Aurora in Nittenau

This pizzeria actually doesn't even deserve one star. We wanted to go out for pizza with three people on a Saturday evening. When we arrived it took a little longer for the service lady to come to us. We ordered our drinks and studied the menu. When the drinks were served we were told in a very unfriendly manner that the food would take longer today. To be honest, we found it impossible. You should tell the guest about this right before they order so that they can decide whether they want to wait or not. So we ordered 3 pizzars and waited. When we still didn't get any food after 60 minutes, we decided to leave. The lady from the service took our 3 drinks without an apology and was even more unfriendly than when we arrived. This visit was our last. Apparently the operators don't feel the need to be friendly with their guests. The guests next to our table were also not happy. Pizzas cold, not cooked properly, got the wrong pizza, waiting time too long... And you also received very unfriendly service.

I called and asked before ordering whether I could pay by card. The answer to this was clearly yes. When I arrived to get the pizzas, I was suddenly told no and said my colleague hadn't understood me. Well then we went to the bank and got some money and the pizzas were lying in the corner in the cold. I then asked again to warm the pizzas again. The pizzas were then literally snatched from me. No apology - nothing. Now about the pizzas; the size of a frozen pizza. Nothing special in terms of taste. But the price is high. Definitely won't come back. Not even an apology.

It was very good. the interior was modern and very beautiful, the food was very very good. The chef and his wife were a very good duo The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very cool and I want to highlight me and my girlfriend we ate scampi on the grill and I had meat with a very good sauce with fries which were very delicious we left nothing in the plate I highly recommend it.

Mmmm delicious! There's more than just pizza here, super friendly hosts and the price is right too. So definitely try it. Restaurant not that big so quite cozy.

We became aware of the Pizzeria Aurora through the voucher book. From the outside it's a very inconspicuous place. All dishes (starters, pasta dishes, pizza) far exceeded our expectations. Really unique in taste. The low prices and portion sizes are also rarely found in other restaurants. Only the service could be a little more passionate and friendly. We'd love to come back!

We went with the voucher book to eat at Aurora, which arrived without any problems, the lady from the service was friendly, the pizza was delicious and the base was nice and crispy, the prices on the lunch menu were more than fair. We also like the atmosphere and will definitely come by more often now.

Really good Italian. Relaxed atmosphere. Very tasty pizza. Large and well stocked. A truly 5+ star restaurant.

Positive: Small, modern pizzeria - nice atmosphere. Negative: The head of service was not particularly motivated to ensure her guests had a pleasant stay and to look after her guests. You always had to wait a long time for the lady and would have liked to generate more sales, but unfortunately she wasn't there! The private family gathering in which the bosses sat together seemed more important than the paying guest. About the food: My salad with calamari was OK, unfortunately the calamari (convenience product) was tough and rubbery, and the tomatoes still had the stalk on them - it bothered me and I found it unappetizing. My companion wanted to have another dessert and since there was only a panna cotta as there was no dessert menu, she decided to go for it. Unfortunately, it was not only extremely carelessly prepared, but also not fresh and the portion was more than manageable. The edge was already completely dry and garnished with a blob of ready-made sauce. I was really at a loss for words!!! Not worth a second visit for me, I felt neither welcome as a guest nor well looked after. Price/performance is not right for me, sorry!!!

11€ Pizza leider nicht richtig durch , billigster kochschinken & geschmacklich nicht gut . Absolute Katastrophe sind Nudeln . Habe Tortellini Schinken Sahne Soße bestellt . Bekommen habe ich mit Brokkoli und Käse überbacken . Geschmacklich absolut ungenießbar.

Essen sehr gut aber etwas teuer. Chef sehr freundlich und nett. Parkplätze direkt vorm Lokal.

Sehr lecker ist es. Die Pizzen sind echt super und man bekommt alle gängigen Exemplare. Die Einrichtung ist auch toll. Eine kleine, feine Pizzeria die auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert ist. Auch preislich absolut lohnenswert und nicht überteuert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr offenes modernes Ambiente, aber hat durchaus Charme. Service kommt kaum hinterher, nimmt sich aber trotzdem Zeit, ist einerseits ja ganz nett, aber dafür wartet man dann halt. Die Pizzas sind gut, es ist noch Luft nach oben, das liegt aber eher am Ofen. Zutaten und Gewürze sind gut. Schmeckt nicht fad. Die Nudelgerichte sehen echt lecker aus und sind gute Portionen, hab’s leider noch nicht probiert. Preis Leistung passt absolut. Empfehlenswert.

Nicht die günstigste Pizzeria, aber dafür ist die Pizza sehr lecker und einen guten Schnaps zum Schluss gibt's

Wir haben im Aurora sehr gut gegessen. Das Restaurant ist neu und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und die Gerichte, die wir gegessen haben, hatten einen besonderen Twist. Zum Beispiel war die Pizza Diavola (ohne Peperoni bestellt) mit ein wenig Gorgonzola verfeinert. Das hat wirklich toll geschmeckt. Der Service könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Wir wurden aber zügig bedient. Grundsätzlich war unser Eindruck, dass das ganze Konzept des Restaurants in den vergangenen Jahren erneuert wurde.

Wir waren 6 Personen. Uns hat es allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Service sehr freundlich. Chef hat auch noch nachgefragt ob etwas fehlt. Wir waren zufrieden. Schöne Einrichtung und toller Biergarten.

I found the service here lacking and terrible, as well as what I ordered. Firstly when you order a white wine and ask for ice separately, you receive a glass of wine with the ice. Second glass of white wine that I ordered, no ice was available. For dinner I ordered the grilled calamari which had a bone in it. This is an absolute No Go. This means that this was a cheap quality calamari when you have bones in it. My friend ordered the grill dish consisting out of pork and beef steak. It had so many sinews in it, that half the meat of the beef had to be cut away. I've had way better experiences in other Italian restaurants. I won't be dining here again. Worst of all, no toilet paper in the bathroom.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind der aufmerksame Chef und die freundlichen Bedienungen. Nicht punkten kann die uninspirierte Inneneinrichtung sowie die Pizza, die sehr mittelmäßig ist und nicht überzeugt. Nach hinten gibt es einen ruhigen Biergarten, nach vorne eine Terrasse, die jedoch an der vielbefahrenen Straße und direkt neben einer Tankstelle liegt. Dennoch scheint das pseudo-italienische Lokal bei Einheimischen recht beliebt zu sein. An Feiertagen wird schon auch mal Schweinebraten serviert.
