1x and never again! Rude and unfriendly welcome from the owner. Reserved tables are allocated according to no existing logic. Guest requests are not taken into account and so you should be prepared to sit in the blazing sun. We actually wanted to go there again, but we had a festive occasion and as a larger group we probably wouldn't have been able to get anything else. So we embarked on the culinary experience and enjoyed convenience food. Canned mushrooms, potato salad from a bucket, frozen vegetables and sauce from a packet. Sorry, but I don't go to the restaurant for the latest achievements from the chemistry set. We and our friends definitely won't be coming back and can only advise against a visit here. The reception should perhaps be staffed by someone who “wants” to have guests.

We ate liver and salad here. It was not only plentiful but really, really tasty! The service was super nice and quick! The atmosphere outside (where we sat) is unfortunately not that nice... Plastic chairs and wooden benches... But... We would definitely come back..

I've been out to eat and attended events so often now and I have to say that the food was always great. Staff always present and friendly. Eat the perfect steak the way you want it. Others do it worse. Always happy and will eat there again and again.

The inn was completely convincing with its quality and portion size. The snack platter was very plentiful and easily fed two adults. Various ham, roasts, meatloaf, sausage salad, salami, cheese... Nothing was missing. You could enjoy the evening on the terrace. We'll be back...! The grandson had a children's portion of chicken nuggets with fries. Would have easily been enough for an adult.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Auwaldsee and all I can say is that the waitress (her name was Uta) was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Uta was extremely attentive, friendly and always had a smile on her face. The whole atmosphere was simply fantastic thanks to the dedicated staff. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience not only delicious food but also top notch service!

She particularly stood out because of her friendly and consistently positive nature. During our entire stay she made sure that we didn't miss anything. Unfortunately, our crime dinner didn't take place outdoors as expected, even though it only rained in the morning and was very, very hot the rest of the day. Unfortunately, the room was very stuffy inside even though the windows were open. Which is how the snails got in. Unfortunately, this room probably doesn't have air conditioning 🙈 But the service was very friendly and prompt and the food was simply indescribably delicious.

Had dinner there with several people and everyone found it very good and plentiful. The service was friendly and quick, and the beer garden was well attended. It's a shame that the kitchen doesn't serve anything warm later, but it's understandable given the rush. Gladly again

08/13/24, my girlfriend and I called the inn at Auwaldsee around 1:30 p.m to reserve. The lady on the phone just said we could come over and there was enough space and hung up. When I got there I wanted to go onto the terrace and was whistled back in the most unpleasant way. Memory protocol, wording Waiter: "Hello, hello, come back. What's on the stand? It says wait here until you are picked up, no. Because you haven't made a reservation you can't just choose a table, that's what we do. Well, I missed the display, sorry. The waiter was not interested in the fact that we wanted to make a reservation but the phone call was canceled by the inn. When I commented that our table was now over 30 degrees and half of it was in the sun, he said that we could sit on the shady side. The beer garden (terrace) was hardly crowded at that time, there were rows of other tables free, even with shade under a tree, and I wanted to leave again. But for my girlfriend's sake we ate there anyway. Another waiter then brought us the food, collected the money and he was okay too. When I expressed my criticism, he wanted to discuss things, but I was able to stop him straight away, as well as using first-name terms. My friend's Kaiserschmarrn was good, my schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce was ok, but the mushrooms in the sauce were counted at first glance, 3 half mushrooms, a mushroom stalk and 3-4 tiny pieces. All in all, no reason to go there again.

We were there twice. Both times it was very nice and pleasant. However, during the two weeks that we were away, the menu was changed so that there were no longer any burgers, only pinsa. The food was very good and also reasonably priced. Service and ambience were also good. We made a reservation, but it also became apparent that we could have come without a reservation.

Restaurant near our campsite where we stayed one night. Upon arrival I wanted to make a reservation, but they don't do that... come when you want to eat or you have to stand in line. I asked my question in English and received an answer in German (I think from the owner) and I did not immediately feel very welcome. We came back later and luckily there was room! The waitress was very friendly and did her best to help us in German and English and to think about the portion size of our son's snitzel. Our daughter wanted to order plain pasta or spaghetti with cheese, but that was not possible, they had no cheese... so we had fries. Salad with the snitzel and cordon blue was tasty and so was the meat, with fries, everything was fine. After paying we saw an error on the bill and the waitress immediately paid us back, so it was resolved well, no self-calculated tip as described in a previous review.

I've been here for a day for many years as a stopover on the way to Italy. The service is very good and the atmosphere is very nice. But the food portions have become smaller every year. My schnitzel would have been served years ago as a children's schnitzel and the portion of fries would have been just a "blob". So if you're hungry, you should eat dinner first. We ordered ketchup for my granddaughter. Everyone knows these little bags with about a teaspoon full in them. Came €1. Conclusion, if you compare the last few years, the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Here people want to get rich by force. The first million is always the hardest...

Really nice sport to enjoy for afternoon in Ingolstadt, but ... one of these places that the waiter will not understand you (on purpose) to get a bigger tipp.

The service was very reserved at first. But he wasn't really friendly. The food arrived in a normal time frame and the restaurant was not very busy. The food corresponds to the rating “quite ok” in all facets. The cola is quite expensive at €16/liter. I have no idea why the 0.2 liter bottles are used. I would go there again if I was hungry and no other restaurant was open within a 3000km radius. Plus is the location close to the motorway exit and still in the countryside. I also have a guess as to why the staff looks so drenched in laundry. When I picked up the family, I was half standing in the "private parking lot", which caused the Grand Madame to drive back about a hundred meters and come back again to tell me exactly that. Completely and completely un-relaxed and at the same time arrogant and unfriendly.

We had a good and tasty meal, but the service left a lot to be desired. The lady who served us was not hospitable and curt. When asked if we could order a hamburger without sauce, we were told that this sauce was extra (loose). When the chicken burger arrived, it turned out to have sauce on it (and a loose container of sauce next to it) and when we pointed this out to the waitress, she said that unfortunately nothing could be changed about the meals. If she had said that immediately when we ordered, we would of course have made a different choice. Then just be honest if something is not possible, instead of beating around the bush. Our daughter doesn't like sauce on her food so this was a big disappointment. Fried potatoes instead of fries were also only possible at an additional cost. We didn't want that as an extra, but as a replacement for the fries. She did serve these with other dishes. I think the special rule 'we cannot change anything about the meals' also applied here. All in all, we had a delicious meal (except for our daughter), but as a restaurant you can be a little more flexible towards your guests and a friendly smile also works wonders.

We were there for dinner today. The prices are very high. The portions are clear. The food tastes good. The big hit is coming now! My husband ordered a Cola wheat with more cola. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case when the waiter "Martin" brought it to our table. My husband asked him to please put more cola in the wheat. He said no problem, he'll bring some coke. He brought a small bottle, left it at the table and left without saying anything. The big hit came when paying. Since you can only see the bill after paying, we saw that he had outrageously charged just under 3.50 for this small bottle. We asked him about it. He just raised his arms, shrugged his shoulders and that was it. It's a shame... It really annoyed us. Because that's what I call a rip-off.

Nice environment, the service was fast and good and the tables were an appropriate distance apart. There was a party on the other side. The Wirtshaus schnitzel is highly recommended. We thought it was a small downside that the service should have indicated that the kitchen was closing for desert apple strudel and other kuche, but when paying it turned out that ice cream could still have been made.

Super nice service, actually... Unfortunately there is now a “WAIT TO BE SEATED” sign. So you have to wait until one of the few waitresses decides to assign a seat. This is no longer a nice service.
