Very nice layered skewer, with tender and nicely seasoned meat. Very nice gentleman. The soup is a bit neutral for my taste but was still very convincing with its exceptional taste. Nice location that is actually very clean. Doner kebab very tasty, great value for money for the taste.

Dear Ali Baba, you've been great for 30 years. Adopt the small, too thick, spongy bread from Rüyäm if that's what kids want today... but please give us the opportunity to eat our kebab in a classic flatbread. <3

Veal durum was quite delicious, very thinly sliced however it was way too salty. The wrap was also not toasted before wrapping, but pressed in a panini press after.

It used to be better. Unfortunately, Dürüm has become smaller and used to be simply better. Now it's pretty mediocre. Too bad.

The best kebab I've ever eaten! Everywhere else you now pay €6-7 or more, but Ali Baba remains loyal to its customers and continues to offer it for just €5 - despite the difficult times. Best kebab plate I've ever had. With antipasti, great sauces, and bread. We could barely finish it. Very varied and very good.

They got our order wrong and were unhappy when we said that it’s not what we wanted. I ended up taking what they gave, but asked for an ayran. They asked for coins for it which we didn’t have, so I ended up without it as well. They didn’t add any sauce to the last dish, probably because they were too busy arguing. Horrible customer service. You should do better.

Waren zufällig dort weil bei Rüyan ums Eck die Schlange endlos war. Schawarma und Chicken-Döner sehr lecker. Gibt auch Pizza die gut aussah und viele hatten. Preise ortsüblich. Große Getränkeauswahl. Kann man machen.

Doner kebab meat is well seasoned, sliced ​​nice and thin, roast is great, bread is great with lots of sesame and black cumin, salad is great with fresh parsley, but the hot sauce: Heinz Curry Spice Ketchup with a little chili. This is the most fast-food-tasting kebab I've had in Berlin - it's at the bottom of my personal ranking. But that doesn't mean it's bad - you just have to crave those strong mayonnaise-based, heavy sauces and fatty meat. :) The place is quite nice inside, friendly service. If you want something like a party kebab, this is a good place.

The “lamb doner meat” tastes like absolutely nothing and the sauces don’t add to the overall experience. Friends of the house or people who otherwise don't have access to good kebab obviously see it differently. For me it's an absolute tourist shop that, mind you, offers alternatives to kebab that looked much better. But I can't rate it. As a Berliner, you have low basic expectations of friendliness and service 😉 Conclusion: The shop will continue to find its customers in the future and I'll just keep going next time.

Nothing special, there are much better kebabs in Berlin. I'm surprised by the good rating. We chose this shop because the queue at Rüyam Vegetable Kebab was too long and we couldn't wait that long for anything.

I have often been satisfied, the food is good... this time the desired order was no longer available as requested, the alternative offer was of poorer quality but the price was apparently higher in the end and not really understandable. Card payment not possible despite repeated requests. 3 customers later it was possible. When I asked why it was now possible, the answer was “what’s your problem?” Maybe taxes are evaded this way, maybe not... either way, super unfriendly and bad service. Addendum: The restaurant reported the review after about 2 years and tried to have it deleted. At the same time, they have taken action against all ratings below 5 stars, as other comments from users show. Makes the store even less pleasant.

My first kebab on my Berlin vacation. Unfortunately not good. The meat seems to be just the cheap minced meat and would then only be a rotisserie. The sauce covers everything in terms of taste but that's not difficult since the meat has very little taste of its own. Not a second time from here. Service was nice though.

Directly 1 minute walk from Ryam kebab, which is admittedly really tasty, I would still rather go to Ali Baba because the kebab is at least as good and you don't have to endure a queue. I always enjoy going to Ali Baba and look forward to my next time

I had a bad experience with both the staff and the food. The “Big Döner” was smaller than a normal Döner. The employee didn't wait until the meat was finished grilling. When I asked what that was about, since this wasn't a "Big Döner", he gave me an angry look and claimed that it was a "Big Döner". Until another employee adds more meat. Outrage!🚨 Our group was threatened with violence! The tattooed waitress said we ordered wrong. We then descalated and walked out of the store. The service person then went out and a kebab was thrown out of our hands in the middle of the streets of Berlin. This almost led to an escalating situation!🆘 I absolutely cannot recommend this store!

Since I moved to Prenzlauer Berg, it has quickly become my regular kebab shop, which I visit about 1-2 times a month. Was satisfied with the quality of the food. There is a large selection of oriental specialties and pizzas.
