Fantastic accommodation. We stayed here on a bikepacking tour. Everything was perfect, and we were able to park our bikes safely. The food in the beer garden was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We'd go back anytime.

We sat in the beautifully secluded beer garden, with very friendly and attentive service. The menu offered a wide selection, including typical Bavarian dishes as well as a good selection of organic and vegetarian options. The food was simply sensationally good, down-to-earth but still sophisticated in its preparation and presentation, so the higher price was absolutely justified. The drinks menu was also excellent; lovers of specialty beers in particular will find something to their liking here. We'd love to come back again; a definite recommendation!

Yes, I can recommend this place. The staff is friendly and attentive. Nice beer garden with several hidden corners. Close to the Regen River. Parking is less than 100 meters away.

We went back for dinner, and as usual, everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

So, I discovered the brewery restaurant at the Culinary Festival. I ate there for the first time and was very impressed. We've been here several times since then and tried everything. The schnitzel was very good, the roast was soft and buttered, and the dumplings and spaetzle were always perfect. For dessert, my favorite is the white tiramisu. Simply delicious. Service is fast and friendly. A welcome from the kitchen also works occasionally. All in all, a good place to go. I only know the rooms from a friend, and he described them to me as clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Very good and affordable food. The room is large and clean, and everything you need is there. The service staff are relaxed and always ready with a smile and a cheeky joke. We'd be happy to come back if we're in the area.

Clean, spacious rooms. Great, hearty food. Fantastic beers, especially the barrel-aged ones, are amazing. Parking is available behind the hotel, right on the water. The service was consistently excellent, from directions to taxi bookings to room cleaning. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. If you need coffee earlier, there's a bakery with top-notch coffee 150 meters away.

I can't comment on the rooms; we were only there for dinner. Despite the beer garden and restaurant being full, the service was very friendly and quick, really nice! First-class roast pork and a great, feel-good atmosphere! You can go here anytime 😊

Highly recommended... Lovingly restored building, large, modern room with a beautiful bathroom and large shower. Beautiful beer garden with first-class home-brewed beers, each one tastes better than the last, very friendly service, and then the food!!!! Three kinds of venison, tender as butter with a phenomenal sauce, celery puree, and lightly toasted Buabespitzle (a kind of sausage). 15 out of 10 points! Breakfast buffet with everything, delicious white sausages. Everything to make a motorcyclist's heart beat faster. We'll definitely be back, that's not a threat 🍻😎🏍️

Four of us had a reservation and had lunch in the beer garden. It was a lovely spot and a romantic atmosphere. We were there the first time two years ago, and the food (value-wise) was much better. Unfortunately, they only served one round of drinks; they apparently didn't want to make a profit. The dishes came out fairly quickly, and everyone was full—but nothing more. Unfortunately, we had some criticism of the policy, which wasn't really taken seriously.

Great hotel with a great 😊👍🏽 location! The rooms are beautifully furnished and modern, with a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. There's a rooftop terrace that you can use. With a great view of the stork couple. They even have their own beer, which is delicious! The hotel also has a pub with a lovely beer garden. There's also an ice cream parlor across the street with delicious ice cream! 🍧 The service was very good and everyone was friendly! And everything at breakfast was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend the hotel! And I'd love to come back!

A thoroughly successful visit – highly recommended! The two of us visited the Jacob restaurant in Nittenau and were delighted from the very first moment. The food was outstanding – we both ordered the farmer's salad, which was not only fresh, but also lovingly prepared and delicious. We were particularly pleased that we could request a portion of fried potatoes instead of bread – a request that was immediately fulfilled thanks to the extremely friendly and attentive service. A big compliment goes to the young manager, who immediately makes a positive impression with her warm manner and professionalism. You can tell that the work here is done with passion. The cuisine also deserves the highest praise – the quality, freshness, and flavor absolutely won us over. A place to relax, enjoy, and return. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

A very nice, well-maintained hotel, located directly on the Regen River, in a wonderful location. The restaurant serves exquisite, home-style Upper Palatinate cuisine with a modern twist.

The 4 of us didn't make a reservation and couldn't get a place inside, but then in the garden, which, by the way, is beautifully designed. The food took longer (approx. 25 minutes) but it was really good. Unfortunately there was no ketchup with the schnitzel, personally that doesn't bother me, but I think it should be there... The waitresses were very friendly. All in all a good restaurant 👍🏼

I know the food is excellent, but so do many others. Even with a week's notice you can't get a table. I don't want to make a reservation any further in advance because we would like to go to places like this by bike. All the best to the inn.

This inn can only be recommended! Room in the neighboring building, with balcony Top service - top food (I've rarely eaten so well in a hotel - at star level, in my opinion) I recommend reserving a table. Dog friendly and quiet, wonderful location. While having breakfast in the winter garden you can look out into the romantic and lovingly landscaped inner courtyard (beer garden) and the river behind the house. In the restaurant you can go on your gustatory and olfactory journey for dinner with excellent food and home-brewed beer. The breakfast has everything you need and want, and your expressed wishes are fulfilled. The committed host family and all employees are always polite, attentive and very accommodating. The contactless arrival on the rest day worked perfectly. The only thing I personally miss, my cherry on the cake, would be a sauna.

We often go there for Sunday lunch. The food is delicious. The service is prompt and friendly. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. The salmon was extremely tasty! The portions were generous.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Jakob und es war absolut überzeugend. Nicht ohne Grund ist das Wirtshaus immer sehr gut besucht. Der Servive ist kompetent und freundlich. Die Karte bietet eine gute mischung zwischen "Klassikern" , Brotzeiten und vor aleem kreativen überraschenden gerichten, die auch immer wieder wechseln (z. B. Blutwurst Torttelini mit einer fantastischen Sauce). Es gibt eine große Auswahl an zum Teil sehr ausgefallenen Bieren, die fast alle toll schmecken.

Went on a Sunday late afternoon and it just opened. The inn was already well attended. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm, pork steak with sauce and a bit too salty. Unfortunately, the game dish was only lukewarm. Too bad.

Good hotel, not entirely barrier-free. Dog-friendly (low room surcharge, good acceptance of the four-legged friend even under/at the table. Good walking opportunities. Unfortunately only 1 key in the double room, no room cards. Good parking options, even if a bit hidden, the staff is happy to show the parking spaces personally. Overall, the staff is very good Nice. Dinner in the brewery garden is ok. Breakfast buffet in the dining room is plentiful with a great selection/quality. I just prefer the coffee at home 😉

I would be happy to come back. We used the inn twice. On the way there and back. As the number of stars already shows, very satisfied. Even if you notice that the personnel situation here is tense and you meet some of the staff in different areas of responsibility, they are all quick and very friendly and accommodating without reservation. The food has a regional flavor, is very tasty and tries to give the tradition a little something special. The portions of the main courses are quite large, so it's hard to let some of the food go back. About the beer, just this much. Home brewed, but everyone has their own taste when it comes to beer. There are many varieties, just try them out. The breakfast was absolutely okay. If you need bells and whistles like smoked salmon, this is the wrong place. But everything else is there, from muesli to sausage, cheese and various prepared eggs. The rooms at this price are almost above average. Big TV, space in the room and nice bathrooms.

The brewery inn Jakob deserves 5/5 stars in almost all respects. The food is outstanding and the specially brewed beer is also very good. The beer garden is visually inviting and the breakfast room and dining room also invite you to feel good. All employees are always trying to help and you can tell that they really put their heart and soul into their job. Now about living: we stayed in apartment 19a, which is also barrier-free. It is really very large and very nicely decorated. The attached fly screen meant you could leave the balcony door open at night, which is great in summer. The bathroom was also very large and the shower was so spacious that you could completely get into it with a wheelchair. There was enough space everywhere to turn around in the wheelchair. The only thing that could be improved is the grab handles on the toilet and shower. What was a little more difficult was the way through the beer garden to the main building (to the reception and dining room), or to the breakfast room. Since the beer garden consists of a lot of cobblestones, it's easy to get stuck with the front steering wheels. There is a small "ramp" to the breakfast room, but it is also paved with cobblestones and unfortunately very narrow and steep. For self-drivers: almost impossible inside - not easy as an accompanying person. Unfortunately, there are more or less high edges everywhere, which unfortunately don't make the whole thing completely barrier-free. This is something you should keep in mind as a wheelchair user. Otherwise the rest was very consistent and absolutely recommended!

Today I spontaneously searched for a beer garden on Google and ended up here at the brewery inn. A beautiful location. Reservation strongly recommended. Despite not having a reservation, we were pushed in before the next table was occupied. That's what I call service! And all the service staff were extremely nice.

Ich kann das Essen nicht empfehlen und beim Gehen sind wir auch noch von einer älteren Dame aus der Küche beschimpft worden. Wir hatten Ziegenkäse gebacken und Ochsenbäckchen bestellt. Der gebackene Ziegenkäse war in Ordnung aber das Ochsenbäckchen zu 21 € war verheerend angerichtet. Unten Kartoffelbrei, darauf ein Ochsenbäckchen und alles mit einer wässrigen Kohlrabi-Erbsenmischung übergossen. Die Bedienung meinte Sie richten das immer so an und allen ausser mir würde es so schmecken. Mir schmeckte es so nicht - und ich bekam eine neue Portion, die Komponenten getrennt von einander, serviert. Die Kohlrabi-Erbsenmischung war noch immer wässrig, aber wenigstens "schwamm" diesmal der Kartoffelbrei nicht weg. Statt einer Kugel Espressoeis bekamen wir einen Espresso mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis - war trotzdem lecker. Wir bezahlten, gaben Trinkgeld und als wir gerade das Lokal verlassen wollten - stellte uns eine ältere Dame zur rede - Sie schien in der Küche zu arbeiten. Wir hätten mit unserer Reklamation Sie und das ganze Küchenteam beleidigt, wir sollen ja nicht wieder kommen - auf solche Gäste könne man verzichten. Keine Sorge, wir kommen sicher nicht wieder und anderen Gästen kann ich das Lokal auch nicht empfehlen.

Food and drink at its best. The beer garden is a dream and the service was almost always top. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we didn't stay here. But if they only partially match the rest, you can't go wrong here.
