Well, I think I ate it wrong. The pizza base was good, but the way the Diavolo was topped was really bad. The tomato salad was as careless as it was completely wrong. That mustard and yogurt dressing didn't work at all and had no place in an Italian restaurant. Not recommended. The penne ariabiata was good. Everything was very clean, well-decorated for a club restaurant, and the staff, let's say, were okay. Asking if we wanted something to drink would have been more sales-oriented. For those prices, I think they should be much more generous. I don't want to leave.

Goldener Ochse in Schwäbisch Hall – a strong start with the appetizer, a disappointing main course I spontaneously visited the Goldener Ochse yesterday because I was interested in the rump steak with Café de Paris butter. Without a reservation, I received a friendly welcome and was seated on the terrace. The service was extremely polite, attentive, and seemed very well-trained. The restaurant made a clean, well-maintained impression. While the terrace itself was nicely decorated, the view of a less than attractive side street in Schwäbisch Hall somewhat spoiled the ambiance. For my starter, I chose a vichyssoise – a cold, pureed leek and potato soup. It was served with a piece of baguette toasted in butter. The soup was excellently seasoned, refreshing, and truly delicious. I could have easily eaten several more portions of it alone. The main course – the rump steak with Café de Paris butter and Belgian fries – was noticeably less than satisfying. Although I ordered the steak "English," it was served thoroughly cooked the first time. The server reacted professionally, took it back without discussion, and quickly brought me a new one. The second steak, while pink in the middle, was again significantly overcooked on the outside – disappointing for a dish in this price range. The Belgian fries, on the other hand, were homemade and very well done: crispy, with a good bite, and an intense potato flavor. The Café de Paris butter, on the other hand, seemed like a simple herb butter and didn't really impress me. Additionally, the plate was cold, causing the meat to cool quickly. Conclusion: The appetizer was a real highlight – sophisticated, well-seasoned, and creative. Unfortunately, the main course couldn't keep up. Despite the strong service and the good side dishes, the overall value for money isn't right for me. For the price, I expect more craftsmanship for such a classic dish – especially when the menu is deliberately minimalist. So, unfortunately, it remains a very mixed experience for me, which I would have liked to rate more positively under other circumstances.

We ate at the restaurant this evening. The food was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were completely satisfied. We would definitely go back!

We stayed at Weilers two evenings in a row as tourists. Highly recommended. Fantastic fried potatoes, Maultaschen (swabian pasta) are a dream, schnitzel is a classic, and the sauce...just like mom's at home. We'd love to come back!!!

We were passing through and discovered this wonderful inn. Top-notch rooms, very friendly owners and staff, excellent food, and a relaxed breakfast served at your table. I can only recommend it!
