Very, very tasty food, highly recommended.

Burgers were great. Fries were well fried and not particularly tasty, not seasoned. Since there is no service in the snack system, there is no table service, unfortunately with the well-equipped and beautiful tables.

I moved from Düsseldorf and there are many burger restaurants there, but none that are as good and tasty as Axel's Soul Kitchen. Thank you for your soul food!

Today we finally managed to visit Axel's Soul Kitchen after several attempts. 1 hour before the end of the day we ordered our Tikki and pulled pork burger with fries and enjoyed them too. All I can say is, damn it was delicious. The food was quick, fresh, well done, tasty and very tasty. I liked fries more than in the Netherlands. And the meat was soooo tender, soooo juicy and well done. I can only recommend Axel's Kitchen.

Good food, prices are OK these days. We stop there often when we pass it halfway from our moped tour. See you again soon...

The best burgers there are in Heinsberg! The fresh rolls in combination with delicious, juicy patties and selected (regional) products are unique. Overall, very tasty food and really good fries made from regional potatoes, I think. The team is extremely friendly. Highly recommended. We are happy to have you nearby :-)!!!

The stars say it all. I am absolutely satisfied. Finally someone in Wegberg who understands value for money. Quality is great. Portion sizes absolutely satisfactory. If you don't get enough there, you won't get enough anywhere in Wegberg. In comparison to others who have raised the prices and at the same time made the portions smaller so that you can eat an extra sandwich, this is not the case here. Hopefully you stay that way. Then I know where I can go in the future without having to cross the border.

Very nice, clean restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food

For us, the best burgers in the area are here. The quality of the food is always very good and the staff is very friendly. This evening we attended the menu evening for the first time and were able to convince ourselves that Alex and his team can do more than just burgers 😉 Thanks to the matching wines from the Zöller-Lagas winery and our nice table neighbors, this was a really great and delicious evening.

I can imagine that you can eat really good burgers and other dishes there, but unfortunately we still had room for improvement. But better from the start: Klinkum is not far away and I like to support the local restaurants. So it makes sense to stop by Axel’s Soul Kitchen whenever you get the chance, whenever a burger joint like this opens up in a more rural area. So I got on the bike and cycled there. The shop is located directly on Klinkum's “main street” and was already busy when we arrived. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to sit outside. Placing the order took a while because, as I wrote, the store was well filled, although most of the guests were “pre-orderers” who had ordered their food by phone and were now just picking it up. I ordered a Texas Beef Burger with additional jalapeños, a Coleslaw, a Fries XL with Friessaus. You can get a beeper in the store and so we waited, supplied with drinks, until the beeper gave its signal. Accordingly, pick it up at the counter (no service), scurry through the people in front of the counter, pull the door open - and then hopefully eat delicious things at the table. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work, because... Bun > OK BBQ sauce > OK Bacon > unfortunately already too dry and sometimes hard Jalapeños > unfortunately not included Pattie > cooked too long for my taste, i.e. a bit crumbly and too dry Onion rings > OK, but the breading was missing in some places Coleslaw > OK, but could use a little more seasoning Fries XL with Fritessaus > I am a passionate lover of well-made French fries and one of the slightly crazy people who sometimes takes detours to Belgium or the Netherlands to eat the best fries there. Having said that, I can't really describe how bad I found the "fries", which apparently ended up on my plate fried not just twice, but several times. I ate a few not completely shriveled ones and left the rest. For those who don't know it, a Fritessaus is a reduced-fat variety of the classic mayonnaise and there are good and bad varieties here and there. The one used by Soul Kitchen can be classified in the lower midfield. Overall, a mixed dining experience, although I believe the reviewers here when they report positive experiences. The photos speak for themselves. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for us, which I'll put down to the form of the day and the crowds.

Brought food today on July 25th, 2024. Shish kebab with fries. Tasted good. Fries in the packaging were very clear and the shashlick had two whole pieces of meat. It was just a snack.

Ordered food for about 125 people (including children). Snacks plus homemade sour meat. Everyone was super excited and the excellent quality was convincing. Price performance was definitely convincing.

We had the food truck with us for a celebration with 35 adults and children. Pulled pork, currywurst, meat roll and fries. We and our guests were very satisfied. Very clean, friendly and child-loving staff and delicious food. The service and planning worked great. Thank you.

The food, the ambience and the people are great!

We spontaneously went to Axels Kitchen on Saturday. Unfortunately there was no space left, but that was clear on a Saturday evening. So, take away food!! It took about 20 minutes. I ordered a beer while I waited. After a whopping 50 minutes the order was ready. Many guests who came after me got their orders before me. When I asked, I was told that the guests had pre-ordered and that I should do better next time. Apparently they don't get along very well with walk-in customers there! But that is my only point of criticism. The burger and fries were very, very tasty, in my opinion it puts any pizzeria to shame.

Absolutely top, really tasty and friendly staff. You can even sit down and the prices are totally reasonable.

We ordered there for the first time. We ordered burgers and schnitzel, the portions were really huge. The quality was very good and the taste was really good. We will definitely order there again. There is also a small seating area for those who want to eat there. The restaurant is worth recommending. Gladly again

I ordered the bacon chilly cheese burger, and it was so delicious 😋 I loved it! I also ordered a normal frise. They were crunchy and delicious, but I wished I had a good quality ketchup and Mayo with it. Other than that, it's one of my favourite restaurants around!

If you come to a chip shop hungry at 7:55 p.m. on a Sunday evening and want to eat something there, it's a joke for every catering establishment to say, we'll close in five minutes, you can't eat here anymore. That's arrogant. Opening hours are generally weak here, you have to be lucky that they are open. That's it

Das besondere im Imbiss. Ich wollte Freitag Heute mit Frau wieder kommen. Das Versprechen habe ich nicht halten können. Dafür komme Samstag mit Frau und beiden Müttern.

Die pulled pork fries überbacken waren portionsmässig für 12 € sehr gering und die Bürger Patties waren noch medium

Schnitzel der Wahnsinn. Die bekommt hier in der Umgebung niemand so hin. Ich als Currywurstfan kann nur sagen, die beste Currywurst im Umland. Zu den Burgern kann ich nichts sagen, da ich nicht so der Burgertyp bin. 😁 Service absolut top.👍 Immer freundlich und unfassbar schnell. Kurz gesagt, so ein Laden hat hier schon lange gefehlt. Absoluter Respekt, den Mut zu haben das hier auf dem Land zu machen. Nur weiter so! 👍❤️

Beste pull pork was ich je gegessen habe!

Wirklich ein Muss für Burgerfans. Sehr leckeres und qualitatives Essen was sich sehen lassen Kann. Dazu super freundliche Bedienung und faire Preise. Klare 5 Sterne! Ein Tipp ist auch der Krautsalat 👌. Wenn zukünftig noch Süßkartoffelpommes angeboten werden fahre ich wirklich nicht mehr woanders hin.

Hier gibt es erstklassiges Pulled Pork und leckere Fritten. Die Burger sind auch gut. Kein Vergleich zu "normalen" Pommesbuden. Die Zutaten werden überwiegend regional eingekauft, was ich super finde. Weiter so liebes Soulkitchen-Team! LG Markus

Wir waren gestern dort essen und ich muss sagen es ist einfach perfekt . Die Burger sind 12/10 . Die Preise sind echt top. Also preis Leistung 12/10 Essen sehr gut, Bedienung sehr gut , sehr nett und freundlich ,Ambiente sehr gut . Sehr schönes kleines Lokal . Würde immer wieder dort essen gehen. Würde sogar mehr als 5 Sterne geben wenn es gehen würde 😅

Best Burger in Town, super Pommes Preis Leistung unschlagbar

Hab das erste mal einen Burger von hier gegessen. Normalerweise finde ich Chickenburger nicht ganz so lecker, weil bei den Meisten Restaurants und Fast-Food-Ketten eine scharfe Sauce raufgemacht wird und der Salat nicht frisch schmeckt. Das ist hier ganz anders! Der Burger ist nicht scharf (was sehr gut ist), der Salat ist knackig und schmeckt super frisch und der Burger an sich ist auch relativ groß und sättigend. Insgesamt sehr gut und nur zu empfehlen! :)

Tolle Burger! War zum ersten aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal da.

Wow, das hätte ich jetzt nicht in Klinkum erwartet. Hervorragende Burger und kleine feine Imbisskarte. Der Holli-Burger (musste bei meinem Namen einfach sein) schmeckte wie ein guter Burger schmecken muss. Sehr fluffiges, interessantes und leckeres Bun, rosa gebratenes, sehr leckeres Pattie und trotz kleiner Portion reichlich und dazu sehr knusprige Pommes. Mit am Start: Pommes mit Pulled Pork, ebenfalls 1a. Viel Kundschaft zur Mittagszeit. Ideal auch für eine Radtourpause. Wer Axels Soul Kitchen noch nicht kennt: unbedingt mal auschecken. Lohnt sich. Nachtrag vom 21. Juli: Heute dort einen Bacon Chili Cheese Burger gegessen. Der war noch mehr nach meinem Geschmack. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wir hatten das Burger-Paket für unsere Hochzeit gebucht. Alex kam mit seinem Foodtruck Team und wirklich ausnahmslos alle Gäste waren total begeistert und meinten sowas wie „so einen leckeren Burger haben wir noch nie gegessen!“ dazu muss man auch sagen, dass sie ihre Patties selbst pressen mit frischen Fleisch und genau das schmeckt man hier auch! Wir sind total happy. Dazu noch so schnell, bei 69 Gästen, Wahnsinn! Wir können es nur jedem empfehlen, der etwas außergewöhnliches sucht! :) danke nochmal !

Ich habe die Pulled-Pork Burgerplatte für meinen Geburtstag bestellt. Das Essen war fantastisch, es gab viel Auswahl an Beilagen, Soßen und Belag und für alle war etwas dabei, auch die vegetarischen Burgerpatties waren sehr beliebt. Und für das obligatorische Katerfrühstück war auch noch etwas da.
