Wir hatten besseres Essen erwartet. Karte war sehr gut und hat die Erwartung nach oben getrieben. Was dann serviert wurde war enttäuschend.

Ein unerwarteter Augustinerkeller mit traditioneller deutscher Küche an einem etwas ungewöhnlichen Ort. Sie erreichen ihn direkt mit dem Regionalzug oder mit dem Bus. Herrliche Sitzplätze im Freien laden an einem Sommertag zum Verweilen ein, und die Gärten von Sanssouci gegenüber bieten sich für eine Siesta unter den Bäumen an.

Einfach lecker, überschaubare Speisekarte, schnelle aufmerksame Bedienung und gemütliches Ambiente. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Sehr zu empfehlen

Enttäuschender Service trotz Reservierung Wir hatten für den 09.05.26 vor einem Konzertbesuch im Neuen Palais reserviert. Leider war der Aufenthalt eine herbe Enttäuschung: Wartezeit: Trotz Reservierung saßen wir 40 Minuten an einem nicht abgeräumten Tisch, ohne beachtet zu werden. Ein Nachbartisch ist in der Zwischenzeit sogar frustriert gegangen, weil trotz Zusage: "Bin in 2 Minuten da." niemand kam. Kommunikation: Erst auf Eigeninitiative am Tresen erfuhren wir, dass die Küche wegen Überlastung bereits geschlossen sei. Nur nach Diskussion konnten wir doch noch Speisen und Getränke bestellen. Service: Das Essen kam zwar zügig, auf die Getränke mussten wir jedoch weitere 20 Minuten warten. Das Personal war sichtlich überfordert; einzelne Mitarbeitende reagierten auf höfliche Rückfragen pampig und absolut unprofessionell. Fazit: Dass es bei Großveranstaltungen voll wird, ist absehbar. Ein derart schlechtes Management und unfreundliches Auftreten sind jedoch kein Aushängeschild. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder. Schade!

Es lohnt sich, wiederzukommen. Wir waren begeistert, und das Essen war köstlich! Besonders das warme Himbeerdessert war ein Traum! An einem heißen Tag schmeckt ein kühles Bier gleich noch besser, und wir danken der netten Dame für ihr Lächeln!

Vor einem Jahr war das Essen und die Bedienung sehr gut. Was auch immer passiert ist, das Essen entspricht nicht dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die Bedienung ist nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Sorry, ist nicht mehr empfehlenswert.

Leider stimmen die Öffnungszeiten nicht. Waren Montag 20 Uhr hier, Küche zu. Mussten also hungrig gehen, weil der Inhaber nicht in der Lage ist seine Eintragung zu pflegen... Sehr schade

Hier habe ich die beste Schweinshaxe bekommen die mir bisher vor die Gabel kam. Kross und Gross. Besser geht's nicht. Nur die bayerische Musik ging mir auf den Keks. Aber das gehört wohl dazu. Dafür gibt es aber keinen Punktabzug. 😀

Das Lokal ist das ehemalige Bahnhofsgebäude und wurde nach Angaben des Besitzers vor 5 Jahren aufwendig umgebaut. Das Ambiente ist rustikal. Platz ist genügend vorhanden. Im Außenbereich ist ein großer Biergarten angeschlossen. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend mit großen Portionen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Für jeden Touristen zu empfehlen. Die Lage an DB-Strecke und ÖPNV ist genial. Parkplätze sind in unmittelbarer Nähe auch vorhanden.

Hier ist mein Fazit: ​Was uns super gefallen hat: 😍 ​Die Location: Der Biergarten ist einfach ein Traum! 🌳☀️ Richtig gemütlich und perfekt für einen entspannten Nachmittag. ​Der Service: Das Personal war super nett, flink und aufmerksam. 🏃‍♂️💨 Da fühlt man sich direkt willkommen! ​Die Auswahl: Die Karte ist zwar klein, aber fein. 📋 gestochen scharfes bayerisches Profil! ​Wo es ein wenig „zwickt“: 🧐💰 ​Man muss hier schon ein bisschen tiefer in die Tasche greifen: ​Das Bier: 5,00 € für ein kleines 0,3 l Bier ist schon eine Ansage... 🍺 shock! ​Das Essen: Das Gulasch mit Spätzle war geschmacklich top, aber die Portion auf dem sehr kleinen Teller für über 20 € war doch recht überschaubar. 🥘⚖️ ​Fazit: Wer eine tolle Atmosphäre und netten Service sucht, ist hier goldrichtig! 📍 Wer großen Hunger und Durst hat, sollte das Budget aber vorher kurz checken. 😉

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bierauswahl ist im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern etwas über dem Durchschnitt (Qualität sehr gut). Service ist schnell & freundlich. Verhältnis Preis zu Leistung = sehr gut Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt vor dem Gebäude vorhanden. Der Kaiserbahnhof ist direkt nebenan (sehenswert).

Super leckeres Bier, äußerst freundliche Bedienung, jedoch das Auftreten des Besitzers, betreffs nicht 3 eingeschalteten Lampen gegenüber der Bedienung vor den Gästen, war unangemessen.

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren im August für 2 Tage in Potsdam und hatten da in der Nähe unser Hotel. Wir wären da gerne in den Biergarten , aber Montag war geschlossen. Jetzt waren wir im November nochmal für 5 Tage in Potsdam und nun konnten wir dort mal Essen. Wir waren so begeistert , daß wir am nächsten Tag gleich nochmal hin sind. So leckeres Essen , nette Bedienung und man sitzt richtig gemütlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen. So gut haben wir lange nicht mehr gegessen. Es wird so liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckt köstlich. Nach einem langen Ausflugstag und We7hnachtsmarktbesuch war das ein richtig schöner Tagesausklang. Liebe Grüße aus Gotha / Thüringen

Danke an das Team vom Augustiner im Bürgerbahnhof Potsdam. Wer hier das typische Augustiner erwartet, der wird leider enttäuscht. Nämlich auf eine maximale positive Weise. Wir wir erlebten eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Alles war rundum perfekt. Wir kamen als Gäste und gehen als Freunde. Und by the way ---- NAHIB Du bist der Gott unter den Kellnern. Lieben Dank Euch und bis bald mal wieder, auch wenn halt der Weg von Dresden doch etwas länger ist.

Wir hatten ein Vereintreffen hier, dass Essen hat sehr überzeugt und alle waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab für unser Treffen einen seperaten Raum.

Augustiner Brauhaus 😂ich lach mich schlapp. Nach erneuter Kritik dass man sich zu laut unterhält ergibt sich leider das Fazit, das es sich um einen Schicki Micki Laden handelt, aber nicht um ein Brauhaus in dem man sich angeregt unterhalten kann 🫡🫣

We had a quick snack here. Delicious potato soup, liver dumpling soup, and currywurst. All in all, it was good, but not outstanding. It's very spacious with a lovely outdoor beer garden.

We were there one weekend with 25 people. It had a fantastic Bavarian atmosphere. The service was excellent. Drinks and food were served very quickly. Even the payment process – each family paid separately – went smoothly.

Delicious and friendly, but when I'm in Potsdam, I don't want a Bavarian restaurant. We were there with a large group and were served excellently.

We spontaneously went there today with 10 people. Even though the restaurant was completely full, the restaurant manager booked us a table. The food was good and arrived quickly. The entire restaurant was packed, down to the last seat. Nevertheless, the restaurant manager always made sure everything ran smoothly. They constantly checked in to see if everything was okay, and the entire team worked brilliantly. Thank you for this wonderful evening. We recommend you to others.

We visited the restaurant three days in a row, and on the last day it was really packed with two large groups. The staff was (despite this) very attentive, very polite, and charming. There was a friendly comment for each guest, and despite the full house, they tried to seat everyone well. The food is very good and plentiful. Highly recommended!!!

We were just in Potsdam for a day trip and stumbled upon the restaurant quite by chance. We're usually a bit skeptical about "train station restaurants," but that was completely unfounded. The cellar was nice and humorous, everything was clean, as far as I could see, and the food was simply delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back.

The German cuisine at this place is absolutely scrumptious! The staff is so welcoming, the outdoor seating area is lovely, and the interior is incredibly cozy with impeccably clean restrooms. Plus, they offer parking! I highly suggest checking out this restaurant.

The food was good and the service absolutely top-notch. No matter which of the gentlemen served us, everyone was friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit high for my taste, but still reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

The ambiance was without a doubt the best, and that's what it was. The food was rather average, nothing particularly special. They didn't serve farm-raised duck, and probably hadn't for a while. The staff were completely overwhelmed and seemed more like temporary workers. Waiters in lederhosen and dirndls would have been a nice eye-catcher, and a must-have in a Bavarian restaurant. The whole thing isn't really recommended!!!

Pros: Beautiful location, plenty of free parking, pleasant atmosphere, very fast, friendly staff Cons: Price/performance ratio €8.50 isn't reasonable for a small microwaved apple strudel, meaning a very hot apple inside and a cooler outer shell, and it's also hard. The small scoop of ice cream increases the price to €11. If it had been fresh, it would have been okay—but not for the microwaved stuff.

Rustic with modern charm. The location is beautiful and offers ample parking. The food is delicious and a bit pricey. Everything seems very clean. The staff was friendly, but dressed in casual clothes rather than work clothes and dirty from head to toe. It wasn't pleasant to see. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant, both inside and out.

Having passed by by chance a few weeks ago and found it interesting, we made the long journey from Berlin-Spandau today to see it up close. Let me just say it right away: we didn't regret the trip. Due to the temperatures, I opted for the sausage salad (without cheese 😜) and a non-alcoholic wheat beer; my companion chose half a duck and a shandy. The drinks were brought promptly; the food didn't take much longer and was brought by the young, very friendly, and ambitious staff. I sometimes call myself a "sausage salad specialist," so I can say that I've rarely eaten such a delicious sausage salad. The duck was also tender, juicy, and crispy enough; the red cabbage was also delicious, as were the dumplings. Conclusion: Good location, extremely friendly staff, and the food (as far as we ate it) was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

An ideal location for a restaurant, something of a 'tourist trap', the renovated station building next to the "Park Sanssouci" station is just a few minutes' walk from the "Posttor" to Sanssouci Park. Bavarian home-style cooking is served, prepared in the early 20th century by the gout-stricken and somewhat eccentric innkeeper Paul Ockhardt. Inside, there's an original station clock above the counter and dark wooden benches trimmed to look old. The Excellence Room with its coffered ceiling can be booked for family celebrations, etc. A corner room is to be converted into a kiosk, offering rolls and coffee in the morning. The covered terrace opposite the current station entrance can seat 120 guests, and the two outdoor areas can accommodate as many as 367 guests.

You say "grilled dishes" but don't have any. Okay. The sausages from the pan were still cold inside, maybe even raw. But no one cared for 20 minutes. Then I went to the waiter to pay the bill.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service! I was served by a very nice and polite gentleman. The Obazda (traditional pork sausage), wine, and especially the coffee were delicious.

Hopefully better next time...I stopped here on a bike ride. The beer garden is inviting in nice weather. As is often the case these days, there's a lack of staff. That's unfortunate. I waited over 40 minutes for my food, which was unfortunately below average. Very poorly presented, no salad garnish or anything like that. A shame...

A good restaurant. We arrived without a reservation as a group of twelve, and there were no problems eating, even though the establishment was practically full. The service was very good, especially Vittorio, an Italian waiter who speaks perfect Spanish and is very friendly. The food was excellent: the pork knuckle was exceptional, perfectly cooked inside and the crust was super crispy, the salads were perfect, and the apple strudel was delicious. Finding this restaurant was a success and a great idea. It has an outdoor terrace, but the temperature wasn't suitable for sitting outside; however, there were people eating there. 100% recommended.

A Sobering Visit to the Augustiner at Sanssouci Station Unfortunately, my visit to the Augustiner at Sanssouci Station was a bitter disappointment. Upon arrival, the staff seemed disorganized: The employees seemed to wander around aimlessly, seemed to be at odds with one another, and their tone was anything but professional. A particularly unpleasant impression was created by the lack of hygiene of some employees – in particular, the dirty fingernails and the condition of one waiter's teeth were hard to miss. This raises questions about the hotel's overall cleanliness and commitment to quality. The ambiance actually had potential – centrally located, with a lovely terrace – but with this level of service, it was difficult to enjoy the stay. Unfortunately, it wasn't a place I would want to return to.

Sehr schade für den Namen „Augustiner“. Bis auf das Bier ist leider nichts zu empfehlen. Das Essen hat offensichtlich mit bayrischer Küche, oder überhaupt mit kochen, wenig zu tun. Wir haben mit 10 Personen verschiedene Gerichte bestellt. Leider ist kein Gericht zu bewerten, einfach nur sehr schlecht. Ein Essen mussten wir auch zurück gehen lassen, es war kalt und ungenießbar. Alles nicht liebevoll oder mit Leidenschaft hergerichtet, vom Geschmack ganz zu schweigen. Wir kennen die Augustiner anders, und sind immer gern zu Gast, aber das ist ein Beispiel für absolute Unfähigkeit. Sehr ärgerlich….

Food was good, reasonably priced, service was extremely polite and helpful.

Nice beer garden if you want to quench your thirst. We can't recommend the food - the Wiener Schnitzel was frozen, the fries were good, but unsalted. Baked chicken - tasteless and way too much breading, cucumber and potato salad was good, but there was no taste of the pumpkin seed oil. The 53 euros were definitely too expensive for that. Service - skillfully looked past us after we had our drinks. After several waves and 40 minutes, a colleague was finally sent to us - saying: "they're sitting too far away" - even though the waiter with the drinks also "found" us. Ambiance is ok outside, we didn't see anything inside. So our conclusion - we won't go there anymore!!!

The Augustiner Biergarten in the old Sanscouci train station is a restaurant that specializes in Bavarian cuisine. The location is of course great and at first glance I was honestly worried that it might be quite a tourist trap so close to the new palace and the Sanscouci Castle stop. I still went with my wife and in the end I was very happy that I did it. It is very comfortable both inside and outside and there is plenty of space to sit. The service is often criticized here, which I cannot agree with. I found the service super nice. It took a while to get served, but after that it went pretty quickly. As the name suggests, there is freshly tapped Augustiner beer in different types and sizes, which is of course always delicious, especially in summer. I also really like the menu: not too overwhelming, but a good selection and although there is traditional German cuisine, there are also one or two vegetarian options. I had cheese spaetzle and my wife had beef goulash. Both were really good. I thought it was nice that the spaetzle included melted onions in addition to the obligatory fried onions. I also had a salad that was surprisingly tasty and fresh. I also liked the subtle dressing and the fact that he wasn't drowned in it. Only the bowl was perhaps a bit small so that it could be eaten properly without anything falling out the side. For dessert we had apple strudel. You can adapt it relatively individually and, for example, upgrade it with ice cream and vanilla sauce, which is what we did. But that also becomes a little more expensive, because the scoop of ice cream alone costs €2.50. But the dessert tasted really great and was easily enough for both of us. Overall, I think the prices for the location are fair. Didn't have the feeling that tourists were being lured away here. So we were very satisfied and will definitely come back. It's nice that, in addition to all the Ossi cuisine, there is also a restaurant here with good Bavarian food. I can recommend the beer garden for both tourists and locals.

Too bad. It used to be a great place to enjoy good Bavarian cuisine. Service is now underground... Nobody cares about the guest. We literally had to beg to be allowed to order something! The prices are no longer comprehensible. The pure schnitzel without a side dish for €18 is pretty cheeky. We won't be coming back...

Very good food and top service.

The beer garden is nice, the staff is friendly. But that was about it in terms of positive things. We (3 people) had 2x schnitzel with asparagus and 1x knuckle. The knuckle was good, but for over 22 euros it was just knuckle with some cabbage and sauce. Not even a potato or dumpling. You would have had to order extra and of course pay extra. The schnitzels were frozen goods. The asparagus was a decent portion, but the hollandaise sauce was thin, very light and not appetizing. The brown butter was a big lump of breadcrumbs in cheap shortening. All in all, it didn't justify the price of a whopping 39 euros per serving. The price-performance ratio here is not right at all and in the end we were annoyed that we ate there. The beautiful beer garden alone doesn't do it.
