Friends, unfortunately, Aspendos is no longer available. La Fiamma Restaurant will be opening soon. May God have mercy on the owner of Aspendos, my brother Mazlum. May he rest in peace. 🤲

It's a shame that Aspendos is closing. I've been there several times and I have to say that the kebabs sold here were among the best in Berlin, alongside places like Pamfilya. Furthermore, Aspendos was an important focal point for the Turkish community in Schöneberg. Whenever you were there, you could see how important it was to the staff to maintain and cultivate relationships with regular customers. Conversations between the two were always conducted with laughter and cheerfulness, and those who gave the restaurant so much support when it first opened and had to prove itself were never completely forgotten. Not only is a great restaurant disappearing, but also a piece of identity, culture and community life in Schöneberg. It will be missed.

It’s always been my favorite Döner in Berlin for the last 7 years. Today I came here and found the place closed. Gone but not forgotten. You‘ll be missed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aspendos Restaurant – and I was thrilled! The atmosphere is very pleasant, stylish, and inviting. You immediately feel at home and warmly welcomed. The food is exceptionally delicious, freshly prepared, and served with great attention to detail. I would especially like to highlight the doner kebab, which I consider the best in all of Berlin – juicy, spicy, and perfectly seasoned. If you want to enjoy good food in beautiful surroundings, Aspendos Restaurant is the place to be. A clear recommendation – I will definitely be back!

I was there today. The tattooed employee came in from outside and immediately took my bread. He had wet hands and unfolded it. When he asked me if I wanted salad, he accidentally spat all over my bread while speaking. I almost threw up. My vegetarian kebab only had salad and sauce; they forgot the falafel. I almost threw up again. Believe it or not, I bought it for 18 euros and threw it all away on my way out. Bottom drawer. Disgusting and never again.

I've eaten here a few times and it's been delicious every time. The falafel were super tasty and fresh. We were asked what the salad should be like and what sauce should be served with it. All in all, I really like the restaurant.

A few years ago the köfte in bread was amazing. But now the thing is completely tasteless and could definitely use more seasoning. The service also leaves a lot to be desired.

New staff very unfriendly my dish was simply prepared without asking and then they said I would never have ordered it like that again! Turkish pizza is no longer made fresh either! In addition, the whole store smelled very unappetizing of sweat, 0 stars!

They give me a doner box full of pommes. And extremely spicy sauce. Never ever again.

The food was great. Lamb skewer excellent. The portions are too small for the price and had different dishes.

Super delicious food. The bread is super soft and delicious. The kebab is also very popular here in Schöneberg and I agree with that. In addition, their Adana plate is the best Adana I was able to eat in Schöneberg. Many thanks also to the staff, they were very nice and friendly to my wishes. Great restaurant would love to eat there again and again.

It's a shame that the owner has changed. This used to be our favorite kebab. We were there yesterday and there was hardly any meat in the bread and everything tasted kind of bland. Bread with almost only vegetables doesn't fill you up and for a whopping €7.50 it's far too expensive. Very disappointing. We won't go there again.

Owner changed/staff changed…. Quality no longer exists!!! That was different! Now the only thing I get in the Iskender plate is old bread, carelessly slapped on top... The lentil soup tasteless with old bread on the side Turkish pizza is only half filled… but plenty of salad and little meat…. I crossed this restaurant off the list! But the menu is the same as before and the prices are also pretty high.

Very tasty done, kofta and especially Turkish pizza. Turkish pizza is always made fresh in a stone oven. The bread for the kebab is homemade and tastes very tasty. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Only recommended!

Undisputedly the best kebab in Berlin of the last 10 years

Wow, that was the worst kebab I've ever eaten in Berlin. Completely loveless, poor quality and really expensive.

There were four of us at Aspendos - 4 different dishes - and we all unanimously agreed: food hot, tasty, good portions. Service friendly and unobtrusive. Paid EUR 57 for 4 people + 2 drinks each, which was okay for us. We were very satisfied and will come back!

We tried kebab and rice pudding. Very pleasant and unassuming restaurant. The bread and meat stands for its quality and overall it was very tasty. A great recommendation.

The kebab as a whole is rather bad. Bland bread, few vegetables and far too small - only the taste of the meat earns the 2 stars here. Otherwise, at €7.50, it's absolutely ridiculously expensive. To top it all off, the staff is also extremely unfriendly and treats you as if you were a supplicant and not a customer. I'm not coming back.

Overall, it was a satisfying experience. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. The sauces were also well-balanced and complemented the other ingredients perfectly. However, I did find that the bread was a bit thicker than I prefer. While it was still soft and enjoyable, I would have preferred a slightly thinner pita for a more traditional döner kebab experience.

We have been regular customers for a long time and always come to this great restaurant. In our opinion, the kebab is the best in the world ☺️

So I always enjoyed eating at Aspendos. But today my food literally got stuck in my throat. The prices in no way justify the poor quality of the food. I will avoid this shop in the future.

I've been there several times! This time the older waiter shot the bird! We had several plates on a quiet early evening. On one plate there should be mixed house grilled plates with extra doner meat on the same plate. In every restaurant in Berlin you can get extra meat for 3-5€ for 100 grams. But here there was a whole plate of kebab on the bill! Only pay in this store when the invoice is printed out! Maybe customs should keep an eye on whether everything is correct...

I had the “pleasure” of visiting the Turkish restaurant Aspendos in Schöneberg for lunch today and unfortunately I have to admit that my experience fell far short of my expectations. First, we were served a portion that was unusually small (by Berlin standards), especially given the disproportionately high price. But this was just the beginning of a series of disappointments. The restaurant's outdoor area was in an unkempt condition, which raised questions about general hygiene. When bread was given, old, dry bread was initially served. Only after asking did we receive fresh bread, coupled with cheeky comments, which was at least a small ray of hope in an otherwise dull dining experience. However, the behavior of the entire staff was particularly disappointing. When we politely responded to the various deficiencies, we only responded with unfriendliness and inappropriate impudence. Treating guests with respect certainly looks different. It is a mystery to me how a restaurant can act like this in the long term and on top of that offer no hospitality at all. I can only hope that this feedback is taken as constructive criticism and leads to a much-needed overhaul of the offering and customer service.

Great team, lahmacun and bread from our own production and a decent kebab skewer made of veal, no minced meat stuff: my lunch favorite as a Dürum kebab for €6.90…

I had the chicken shish taouk and it was really delicious and well served. Even though the restaurant was busy our food came on time and the waiters were really nice.

The best kebab in town! The bread is freshly baked in a stone oven and the meat is real veal. Side dishes such as fries or the soups are also very tasty. The waitresses are very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Would only recommend it to everyone!

Excellent service and excellent quality quality quality of food. The staff were so friendly Our visit was for breakfast and WE ERRE SO HAPPY we started to have our evening meal aswell. My wife is German and I am Scottish. We intend to visit Berlin soon and we will dine again at this wunderbar restaurant.

I don't understand all the YouTubers who rated this facility so highly. Really now. I've been in Berlin for exactly a week now and have already eaten a few kebabs. I primarily followed the tips from the YouTubers. Unfortunately, this facility only gets two stars from me. I ordered a Mercimek soup as a starter. The soup was nice and thick and delicious. The bread served with it was hard and almost dry. They could have at least made it warm here. And now to my flop. For the main course I ordered a Yaprak kebab plate. When the Yaprak plate was brought and I saw this mountain of meat, I just thought wow... lots of meat…. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Among them was the little brother Reis from “Mount Everest”. That was just how much it looked. But now to the food. Unfortunately it's only worth one star both in terms of taste and appearance. The meat or whatever it was was absolutely subterranean. You didn't taste anything. Not even remotely anything like beef/veal or anything like that. The meat was mostly dry. The only thing that was shiny was all the fat/oil. Maybe unfortunately I got meat that had already been cut and was lying there. Because the skewer looked juicy. The main thing is to keep selling off the leftovers😉. Not the fine kind. Since I wasn't full (because it was also a mini portion) I went down the street to Imrem. Dear owner. There is a lot of potential for improvement here.

Yaprak döner olarak kalitesi ve lezzeti çok başarılı. Tabakta istedik. Patatesler yeni kızarmış, salatalar taze solmamış, domatesler yeni dilimlenmişti. Acı sosu gerçek acıydı. Tuvalet çok temiz. Oturma mekanı kokusuzdu.

Nicht mal 1 Stern wert. Nerde görülmüş Lahmacun un yanındaki Limon ve Maydonoza extra dan 4,90 euro ödemek. Tekrardan sipariş imize azar işittik bide, Neden efendim tek tek söylemişiz diye. Bence elemanları eğitmek lazım.

Lecker und authentisch mit selbst gebackenem Brot und leckeren Suppen. Der Dürüm ist sehr zu empfehlen aufgrund des leckeren Fleisches und der Teigrolle, die auch selbst gebacken wird.

Gehe in diesen Dönerladen seid dem ich ganz klein bin. Der Döner ist einfach nur lecker in Berlin gibt es nur noch sehr sehr wenige dönerläden mit so leckerem und qualitativem Fleisch das nicht Hack ist. Die Mitarbeiter die Kellner und allgemein alle die da arbeiten sind richtig nett gehe da sehr oft hin und bereue nichts. Sehr günstig für die Qualität ich sehe schon andere Döner Läden wo der Döner 8 Euro kostet und wo das Fleisch hack war. Der dönerladen ist aufjedenfall zu empfehlen!!! Kleiner Tipp an Aspendos: macht das Brot etwas dünner. Freue mich schon wieder hier zu essen komme vielleicht morgen wieder.

Nach vielen Jahren habe ich mir gestern hier mal wieder einen Döner gegönnt und frage mich, warum es dort so leer war! Leute der Döner ist hier sehr lecker und mit 6,40 preislich absolut im Rahmen, wenn ich bedenke, dass ich mich danach hätte kugeln können, dann ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis extrem gut. Der Salat ist frisch, das Fleisch leicht kross und das Brot selbstgemacht. Beste! Und das Personal ist super freundlich! Was will man mehr!

Einer der leckersten Yaprak Döner in Berlin, aber die letzten Male war sowenig Fleisch, dass es schon unverschämt war! Ich bin großer Fan und hoffe dass ändert sich bald wieder. So ist der Döner eine Abzocke!!!
