klinkum's “main street” and was already busy when we arrived. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to sit outside. Placing the order took a while because, as I wrote, the store was well filled, although most of the guests were “pre-orderers” who had ordered their food by phone and were now just picking it up. I ordered a Texas Beef Burger with additional jalapeños, a Coleslaw, a Fries XL with Friessaus. You can get a beeper in the store and so we waited, supplied with drinks, until the beeper gave its signal. Accordingly, pick it up at the counter (no service), scurry through the people in front of the counter, pull the door open - and then hopefully eat delicious things at the table. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work, because... Bun > OK BBQ sauce > OK Bacon > unfortunately already too dry and sometimes hard Jalapeños > unfortunately not included Pattie > cooked too long for my taste, i.e. a bit crumbly and too dry Onion rings > OK, but the breading was missing in some places Coleslaw > OK, but could use a little more seasoning Fries XL with Fritessaus > I am a passionate lover of well-made French fries and one of the slightly crazy people who sometimes takes detours to Belgium or the Netherlands to eat the best fries there. Having said that, I can't really describe how bad I found the "fries", which apparently ended up on my plate fried not just twice, but several times. I ate a few not completely shriveled ones and left the rest. For those who don't know it, a Fritessaus is a reduced-fat variety of the classic mayonnaise and there are good and bad varieties here and there. The one used by Soul Kitchen can be classified in the lower midfield. Overall, a mixed dining experience, although I believe the reviewers here when they report positive experiences. The photos speak for themselves. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for us, which I'll put down to the form of the day and the crowds.

Brought food today on July 25th, 2024. Shish kebab with fries. Tasted good. Fries in the packaging were very clear and the shashlick had two whole pieces of meat. It was just a snack.
