Augustiner Bräu in München

Typical Bavarian tavern, typical and excellent cuisine with a tasty flavour. Fast service (but you have to consider that we went in the afternoon). We took the shank and cutlet with pratzel and cheese breading.

Due to lack of available seats we were directed to the bar. It worked out for us, the server was attentive. We looked at our neighbor's plate and placed a similar order as the dish seemed so appetizing. We had some, it was delicious. Very warm place.

A typically Bavarian brewery, with delicious food and perfect beer. Our attendant was friendly. You can just drink or have dinner, share a table, sit outside or inside the brewery. In short, there is something for all tastes and ages.

The Augustiner Bräu is a typical Munich restaurant with very, very good, down-to-earth cuisine. I ordered half a duck and got 2/4 duck instead which was more than enough for one person. In terms of taste, the meat of the duck was buttery tender and almost fell off the bone and was really an experience for the palate. By the way, the price-performance ratio here is more than reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

We often come here for lunch and enjoy the offerings on the lunch menu.

Went in quickly at lunchtime, just managed to get a spot (please reserve) and then just felt good! Lunch dish was Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle. Sensational!! My wife had duck with red cabbage and dumplings, also sensational!! And fresh halfs from the tap, what more could you want? Yes, of course, Kaiserschmarrn... and that made the visit perfect!! Thanks!

The food is delicious, the Bavarian breakfast is delicious and the service is excellent.

Unfortunately very disappointing, the cellar couldn't answer a question about what was served, the dumplings were very dry and with ketchup, and in the end the wrong wine was charged

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Augustiner Bräu in Munich, Germany and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The Brau itself is steeped in history and tradition, dating back to 1328, and you can feel the sense of heritage as soon as you step inside. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with a wonderful mix of locals and tourists all coming together to enjoy some incredible beer. The food at Augustiner Bräu also exceeded my expectations. The traditional Bavarian dishes were not only hearty and satisfying, but also incredibly flavorful. I highly recommend trying the schnitzel it was simply mouthwatering. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The staff were happy to provide recommendations which were spot on. Overall, Augustiner Bräu left a lasting impression on me and I can't wait to return. If you find yourself in Munich, I highly recommend visiting this place for a true taste of Bavarian hospitality and some of the best beer you'll ever have. Prost!

Schnelle, zuvorkommend Bedienungen. Sehr aufmerksam. Gut bürgerliches Gasrhaus wie man es von früher noch kennt. Familiäres Ambiente. Kommen gerne wieder.

Super Bavarian food with a good variety of drinks.

Es un restaurant bar de comida tradicional alemana. Se puede disfrutar de una buena cerveza. El servicio no es muy bueno, te atienden rápido para tener la mesa disponible para los que siguen. Es apto para grupos grandes. Tienen buenos precios

Auf Empfehlung unserer Kinder ( waren im April in München) haben wir den Görreshof besucht. Uriges Münchner Lokal mit Biergarten. Wir fanden die Atmosphäre und die Bewirtung sehr gut. Das Lokal selbst haben erst zum Schluss gesehen als wir bezahlt haben. Für uns ( wir lieben solch anheimelnde Wirtschaften) ein schöner Abend zum Abschluss des Tages. Vielen Dank an die Betreiber und alle die dort wirken! Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!!!

Kann man machen, muss aber nicht sein! Frida Kahlo Ausstellung um die Ecke, welche auch kein Highlight ist. Alles in Allem....bassd scho, aber keine Wiederholung!

Schöner großer Biergarten. Service ist nett, Essen kommt schnell und ist auch gut. Die Ochsenfetzen sind sehr zu empfehlen!
