Food has ingredients that are not listed. Poor taste Yakut’s and wrong combinations. Really bad taste!

Horrible service. The barista today was personally rude to me and served a bad drink. I won’t be coming back, I’ll walk a little farther around the corner to Einstein Kaffee.

Accueil et service impeccable. La nourriture est très bonne, épicée comme il fait. Plat servi avec la soupe du jour, une salade, un nan. Nous avons mangé à 3 pour 24€, ce qui est top. Attention, paiement en cash uniquement

Much too expensive: A 4cm*6cm brownie for 2.5€ - and it was not even a good brownie. A piece of quiche with a handful of salad for 8€. I got better lunch for 2/3 of the price just around the corner.

Wir sind eigentlich eingesessene Berliner, haben jetzt mal diesen Inder hier mehr oder weniger spontan getestet, da wir in der Gegend zu Besuch waren....)! Zu touristisch, zu voll, extrem lange Wartezeiten aufs Essen und dann leider doch nur Durchschnitt. Wir haben uns alles einpacken lassen...immerhin ging das. Am Ende auch nur Barzahlung möglich.......Leute......es gibt bessere Location in Berlin!

Kun kontant & god mad Ville oprindeligt give 4*, men da vi først blev gjort opmærksomme på, at de ikke tager kort da vi havde spist, så får de kun 3. Derudover bestilte vi en danskvand(sparkling water) det forstod de ikke, og vi fik alm. vand i stedet. Retterne er store og ret billige, det samme med drikkevarerne. Måtte ud og hæve, hvilket gjorde det 8 euro dyrere end hvad det ville koste normalt, uden gebyr på hæving...

Indisch essen gehen ist in der Regel ein Genuss.... Das trifft hier leider nicht zu... Lieblose Bedienung und ein geschmacklich fragwürdiges Essen. Typisch für Touristen ausgelegt. Naja...

Teníamos dos platos de pollo al curry, incluyendo ensalada, pan naan y arroz, dos sopas con pan naan para empezar, y una cerveza y agua sin gas por 27 euros. La comida era abundante y muy sabrosa, e incluso se ofrecieron a envolver las sobras para nosotros. El personal fue muy atento y la comida llegó rápidamente. El restaurante parecía muy limpio y con mucho espacio para sentarse y hablar en silencio. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra comida

Excellent Indian food, good service and nice restaurant. Cash only, no cards which might be a problem for some but the staff made us aware of that before ordering so wasn’t a problem. The chicken tikka masala was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had in an Indian restaurant.

Den letzten Stern hätte sich dieses neue indische Restaurant am Mercedesplatz verdient, wenn die gebotene Caipirinha dem wirklich sehr guten Geschmack des Essens ansatzweise geboten hätte. Okay, hier kann man das alte Sprichwort mit dem Schuster und seinen Leisten anbringen. Ohne Cocktail wäre es die volle Punktzahl gewesen, also ein insgesamt sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

The service was horrible as the waiter was rushing us all the time and then made us wait a while to pay and leave. The food was also disppointing because the food from the tandoor tasted like food made in a usual pot and the paneer didn't have much taste to it. I was looking forward to eating authentic indian but was quite dissapointed. In addition to this, this restaurant does not take payment by cards. Cash only. Such a huge place with no card facilities.

Lovely staff was seated quickly! Food was good, very good portion for the prices. Cheaper than london and better service?

Nella grande piazza Mercedes Arena c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta noi l’abbiamo scelto come diversivo alle solite birrerie stube tedesche. È un originale ristorante indiano. Molta varietà di piatti e nonostante sia molto affollato il servizio è ben organizzato.

Food and service was EXCELLENT and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Went here about 4pm and we were welcomed and seated. The restaurant is GORGEOUS with some really beautiful decor. Food was awesome. We had chicken tikki marsala and lamb (Rogan josh, not sure of spelling). Garlic nan, salads and German wheat beer. Everything was outstanding and service was impeccable. Only drawback was cash only.

Mercedes Platz has an abundance of eateries so it was by chance we said "we could always eat a curry". I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The cocktail offers were also a draw, so we began by ordering those. Then chose the platter for 2 (which happened to be vegetarian, though we hadn't realised at the time). The food was truly exceptional. Delicious. Perfectly prepared and presented. The red lentil massala soup to start was exquisite. The last time I tasted indian food that good was in Goa last year. The staff are really lovely, friendly and smiling, really helpful and happy to talk/answer questions. The place has a lovely ambience and is very clean. Pricing is good. Portions excellent. What more do you need to know? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Me and my friends went here for dinner and we couldn't be more happy when we left the place. The staff was friendly and fast. They had a great and wide selection on both drinks and food for a good price. They served cocktails for 4 euro that were really good and well made. We all ate the Chicken Korma and Naan bread and we would really recommend it. Be aware that you can only pay with cash in this restaurant!

Wir sind durch Zufall auf das Amar aufmerksam geworden. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen kam super schnell, das Essen köstlich und die Coktails gut. Ich hatte einen sehr leckeren Chicken Masai Salat und Pekoras. Das Essen ist ausgesprochen gut und reichlich, dazu sehr preiswert. Die großen Coktails kosten nur 4 €. Man kann nicht mit Karte bezahlen!

Decided to head to the Mercedes Platz for our last night in Berlin as there was a free festival on near the river and there were kids activities in the square. Decided to go for a late night meal as we had skipped dinner. We all fancied an Indian and so decided to try Amar. The customer service was excellent. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Restaurant itself was immaculate and the atmosphere was nice and cosy. Both myself and my partner ordered the Lamb Korma and a garlic naan bread and our two boys had the chicken curry from the kids menu. The food was fresh and delicious and the portions were big. Both me and my partner decided to try the cocktails which were also delicious and had a good serving of alchohol in them. The bill for the food was in my opinion very cheap considering the service and food. In my home country Ireland the bill would easily be double what we paid. By far the best meal we had in Berlin. The only disappointment I had was that I hadn't found the place earlier. Hats off to the owner and staff, highly recommend the place.

Geschmacklich war es echt gut und die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Ich hatte einen nomilkshake bestellt und was ich nach 8min bekam war ein halbvoller Becher. Frechheit! Also lange Wartezeit und schlechtes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Schade, weil eigentlich sehr schöne Location.

Leckeres und gesundes Fastfood für alle, die sich bewusster ernähren oder mal Alternativen zum herkömmlichen Fastfood probieren möchten!👍👍👍
