8 euros for a currywurst with fries is outrageous!

The kebabs were okay but expensive at €8. Plus, we were robbed of €3 that the vendor supposedly dropped on the floor... Be careful in Berlin, there are small businesses that take advantage of customers, and this is one of them... Spread the word!

I stumbled in here at 12:30 AM because I was starving, and this place is open until all hours. You have to give them credit for that; you can probably get a kebab here at any time of day. But the doner kebab isn't for gourmets. The minced meat doner really isn't for me; it just tastes dry, and the meat looks it, too. The bread is rather bland, and the vegetables are just okay. All in all, pretty disappointing. I had been to Muca Kebab the day before, so maybe that's why the contrast to a good doner is so stark. I'm really sorry, but I can't say anything positive about this kebab, apart from the opening hours. The Vio water was good, though. 👍

We were in the mood for a doner kebab and a dürüm. The taste was okay, but both the doner and the dürüm had a lot of fries mixed in. Nothing we ordered came with fries. :( Too bad.

I was on my way from the hotel to the bus stop and fancied a döner kebab – ended up here, the reviews were accurate, and I can confirm them. Exactly what you'd expect: a typical Berlin döner, nothing fancy, quick, and delicious. A little over €10 for the döner and a drink, but otherwise top-notch. A standard döner, but still better than 90% of the döner places in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Little Mehmet was very nice and, by far, the best döner in Berlin. The service was top-notch, come everyone!

We were looking for a kebab shop near KaDeWe with good reviews but not too expensive. And we found this one. On the corner of the square. There are plenty of tables. The service was very friendly. The wait time was quite short. We ordered two large dishes – one in a wrap, the other in a bun. You can choose any sauce you like. You can also buy a beer. The prices are okay. Everything is fine because the dishes are very tasty and nutritious. I definitely recommend it.

Good doner kebab, fair price, the owner threw all the leftover doner meat on top of my bulk order, I was very full.

I have no idea where the 4.8 rating comes from, but that's at best an average doner kebab, and way too expensive for that. A "Big Doner" for €9 is definitely not big...

The doner kebab was unfortunately only mediocre – lacking in flavor and nothing special overall. On top of that, the staff were rude: they immediately demanded extra for a larger doner just for a little more cabbage. The service was unnecessarily unfriendly and lacked customer focus. All in all, not a good experience.

We literally started the day thinking about this wonderful döner we'd eat that night throughout our stay. Ferhat Bey's attentiveness and delicious presentation were wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Best herb sauce in all of Berlin

I was in Berlin for a few days, and there's this kebab shop right by our hotel. Of course, I had to try it. I was a bit skeptical at first, since it looked more like a minced meat kebab than a real one. But those skepticisms were completely dispelled. Awesome kebab! Very juicy. Perfectly toasted bread. The hot sauce is amazing! Definitely recommended!

The doner kebab was absolutely commendable for the now-standard price of €8. The size of the doner was perfectly fine, and it even came with fries. The extra fries we ordered were quite generous and tasted good for the price of €4.

We stayed at the hotel around the corner for the weekend and, after the Festival of Lights, were happy to be able to eat some really good Turkish pizza there late at night. The food and friendliness made us come back the very second evening. 👍🏻

All the guys there were very friendly and cheerful. The Turkish pizza was delicious, and they also had a wide selection of drinks. We've been there twice, and it was very busy both times. We'd love to come back.

I really went because of the reviews. I thought a minced kebab could be tasty. Short answer: yes. I was there again today. It just happened. I usually leave out the red cabbage. I think they pickled it because the color is so vibrant and the flavor is good and appropriate. The slicing technique is old-school and fun to watch. I also usually leave out the sauce. It often ruins the taste of the kebab. I really enjoyed it here and it enhanced the kebab. I ordered without onions and the yogurt sauce, and asked for a little less of it.

Incredibly bad and outrageous. My currywurst was cold and bitter. The manager told me it was the ketchup. I was asked to leave and stop complaining about the rubbish. Stay away.

Expensive, very greasy, and small. A big doner costs €9 and is really too small. It's normally supposed to cost €6.50.

The doner kebab and doner box were truly unappealing. We had a greasy meatball with pickled red cabbage. The meal was nothing more than that. €9.00 for a doner box is unacceptable, especially not for such truly terrible food. The owners should also show some respect. Gossiping about customers in their own language is completely unprofessional and has no place anywhere. Never again!

The staff were completely disorganized, the meat was okay but there were hairs in it. The whole place seemed rather dirty. So if you're looking for good food, this isn't the place for you.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. When I politely asked a simple question, the staff member was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of responding respectfully, he mocked me and made me feel unwelcome. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Businesses should understand that respect and basic courtesy are the foundation of good service. I will not be coming back, and I hope they learn to treat people with more professionalism.

The kebab man counted money in front of me and then made my yufka without washing his hands. I find that disgusting.

A must if you're craving good kebab

A dürüm costs 9 euros there. There's hardly any meat on the dürüm, and the sauce is also stingy—absolutely nothing to fill you up. Pretty cheeky for that price. Taste-wise, it gets a 7/10.

I encountered a civilian man who was bossy at work. He disrespectfully fired a citizen with a family. It's not nice to be respectful. It's a virtue. Respect comes first.

Cashier will rolled his eyes and started slamming things when I paid with card. There's no reason to have a bad attitude.

For a quick and tasty bite, this is the place to be. Everything is freshly prepared and beautifully presented. There are plenty of seats so you can enjoy your meal in peace. The drink selection is also good and reasonably priced.

Very good kebab. The sauce and meat tasted great. The seating isn't particularly nice, but that's just complaining at a high level. The main thing is that you have a place to sit. 😉

Terrible experience. The currywurst was drenched in old, dirty oil and made me sick. When we mentioned food allergies, they mocked us in another language instead of taking it seriously. Absolutely avoid.

I had a box with salad and haloumi cheese. The salad was rather uninspired, the haloumi was okay, but unfortunately I didn't get the sauce I wanted. With a small Coke, it came to €12, which is too expensive for average fast food.

As visitors, we were confused how to make orders. In terms of the food, I had better kebab in south London. This place doesn't deserve that many stars!

Yes, it's not bad, practical, nice... but it often happens that we order something that isn't what's in the box. Tonight: tofu instead of meat And we see that when we leave, unfortunately.

In general the food was OKAY. The worker making the sandwiches though was very rude. As someone who lives in the area I wouldn't recommend this place as there are many better Döner places nearby.

Weak kebab, unfortunately disappointed

Best kebab sandwich I’ve eaten in Europe thus far! Kebabs are plentiful in Australia, and I’ve tried one in each country I’ve been to during my European travels. By far the freshest and tastiest I’ve come across - ever! The lovely man who served me noticed I was in a less than desirable condition after attending rave the planet, and offered me a cup of tea on the house. Chatted to some lovely individuals whilst waiting for the sandwich - excellent atmosphere. Thank you very much!!

Overpriced and very average. I think it's more of a place to attract Berlin tourists. The bread wasn't crispy enough, a few crumbs of cheese would have cost another €1, and overall, the kebab wasn't a great taste sensation. The staff didn't really listen to my order and served the wrong toppings; the friendliness was okay. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right here. I won't be going back.

The price tag says €7 for a kebab, but they charge €8! You only get a plate with your kebab if you order a drink!? Bad service, Stanni Döner!

Unfriendly people, overpriced döner

Avci Bistro should be renamed Avoid Bistro. The kebab is a far cry by taste and presentation from what you get in Turkey. You guys are not representing your country's iconic food by any means. The fries were stale and dry, the meat tasteless and also dry, the salad was mainly made up of red onions. Then to cover it all up, slap lots of sauce on it. It's nasty, no matter how drunk you might be and crave a late bite snack, walk on try another place

Best kebab in Berlin! My wife says so, and she's been there many times. So, this is my first time... Rather inconspicuous, but very centrally located. Benches, even in the shade. And then the Big Döner – really, really good. €9 – nothing to get excited about. Conclusion: best kebab in town

The food is highly recommended, from doner kebabs to doner kebab plates/boxes to falafel. We recommend the doner kebab in bread or doner kebab roll for the best taste experience. The meat is nice and juicy and the salad is nice and crisp—what more could you want? If you take the time to eat there, you can be sure that a supercar like a Ferrari, Porsche, or Lamborghini will drive by every three minutes, as it's right next to Kurfürstendamm. This kebab shop has been busy every time I've been, but on average, it takes 10 to 15 minutes at the most to get served, and I can only say this: the wait is worth it. This bistro is a must for any visitor to Berlin, and I'm very much looking forward to visiting you again soon. Greetings, check this bistro out.
