Tolles Cafe! Das Frühstück ist super lecker und es gibt eine breite Auswahl an Speisen. Perfekt für größere Gruppen. Für Kinder gibt es einen Spielplatz.

Ausgesprochen freundliche Bedienung, ein wunderhübsches Plätzchen, wo man auch sehr gepflegt draußen essen kann -zum Frühstücksbuffet finde ich dort nur ein Wort: Grandios! Es lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Wir waren schon einmal zum Frühstück im Cafe . Da das Frühstück gut war wollten wir das Schnitzel probieren Leider ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis beim freitags stattfindenden Schnitzeltag, der explizit beworben wird , schlecht. Die Schnitzel waren nicht knusprig nur lauwarm. Die Panade war ganz sicher nicht frisch, sie war lätschig. Die Pommes lagen tatsächlich nebeneinander auf dem Teller und waren kalt. Die gesamte Portion war sehr übersichtlich. . Nachdem ich diese reklamiert hatte und zehn Minuten später neue Pommes bekam , mein Schnitzel hatte ich zu dem Zeitpunkt schon gegessen ansonsten wäre es ganz kalt gewesen sagte die Kellnerin ich solle die Pommes als Nachtisch betrachten. Ich habe es leider versäumt vor unserem Besuch die Kritiken zu lesen. ..Die Antworten auf die Kritiken der Gäste,die offenbar die gleiche Wahrnehmung haben wie wir, ist einfach nur sehr wenig kundenorientiert und unprofessionell. Sehr schade. Die Antworten auf Kritik sagt schon sehr viel aus. Offensichtlich kommen so viele Tagesgäste dass Stammkunden einen geringeren Stellenwert haben. Sehr ,sehr schade Nachtrag Juli 26: Wenn man die Kommentare des Inhabers liest weiß man schon woran man ist. Offensichtlich legt man in dem Unternehmen keinen Wert auf konstruktive Kritik. Schade

Das Auffelder Bauerncafe ist ein charmantes Restaurant mit einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Die Speisen sind hausgemacht, lecker und die Portionen großzügig. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein perfekter Ort für eine entspannte Mahlzeit in ländlicher Umgebung. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir waren am 23.04.2026 zu zweit im Auffelder Bauerncafé und sind leider SEHR enttäuscht wieder gegangen. Wir waren in der Vergangenheit mehrfach dort, umso irritierender war der gestrige Ablauf. Nach unserer Ankunft gegen 18:10 haben wir rund 15 Minuten gewartet, bis eine Bedienung an unseren Tisch kam. Danach dauerte es weitere etwa 10 Minuten, bis Getränke serviert wurden. Bei der Essensbestellung wies uns die männliche Bedienung, vermutlich der Betreiber, auf humorvolle Weise darauf hin, dass das Essen heute auch „ein paar Stunden“ dauern könne, weil es sehr voll sei. Wir haben das als Scherz beziehungsweise als freundlichen Hinweis auf eine gewisse Wartezeit verstanden. Nach weiteren ca. 45 Minuten war das bestellte Essen noch immer nicht serviert und es war zwischenzeitlich keine Bedienung am Tisch. Deshalb haben wir ruhig, freundlich und vorallem diskret bei einer weiblichen Bedienung direkt an unserem Tisch nachgefragt, wie lange es noch dauern würde. Es gab von unserer Seite weder eine laute Beschwerde noch eine Diskussion. Kurz darauf wurde uns seitens der erwähnten männlichen Bedienung statt einer kurzen Erklärung oder Entschuldigung mitgeteilt, es seien „erst 44 Minuten“ vergangen und wir wurden sofort mit den Worten „ich bitte Sie, nie mehr wiederzukommen“ vom Grundstück verwiesen. Wir haben darauf nicht diskutiert, sondern sind nach dem Bezahlen wortlos gegangen. Für uns war diese Reaktion völlig unverhältnismäßig und total überzogen. Wartezeiten können in der Gastronomie vorkommen, gerade wenn es voll ist. Entscheidend ist aber der Umgang damit. Eine normale, diskrete Nachfrage eines Gastes sollte aus unserer Sicht nicht zu einer solchen Eskalation führen. Besonders schade: Wir hatten an diesem Abend eigentlich Grund zum Feiern. Der Abend war danach aber vollständig verdorben. Wer sich vor einem Besuch informieren möchte, sollte sich auch unbedingt die Antworten und erneute Hausverbote des Betreibers auf kritische Rezensionen ansehen. Dort findet man aus unserer Sicht wiederholt beleidigende, herabwürdigende und persönlich angreifende Formulierungen gegenüber Gästen. Sollte nun auch auf diese Bewertung die erwartbare scharfe Betreiberantwort folgen, darf sie gerne für sich selbst sprechen. Für uns war es jedenfalls der letzte Besuch!

Diesmal waren wir mit Freunden da, wieder alles super.Man muss aber unbedingt reservieren.

Wir haben die freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung und das sehr gute Essen in einem schönen Ambiente genossen.

Ein sehr freundliches Café. Das Frühstücksbüfet stets frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Selbstgemachte Brote, Kuchen etc, wir waren mega begeistert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ein inhabergeführte, sehr gemütliches Bauernhöfe, mit einem breiten Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Absolut gutes Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal (Chef ist immer gut drauf😅). Alles was wir bestellten ist Geschmacklich sehr gut. Einfach alles zu empfehlen. Frühstück in sehr guter Qualität, kaum zu übertreffen. Warm Essen und Kuchen einfach gut👍.

Sehr abgelegen. Schade, dass wir, obwohl wir eine Stunde vor Ladenschluss da waren, nichts mehr zu essen bekamen. Die Bedienung entschuldigte sich zwar sehr, aber das reichte nicht, denn wir mussten ja gehen. Daher können wir das Essen nicht bewerten.

Lecker und geradeaus…und zudem mit Spielplatz und unser Pferd steht auch dort

Trotz einer Menge Trubel an Pfingsten,sehr nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen.

Insgesamt zufrieden Aber die Stühle im aussehen Bereich unbequem. Das Essen war für die Preis Kategorie etwas zu wenig. Aber hat geschmeckt Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und paprika sosse. Beilagen Salat zu fade. ( Und dafür 6 € ) Spargelkrem Suppe schmeckt eher nach Sahne . Aber das Weizen war sehr lecker.

Wir waren zum 3 Mal da . Ambiente und Essen waren sehr gut. Leider waren die Wartezeiten auf die Bedienung, die Speisekarte und das Essen deutlich zu lang. Trotzdem insgesamt ein gutes Restaurant mit Verbesserungspotenzial beim Service.

Bei vollem Haus etwas überfordert. Cola 7x bestellt bis eine serviert wurde. Vergessenes Schnitzel wurde in einer Schale nachgereicht ähnlich einem Hundenapf. Steak war durchgebraten. Wasser kommt aus dem Sodastream.

Der Ort liegt wunderschön im Grünen,es gibt für Eltern mit Kleinkindern einen schönen Spielplatz,das Personal ist super Nett 👍👍 und Hunde sind auch willkommen.Das was wir gegessen haben war super lecker 🍴🍴. Wir können das Bauernkaffee nur empfehlen👍👍

Sehr schönes Bauerncafe in einer alten Scheune. Tolles Ambiente und super Service. Das Personal war stets freundlich und sehr schnell. Die Speisen wurden zügig gebracht und haben vollends überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben hier heute großartig gegessen und im Zelt im Biergarten gesessen. Der Spargel war perfekt gegart, der Kuchen super lecker. 😋

Super tollee Laden, der Service ist Top, das Essen schmeckt gut, es gibt jede Menge selbstgemachte Kuchen, die Anlage total schön und gut gepflegt und vor allen Dingen für Familie mit kleinen Kinder gibt im Vorhof einen tollen Spielplatz. Wir kommen definitiv öfters vorbei:)

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort, gute Auswahl, geschmacklich gut. Leider war es sehr laut, da eine große Geburtstagsgesellschaft direkt neben uns saß, aber das ist wohl normal dort. Leider hat der Service durch die große Gesellschaft etwas gegenüber dem was wir dort gewohnt sind, etwas gelitten.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal aber ziemlich teuer. Zu Stoßzeiten ist es sehr voll insbesondere im gartenlokal.

Karfreitag ist immer ein gutes Fischbuffet.

Wir sind eigentlich immer sehr gerne hierher gekommen, um einen gemütlichen Nachmittag bei Kaffee und Kuchen zu verbringen. Nach längerer Zeit waren wir heute mal wieder da – leider war der Besuch dieses Mal ein absoluter Totalausfall. Wir waren mit der Oma (94 Jahre) und unserer Tochter (1½ Jahre) dort. Schon der Empfang war enttäuschend: Kein „Hallo“, keine Begrüßung – stattdessen direkt die Frage: „Was wollen Sie trinken?“ Eine Karte wurde uns gar nicht erst angeboten. Die Kuchenauswahl mussten wir uns vorne selbst anschauen. Der Kuchen kam dann zum Tisch, der Kaffee jedoch noch nicht. Normalerweise kommt das Getränk vor dem Essen – oder man sagt zumindest kurz Bescheid, dass der Kaffee gleich noch folgt. Erst eine andere Bedienung brachte ihn später. Für unsere Tochter hatten wir noch eine Waffel bestellt, die ebenfalls erst nach Nachfrage kam – und dann von der dritten Bedienung. Auch ein einfaches „Guten Appetit“ blieb aus. Der Kuchen war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Während wir unseren Kaffee noch tranken, wurden die Teller bereits abgeräumt – ohne Nachfrage, ob es geschmeckt hat. Insgesamt hatten wir während des gesamten Besuchs das Gefühl, nicht wirklich willkommen zu sein. Das war besonders schade, da der Raum bis auf einen weiteren Tisch leer war. Unter diesen Umständen kann sich das Haus wirklich glücklich schätzen, noch von seinem Namen und den Veranstaltungen zu profitieren, die dort stattfinden. Für uns persönlich ist es so leider keine erste Wahl mehr.

Alles wie immer - ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Immer wieder sehr gerne.

Simply fantastic!! We celebrated our wedding here and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious and of high quality, and there were even tasty options for vegans and vegetarians. Plus, the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable for such great quality. Highly recommended!!

We've been to the cafe for breakfast before. Since the breakfast was good, we wanted to try the schnitzel. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio on Fridays, which is explicitly advertised as Schnitzel Day, is poor. The schnitzels weren't crispy, just lukewarm. The breading was definitely not fresh; it was soggy. The fries were actually lying next to each other on the plate and were cold. The entire portion was very small. . After I complained about them and received new fries ten minutes later (I had already eaten my schnitzel by then, otherwise it would have been cold), the waitress told me to consider the fries as dessert. Unfortunately, I neglected to read the reviews before our visit. . The responses to the reviews from guests, who apparently have the same perception as us, are simply very uncustomer-oriented and unprofessional. It's a shame. The responses to the reviews say a lot. Apparently, so many day visitors come that regular customers are less valued. Very, very sad

TOP! Superb breakfast buffet and other food options highly recommended.

A typical rustic farmhouse café with the appropriate coziness. At least inside, you sit quite close together. The service is sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Drinks arrived quickly, but after we asked to pay, it took 15 minutes for someone to take the money. And it wasn't particularly busy at that time. The prices on the menu were okay; the onion cake, which wasn't listed there—beautifully presented, a large slice with a side salad—cost €14. I've never had to pay that price anywhere else, and I think it's completely excessive. Even though it was delicious and specially prepared by the chef (which is why you only get the onion cake after the kitchen opens). Why do you have to pay for vegetables if you didn't order them? The breakfast buffet looked quite lavish and appealing, but it's supposed to cost €23. Sure, costs are high in restaurants these days, and you have to pay more than a few years ago, but somehow, in my opinion, the value for money at the Auffelder Bauerncafe isn't right. I know of other comparable places that do good work and are affordable.

A fairly small portion ("medium pork") for quite a lot of money. Elsewhere, you'd pay roughly the same for comparable quality, but get a side salad with the schnitzel. Here, you're charged an additional €5.50 for that. The schnitzel looked like it came from an air fryer—quite pale, not golden brown as you'd expect. It was also quite pink inside. The fried potatoes were okay, but not much, and strangely, there were no bacon or onions?!? That's exactly what I would have expected from a farmer's café...

There's a lovely beer garden, the staff is very friendly, and there's a very extensive menu. The cake is also highly recommended.

After a long bike ride, we stopped here. A lovely café with a wide selection of cakes, all very tasty. They also offer a wide range of hot dishes. We sat outside in the beer garden in glorious sunshine and enjoyed the delicious cakes and friendly service. This certainly won't be our last visit.

I had breakfast at the Auffelder Bauerncafé, and I absolutely loved it! Everything was fresh, the selection was extensive, and it tasted absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the staff – very attentive and friendly, as was the manager. A highly recommended place, and I'd love to return.

The boss should go back to training to learn how to deal with customers. Simply abysmal. Never again.

It's a typical farmhouse café in the countryside, but decorated with exceptional care. The spacious outdoor area is particularly impressive.

Today, on a Sunday afternoon, we, as a family with children, visited the Auffelder Bauerncafe for the first time in a long time. The cake was as delicious as ever, but unfortunately, the prices have risen significantly; a slice of sheet cake without cream now costs €5. So, as a family of four, we paid around €40(!) for coffee and cake, including tips. The clientele is accordingly selective and, at least today, appeared to be primarily composed of rather well-off people in their second half of life. That's perfectly fine and certainly makes business sense, but in our opinion, it's anything but family-friendly.

We were full of anticipation at the Aufelder Bauerncafé – and were completely disappointed. We started with a non-alcoholic beer, which turned out to be a pilsner. When we pointed out that it wasn't what we'd ordered, we were met with a shrug: "It happens." No apology, no replacement – nothing. Then the food: We waited over 90 minutes. In a café that was half empty, it was completely incomprehensible. The waiters? Disinterested, inattentive, and overwhelmed. No one came to our table of their own accord, no one asked if we wanted anything else or how long we'd been waiting. Communication = nonexistent. When we finally calmly and politely expressed our criticism, the waiter approached us in a manner we'd never experienced before – aggressive, rude, almost physically harassing. For a café that claims to be "family-friendly," that's simply unbelievable. We left without dessert, without another drink, and definitely without a smile. Anyone who values hospitality, good service, and respect should steer clear of this café. Conclusion: Never again. This experience ruined our day.

Very shady business behavior on the part of the boss, not to call it a rip-off. On February 15th, 2024 my table reservation for 20 people for June 30th, 2024 was confirmed in writing with a price of €19.50. On the day of the event, the boss charges the price of €23.50 per person. After I asked, he explained to me that this was the usual procedure because he had raised the prices in the meantime. For me, this is a borderline approach, if not beyond a legal basis, but this can certainly be clarified by third parties afterwards.

The food is supposed to be good, they say. I couldn't convince myself of that. I entered the café and walked up to a sign that read: "Please wait. You will be seated." If I had waited, I would still be standing there today. So, after a few minutes of waiting, I preferred to spend my money elsewhere. I would have preferred a clear statement like, "We're sorry, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any more guests at this time." I find it disrespectful to be ignored in the hope that the guest will leave on their own.

Highly recommended. Delicious regional food, very friendly and attentive service, and a lovingly rustic-modern ambiance. You can't help but feel at home there. The value for money is just right, definitely not overpriced. It's child- and dog-friendly!

Regulars are given priority when it comes to tables and ordering. As a new customer, you have to be significantly more patient, and if you make a fuss, you'll get a reprimand from the waiter.

Update after 7 years: After waiting 1.5 hours for our food and reminding the seemingly overwhelmed staff four times, we gave up. When we wanted to pay, we were surprised to hear a question about canceling the meal! We considered it rhetorical. And no, it wasn't too busy. Completely normal business. Simply overwhelmed staff who didn't even think it was appropriate to apologize. A shame, and unfortunately not worth another visit.

This also needs updating! We always enjoy going to Auffelder, especially on Schnitzel Day. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, and especially the management—there are no words to describe it! I was there for the first time today, actually just to have a piece of cake. But then I had a really delicious meal and then some cake for dessert. Highly recommended, and we'll be back.

Normal breakfast, not extravagant but everything you need. However, it is advisable to make a reservation because unfortunately, twice now, the terrace was closed for breakfast despite the great weather. This means that the number of guests is of course limited.

We were here for the second time today. The first time we ate the very rich breakfast buffet. Everything was fresh, the bread was an absolute hit and there was nothing else to complain about. Today the three of us spontaneously came here after a bike ride. We ate the delicious schnitzels. The owner is very nice and has an easy-going manner, and the rest of the staff were also friendly. The café itself is furnished with great attention to detail. We didn't try the cakes but we will do so. We'll definitely be back. We also think the prices are totally okay. Thank you for a delicious refreshment after our bike tour.

Reservation for 10 people 3 weeks ago for Good Friday for breakfast. Reservation was accepted and confirmed with phone number. We stood in front of closed doors at 10 a.m. this morning. Then I stood there with my guests. We will definitely no longer recommend this store.

Hallo zusammen. Unsere Familie geht fast jeden Donnerstag oder Freitag, sowie gerne auch am Wochenende ins gemütliche Bauerncafe. Und das seit mehreren Jahren. Ich kann diese Örtlichkeit nur jedem empfehlen, wenn man gutbürgerliche Küche mag. Hier sollte man auch ein Auge auf die Gerichte werfen, welche auf einer großen Tafel vor dem Eingang oder in der Nähe der Theke platziert ist. Es ist immer für jeden etwas dabei und natürlich auch für die kleinen Gäste. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und haben immer ein paar Minuten Zeit sich mit den Gästen zu unterhalten. Wir sind regelmäßig im Auffelder Bauerncafe und ich bin fast immer vollkommen zufrieden. Man muss bedenken dass es sich um ein familiengeführtes Ausflugscafe handelt. Die Speisekarte ist seit Jahren gleich und bietet eine überschaubare Auswahl an Gerichten. Zusätzlich sollte man unbedingt die Tageskarte beachten! Hier sind auf Wandtafeln saisonale Gerichte aufgeführt. Hervorzuheben ist noch die wunderbare Bewirtung.

Ich schließe mich dem 65 jährigen RS an. Auch ich hätte es nicht für möglich gehalten, mal so auf das Unhöflichste behandelt zu werden. Der Oberkellner, der sich als Geschäftsführer ausgab, ist arrogant und offenbar aggressiv in der Art, dass er sich nicht unter Kontrolle hat. Auf mich wirkte der wie ein Schlägertyp vor der Disko, wo er meiner Meinung nahc auch besser hinpasst als in ein solches Café. Ich rate jedem dringend von einem Besuch des Auffleder Bauerncafés ab. Denn wenn man ins Café geht, möchte man ja freundlich beeint werden. Seine Arroganz zeigte er auf folgende Weise: Auf meine Bestellung "Tönisvorster Apfelsaft", was ich in der Karte zeigte, wurde ich von oben herab nach Preis und Zusatzstoffen gefragt, was sich als Verarschung rausstellte. Da stellt sich mir die Frage: Warum fragt der Blödmann dann? Und dazu in einer sehr arroganten Weise und von oben herab. Als meine Eltern sich zu mir an den Tisch setzen wollten, sagte er, sie müssen warten, bis sie dran kämen. Darauf sagte ich, dass ich vorher schon gesagt hatte, dass meine Eltern nachkommen. Daran konnte sich der Kellner nicht erinnern. Kein Wunder bei so einem Verhalten. Kein Gedächtnis und Knigge ist ihm auch fremd. Als meine Eltern sich nicht setzen durften, sind wir gegangen. Eine Unverschämtheit sondergleichen stellt das Verhalten diese Kellners dar. Ich glaube auch nicht, dass er der Geschäftsführer ist, denn ein Geschäftsführer verhält sich anders, weil er weiß: Der Kunde ist König. Ich glaube auch wie RS, dass es dem Laden zu gut geht und sie es sich erlauben können, ordentliche Gäste rauszuekeln. Wir waren bis jetzt Stammgäste, aber heute war es definitiv das letzte Mal.

To me he seemed like a thug in front of a disco, where in my opinion he fits in better than in a café like this. I strongly advise everyone not to visit the Auffelder Bauerncafé. Because when you go to a café, you want to be served in a friendly manner. He showed his arrogance in the following way: When I ordered "Tönisvorster apple juice", which I showed on the menu, I was asked condescendingly about the price and additives, which turned out to be a joke. Because when I politely gave him the information - unlike this waiter, I have a good manners - he said: "It's enough if you say apple juice". The question arises: why is the idiot asking? And in a very arrogant and condescending manner. When my parents wanted to sit down at the table with me, he said they had to wait their turn. I then said that I had already said that my parents would come. The waiter couldn't remember that. No wonder with such behavior. He has no memory and etiquette is also foreign to him. When my parents weren't allowed to sit down, we left. The behavior of this waiter is unparalleled insolence. I also don't believe that he is the managing director, because a managing director behaves differently because he knows: the customer is king. I think the place is doing too well and they can afford to drive out decent customers. We've been regulars so far, but today was definitely the last time.

The breakfast is good and tasty, the service is very friendly and the selection is absolutely fine. However, the price per person is very high for the offer.

We were there last Saturday. The ambience, the service and both the drinks and the food were worth 5 stars! When we asked, we also got a small portion at a cheaper price :-) For everyone who complains about the prices here: In times of minimum wage and sharply increased prices, one cannot expect that prices will not converge. If you are honest with yourself, everyone will realize what they get in return! Sufficient and very attentive, friendly staff - high quality food (including home-baked bread!!). Free parking and a very inviting dining room where every table has so much space that you can feel very comfortable! All in all, a very nice place that we would happily travel 30 km to see again!
