Super Atmosphäre… nette und schnelle Bedienung… Essen gut und Bier sowieso… jeden zu empfehlen . Immer ein Besuch wert.

Super nice waitress, she was pretty too... good food, good inexpensive light beer under 5 euros... what more could you want... would love to come back... Had dinner again today. It probably wasn't the cook's day. Liver dumpling soup was fantastic, (a bit cold) brawn with fried potatoes worked like this. I didn't eat despite being hungry. Aspic had a strange aftertaste, fried potatoes tasted burnt, were not cooked and were ok. Low salt is my taste. Remoulade is very tasty. Can you really do better?

The service was good and friendly. The liver dumpling soup was okay, the Kaiserschmarrn was not good, extremely fatty and gritty. I don't have to repeat it.

Typical Bavarian restaurant food is great

The "new" Augustiner is just as successful as the "old" one, which is currently being rebuilt. Delicious Bavarian cuisine and good Augustiner beers. And sitting there with a view of the Frauenkirche (also outside in summer), that's a beautiful view.

Today we had a very nice evening in the Augustiner Dresden restaurant. The service is very attentive and friendly. The dishes are very rich and tasty. The price/performance ratio is consistent and corresponds to today's conditions.

Allergen cards are not taken seriously here. I ate in the restaurant twice. First visit, ordered gluten-free dish ox cheeks according to the menu. Mashed potatoes were garnished with fried onions (breaded in flour and deep fried). I was able to complain and received a new portion. Ok, that can happen, I thought. Second visit, ordered gluten-free potato soup according to the menu. I asked again when ordering and was assured that it was gluten-free. Mostly eaten and found spaetzle at the bottom of the soup. I have a severe gluten allergy and now have to suffer the consequences. Restaurant is not recommended for those with intolerances. Please train the kitchen and staff immediately and give them proper instructions.

The best (and freshest) food we could find in Dresden. Clean, fragrant, tasty. The crowd is not surprising and the place definitely deserves more stars. The staff could use a bit of a smile and less rudeness (especially when pointing to the table), but it's definitely worth it for the meals themselves.

We were there between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Food was very tasty.

The beer is delicious and the food is delicious too. In particular, be sure to eat the white sausage soaked in water.

This is a German restaurant where I had a very delicious meal. The beer was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

The location is large, cozy, modern and furnished with a typical Augustinian touch. The location is still great, especially in summer, the restaurant has a lot of outside seating and the view of the Frauenkirche sweetens the stay. The staff is mostly friendly, unfortunately there are still a few people who make you feel unwanted (maybe you've had a really bad day). However, service has always been quick and attentive. The food has improved significantly, which makes me personally happy. It doesn't quite meet the price-performance ratio, but such prices can now be found everywhere.

A typical drinking hall that understands good cuisine. I've been there many times and will be back again. Only the service could do their job a little more attentively. If you have to make an effort to get a beer, then you should definitely work it out...

The food we got was very good, but the service was worse than bad. We arrived with a stroller to a fairly empty restaurant and needed a table for two. We were told we could sit anywhere. After we sat down we were told that this was the regulars' table and that it had to remain free. A waiter suggested the big table next door where we sat down, but at that moment another waiter told us not to take the big table please. So we went upstairs and sat down where we were asked again if we wanted to change tables. Mind you, there was really almost nothing going on. We insisted on staying at this table. We ordered starters and main courses, and the starters came relatively quickly too. They were really tasty too. Unfortunately nothing happened after that. After at least 40-50 minutes we asked and were told the order had been forgotten. We then left without eating the main course. An apology was made, but that was it. I wouldn't eat here again. From the beginning I didn't feel welcome here. By the way, no one was sitting at the regulars' table, just like at the other table, the whole time.

If you like Bavarian ambience, food and beer, this is the place for you. Due to the location, it is also a bit more expensive. A bit touristy. Service is not really Bavarian, but very nice!

The bathroom was clean, spacious, and had many compartments. (Toilets are located in the basement, around the corner where there is a sign and down the stairs) I waited patiently in the waiting area with the store door open. One brown-haired male employee kept looking at his phone and seemed annoyed at work. Even though my group member thanked us kindly from the moment we were shown to our seats, there was no response. They threw the menu on the table. They even threw a coaster for the drink cups haha. I think your original style is chic. It's not that it's unfriendly, but it's not friendly either. Something bothered me, so I watched the whole meal. The schnitzel was okay, but you forgot to season the Haksen sauce. It was so tasty. Still, the black-haired male employee who paid the bill was friendly. I don't think it's worth visiting to eat. I recommend not going..

Very typical Augustiner experience that you can find in most big German towns and cities. Great service, great food, and a busy, bustling, atmosphere. It seems to be busy all day so maybe try and book in advance.

I went right after it opened, but most of the seats were reserved, so there were few seats available without a reservation. The beer was truly the best in the world. The alcohol content is high, so drink slowly... Sausage and schnitzel are both flavors that don't exist in Korea. It was great, but the store was a little cold. The server was very kind and helped me order.

A typical, touristy, German pub restaurant. We were there mid-afternoon. The food took a while to arrive and the service was very, very slow. The food was quite good but I would go elsewhere if I had to do it again.

The roast was very lightly seasoned, had hardly any sauce and was very dry. Really a shame for the price. The attentive waitress noticed this and kindly offered to add more sauces. However, there is an additional charge (which I only found out by asking)…

After a short wait, we got a table for dinner on Friday evening, without a reservation. The food was ok, unfortunately when I roasted the crust I had significantly more crust than meat. Very attentive service despite the restaurant being completely full.

I had weisswurst, schnitzel, and beer. The sausage has a good texture and smells good. I think the sauce that comes with it goes better than salty mayonnaise. The schnitzel was also delicious. I drank lager and dark beer, and there was no unpleasant smell. The server was also friendly.

I stayed in Dresden for 4 days and visited this restaurant twice. The staff provided excellent service, credit cards are accepted, and I recommend making a reservation in advance.

When I first arrived, there were no seats so I was shown to a bar table, but when I sat down, it felt like it was too narrow to eat. I asked if there were any other seats available, and they informed me that it was a reserved seat, but that there was still room for me to sit if I ate and left on time. Since I had to leave quickly, I was told that they would take my order right away and serve the food quickly, and unlike other restaurants in Germany, the food came out quickly, so I was able to spend a good time with my mom. I said thank you as I left the store, but the kindness they showed me remained in my heart and I left a review. Thank you again to the male staff member who was on the first floor on the evening of December 29th. When I first arrived, I was guided to the bar table because there was no seat, but when I sat down, I felt it was small to eat. I asked if there were any other seats available. They told me that there are seats reserved but if I eat earlier than the reservation time, I can sit down. He said he would take orders right away and give us food quickly because we have to leave quickly. Unlike other restaurants in Germany, the food came out quickly. Thanks to this, I was able to have a good time with my mom. I thanked him when I left the store, but I still remember his kindness and leave a review. The Augustiner at the Frauenkirche Dresden brings Bavarian beer, food culture and furnishings to Saxony. We had Obatzder as a snack and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. Obatzder was good and more than generous in quantity. Fresh bread was also included (including additional delivery upon request). The Kaiserschmarrn was more than excellent - simply a dream! 🤩🤩🤩 Caramelized, as it should be, rarely served like that. We came back two days later just for the Kaiserschmarrn 😁 - that says it all! Service was top: Bavarian fast and friendly. Preparation time for Kaiserschmarrn: approx. 20 minutes.

The location is great and the food was okay. The duck was good but not outstanding. The pork knuckle was a bit dry compared with what we had in Munich or Prague. The service was surprisingly bad for lunch time. No smile, no thank you when we paid, no apologies even though it took them a long time to bring the food out.

The Dresden branch of the Augustiner brewery? It's that kind of restaurant. As expected from a beer restaurant, they have a variety of beers. The food was really delicious and they were friendly. The food has a cheerful atmosphere. Because it is in a good location. We recommend that you make a reservation in advance. It's a popular restaurant. Augustiner is a famous brewery in Munich that also participates in Oktoberfest, and it seems to have a branch in Dresden. I've also been to Augustiner Keller in Munich, and I think the beer here tastes better. Especially Helles is really delicious. Haksen also sells half sizes, so you don’t have to worry about it. Card payments are accepted, and a tip is required.

We had reserved for the 3rd weekend of Advent (recommended) and had a great evening. Very good menu and delicious food. The service was great👍. The visit to the restaurant rounded off our Christmas market stroll 🎄🎅🥂. We'll be back, not just at Christmas 😇👌

Opposite the Church of the Virgin Mary, in the corner of the tenement house, there is an interesting restaurant "Augustiner an der Frauenkirche". Waiters and waitresses are dressed in regional costumes and the atmospheric restaurant serves traditional dishes. Worth trying is the Saxon potato soup with smoked bacon and slices of sausage (€6.90) or the roast pork with Bavarian cabbage and bread dumplings (€19.90).

If you don't make a reservation, you can sit at the bar table. They never took the orders of the customers around us, including us, and it was a miracle that we even met the server. And as soon as I got the beer, the sound 18 came out. This photo was taken right after receiving the beer without even taking a sip. I was confused and asked if this was correct, but the server had already gone. There are many delicious places in Schweinhaksen. Don't go ㄹㅇ

One star because no star doesn't work. Why? A waiter's behavior, despite the positive impressions of his colleagues, gives me a disastrous conclusion: He stands in the dining room and is constantly active with his fingers on his face: picking his nose, cleaning the spaces between his teeth with his fingernail do and otherwise rub/scratch around your mouth. What would the health department probably say after the instruction on the subject of handling open food? I definitely don't want to be served by one person no matter what! I find that disgusting and disgusting. My conclusion: never again.

Very delicious beer, delicious dishes and a fantastic view of the Frauenkirche.

I ordered a half-size salad and hakseon. I ate it all by myself and was very full. It's a good atmosphere for eating alone, and a local person next to me also ate leisurely. The Haksen had the right texture on the outside, but it was overly hard on the outside (Is this what the original is like?) Fortunately, it was soft on the inside, so it was okay, and the sauce was a bit bitter. Overall, the taste was disappointing considering the price. There is an advantage of being able to taste local food.

Very friendly service. I would have expected the 1/2 knuckle to be larger, so I would recommend the crusty roast, which was very plentiful. Plus Augustiner precious material, what more could you want!

We ate here for our Christmas party. The food was very good and the service was attentive and friendly. We (almost) all had to complain about the huge portion sizes, starting with the very large starters (e.g. the cucumber salad) through the main courses and almost all the desserts. We had the main courses packed, which wasn't a problem, but starters and desserts were usually returned half full.

Everyone was satisfied except for one employee who paid the bill at the end. We went to a restaurant recommended during the tour. The clerk at the checkout said they didn't accept credit cards, so I gave them cash (they normally accept credit cards, but they're terrible at us), but they didn't give me change, so when I asked for it, they opened their wallets to show me that they didn't have any coins, so I gave them the change and asked for 1 euro, so they just put 1 euro on the table and gave me the rest. They didn't take my money and they ignored me asking for a receipt. I tried to put up with waiting an hour for my food to come out, but I felt so bad when I paid, so this is my first time writing a review.

A group of us dined here while in Dresden for the Christmas markets. We all really enjoyed the food and the great atmosphere. I had the cheese soup and the original Wiener schnitzel, both of which were delicious. My friends had the stuffed schnitzel and loved it. Portions are very generous and we left feeling very full. Service was also really friendly.

We were warmly welcomed by a super nice service person. Unfortunately everything on the ground floor was full so we were kindly directed to the first floor of the restaurant. There is a lift that you can take if you are not too good on foot. There was also a friendly waitress on the 2nd floor who showed us straight to a table. A little later she came to take our drinks and food. We both had Nuremberg bratwurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Just super delicious.👍 The menu is very diverse. We like to come and can recommend it to others.
